Description

The present invention relates to a drawer having a rear wall, a front panel, and two side frames connecting the front panel and the rear wall, wherein a connecting element is provided on or in at least one side frame, which connecting element has latching means and can be latched on or in a latching receptacle on the rear wall, and the connecting element is fixed on or in an adapter, wherein the adapter is connected to a wall element in or on the side frame, wherein a securing element fixes the latching means in a force-fitting manner, in particular by clamping, and to a method for mounting a rear wall on a side frame of a drawer.EP 2 398 350 B1 discloses a corner connection for a drawer, in which a connector is provided, which can be plugged onto a first wall element and has a receptacle for inserting a wall element arranged at an angle thereto. A retaining element is inserted into the connector, by means of which retaining element the second wall element can be fixed to the connector. As a result, the wall elements can be fixed to one another by simple assembly steps, wherein the stability of the connection is limited by tolerances on the receptacle.WO 2013 / 056282 A1 discloses a connecting device for connecting two drawer wall parts to be arranged at right angles to a receiving part, a U-shaped clamp for connecting the two drawer wall parts, wherein the two legs of the clamp engage around a web of the drawer wall part, and a first leg of the clamp can be pushed into an insertion opening of the receiving part and connects the receiving part to the second drawer wall part in a positionally secure manner.DE 20 2009 004 982 U1 discloses a drawer in which a corner connector with two parts pivotable relative to one another is provided on each side frame in order to fix a rear wall to a side frame by means of latching means.WO 2017 / 001620 A1 discloses a drawer in which a rear wall is fixed to a side frame via a connecting element fixed to an adapter. It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a drawer with a stable fixing of a rear wall to a side frame, which drawer can be mounted easily. To achieve this object, a drawer having the features of claim 1 and a method for mounting a rear wall on a side frame of a drawer having the features of claim 6 are proposed. In the drawer according to the invention, a connecting element is provided on or in at least one side frame, which connecting element has latching means which can be latched on or in a latching receptacle of the rear wall, the connecting element being fixed on or in an adapter, wherein the adapter is connected to a wall element in or on the side frame, in particular by adhesive bonding, welding, screws or rivets. As a result, the connecting element is captively fixed on or in the side frame and is therefore also suitable for repeated assembly processes of the rear wall. In addition, the rear wall can be pre-fixed to the connecting element by means of latching means.Preferably, a securing element can be inserted into the connecting element substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction from a rear side in the direction of the front panel. The securing element can be fixed in a clamping manner on the latching means, whereby a force-locking fixing of the latching means takes place. As a result, the mounting of the securing element is particularly well suited for series production, since the rear wall can likewise be mounted parallel to the longitudinal direction of the side frame and the securing element is then fixed in the same direction, wherein the accessibility to the securing element is provided via the rear side of the drawer. For a particularly simple assembly, the securing element is integrally formed on the connecting element and separated from the connecting element via a predetermined breaking point. In a first step, the connecting element can then be mounted together with the securing element on or in the side frame in order then in a second step to separate the securing element from the remaining connecting element and to ensure a force-fit fixing. The securing element can have at least one wedge which fixes a latching web of the latching means in a clamping manner. Preferably, the securing element has two wedges connected to one another, which fix two latching webs of the latching means in a clamping manner. The connecting element can be produced easily as a molded part made of plastic. In addition, alternative fastening means can be attached to the connecting element, preferably a screw channel can be provided for the optional fastening of a rear wall by means of a screw, so that optionally, for example, a rear wall made of a wood material can be mounted. In the assembly method according to the invention, a connecting element is first inserted into a receptacle on an adapter on or in a side frame in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the side frame, and the adapter is subsequently glued or welded to the connecting element on a wall element of the side frame. As a result, the connecting element is fixed at the desired position via the adapter. Subsequently, a rear wall, preferably made of a bent steel sheet, is optionally pushed onto a latching means on the connecting element and latched on the latching means before the latching means is fixed in a force-fitting manner via a securing element, or alternatively a rear wall is placed on the connecting element and a screw is fixed through the rear wall into a screw channel of the connecting element for mounting the rear wall. In the method according to the invention, a rear wall can thus optionally be mounted by latching and force-locking fixing of the latching means or alternatively by inserting a screw, in particular when using a rear wall made of a wood material. By means of one and the same connecting element, different types of rear walls can thus be fastened in different ways.In a preferred embodiment, the securing element is mounted substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the side frame, in particular by inserting the securing element into the connecting element. The latching means can comprise two latching webs, and the securing element is inserted in a clamping manner between the two latching webs, in particular with one or more wedges for force-locking fixing. In one embodiment according to the invention, the securing element is formed integrally with the connecting element, and for assembly it is separated from the connecting element and inserted into a receptacle on the connecting element. In addition, the securing element can also be separated in order to release a screw channel on the connecting element if the rear wall is to be mounted via a screw. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to several exemplary embodiments with reference to the attached drawings. The following are shown: FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a drawer according to a first exemplary embodiment; FIG. 2 shows a detailed view of a rear wall connection of the drawer of FIG. 1 during assembly, FIG. 3 shows a view of the rear wall connection of FIG. 2 after mounting of the securing element; FIGS. 4A and 4B are two views of the rear wall connection during assembly; FIG. 5 is an exploded perspective view of the rear wall mounting portions of the drawer of FIG. 1; FIGS. 6A to 6E are several views of the connecting element for mounting the rear wall; FIG. 7 is a perspective view of a drawer according to a modified embodiment; FIG. 8 shows a perspective view of the drawer of FIG. 7 during the mounting of the rear wall; FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the drawer of FIG. 7 prior to mounting the rear wall; FIG. 10 shows a perspective view of the drawer of FIG. 7 during the mounting of the rear wall; FIGS. 11A to 11E are several views of the connecting element for mounting the rear wall; and FIGS. 12A and 12B show two views of a rear wall for a drawer according to a further exemplary embodiment.A drawer 1 comprises a front panel 2 and a rear wall 3, which are connected to one another via a horizontal base 4. Furthermore, side frames 5 are provided on opposite sides of the base 4, which connect the front panel 2 to the rear wall 3. Each side frame 5 comprises an inner wall element 6 and an outer wall element 7, which form a cavity between them.FIG. 2 shows the corner region of the drawer 1 with the rear wall 3, the outer wall element 7 having been removed. The side frame 5 has a lower holding rail 10 made of a bent steel sheet, to which the base 4 is fixed. Above the holding rail 10, a reinforcing rail 11 is provided, to which the inner wall element 6 of the side frame 5 is fixed. For connecting the rear wall 3 to the side frame 5, an adapter 8 is provided which has a receptacle for a connecting element 9 towards the rear side. The adapter 8 is made of a bent steel sheet and is glued or welded, for example, to the upper reinforcing rail and / or the inner wall element 6. A bent web 17 is formed on the adapter 8 as a stop for the connecting element 9, and a bracket 18 is formed at a distance from the web 17, which bracket forms a receptacle for the connecting element 9.On the connecting element 9, latching means 12 in the form of two latching webs are formed with an end-side hook, which can be latched on a tab or web 13 formed integrally with the rear wall 3.Integrally formed on the connecting element 9 is a securing element 14, which is arranged at a distance from the latching webs of the latching means 12 during assembly. In a first step, the rear wall 3 is moved in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the side frames 5 relative to the connecting element 9 and locked on the latching means 12. In order to fix this latched position, the securing element 14 can be separated from the remaining connecting element 9 and inserted into the connecting element 9, as shown in FIG. 3. The securing element 14 has two wedges 15 spaced apart from one another or other clamping elements which can be inserted into a receptacle between a central screw channel 21 and the latching webs in order to fix the latching webs in a force-fitting manner. The insertion of the securing element 14 into the receptacle on the connecting element 9 is effected parallel to the longitudinal direction of the side frame 5.In FIG. 4A, the rear region of the drawer 1 is shown before the rear wall 3 is mounted. The connecting element 9 is arranged in the side frame 5 and fixed by the adapter 8. The latching means 12 and the securing element 14 protrude from the inner wall element 6. In a next step, the rear wall 3, which is produced from a bent steel sheet, is pushed onto the latching means 12 and latched on the web 13. In order to secure the rear wall 3 in the mounted position, the securing element 14 is now separated from the connecting element and displaced towards the front panel 2, as is represented by the arrow, so that the latching means 12 are fixed in a force-fitting manner and a release of the latching connection is prevented. In FIG. 5, the rear wall connection is shown in an exploded view. The rear wall 3 made of the bent steel sheet comprises on opposite end sides a web 13 in which an opening 16 is cut out, into which the latching webs with the hook-shaped sections can be inserted in order to be latched there. The hook-shaped sections then rest on an edge of the web 13.The connecting element 9 is inserted at a receptacle of the adapter 8 and is supported towards a front side by a web 17 and / or is surrounded by a bracket 18. When the adapter 8 is fixed to the inner wall element 6, the holding rail 10 and / or the upper reinforcing rail 11 by welding or adhesive bonding, the connecting element is located captive on the receptacle of the adapter 8.In FIGS. 6A to 6E, the connecting element 9 is shown in detail. The connecting element 9 is produced as a molded body from plastic and comprises the U-shaped securing element 14 with the two wedges 15. The securing element 14 is connected via a web 20 to a screw channel 21, wherein the screw channel 21 is connected to the web 20 via a predetermined breaking point 22. For mounting the securing element 14, this predetermined breaking point 22 can be broken open in order to insert the wedges 15 into a receptacle 19 which is formed between the latching webs of the latching means 12 and the screw channel 21. The latching webs are bendable and are connected to a shaped body 24 via a bottom section 23. On the molded body 24 there are slot-shaped receptacles 25 which extend substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the screw channel 21. The bracket 18 can be inserted into these slot-shaped receptacles 25. Furthermore, a wall section 26 is formed on the molded body 24, which forms a stop when the connecting element 9 is plugged onto the adapter 8, so that the connecting element 9 can be arranged in a positionally accurate manner on the adapter 8. After positioning the connecting element 9, the adapter 8 can be fixed to the inner wall element 6 or the upper reinforcing rail with a portion spaced apart from the connecting element 9.FIG. 7 shows a modified drawer 1' in which another rear wall 3' is mounted, and the remaining components, in particular the side frames 5, are of identical construction and have the same reference numerals as in the first exemplary embodiment. In FIG. 8, the corner region with the rear wall 3' is shown in detail. The adapter 8 with the connecting element 9 is located in the side frame 5, as has been described above. However, no rear wall 3 made of a bent steel sheet is mounted on the connecting element 9, which rear wall is latched to the latching means 12, but rather a rear wall 3' in the form of a plate made of a wood material. This rear wall 3' is fixed by a screw 30, which is screwed into the screw channel 21 of the connecting element 9 and thus ensures a force-locking fixing of the rear wall 3'. In order to mount the rear wall 3' on the connecting element 9, which is otherwise fixed to the side frame 5 via the adapter 8 as in the preceding exemplary embodiment, the securing element 14 is separated at the predetermined breaking point 22 in order to open the screw channel 21 and to screw the screw 30 into the screw channel 21.In FIG. 9, the corner region of the drawer 1' is shown before the rear wall 3' is mounted. The securing element 14 has been separated on the connecting element 9, so that the screw channel 21 is now accessible with its opening from the rear side. On both sides of the screw channel 21, latching means 12 in the form of latching webs are provided, which, however, are inoperative. In a next step, the plate-shaped rear wall 3' is positioned on the two side frames 5, wherein an opening 31 is provided adjacent to an end face of the rear wall, into which opening the screw 30 can be screwed, which screw both reaches through the rear wall 3' and then engages into the screw channel 21 of the connecting element 9. The rear wall 3 then abuts either the inner wall element 6 and / or the end region of the screw channel 21.In FIGS. 11A to 11E, the connecting element 9 is shown, which corresponds to the connecting element of FIG. 6, except for the separation of the securing element 14, The connecting element 9 thus has a screw channel 21, which is open for the screw 30 and is formed integrally with a molded body 24, on which a slot-shaped receptacle 25 is provided for fixing the connecting element 9 to the bracket 18 of the adapter 8. In addition, the molded body 24 has a wall section 26 which abuts the bent web 17 as a stop: the latching means 12 are not necessary when mounting a rear wall 3' made of a wood material, but the connecting element 9 can be used to latch and fix in a force-fitting manner both a rear wall 3 made of a bent steel sheet and alternatively a rear wall 3' made of a wood material, without other components being required. If the rear wall 3 is damaged, a rear wall 3' made of a wood material can also be subsequently mounted for repair.FIGS. 12A and 12B show a modified rear wall 3" in the form of a plate, for example made from a wood material, to which an adapter 33 is fixed on opposite sides, wherein only one adapter 33 is illustrated in the figures. On the adapter 33 made of a bent steel sheet, two spaced-apart webs 13 are formed, in each of which an opening 16 is cut out, into which the latching webs of a fastening means can be inserted, as is already shown in FIG. 3. Each adapter 33 has tabs 34 which rest on a rear side of the rear wall 3". The adapter 33 is fixed to the rear wall 3" by means of screws 35 which are screwed both into the brackets 34 and on the end face of the rear wall 3".In the exemplary embodiment shown, the connecting element 9 is fixed to an adapter 8. It is of course also possible to fix the connecting element 9 directly to the reinforcing rail 11 or the holding rail 10 or to provide another fastening mechanism for the connecting element 9. In addition, the latching means 12 can also be modified in order to provide latching of the rear wall 3 on the connecting element 9.In the exemplary embodiment shown, the rear wall 3 or 3' is fixed in each case to a single connecting element 9. It is of course possible to provide a plurality of connecting elements 9 adjacent to the rear wall 3 or 3' in order to then fix the rear wall 3 or 3' to a plurality of connecting elements 9.List of reference characters1, 1' Drawer 2 Front panel 3, 3', 3" Rear wall 4 Base 5 Side frame 6 Wall element 7 Wall element 8 Adapter 9 Connecting element 10 Holding rail 11 Reinforcing rail 12 Latching means 13 Web 14 Securing element 15 Wedge 16 Opening 17 Web 18 Bracket 19 Receptacle 20 Web 21 Screw channel 22 Predetermined breaking point 23 Base section 24 Shaped body 25 Receptacle 26 Wall section 30 Screw 31 Opening 33 Adapter 34 Tab 35 Screws
