Abstract
Description
Technical area
[0001] The invention relates to motor vehicles with an open luggage compartment, and in particular to devices for covering the luggage compartment and partitioning devices for separating the luggage compartment from the passenger area. Technical background
[0002] Horizontal luggage compartment covers and vertical partition devices, such as partition nets, can be provided to separate a luggage compartment in a motor vehicle. Partition devices that protect luggage in the event of an impact can, for example, be provided as loose or folding nets, rodless nets, and partition net cassettes. These are known, for example, from the publications DE 100 63 725 C1, DE 20 2004 012 088 U1, DE 10 2006 002 781 A1, and US Pat. No. 6,595,567 B1. Luggage compartment covers and partition devices can be variably adjusted and can each be placed in a use position and a stowed position.
[0003] Furthermore, from the document DE 10 2015 110 891 A1, a partition device for separating a cargo space of a motor vehicle is known, comprising a winding shaft with two lateral ends, a roller blind that can be wound onto the winding shaft, and a pull bow for extending the roller blind with two pull bow ends. In a rest position, the roller blind is largely completely wound onto the winding shaft and can be moved into an extended position in which the roller blind is at least partially extended and at least partially separates the cargo space. Two opposing guide rails are provided, wherein the winding shaft is movably guided with its lateral ends in the guide rails, and the winding shaft can be moved back and forth between an operating position, in which the roller blind can be extended by means of the pull bow, and a stowed position.
[0004] The luggage compartment partitions according to the above-mentioned state-of-the-art approaches are generally difficult to operate and can only be installed or removed with great effort.
[0005] The document DE 103 23 605 A1 discloses a protective device for a loading space of a motor vehicle with at least one sheet-like structure which can be alternatively transferred into an approximately vertical protective position or into an approximately horizontal protective position, wherein means for changing the light transmittance of the sheet-like structure are provided, which are coupled to control means which actuate the means for changing the light transmittance depending on a displacement of the sheet-like structure between the protective positions. In other words, the document DE 103 23 605 A1 discloses a luggage compartment partition with a number of flat separating slats, each with a flat slat sheet extending in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction perpendicular thereto, and a guide with a first guide section and a second guide section extending at an angle thereto, wherein the guide is designed to hold the separating slats at their ends with respect to the longitudinal direction and for the parallel displacement of the separating slats along the first guide section and the second guide section.
[0006] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an improved luggage compartment partition which is adjustable and allows easy operation. Disclosure of the invention
[0007] This object is achieved by the luggage compartment partition for a motor vehicle according to claim 1 and by the motor vehicle according to the independent claim.
[0008] Further embodiments are specified in the dependent claims.
[0009] According to a first aspect, a luggage compartment partition for a motor vehicle is provided, comprising: - a number of flat separating slats, each with a flat slat sheet extending in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction perpendicular thereto; - a guide with a first guide section and a second guide section extending at an angle thereto, in particular transversely, wherein the guide is designed to hold the separating slats at their ends with respect to the longitudinal direction and for the parallel displacement of the separating slats along the first guide section and the second guide section; wherein the guide is designed to hold the separating slats in the first guide section and the second guide section in the same orientation with respect to the transverse direction.
[0010] Furthermore, the guide has a guide rail and a guide device engaging in the guide rail, which is held in the guide rail by a holding element.
[0011] One idea for the luggage compartment partition above is to design these individually with flat dividing slats guided in opposing guides. The dividing slats are guided by a first guide section in a first direction, which is preferably arranged horizontally in the motor vehicle, and by a second guide section in a second direction, which has an angle to the first direction that deviates from the first direction by 90° or slightly more than 90°. The dividing slats are guided in the guide rails in a twist-resistant manner so that they lie flat next to one another when guided in the first guide section and maintain their alignment when guided in the second guide section. Thus, each dividing slat can be used either as part of a e.g.horizontally extending flat luggage compartment cover (in the first guide section) or as a separating device with viewing openings formed between the separating slats arranged essentially parallel to the surface (in the second guide section).
[0012] The guide of the dividing slats is designed in such a way that the alignment of the dividing slats is maintained when moved along the guide sections. In this way, it is possible to move the dividing slats so that in a luggage compartment covering position they are arranged essentially horizontally next to one another with their edges against one another in order to cover a luggage compartment, or in a separating position they are arranged along the second direction such that the alignment of the dividing slats is essentially parallel to one another and viewing openings remain between the dividing slats. In the separating position, when used in a motor vehicle, the dividing slats ensure that in the event of an impact, they prevent luggage from getting into the passenger area and, at the same time, ensure that the driver has as unobstructed a view as possible through the rear window of the motor vehicle.
[0013] Overall, the adjustable luggage compartment partition combines a luggage compartment cover for privacy and protection from dirt, with a partition for securing and retaining cargo in the event of a collision or sudden braking. Furthermore, the luggage compartment partition is variably designed and can be adapted to different luggage compartment sizes and different vehicle heights by adding or removing partition elements.
[0014] In particular, the guide rail can have two guide surfaces running parallel to one another, between which a guide element of the guide device is guided, each with two parallel guide element surfaces, wherein the guide element is connected to the slat blade of the respective separating slat in a rotationally inhibited or rotationally fixed manner.
[0015] It can be provided that the first guide section and the second guide section enclose an angle between 90° and 110°, wherein first mutually parallel guide element surfaces of the guide element are provided for guiding between the guide surfaces in the first guide section and second mutually parallel guide element surfaces of the guide element are provided for guiding between the guide surfaces in the second guide section, wherein one of the first guide element surfaces and one of the second guide element surfaces have an angle to one another which corresponds to the angle between the first guide section and the second guide section.
[0016] Furthermore, the distances between the first guide element surfaces and the second guide element surfaces can be equal, wherein the angle between the first and second guide element surfaces is each provided with a rounding, wherein the distance of the roundings is 2-10%, in particular between 4-8%, greater than the distance between the first guide element surfaces or the second guide element surfaces.
[0017] It can be provided that the transition between the first guide section and the second guide section is rounded in order to enable the guide element to be moved between the first guide section and the second guide section without the guide element and the slatted blade attached thereto tilting.
[0018] According to a further embodiment, the first guide section and the second guide section can be pivotable relative to one another.
[0019] It can be provided that the guide device comprises a fastening device with which the guide element is connected to the slat blade, wherein the fastening device is designed with a telescopic element in order to allow a change in the length of the fastening device.
[0020] Furthermore, the lamella blades of the separating lamellas can be bevelled at their edges in the longitudinal direction in their thickness direction.
[0021] According to a further aspect, a motor vehicle is provided with the above luggage compartment partition, wherein the first guide section of the guide is arranged horizontally above a luggage compartment and the second guide section of the guide is arranged behind rear seats of the motor vehicle, extending upwards in the direction of the vehicle roof, wherein the separating slats are held in a covering position in the first guide section and in a separating position in the second guide section. Brief description of the drawings
[0022] Embodiments are explained in more detail below with reference to the attached drawings. They show: Fig. 1a and Fig. 1b is a schematic cross-sectional view of a rear part of a motor vehicle illustrating the luggage compartment partition in a covering position and in a separating position; Fig. 2a and Fig. 2b perspective views of a motor vehicle from the direction of an open trunk lid with the luggage compartment cover in the covering position and in a separating position; Fig. 3 a cross-sectional view through a guide rail and a guide element located therein for laterally holding a separating slat; Fig. 4 a perspective view of a guide device for laterally holding a separating slat; Fig. 5 a representation of adjacent separating slats in the covering position; Fig. 6 a representation of a guide rail at the transition from the first guide section and the second guide section; and Fig. 7 an illustration of a pivotally mounted guide section. Description of embodiments
[0023] Fig. 1a, Fig. 1b, Fig. 2a, Fig. 2b show different views of the luggage compartment partition 2 in a motor vehicle 1 in a covering position ( Fig. 1a, Fig. 2a) and in a separation position ( Fig. 1b, Fig. 2b). In a covering position, separating slats 4 lie flat and substantially horizontally over a luggage compartment 5 and provide visual and dirt protection. In the separating position, the separating slats 4 are arranged substantially vertically one above the other, so that their surface directions are substantially parallel to one another.
[0024] The luggage compartment partition 2 has opposing guide rails 3, which are arranged essentially horizontally along an interior F of the motor vehicle 1 above a luggage compartment 5, each having a first guide section 3a. The guide rails 3 also have a second guide section 3b, which adjoins one end of the first guide section 3a and projects upwards from the latter with a second guide section 3b at an angle of 90° or more toward the ceiling of the passenger compartment (F). The angle between the first direction of the first guide section 3a and the second direction of the second guide section 3b essentially encloses an angle between 90 and 110°, preferably between 95° and 105°.
[0025] The separating slats 4 are each formed with a flat slatted blade 46. They are guided at the slatted blade 46 and at their ends provided in their longitudinal directions (longitudinal ends) in the opposing guide rails 3. In the covering position, the separating slats 4 are guided in the first guide section 3a of the guide rails 3, so that they form a substantially continuous covering surface. In this case, they abut one another with their opposing edges, as shown in the Fig. 1a and Fig. 2a shown.
[0026] In order to protect the separating slats 4 in the covering position as much as possible against tilting, they can be bevelled on their longitudinally extending edges 41 or formed with other corresponding profiles, so that by abutting against each other at the bevelled edges 41, additional point loads on the covering surface formed by the adjacent separating slats 4 can be absorbed. The engagement of mutually facing edges of two adjacent separating slats 4 in the covering position is, for example, in Fig. 5. One can see a bevel of the mutually facing edges 41 of two adjacent separating lamellae 4 along their thickness direction.
[0027] In the separation position, which is shown in the views of the Fig. 1b and Fig. 2b, the guides of the dividing slats 4 in the guide rails 3 ensure that they maintain their essentially horizontal alignment or the alignment of the covering position, so that the slat blades 46 of the dividing slats 4 are aligned with their surface directions essentially parallel to one another and form the partition of the rear region of the interior F. Openings O remain between the dividing slats 4. Since the second guide sections 3b can be arranged between the luggage compartment 5 and rear seats 6, they simultaneously form a grid between the luggage compartment 5 and the passenger area of the interior F of the motor vehicle 1.
[0028] The separating lamellas 4 have guide devices 42 at their longitudinal ends, which in the cross-sectional view of the Fig. 3 are shown in more detail. The guide devices 42 each have a holding element 43 and a guide element 44. Each of the guide devices 42 is connected to the slat blades 46 of the separating slats 4 via a fastening device 45 in a torsion-proof or anti-twist manner. The holding element 43 serves to secure the respective separating slat 4 by engaging behind a stop surface 31 in the guide rail 3 of the guide, in order to prevent the separating slats 4 from accidentally coming loose or falling out of the guide. The guide rails 3 have two guide surfaces 32 running parallel to one another along the guide sections 3a, 3b, in which the respective guide element 44 is guided.
[0029] The guide element 44 is essentially formed with a trapezoidal cross-section, as shown in the perspective view of the guide device 42 in Fig. 4. Two opposing first guide element surfaces 441 are spaced apart by a distance that essentially corresponds to the distance between the guide surfaces 32 of the first guide section 3a of the respective guide rail 3. Thus, the guide device 42 with the first guide element surfaces 441 can slide along the guide surfaces 32 of the first guide section 3a of the guide rail 3, thus enabling the separating elements 4 to be displaced.
[0030] Furthermore, the guide elements 44 have second guide element surfaces 442, which also run parallel to one another and form an angle with the first guide element surfaces 441 that corresponds to the angle enclosed between the first guide section 3a and the second guide section 3b of the guide rails 3. Thus, the guide elements 44 can slide with their second guide element surfaces 442 along the guide surfaces 32 of the second guide section 3b of the guide rails 3, wherein the orientation of the slat blades 46 remains essentially unchanged for the first and second guide sections 3a, 3b.
[0031] The transitions between the first guide element surfaces 441 and the second guide element surfaces 442, which enclose the larger angle, can each be provided with a curve 443 or be rounded, wherein the curves 443 allow a deflection of the guide element 44 from the first guide section 3a to the second guide section 3b of the guide rails 3 and back during displacement. For this purpose, the connection between the first guide section 3a and the second guide section 3b of the guide rail 3 is as shown in Fig. 6, the guide rail is provided with a guide rail rounding 33 on the outside, which allows the guide device 42 to be displaced without obstruction from the first guide section 3a to the second guide section 3b of the guide rail 3. To illustrate the displacement path of one of the guide devices 42, the positions of the guide devices 42 during the transition from the first guide section 3a to the second guide section 3b are shown.
[0032] The holding element 43 of the guide device 42 is designed to be enlarged with respect to the guide elements 42 transversely to the longitudinal direction of the separating slats 4 in order to keep the guide devices 42 spaced apart from one another, so that the guide devices 42 cannot jam together in the region of the guide elements 44, in particular when these are guided between the first guide section 3a and the second guide section 3b of the guide rails 3.
[0033] The curve 443 and the angle between the first guide element surfaces 441 and the second guide element surfaces 442 are selected such that the distance between the outer surfaces of the opposing curves 443 of the guide devices 42 is slightly, i.e. between 2 and 10%, greater than the distance between the parallel guide element surfaces 441, 442 or the guide surfaces 32. This makes it possible, in the separation position, if, for example, a piece of luggage falls onto a slatted sheet 46, to rotate the guide elements 44 between the guide surfaces 32 of the second guide section 3b of the guide rails 3, whereby they are slightly compressed. This is made possible in particular by the fact that the guide elements 44 are made of an elastically or plastically deformable material such as plastic.
[0034] The increased distance between the curves 443 ensures, on the one hand, resistance to unintentional twisting of the separating slat 4 against its alignment in the separating position and, on the other hand, improves the retention of luggage in the event of an impact or braking of the motor vehicle 1, in that the guide elements 44 can twist against the application of a moment by deformation in the second guide section 3b of the guide rails 3.
[0035] The fastening element 45 for holding the slat elements 4 can be provided with a telescopic area in order to be able to accommodate any changes in the distance between the opposing guide rails 3.
[0036] If the luggage compartment partition 2 is in the covering position, the second guide section 3b of the guide rail 3 can be removed, or, as in Fig.7 by several possible positions of the second guide section 3b, can be folded onto the first guide section 3a of the guide rails 3 by a pivotable suspension, so that the second guide sections 3b of the guide rails 3 are no longer disturbing when a vertical separation of the luggage compartment 5 from the passenger area is not required.
