Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a receiving device for a mobile phone for a motor vehicle, comprising at least two retaining clips arranged such that they can move relative to one another and are designed to receive and hold the mobile phone, wherein the mobile phone is arranged in the receiving device and the receiving device can be arranged on an instrument panel or a center console of the motor vehicle.
[0002] Many drivers in the US and China do not use the navigation and media functions of the vehicle's MMI (Human Machine Interface) while driving. Instead, they often use the driver's mobile phone, which is paired with the vehicle. However, connection problems often arise between the mobile phone and the vehicle's MMI.
[0003] Furthermore, MMI software is often outdated because it's difficult to update. Mobile phone software, on the other hand, is usually up-to-date. However, operating the mobile phone doesn't provide haptic feedback like operating a switch panel or an MMI display.
[0004] Another current problem is that when a mobile phone is mounted on a mount near the dashboard or control panel in a vehicle, access to the dashboard is often at least partially blocked. This obscures vehicle controls, such as the MMI, climate controls, and switch panel, making them unusable. Furthermore, air vents are often covered, rendering them less than fully functional.
[0005] From document EP 1 691 263 A1 a display device is known which both displays visual information and serves as a mechanical actuator for generating input signals.
[0006] From the document DE 10 2006 021 459 A1 a holding device for a beverage container or a small electrical appliance is known, with at least one clamping element which can be displaced by at least one drive between a clamping position in which it clamps the beverage container or the small electrical appliance in the holding device, and a removal position in which the clamping element does not clamp the beverage container or the small electrical appliance.
[0007] From the document US 9 080 714 B2, adjustable mounting systems and methods for portable devices are known.
[0008] From the document DE 10 2016 102 031 A1 a holding device for fastening a mobile communication device to a vehicle with a fastening geometry that can be arranged on the vehicle is known.
[0009] The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a recording device which provides an additional operating functionality, the functionality of which can be adapted to a respective size of a recorded mobile terminal.
[0010] This object is achieved by a receiving device having the features of patent claim 1 and by an adapter according to claim 10. Advantageous further developments and embodiments are the subject of the description and description of the figures.
[0011] The subject of the present invention is a receiving device for a mobile phone for a motor vehicle, wherein the mobile phone can be arranged in the receiving device.
[0012] According to the invention, the receiving device comprises at least two holding clips which are designed to receive and hold the mobile phone, wherein the receiving device can be arranged on a dashboard or a center console of the motor vehicle, wherein at least one of the holding clips has at least one sensor element which is designed to detect a touch or a movement on the sensor element or on the sensor element, wherein the receiving device is designed to display or display a function menu, in particular an air conditioning control unit (KBT) of the motor vehicle on a screen of the mobile phone arranged in the receiving device based on a touch or a movement detected by the sensor element, in particular a detected pressing of the sensor element.to project, wherein the receiving device comprises at least one switch element which is configured to provide haptic feedback to a user when a tilting movement is performed, and wherein the receiving device is configured to adapt a functionality of the sensor elements to a length of the received mobile phone.
[0013] Typically, each holding element has a clamping region, which is configured to accommodate at least one sensor element. A clamping region is the region of a holding element that clasps an edge of an inserted mobile phone. Typically, the sensor element is configured to be operable by touch or movement, in particular by pressing.
[0014] The two retaining clips are usually arranged so they can be moved relative to each other, with the two retaining clips being arranged so they can be moved relative to each other on a base rail. Optionally, the two retaining clips can be arranged so they can be moved relative to each other.
[0015] The inventive holding device offers the advantage that a function covered by the mobile phone can be operated ergonomically again. The detected movement or pressing thus provides a real tactile experience, which would not be possible with a conventional mobile phone. Furthermore, the holding device positions the mobile phone in an ergonomic position, both in terms of accessibility and viewing distance.
[0016] In one development, the receiving device comprises an NFC (Near Field Communication) interface configured to detect a mobile phone received in the receiving device and to establish a connection between an application on the mobile phone and the motor vehicle. Typically, the mobile phone is configured to connect to the motor vehicle via the application. The NFC connection offers the advantage of enabling contactless data exchange via electromagnetic induction using loosely coupled coils over short distances of a few centimeters and a high data transmission rate. This ensures fast data transmission between the motor vehicle and the mobile phone.
[0017] In a further development, the sensor element is designed as a sensor strip, wherein the sensor strip corresponds to the length of a mobile phone being held. The sensor strip is generally configured as a continuous area. Alternatively, the sensor strip has at least one sensor configured to detect a touch, movement, or approach, at least in certain areas.
[0018] The sensor element is configured to transmit a detected touch to the receiving device, wherein the receiving device is configured to transmit a command input or triggered by the detected touch to the motor vehicle or an MMI of the motor vehicle. Typically, the receiving device comprises an upper sensor element and a lower sensor element, wherein the upper sensor element is formed on the retaining clip, which is designed to point in the direction of a vehicle headliner, and the lower sensor element is formed on the retaining clip, which is designed to point in the direction of a vehicle floor. In an alternative embodiment, both the upper sensor element and the lower sensor element each have a plus button and a minus button, with the plus button and the minus button being spaced apart from each other in the upper sensor bar.
[0020] In a further development, a menu item of the KBT can be selected by touching or moving, in particular pressing, the screen on which the KBT is displayed. The KBT is usually set up as an air conditioning control menu. The mobile phone usually has a touchscreen that is set up to detect a touch by a user. Touching the screen is usually a single tap. In an alternative embodiment, touching the screen is detected by double-tapping. The type of touch and the associated action or execution of a function can usually be individually set in the application. Optionally, the KBT is projected onto the screen.
[0021] In an embodiment, the receiving device comprises an axis element, wherein the receiving device is configured to be tiltable axially about a longitudinal axis of the axis element from an initial position into a first operating position based on a movement, in particular a pressing of one of the sensor elements, wherein the receiving device is configured to control or select a selected menu item based on the executed tilting movement.
[0022] The starting position is the position in which the mobile phone is inserted into the holder and held. The first operating position is the position assumed by the holder when the holder is tilted forward by touching the upper sensor element. The second operating position is the position assumed by the holder when the holder is tilted forward by touching the lower sensor element.
[0023] Typically, the axis element is configured to tilt the receiving device at an angle between 0.5° and 30°, particularly between 0.5° and 5°, about the axis of the axis element into a first operating position upon contact. The tiltability of the receiving device provides the user with haptic feedback for their input based on the touch. Thus, the user receives tactile confirmation of their input without having to look at the receiving device.
[0024] In a further development, the holding device is configured to automatically return from the first operating position to the starting position after a tilting movement has been performed, particularly if a spring is pressed into a microswitch as a result of the tilting. The automatic tilting movement back to the starting position generally occurs automatically after the first operating position has been reached. Optionally, a time window in which the holding device tilts back from the first operating position to the starting position can be variably adjusted.
[0025] In one embodiment, the recording device is configured to automatically switch from the CBT back to the screen view of the mobile phone arranged in the recording device after a timeout. The timeout is variably adjustable. Typically, the timeout is between 3 seconds and 30 seconds, in particular between 3 seconds and 5 seconds. The timeout is generally adjustable. This allows the time at which the recording device switches from the CBT back to the screen view of the mobile phone to be individually adjusted for each user.
[0026] In a further development, both retaining clips each form a sensor strip, wherein the receiving device is designed to be tiltable via the axis element into the first operating position or a second operating position, wherein a selected menu item or parameter can be controlled or adjusted by tilting into the first operating position or the second operating position. The receiving device comprises an axis receptacle configured to movably mount the axis element. The retaining clips are arranged on a front side of the axis element.
[0027] Furthermore, the receiving device comprises a switch element, wherein the switch element is formed at least partially on a rear side of the axle element and at least partially on the axle receptacle. In the present embodiment, the switch element comprises two microswitches and two actuating elements, wherein the actuating elements are moved towards a respective microswitch during a tilting movement, and the respective microswitch is pressed by the respective actuating element. This provides haptic feedback to the user. As a rule, the receiving device can be attached via the axle receptacle, for example, to a fitting or a control panel.
[0028] In one embodiment, the axle element is detachably arranged on a rear side of the receiving device. Typically, the axle element is arranged centrally on the rear side. The axle element is configured to tilt the receiving device axially about an axis of the axle element. Typically, the axle element is configured to execute a tilting movement of the upper sensor bar toward a vehicle dashboard upon contact with the upper sensor bar, and to execute a tilting movement of the lower sensor bar toward the vehicle dashboard upon contact with the lower sensor bar.
[0029] The invention further relates to an adapter for a vehicle, wherein the adapter can be arranged on a dashboard or a center console of the vehicle.
[0030] According to the invention, the adapter is configured as an axis element, wherein the axis element is configured to receive a receiving device as described above, wherein the adapter is configured to move or tilt the received receiving device axially about an axis of the axis element.
