[0001] The invention relates to a disc brake according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] Such a disc brake is disclosed in DE 10 2013 100 162 A1, DE 10 2016 101 394 A1, DE 10 2007 049 979 A1, DE 10 2006 002 306 A1 and DE 10 2017 113 384 A1.
[0003] To secure the position of the two brake pads, they are each provided with a pad retaining spring, which is attached to the upper edge area of the respective brake pad facing an assembly opening in the brake calliper.
[0004] The brake pads are pressed under preload into the pad recess of a stationary brake anchor plate or the brake caliper by a pad retaining bracket extending transversely to the brake disc, i.e., in the axial direction of the brake disc, which is supported by the pad retaining springs.
