Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1. Field of the InventionThe present disclosure relates to a transmission mechanism, and more particularly, to a transmission mechanism having a monitoring function.2. Description of the Prior ArtA linear transmission device such as a ball screw is composed of a moving body such as a screw cap or a nut, a shaft such as a screw shaft, and a rolling element such as a ball. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2008-180 380A discloses a ball screw that supplies lubricant from lubricant supply holes (20a, 20b) via a lubricant supply unit (23), wherein an iron powder concentration meter (27) is used to detect an iron powder concentration of the lubricant discharged from a lubricant discharge hole (21), and wherein a second iron powder concentration meter (32) is used to detect an iron powder concentration of the lubricant after the lubricant passes through a filter device (29). If the difference between the iron powder concentration of the lubricant after passing through the filter device (29) and the iron powder concentration of the lubricant before passing through the filter (29) exceeds a standard limit value, the control device of the filter device (29) outputs a replacement signal. However, this technology cannot monitor the iron powder concentration in real time. The user must remove the lubricant from the ball screw to determine the concentration. Moreover, when the lubricant is completely removed, the ball screw must be shut off. As a result, the operation of the machine and the manufacturing process are impaired.Taiwan Patent Application TW 201525315 A discloses a linear transmission apparatus with abrasion detection function, which includes a shaft (1), a moving body (2), a plurality of rolling elements (5), an abrasion detector (4), and an alarm module. The alarm module has two connection ends electrically connected to the moving body (2) and a magnetic body (42) of the abrasion detector (4). One end of the magnetic body (42) is provided opposite to an outer surface of the shaft (1). The end is defined as an adsorption end (421) for adsorbing particles abraded between the shaft (1), the moving body (2) and the plurality of rolling elements (5). Whether the abrasion detector (4) is turned on or off is determined by the amount of the abraded particles (7). When the amount of abraded particles (7) is so large as to come into contact with the magnetic body (42) and the moving body (2), the abrasion detector (4) is turned on and caused to emit an alarm signal. However, the analysis method is not objective. Moreover, if the size or volume of the abraded particles (7) is too large, or if the abraded particles (7) contact the moving body (2) and the magnetic body (42) due to a wrong absorption position, the abrasion detector (4) may be turned on, thus triggering a wrong alarm. Moreover, since the absorbed abraded particles (7) cannot be removed before the adsorption end (421) of the magnetic body (42) in the process operation, this structure cannot be reused.Taiwan Patent Application TW200909712A discloses a structure for reducing abrasion of a ball screw. The ball screw comprises a screw shaft (10) with a threaded groove (11) and a nut (20) with internal thread (21). The thread groove (11) of the screw shaft (10) and the internal thread (21) of the nut (20) are engaged with each other via balls (30). The bottom of the internal thread (21) of the nut (20) and the thread groove (11) of the screw shaft (10) are provided with oil passages (22) for a lubricant for flow therethrough. The outer periphery of the nut (20) is provided with a magnet for absorbing remaining abraded particles (50) of the lubricant to adhere the abraded particles (50) to the oil passages (22). By adhering the abrasion particles (50) to the oil passages (22) by magnetic attraction, the abrasion of the ball screw caused by the abraded particles can be reduced and the accuracy of the ball screw can be maintained. However, the structure can only absorb the abraded particles in a passive manner and does not have an active monitoring and warning function.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present disclosure relates to providing a transmission mechanism having a monitoring function to timely detect the metal content in a lubricant to monitor the abrasion of certain components.According to an embodiment, a transmission mechanism with monitoring function comprises a shaft, a movable part, a circulating device, a plurality of (running) rollers and a monitoring module. The drawings and description are therefore intended to be illustrative and not restrictive.FIGS. 1 to 3 are a schematic diagram showing a transmission mechanism 1000 according to a first embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 2 is an exploded view showing the transmission mechanism 1000 according to the first embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 3 is a partial cross-sectional view of the transfer mechanism 1000 shown in FIG. 1 taken along line A-A. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the transmission mechanism 1000 includes a shaft 1, a movable part 2, a circulation device 3, a plurality of rollers 4, and a monitoring module 5. The movable member 2 is movably provided on the shaft 1. The movable member 2 has a roller recess 21 corresponding to the roller recess 10. The roller recess 21 has an effective threaded portion 210 and an ineffective threaded portion 211. The effective threaded portion 210 of the roller recess 21 and the roller recess 10 together form a load path 22. The roller recess 10 may be an external thread of the screw shaft (i.e., the shaft 1), and the roller recess 21 may be an internal thread of the nut (i.e., the movable member 2). The nut (i.e., the movable member 2) is provided on the screw shaft (i.e., the shaft 1) by means of threading of the male thread and the female thread. The circulation means 3 is provided on the movable member 2. The circulation device 3 has a return line 30 which is connected to the load path 22. The return line 30 and the load path 22 together form a circulation path 31. In practice, each of the plurality of rollers 4 may be a ball. Each of the balls (i.e., the rollers 4) makes a circular motion through the circulation path 31 formed by the return line 30 and the load path 22. In the embodiment, the circulation device 3 may include a cover 32 and a pipe 33. The movable part 2 has a peripheral wall 23, a first end portion 24, and a second end portion 25. The first end region 24 faces away from the second end region 25. The peripheral wall 23 is connected between the first end region 24 and the second end region 25. The cover 32 is provided on the peripheral wall 23 of the movable part 2, and the pipe 33 is fixed in the cover 32 and has the return pipe 30. The return line 30 may thus be provided outside the movable part 2 so that the circulation path 31 formed by the return line 30 and the load path 22 is an external circulation path (i.e., the transmission mechanism 1000 is an external circulation type ball screw mechanism). Each of the balls (i.e., the rollers) may run / roll to an outside of the movable part 2 via the return line 30, and then return to the load path 22 in the movable part 2.The monitoring module 5 includes a collection device 50 and a sensor 51. This is illustrated by detection device 50 according to the first embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the collection device 50 is provided in the ineffective threaded portion 211 of the roller recess 21 of the movable part 2. The collecting device 50 has a collecting channel 501 communicating with the roller recess 10 of the shaft 1. The sensor 51 is provided on the collection device 50. In practice, the roller groove 10 of the shaft 1 and the roller groove 21 of the movable part 2 is covered with a lubricant to lubricate contact surfaces of the plurality of rollers 4 and the circulation path 31. The sensor 51 is provided for detecting a metal (such as iron powder) content of the lubricant in the detection channel 501 of the detector 500. In the embodiment, the sensor 51 may be a proximity sensor such as a Hall switch based on the magnetic sensing principle. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. The sensor 51 may also be a spectrometer or other sensor capable of detecting the metal content in the lubricant. In the embodiment, a first configuration through hole 230 and a second configuration through hole 231 are formed on the peripheral wall 23 of the movable part 2. A detection hole 504 and a combination hole 505 are formed on the detector 50. The detection hole 504 communicates with the detection channel 501. The sensor 51 is fixed on the collection device 50 through the first assembly through hole 230. Thus, a detection end 510 of the sensor 51 is provided in the collection channel 501 through the detection hole 504. The sensor 51 can therefore detect the metal content of the lubricant in the collection passage 501 of the collection device 50 via the detection end 510.In the embodiment, the transmission mechanism 1000 may further include a structural member 6. The structural member 6 fixes the collection device 50 to the movable part 2 through the second structural through hole 231 of the peripheral wall 23 of the movable part 2 and the combination hole 505 of the collection device 50. The fastening bolt (i.e., the constitutional element 6) is screwed into the screw hole (i.e., the second constitutional through hole 231), and one end of the fastening bolt (i.e., the constitutional element 6) is engaged with the combining hole 505 of the collection device 50 to collect the collection. To fix detection means 50 to movable member 2. The present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the structural member 6 may be a rivet, and the second structural through hole 231 may be a hole accordingly. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the transmission mechanism 1000 may further be a first scraping member 7 and a second scraping member 8. The first scraping member 7 is provided at the first end portion 24 of the movable part 2. The second scraping member 8 is provided at the second end portion 25 of the movable part 2. The first scraping member 7 and the second scraping member 8 are configured to seal two openings at two ends of the movable part 2 to prevent dust or contaminants from entering the movable part 2. Moreover, the first scraping member 7 and the second scraping member 8 may also be configured to restrain the lubricant from flowing out of the movable part 2 to ensure lubrication between the plurality of rollers 4 and the circulation path 31.In the embodiment, the collection device 50 of the monitoring module 5 is provided between the circulation path 31 and the first scraping member 7. With this arrangement, the movement of the plurality of rollers in the circulation path 31 is not disturbed. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, in another embodiment, the collection or detection device 50 of the monitoring module 5 may also be provided between the circulation path 31 and the second scraping element 8. In still another embodiment, the collection device 50 of the monitoring module 5 may be simultaneously provided between the circulation path 31 and the first scraping member 7 and between the circulation path 31 and the second scraping member 8. That is, the collecting means 50 is provided between the circulation path 31 and the first scraping member 7 and / or the circulation path 31 and the second scraping member 8, which is generally within the scope of the present disclosure. In the embodiment, the collection device 50 includes a bucket area 502. The bucket portion 502 is for guiding the lubricant to the collection. This is received by detection channel 501. Since the collecting device 50 is fixed on the movable part 2 and synchronized with the movable part 2, when the shaft 1 is rotated relative to the movable part 2, the recess wall of the roller recess 10 of the shaft 1 is displaced relative to the collecting device 50 and the bucket portion 502. Thus, the lubricant is guided into the collection passage 501 through the bucket portion 502.In the embodiment, the spoon portion 502 of the collecting means 50 is provided in the recess wall of the ineffective threaded portion 211 of the roller recess 21 of the movable member 2. The bucket portion 502 is an arc structure, and the arc structure (i.e., the bucket portion 502) corresponds to a contour of the ineffective thread portion 211 of the roller recess 21 of the movable part 2, but the arrangement of the bucket portion 502 is not limited thereto. In another embodiment, the bucket portion 502 of the collection device 50 may be provided in the roller recess 10 of the shaft 1, and may also be an arc structure in which the arc structure (i.e., the bucket portion 502) corresponds to a contour of the recess wall of the roller recess 10 of the shaft 1.In the embodiment, the collection or detection device 50 has at least one collection vane region 503. The at least one collecting vane portion 503 extends outside the roller recess 10 for scraping and collecting the lubricant outside the roller recess 10. In the embodiment, the collecting device 50 has two collecting blade portions 503, and the two collecting blade portions 503 are attached to two screw tips of two adjacent roller recesses 10 of the shaft 1. The collection device 50 can thus take the lubricant into the collection channel 501 via the bucket portion 502, and can scrape and collect the lubricant located at the screw tip of the shaft 1 via the two collecting blade portions 503. The lubricant can therefore be more effectively supplied into the collection passage 501 of the collection device 50. The number of the blade portions 503 is not limited to that shown in the drawing of the embodiment. Thus, for example, the collecting or detection device 50 can have only one collecting vane region 503, which depends on practical requirements. Moreover, the collecting blade portion 503 of the collecting means 50 is selective. For example, FIG. 7 is a schematic diagram showing a collection device 50' according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Thus, the main difference between the collection device 50' and the collection device 50 listed above is that the collection device 50' is not disposed with the collector blade area to meet various device specifications.FIGS. 5 and 6 are schematic diagrams illustrating a transmission mechanism 2000 according to a second embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 6 is a partial cross-sectional view of the transmission mechanism 2000 according to the second embodiment of the present disclosure. The main difference between the transmission mechanism 2000 and the above transmission mechanism 1000 is that the transmission mechanism 2000 is a recirculating type end cap ball screw mechanism. The transmission mechanism 2000 includes a first end cap 36 and a second end cap 37. the first end cap 36 is provided on the first end portion 24 of the movable part 2, and the second end cap 37 is provided on the second end portion 25 of the movable part 2. In the embodiment, the circulation device 3 of the transmission mechanism 2000 includes the first end cap 36 and the second end cap 37. A first end cap channel 362 is provided on the first end cap 36, and the first end cap channel 362 communicates with the inner channel 232. A second end cap channel 370 is provided on the second end cap 37, and the second end cap channel 370 communicates with the inner channel 232. The inner channel 232, the first end cap channel 362, and the second end cap channel 370 together form the return line 30 of the transmission mechanism 2000 (i.e., the recirculation type end cap ball screw mechanism). In the embodiment, a first build-up through hole 360 and a second build-up through hole 361 are provided on the first end cap 36, and a first build-up through hole 371 and a second build-up through hole 372 are provided on the second end cap 37. Thus, the transmission mechanism 2000 may include two monitoring modules 5. In assembly, the two monitoring modules 5 may be screwed to the second assembly through hole 361 of the first end cap 36 and the second assembly through hole 372 of the second end cap 37 via two structural members 6.Moreover, the number and position of the monitoring modules 5 of the transmission mechanism 2000 is not limited to those shown in the drawing of the embodiment. For example, the transmission mechanism 2000 may include only one monitoring module 5 in which a first build-up through hole 360 and a second build-up through hole 361 are formed on the first end cap 36, or a first build-up through hole 371 and a second build-up through hole 372 are provided on the second end cap 37. In assembly, the monitoring module 5 may be screwed to the second assembly through hole 361 of the first end cap 36 or the second assembly through hole 372 of the second end cap 37 via the structural member 60. That is, the first configuration through hole 360 and the second configuration through hole 361 formed on the first end cap 36 and / or the first configuration through hole 371 and the second configuration through hole 372 formed on the second end cap 37, and the monitoring module 5 attached to the first end cap 36 and / or the second end cap 37 via the configuration member 6 are all within the scope of the present disclosure. In the embodiment, the first scraping member 7 is provided on the first end cap 36, and the second scraping member 8 is provided on the second end cap 37. The collection device 50 of one of the monitoring modules 5 is provided between the circulation path 31 and the first scraping member 7, and the collection device 50 of the other monitoring module 5 is provided between the circulation path 31 and the second scraping member 8.FIGS. 8 and 9 are schematic diagrams illustrating a transmission mechanism 3000 according to a third embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 9 is a partial cross-sectional view of the transmission mechanism 3000 according to the third embodiment of the present disclosure. In the embodiment, the transmission mechanism 3000 includes two monitoring modules 5. the main difference between the transmission mechanism 3000 and the above-mentioned transmission mechanism 1000 is that each of the monitoring modules 5 further includes a case 9, and the collection device 50 is provided in the case 9. Moreover, the sheaths 9 are provided on the first end portion 24 and the second end portion 25 of the movable part 2. In other words, each of the monitoring modules 5 is independent of the movable part 2, one of the monitoring modules 5 is detachably mounted on the first end portion 24 of the movable part 2, and the other of the monitoring modules 5 is detachably provided on the second end portion 25 of the movable part 2. However, the number and position of the monitoring module 5 of the transmission mechanism 3000 is not limited to that shown in the drawing of the embodiment. For example, the transmission mechanism 3000 may include only one monitoring module 5, and the monitoring module 5 may be selectively provided on the first end portion 24 or the second end portion 25 of the movable part 2.In the embodiment, the first scraping member 7 is provided on one of the two sheaths 9, and the second scraping member 8 is provided on the other of the two sheaths 9. The collecting means or the collecting means or the collecting means. Detection means 50 of one of the two monitoring modules 5 is provided between the circulation path 31 and the first scraping member 7, and collection means 50 of the other of the two monitoring modules 5 is provided between the circulation path 31 and the second scraping member 8.Moreover, the transmission mechanism 3000 is a recirculation type external ball screw mechanism. That is, the circulation device 3 of the transmission mechanism 3000 includes the cover 32 and the pipe 33. the cover 32 is fixed on the peripheral wall 23 of the movable part 2. The tube 33 is fixed in the cover 32 and has the return conduit 30.FIGS. 10 and 11 are schematic diagrams illustrating a transmission mechanism 4000 according to a fourth embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 11 is a partial cross-sectional view of the transmission mechanism 4000 according to the fourth embodiment of the present disclosure. The main difference between the transmission mechanism 4000 and the above transmission mechanism 1000 is that the transmission mechanism 4000 is a recirculation type internal ball screw mechanism. Specifically, the circulation device 3 of the transmission mechanism 4000 includes a first circulation member 34 and a second circulation member 35. the inner channel 232 is formed on the circumferential wall 23 of the movable part 2 of the transmission mechanism 4000, and the inner channel 232 communicates with the first end portion 24 and the second end portion 25. The first circulation member 34 is provided on the first end portion 24 of the movable part 2. The second circulation member 35 is provided on the second end portion 25 of the movable part 2. A first circulation line 340 is formed in the first circulation member 34, and the first circulation line 340 communicates with the inner channel 232. A second circulation line 350 is provided in the second circulation member 35, and the second circulation line 350 communicates with the inner channel 232. The inner channel 232, the first circulation line 340, and the second circulation line 350 together form the return line 30.In the embodiment, the first scraping member 7 is provided on the first end portion 24 of the movable part 2, and the second scraping member 8 is provided on the second end portion 25 of the movable part 2. The collection device 50 of the monitoring module 5 of the transmission mechanism 4000 is provided between the circulation path 31 and the first scraping member 7. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, in another embodiment, the collection device 50 of the monitoring module 5 may be provided between the circulation path 31 and a second scraping member 8. In still another embodiment, the collection device 50 of the monitoring module 5 may be simultaneously provided between both the circulation path 31 and the first scraping member 7 and between the circulation path 31 and the second scraping member 8.In summary, the monitoring module 5 according to the present disclosure may include the collection device 50 and / or the collection device 50' and the sensor 51, wherein the collection device 50 and / or the collection device 50' are provided outside the load path 22 (or the circulation path 31) and communicate with the roller recess 10 of the shaft 1. The monitoring module 5 according to the present disclosure may be adapted for a recirculation type internal ball screw mechanism (such as the transmission mechanism 1000, 3000), a recirculation type end cap ball screw mechanism (such as the transmission mechanism 2000), and a recirculation type internal ball screw mechanism (such as the transmission mechanism 4000).In FIGS. 12, 12, a cross-sectional view of the transfer mechanism 1000 shown in FIG. 1 is taken along the line B-B. The monitoring module 5 of the transmission mechanism 1000 further includes a control unit 52 and a power supply unit 55. The control unit 52 is coupled to the sensor 51 and the power supply unit 55. The power supply unit 55 is configured to supply power to the control unit 52 so that the control unit 52 can perform functions of calculation, storage, and so on. The control unit 52 is configured to perform the following steps:Step 100: Control the sensor 51 to detect the metal content of the lubricant in the collection passage 501 of the collection device 50 at each specific time interval.Step 200: Determine whether the metal content of the lubricant in the collection passage 501 of the collection device 50 exceeds a threshold; if Yes, go to step 300; if No, return to step 100.Step 300: Transmit a warning or execute a method operation. When the monitoring module 5 of the present disclosure is employed to perform the monitoring function, the control unit 52 may control the sensor 51 to determine the metal content of the lubricant in the collection channel 501 of the collection device 50 at any desired time interval (step 100), where the determined time interval may be 1 minute, without being limited thereto. Meanwhile, the control unit 52 determines whether the metal content of the lubricant in the sensing passage 501 of the sensing device 50 exceeds a threshold, wherein the threshold may be a weight percentage of 0.05% (i.e., 0.05% by weight), without being limited thereto. For example, the limit in the range of weight percentages from 0.05% to 0.1% (i.e., 0.05% to 0.1% by weight) is full within the scope of the present disclosure. If the control unit 52 determines that the metal content of the lubricant in the collection passage 501 of the collection device 50 does not exceed the threshold value, the control unit 52 continuously controls the sensor 51 to collect the metal content of the lubricant in the collection passage 501 of the collection device 50 at each specific time interval (step 200). If the control unit 52 determines that the metal content of the lubricant in the collection passage 501 of the collection device 50 exceeds the threshold value, the control unit 52 sends a warning or performs a process (step 300). The alert may be, but is not limited to, an alert sound and the method step may be, but is not limited to, shutting down the device. In yet another embodiment, the monitoring module 5 may further include a transmission unit 53. The transmission unit 53 is coupled to the control unit 52 and configured to transmit an alarm signal to an electronic device 54, wherein the alarm signal may be, but is not limited to, a prompt message, a warning message, and so forth. If the control unit 52 determines that the metal content of the lubricant in the collection channel 501 of the collection device 50 exceeds the threshold, the control unit 52 may further control the transmission unit 53 to transmit the alarm signal to the electronic device 54, wherein the electronic device 54 may be, without being limited thereto, a mobile phone, a computer, a server, and so forth. Thus, the monitoring module 5 can transmit the alarm signal to the person having the electronic device 54 via the transmission unit 53 when the metal content of the lubricant in the collection channel 501 is not normal. In FIG. 13, FIG. 13 (not according to the present invention) is a schematic diagram showing another transmission mechanism 5000. The transmission mechanism 5000 is a linear guide mechanism, the movable part 2 is a slide block, and the shaft 1 is here replaced with a slide rail. The first end cap 36 and the second end cap 37 are provided on the first end portion 24 and the second end portion 25 of the slide block (i.e., the movable part 2). The transmission mechanism 5000 may comprise two sheaths 9 and two monitoring modules 5. The sheaths 9 are provided removably on a side of the first end cap 36 remote from the first end portion 24, and a side of the second end cap 37 remote from the second end portion 25. The two monitoring modules 5 are provided on the two casings 9, respectively. Moreover, the first scraping member 7 is fixed to a side of the shell 9 opposite to the first end cap 36, and the second scraping member 8 is provided to a side of the shell 9 opposite to the second end cap 37. The structure and function of the monitoring module 5 may be the same as the above-mentioned embodiment, and will not be repeated here.As compared with the related art, the collecting means of the monitoring module of the present disclosure is provided outside the circulation path of the transmission mechanism and communicates with the roller groove of the shaft. When the transmission mechanism is in operation, the sensor of the monitoring module can immediately and directly detect the metal content of the lubricant in the collecting or detection channel of the collecting or detection device. Moreover, since the collecting passage of the collecting device is a through hole, the lubricant will continuously circulate, which can prevent contamination due to accumulation of metal. As a result, the detection accuracy can be increased. It will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art that numerous modifications and changes may be made to the apparatus and method while retaining the teachings of the invention. The disclosure set forth above should therefore be construed as being limited only by the scope and limits of the appended claims.
