Claims

[1] Height adjustment device (1) which is attached to the side of a piece of furniture or office furniture and which has: a mounting seat (10) comprising a locking groove section (11), a rail groove section (12) and a mounting section (13), wherein the locking groove section (11) is provided with a plurality of vertically arranged, spaced-apart and communicating locking grooves (111), and wherein the mounting section (13) is mounted in a mounting position (A) on one side of the furniture or office furniture; and an outer sleeve (20) which is connected to the outside of the mounting seat (10) in a rail-like manner and which can move up and down along the rail groove section (12), wherein the outer sleeve (20) has a support seat (21) and an actuating window (22), and wherein the support seat (21) is arranged at the upper end of the outer sleeve (20), and wherein the actuating window (22) is located on one side of the outer sleeve (20) and communicates with the interior of the outer sleeve (20); wherein the outer sleeve (20) further comprises a sliding seat (23), the sliding seat (23) being located in the outer sleeve (20); and wherein the height adjustment device further comprises a pull unit (30) which is arranged to be slidably up and down in the sliding seat (23) of the outer sleeve (20), wherein the pull unit (30) has an actuating section (31), a receiving groove (32) and a locking projection (34), and wherein the actuating section (31) extends from the upper end of the pull unit (30) and projects out of the actuating window (22) of the outer sleeve (20), and wherein the actuating section (31) serves to ensure convenient actuation for the user, and wherein a spring element (35) is arranged in the receiving groove (32), and wherein the locking projection (34) can engage in one of the detent grooves (111) of the detent groove section (11) of the mounting seat (10) under the influence of the clamping force of the spring element (35) on the pull unit (30), thereby locking the support seat (21) of the outer sleeve (20) in a is positioned at the corresponding height position of the locking groove (111); wherein the locking projection (34) of the pull unit (30) is moved synchronously when the actuating section (31) is actuated, such that the locking projection (34) is separated from the detent groove (111) of the detent groove section (11) of the mounting seat (10) into an unlocked state, and wherein the mounting seat (10) remains stationary, allowing the outer sleeve (20) and the pull unit (30) to move upwards and downwards with respect to the mounting seat (10); wherein, after the position has been set by moving the outer sleeve (20) and the pull unit (30) up and down, the actuating section (31) can be released, the locking projection (34) engaging in a further detent groove (111) of the detent groove section (11) of the mounting seat (10) in a locked state under the influence of the restoring force of the spring element (35); and wherein, when the outer sleeve (20) is moved up and down relative to the mounting seat (10) for height adjustment, the up and down movement of the outer sleeve (20) occurs between a highest point (H) and a lowest point (L), wherein the mounting seat (10) or the mounting position (A) is located between the highest point (H) and the lowest point (L) of the movement of the outer sleeve (20); characterized by , that the cover unit (24) is provided on one side of the outer sleeve (20) for covering the train unit (30), wherein the cover unit (24) consists of a first cover plate (241) and a second cover plate (242) which are joined to form a single unit, and wherein the first cover plate (241) is mounted on the train unit (30) and is provided with a downwardly opening first long recess (2411), and wherein the second cover plate (242) is mounted on the first cover plate (241) and is provided with a downwardly opening second long recess (2421), and wherein the first long recess (2411) and the second long recess (2421) are aligned sequentially, the cover plates (241, 242) engaging in the rail groove section (12) through the long recesses (2411, 2421) to create an up- and down-to-down motion. [2] Height adjustment device (1) according to claim 1, characterized by , - that the pulling unit (30) is formed on opposite sides of the lower end of the pulling unit (30) with an inclined guide groove (36) and is inclined downwards towards the outside; and - that a sliding wing (341) protrudes on each of the left and right sides of the locking projection (34), wherein the two sliding wings (341) are position-limited in the two inclined guide grooves (36) of the pull unit (30) and these can move simultaneously along the inclined guide grooves (36) in such a way that the up and down movement of the pull unit (30) can be converted into a transverse displacement of the locking projection (34). [3] Height adjustment device (1) according to claim 2, characterized by, that the pull unit (30) further comprises a cover strip (33) located between the sliding seat (23) and the locking groove section (11), wherein the cover strip (33) has a guide hole (331) into which the locking projection (34) engages, and wherein, when the up and down movement of the pull unit (30) is converted into a transverse displacement of the locking projection (34), the locking projection (34) can be limited in the guide hole (331) so that it can be displaced in the guide hole (331) in a transverse direction. [4] Height adjustment device (1) according to claim 1, characterized by, that the spring element (35) is designed as a spring, wherein the sliding seat (23) is provided with an upper spring mounting section (231), and wherein a lower spring mounting section (321) is arranged in the receiving groove (32) opposite the upper spring mounting section (231), and wherein the spring element (35) is located between the upper spring mounting section (231) and the lower spring mounting section (321). [5] Height adjustment device (1) according to claim 1, characterized by, that the actuating section (31) is arranged at the upper end of the pull unit (30), wherein a sliding space (25) is formed inside the upper section of the outer sleeve (20), and wherein the sliding space (25) adjoins the actuating window (22), and wherein the actuating section (31) enters the sliding space (25) when the locking projection (34) arranged on the pull unit (30) is moved synchronously when the actuating section (31) is actuated for height adjustment. [6] Height adjustment device (1) according to claim 1, characterized by , that the mounting seat (10) is provided on its outer edge with a plurality of stabilizing elements (14) which lie between the mounting seat (10) and the sliding seat (23). [7] Height adjustment device (1) according to claim 1, characterized by , that the actuating section (31) of the pulling unit (30) is detachably arranged on the pulling unit (30). [8] Height adjustment device (1) according to claim 1, characterized by , that the fastening section (13) of the fastening seat (10) is designed as a long and narrow projection, wherein the furniture or office furniture is a chair (4) having a backrest (4a) and a seat (4b), wherein the height adjustment device (1) is attached at an angle to the side of the backrest (4a) of the chair (4) by means of the fastening section (13).
