Description

The present invention relates to a mobile charging device for charging electric vehicles and to a method for mounting such a charging device. The market for electrically operated motor vehicles (Battery Electric Vehicles; BEV) has been growing rapidly for a few years. More than five million electric cars are currently in operation worldwide. In order to be able to charge the energy stores of an electric car as quickly and flexibly as possible with electric current, it is necessary to be able to connect the charging connection of the electric car to a multiplicity of different connection options of the energy supply network. For this purpose, permanently installed charging stations (charging stations, wall boxes) and mobile charging devices are available, wherein the latter can be carried in the electric vehicle itself and maximize the flexibility together with corresponding adapters.Such mobile charging devices must also function reliably in adverse weather conditions, should be constructed in a light and yet robust manner, should be connectable to a plurality of different technical network connections and should in the process meet the legally prescribed standards with regard to safe operation.Known mobile charging devices still have a relatively large volume and weight and are sometimes difficult to install.DE 10 2019 121 108 B3, US 2014 / 0 203 777 A1, US 2012 / 0 282 798 A1, US 2011 / 0 204 715 A1 disclose charging control devices for charging electrically operated vehicles according to the preamble of claim 1. DE 10 2010 032 153 A1 shows a connection box made of plastic for a photovoltaic solar module, which is adhesively bonded to a flat solar module. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an improved mobile charging device which at least partially overcomes the above-mentioned disadvantages and has a reduced volume and weight compared to the prior art, and to provide a simple and cost-effective method for the assembly thereof. This object is achieved by the subject matter of independent claims 1 and 10. Advantageous embodiments and embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.A mobile charging device according to the invention for charging an electric vehicle, in particular an electric car, comprises a charging control device for controlling parameters for charging an accumulator of the electric vehicle, a connection on the grid side for connecting the charging control device to a power grid and a connection on the load side for connecting the charging control device to the electric vehicle. The charging control device comprises a housing in which power and / or control electronics of the mobile charging device are accommodated and which has at least one first access opening. Furthermore, the charging regulating device comprises a first cover which closes the first access opening. The housing has a first joining surface and the first cover has a second joining surface which face each other and which extend around the first access opening. The first and the second joining surface together delimit a cavity which runs at least partially around the first access opening and is filled with an adhesive which sealingly connects the first cover and the housing to one another. In this way, a mobile charging device is provided in which the housing and the first cover can be formed with thin walls due to their adhesion, thereby saving installation space and reducing the weight of the charging device. Threads for screwing the housing and the first cover together, which require an increased wall thickness, are not required. As a result, during the assembly of the charging device, a corresponding screwing process with a predetermined torque to be set precisely and monitored is also dispensed with. A space-saving construction and simple assembly are additionally promoted in that the sealing adhesive does not require any additional sealing elements or sealing processes.A preferred adhesive is, for example, an acrylate-based or polyurethane-based 2-component construction adhesive. This is a stable (non-sag) adhesive and therefore does not flow independently from an opening similar to a toothpaste, has an extremely high temperature application range from about -40° C. to about 150° C., and a high tensile shear strength on aluminum and plastic. The adhesive has a particularly good adhesion and sealing characteristic if it is selected from a group comprising: acrylate-based or polyurethane-based construction adhesive. The dimension of the cavity comprises a gap dimension between the first and the second joining surface, which is preferably between 0.1 mm and 1.0 mm, more preferably between 0.2 mm and 0.8 mm, even more preferably between 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm.The housing preferably has an outer diameter which is between 30 mm and 70 mm, more preferably between 40 mm and 60 mm, even more preferably between 50 mm and 55 mm. A length of the housing in its longitudinal direction is preferably between 120 mm and 250 mm, more preferably between 180 mm and 220 mm, even more preferably between 213 mm and 215 mm.The housing is preferably formed from metal, in particular from an aluminum alloy such as, for example, EN AW-6063 or EN AW-6082. The housing may be extruded, for example. The first cover is preferably formed from plastic, in particular from polycarbonate (PC), from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).The housing can furthermore have a second access opening, wherein the charging control device then preferably comprises a second cover which closes the second access opening. For example, the housing is substantially cylindrically shaped and has the first access opening on a first end side and the second access opening on a second end side. The second access opening and the second cover are preferably designed analogously to the first access opening and to the first cover, respectively. All features described herein with respect to the first access opening and the first cover can therefore be transferred analogously to the second access opening and the second cover. The housing and the first cover can have a shape that is at least partially and preferably completely rotationally symmetrical. Preferably, the housing and the first cover are rotationally symmetrical, in particular cylindrical, at least in the region of the first or second joining surface. In a preferred embodiment, the housing has a collar or flange which surrounds and thereby defines the first access opening and which has the first joining surface. The first cover then has a corresponding collar or flange which has the second joining surface. The housing and the first cover preferably form an overlap joint with a predefined overlap length. The overlap length is preferably between 5 mm and 15 mm, more preferably between 8 mm and 12 mm, even more 10 mm.For this purpose, the first and the second joining surface can be sections of a circumferential surface of the housing or of the first cover. Preferably, the first joint surface is an inner circumferential surface of the housing surrounding the first access opening, and the second joint surface is an outer circumferential surface of a (connecting) portion of the first lid inserted into the first access opening. However, it is also conceivable for the first joining surface to be an outer circumferential surface or lateral surface of a section of the housing in the region of the first access opening and for the second joining surface to be an inner circumferential surface of the first cover, wherein the housing is partially inserted into the first cover. The first and the second joining surface can additionally or alternatively also comprise end faces of the housing or of the first cover and thus extend in sections radially to an axis with which the first access opening is preferably formed rotationally symmetrically. The cavity preferably completely surrounds the first access opening. In other words, the cavity is formed continuously around the first access opening in order to provide a continuous connection and seal between the first and the second joining surface. Alternatively, the first and the second joining surface can also delimit a plurality of cavities, which each extend partially around the first access opening and are each filled with an adhesive. It is then desirable for the plurality of cavities to surround the first access opening as completely as possible in order to enable a firm and tight connection of the first cover to the housing. In a preferred embodiment, at least one of the first and second joining surfaces has a groove for forming the cavity between the first and second joining surfaces. The groove preferably completely surrounds the first access opening, i.e. is formed circumferentially in the first and / or second joining surface. The groove allows the cavity to be reliably and precisely dimensioned and formed. A depth of the groove relative to the surface of the housing or of the cover into which it is introduced preferably corresponds to the gap dimension of the cavity. A width of the groove is preferably between 2 mm and 14 mm, more preferably between 6 mm and 10 mm, even more preferably 8 mm. The aim is to obtain as much bonding surface as possible. In the regions adjoining the groove, the first and the second joining surface can abut each other and in this way form a contact or sealing region between the housing and the first cover.Due to the adhesive connection between the housing and the first cover and the elimination of threads made possible thereby, the wall thicknesses of the housing and of the first cover can be selected to be low. The housing preferably has a wall thickness in the region of the first joining surface which is between 1 mm and 3 mm, more preferably between 1.2 mm and 2.5 mm, even more preferably 1.5 mm. The first cover preferably has a wall thickness in the region of the second joining surface that is between 1.5 mm and 4 mm, more preferably between 2.0 mm and 3.0 mm, even more preferably 2.5 mm.A particularly simple mounting of the charging device can be effected if at least one of the first and second joining surfaces has at least one filling opening for filling the adhesive into the cavity and at least one of the first and second joining surfaces has at least one venting opening for discharging air from the cavity, wherein the at least one filling opening and the at least one venting opening each provide a fluid connection to the cavity. In particular, the at least one filling opening and the at least one venting opening open into the respective one of the first and second joining surfaces of the shaped cavity. A plurality of filling and / or venting openings can also be provided. If the first access opening is formed about a central axis, the filling opening and the venting opening preferably run radially to the central axis. The adhesive can be filled, in particular injected, through the filling opening into the cavity after the housing and the first cover have been joined together. The filling opening therefore preferably runs from an outer side of the charge control device through the first cover or the housing to the cavity. It is understood that in the various embodiments the filling opening is formed in each case in the component of housing and first cover, through which access from the outside to the cavity is possible. When the adhesive is introduced into the cavity, this displaces air from the cavity, which air is discharged through the vent opening. The venting opening preferably runs from an outer side or an inner side of the charge control device through the first cover or the housing to the cavity. It is understood that the vent opening in the various embodiments is formed in the component of housing and first cover, through which access from the outer side or the inner side to the cavity is possible. If the venting opening runs from the outside of the charge control device to the cavity, this has the advantage that contamination or damage of the power and control electronics inside the housing by emerging adhesive can be avoided. In addition, the vent opening can be arranged relative to the filling opening in such a way that an outward visible emergence of the adhesive from the vent opening indicates that the cavity is completely filled with adhesive.A plurality of filling openings and / or venting openings can be provided in particular when the first and the second joining surface form a plurality of cavities. At least one filling opening and at least one venting opening per cavity are then provided. The filling opening preferably has a diameter which is between 1 mm and 3 mm, more preferably 2 mm.The vent opening preferably has a diameter which is between 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm, more preferably 1 mm.Preferably, the diameter of the filling opening is larger than the diameter of the venting opening. In a preferred embodiment, the first and the second joining surface are connected to one another in a force-fit manner in a contact region. The force-fit connection is effected in particular by a press fit between the first joining surface of the housing and the second joining surface of the first cover. For example, the first cover is partially pressed into the housing, in particular into the first access opening, or vice versa. It is preferable that the housing and the first lid are joined to each other only by the press-fitting and the adhesive. A threaded connection that is complicated to produce can then be dispensed with. The charging control device is provided for controlling charging parameters. The charging regulating device is configured to regulate a charging current for charging the rechargeable battery of the electric vehicle and / or to monitor, start and / or end a charging process for charging the rechargeable battery of the electric vehicle. For this purpose, the charging control device comprises corresponding power and / or control electronics of the mobile charging device. The power and / or control electronics can comprise a control unit which can receive and process signals from the electric vehicle, from the consumer-side and from the grid-side connection, and the power-carrying elements which are decisive for the charge. It is furthermore preferred that the housing has a display and at least one operating element. The display and the at least one operating element are configured to display information about the charging process (e.g. a set current intensity) and to enable user inputs. The display and the at least one operating element are preferably connected to the power and control electronics in a communicating manner, in particular to the control unit. Finally, the charging device preferably comprises a first charging cable, which connects the charging control device to the connection on the network side, and a second charging cable, which connects the charging control device to the connection on the consumer side. The first cover then preferably has a through opening, through which an electrical line of the first or second charging cable is guided into the housing, where it is connected to the power and control electronics of the charging device. If a second cover is provided, an electrical line of the other of the first and second charging cables can be correspondingly guided through a through opening in the second cover into the housing, where it is connected to the power and control electronics of the charging device. The through-opening of the first and optionally of the second cover is sealed with respect to the respective charging cable.A method according to the invention for mounting a mobile charging device for charging an electric vehicle comprises the following steps:joining a first cover to a housing of a charge control device of the mobile charging device in such a way that the first cover closes a first access opening of the housing;filling an adhesive into a cavity through a fill opening, the cavity formed between a first mating surface of the housing and a second mating surface of the first lid and extending at least partially around the first access opening, the fill opening providing fluid communication to the cavity; displacing air from the cavity by filling the adhesive into the cavity, the air escaping from the cavity through a vent opening providing fluid communication to the cavity; andforming a firm and tight connection between the housing and the first cover by the adhesive. In this way, a method for assembling a mobile charging device is provided, in which the housing and the first cover can be configured with thin walls due to their adhesion, whereby installation space can be saved and the weight of the charging device can be reduced. Threads for screwing the housing and the first cover together, which require an increased wall thickness, are not required. As a result, during the assembly of the charging device, a corresponding screwing process with a predetermined torque to be set precisely and monitored is also dispensed with. A space-saving construction and simple assembly are additionally promoted in that the sealing adhesive does not require any additional sealing elements or sealing processes. The method preferably comprises the steps indicated in the order indicated. Individual method steps can also be carried out simultaneously or next to one another.Particularly preferably, the method according to the invention serves for mounting a mobile charging device according to the invention. All features and advantages described in connection with the mobile charging device according to the invention can therefore be transferred analogously to the method according to the invention and vice versa. The method can be easily automated. The method is therefore advantageously carried out by means of a machine, such as, for example, by means of a robot.Preferably, the joining of the first cover to the housing takes place by means of a joining device and, independently thereof, the filling of the adhesive into the cavity takes place by means of a filling device. Alternatively, the processes can also be carried out in a common device. The joining of the first cover to the housing preferably comprises the pressing of the first cover into the first access opening or the pressing of a portion of the housing surrounding the first access opening into the first cover. The joining device can be designed to grasp the first cover, to move the first cover into the region of the first access opening and to join the first cover to the housing, in particular to press it into the first access opening.Filling the adhesive into the cavity preferably comprises injecting the adhesive into the cavity. The filling device may comprise a nozzle for dispensing the adhesive, which nozzle is adapted to the filling opening. The filling device can be configured to attach the nozzle to the filling opening and to discharge or inject the adhesive into the cavity, in particular to discharge a predefined amount of adhesive into the cavity or to discharge adhesive into the cavity until adhesive exits the venting opening.Preferably, the method of joining the first lid to the housing comprises only joining the first lid to the housing and filling the adhesive into the cavity. These and other advantages and features of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic illustration of a preferred embodiment of a charging device according to the invention. FIG. 2 is a schematic perspective view of a housing of the charging device according to FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a lid of the charging device of FIG. 1. FIG. 4 is a sectional view of a portion of the charging device of FIG. 1.A mobile charging device 2 according to the invention for charging an accumulator or energy store of an electric vehicle 4 or of an electric car comprises a charging regulating device 6 for regulating charging parameters, a connection 8 on the grid side for connecting the charging device 2 to a power grid which is indicated by a socket 10 and a charging plug 12 for connecting the charging device 2 to a charging connection 14 of the electric vehicle 4. The connection 8 on the network side is connected to the charging control device 6 by means of a first charging cable 16, and the charging plug 12 is connected to the charging control device 6 by means of a second charging cable 18.The charging control device 6 comprises a housing 20, in which power and / or control electronics 22 of the mobile charging device 2 are accommodated and which has at least one first access opening 24. Furthermore, the charge control device 6 comprises a first cover 26 which closes the first access opening 24. The housing 20 can also have a second access opening 28, wherein the charge control device 6 then comprises a second cover 30, which closes the second access opening 28. This can be the case, for example, if the housing 20 and in particular the first and optional second access openings 24, 28 are formed symmetrically with respect to a central axis 32. Preferably, the first and optional second covers 26, 30 are then also configured symmetrically to the central axis 32.In a preferred embodiment, the housing 20 and the first cover 26, optionally also the second cover 30, are configured rotationally symmetrically with respect to the central axis 32, e.g. at least sectionally cylindrically. The first access opening 24 can then be arranged on a first end face 20 aof the housing 20 and the second access opening can be arranged on a second end face 20 bof the housing 20.The housing 20 can furthermore have a display 34 for displaying information about the charging process and at least one operating element 36 for enabling user inputs. The display 34 and the at least one operating element 36 are preferably connected in a communicating manner to the power and / or control electronics 22, in particular to a control unit of the charging control device 6.As is furthermore indicated in FIG. 1, the first charging cable 16 comprises at least one electrical line 38 for conducting electrical current from the connection 8 on the grid side to the charging control device 6 and the second charging cable 18 comprises at least one electrical line 40 for conducting electrical current from the charging control device 6 to the connection 12 on the load side. The first cover 26 can have a through opening 42 (see FIG. 2 ), through which the electrical line 38 of the first charging cable 16 is guided into the housing 20, where it is connected to the power and control electronics 22. If the second cover 30 is provided, it can likewise have a through opening, through which the electrical line 40 of the second charging cable 18 is guided into the housing 20, where said housing is connected to the power and control electronics 22.Each charging cable 16, 18 usually comprises a plurality of electrical lines 38, 40 for connecting the consumer-side connection 12 or the electric vehicle 4 and the network-side connection 8 to the charging control device 6, wherein in each case at least one line of the plurality of electrical lines 38, 40 serves as a control or signal line 44, 46 for the communicating connection between the consumer-side connection 12, the electric vehicle 4 or the network-side connection 10 and the charging control device 6.The housing 20 has a first joining surface 48 and the first cover 26 has a second joining surface 50, which face one another and which run around the first access opening 24, as described in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4. The first and second mating surfaces 48, 50 together define a cavity 52 that extends at least partially around the first access opening 24, which is filled with an adhesive that sealingly connects the first lid 26 to the housing 20, and which can be seen in FIG. 4.FIG. 2 schematically shows a detail of the housing 20 comprising the first access opening 24 in a perspective view. The housing 20 is in this case substantially cylindrical and is thereby rotationally symmetrical with respect to the central axis 32. The first access opening 24 is arranged here on the first end face 20 aof the housing 20 and is likewise symmetrical with respect to the central axis 32.Regardless of the exact shape of the housing 20, it has a (maximum) outer diameter D A and a length L in the longitudinal direction, which is also marked in FIG. 1.The housing 20 may include a collar 54 surrounding and defining the first access opening 24. The collar 54 then has the first joining surface 48. The portion of the housing 20 defining the first access opening 24 and having the first mating surface 48 need not be structurally distinct from the remainder of the housing 20. However, it is conceivable that this section and above all the first joining surface 48 is delimited from the remaining surfaces of the housing 20, for example, by steps in the housing 20, as indicated by the encircling line in FIG. 2 and can be seen in FIG. 4. However, the housing 20 can also have a flange on the end face 20 a, for example, which flange then has the first joining surface 48.In the embodiment shown, the first joining surface 48 is an inner circumferential surface of the housing 20 and preferably completely surrounds the first access opening 24. In this case, the first cover 26 is press-fitted into the first access opening 24. However, the first joining surface 48 can also be an outer circumferential surface and thus a part of the circumferential surface of the housing 20.The housing 20 further comprises, in the region of the first joining surface 48, at least one filling opening 56 for filling the adhesive into the cavity 52. In the embodiment shown, the at least one filling opening 56 extends radially with respect to the central axis 32 from an outer circumferential surface of the housing 20 to the inner circumferential surface of the housing 20 and opens into the first joining surface 48. as a result, the at least one filling opening 56 provides a fluid connection to the cavity 52 in the joined state of the housing 20 and of the first cover 26 (see FIG. 4 ). The at least one filling opening 56 has a diameter D F.In addition, the housing 20 has at least one vent opening 58 in the region of the first joining surface 48 for discharging air from the cavity 52. In the embodiment shown, the at least one vent opening 58 extends radially to the central axis 32 from the outer circumferential surface of the housing 20 to the inner circumferential surface of the housing 20 and opens into the first joining surface 48. as a result, the at least one vent opening 58 provides a fluid connection to the cavity 52 in the joined state of the housing 20 and of the first cover 26 (see FIG. 4 ). The at least one venting opening 58 has a diameter D E which is preferably smaller than the diameter D F of the at least one filling opening 56.In FIG. 3, the first cover 26 is shown in a perspective view. The first cover 26 has the second joining surface 50 and is in this case formed substantially rotationally symmetrically with respect to the central axis 32.The first cover 26 preferably has a connecting portion 60 for connection to the housing 20, which connecting portion has the second joining surface 50. For example, the connecting portion 60 is a collar corresponding to the collar 54 or flange of the housing 20. The first cover 26 can have the through opening 42 for passing through the electrical lines 38 of the first charging cable 16. The through-opening 42 is preferably formed coaxially with the central axis 32.In the embodiment shown, the second joining surface 50 is an outer circumferential surface of the first cover 26, in particular of the connecting portion 60 of the first cover 26, and preferably completely surrounds the first cover 26. In this case, the first cover 26 is pressed into the first access opening 24, for which purpose the connecting portion 60 corresponds in terms of shape and dimension to the first access opening 24. For example, a diameter D D of the first cover 26 at least in the connection portion 60 substantially corresponds to an inner diameter D I of the first access opening 24 (see FIG. 2 ).The first cover 26 can also have an end section 61 with an end face 61 afacing the end face 20 aof the housing. A diameter of the end portion 61 is preferably larger than the diameter D D of the connecting portion 60. It is conceivable that, in addition or as an alternative to the embodiment shown, the end face 20 aof the housing 20 has the first joining surface 48 and the end face 61 aof the end section 61 of the first cover 26 has the second joining surface 50.As indicated in FIG. 3 and described in more detail below with reference to FIG. 4, the second joining surface 50 may have a groove 62 for forming the cavity 52 between the first and second joining surfaces 48, 50. The groove 62 surrounds the first access opening 24 in the assembled state of the first cover 26 and the housing 20 preferably completely in order to form the completely circumferential cavity 52. Additionally or alternatively, the first joining surface 48 may have a groove.FIG. 4 shows a sectional view of the housing 20 and the first cover 26 in the region of the first and the second joining surfaces 48, 50. the first and the second joining surfaces 48, 50 together delimit the cavity 52 which is filled with adhesive. The groove 62 defines the cavity 52 on three sides by a bottom and left and right side surfaces of the groove 62, and the open side of the groove 62 is covered by the first joint surface 48 defining the cavity 52 on the fourth side. To fill the cavity 52 with the adhesive, the fill port 56 provides fluid communication to the cavity 52.The cavity 52 preferably completely surrounds the first access opening 24, i.e. is formed continuously in the circumferential direction of the first access opening 24 or of the housing 20 and of the first cover 26. The dimension of the cavity 52 is substantially determined by a width B H of the cavity 52 and a gap dimension S between the first and the second joining surface 48, 50. If one of the first and the second joining surface 48, 50 has the groove 62, the gap dimension S preferably corresponds to a depth of the groove 62 and the width B H corresponds to a width of the groove 62. the gap dimension S is preferably defined radially to the central axis 32 and the width B H is preferably defined parallel to the central axis 32.The housing 20 and the first cover 26 may form an overlap joint with a predefined overlap length U. This means that the first cover 26 is inserted into the first access opening 24 in such a way that the first cover 26 and the housing 20 overlap over the overlap length U, or vice versa. The overlap length U is greater than the width B H of the cavity 52.In addition, the first and the second joining surfaces 48, 50 are connected to one another in a force-fit manner in a contact region 64. This may be caused by an interference fit between the first mating surface 48 of the housing 20 and the second mating surface 50 of the first lid 26. In the illustrated embodiment, the interference fit would be defined between the diameter of the first lid D D and the inner diameter D I of the first access opening 24. The contact region 64 preferably completely surrounds the first access opening 24 and can be formed by the regions of the first and the second joining surface 48, 50 next to the cavity 52. As can be seen in FIG. 4, the contact region 64 is formed here by the regions of the first and the second joining surface 48, 50 which result from the difference of the overlap length U and the width B H of the cavity 52.Since the first cover 26 is pressed exclusively into the first access opening 24 and is bonded to the housing 20, a wall thickness W G of the housing 20 in the region of the first joining surface 48 and a wall thickness W D of the first cover 26 in the region of the second joining surface 50 can be selected to be small.List of reference numbers:2 Mobile charging device 4 Electric vehicle 6 Charging control device 8 Grid-side connection 10 Socket 12 Consumer-side connection 14 Charging connection 16 First charging cable 18 Second charging cable 20 Housing 22 Power and / or control electronics 24 First access opening 26 First cover 28 Second access opening 30 Second cover 32 Central axis 34 Display 36 Operating element 38 Electrical line 40 Electrical line 42 Through opening 44 Signal line 46 Signal line 48 First joining surface 50 Second joining surface 52 Cavity 54 Collar 56 Filling opening 58 Venting opening 60 Connecting section 61 Front section 62 Groove 64 Contact region D A Outer diameter Housing L Length Housing D I Inner diameter Access opening D F Diameter Filling opening D E Diameter Venting opening d D diameter lid B H width cavity S gap dimension U overlap length W G wall thickness housing W D wall thickness lid
