Abstract

The invention relates to a drive system (10) for a hydrogen-powered motor vehicle (12), comprising a fuel cell (14) or a hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine and at least one hydrogen storage device (16), by means of which, with the integration of hydrogen generation, the drive of the motor vehicle (12) can be controlled, wherein, for the purpose of conveying hydrogen to the fuel cell (14) or the hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine, the fuel cell (14) or the hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine and the hydrogen storage device (16) are fluidically connected to one another, wherein a quick-release clamping device (18) with a valve element (20) is arranged between the hydrogen storage device (16) and the fuel cell (14) or the hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine. The invention further relates to a method for operating such a drive system (10).

Claims

[1] Drive system (10) for a hydrogen-operated motor vehicle (12), comprising a fuel cell (14) or a hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine and at least one hydrogen storage device (16), by means of which a drive of the motor vehicle (12) can be controlled with the integration of hydrogen generation, wherein for the forwarding of hydrogen to the fuel cell (14) or a hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine, the fuel cell (14) or the hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine and the hydrogen storage device (16) are connected to one another in a flow-conducting manner, wherein a flow-conducting quick-action clamping device (18) with a valve element (20) is arranged between the hydrogen storage device (16) and the fuel cell (14) or the hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine for the forwarding of the hydrogen to the fuel cell (14) or the hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine, characterized bythat a plurality of hydrogen storage devices (16a, 16b, 16c) can be connected to the quick-action clamping device (18) in a flow-conducting manner and can be removed at once by means of an opening mechanism (22). [2] Drive system (10) according to claim 1, characterized by that the quick-release device (18) has a quick-release fastener (SSV) or a quick-release coupling (SSK). [3] Drive system (10) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by that the valve element (20) is designed as a pressure control valve or a bottle valve. [4] Drive system (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the quick-release device (18) has a change control system for minimizing the filling time and is designed to transmit the change information to a user. [5] Drive system (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized bythat a lever system (21) is provided for the flow-conducting connection to the at least one hydrogen storage device (16). [6] Drive system (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that individual hydrogen storage devices (16a, 16b, 16c) can be removed from the plurality of hydrogen storage devices (16a, 16b, 16c) which are connected in a flow-conducting manner to the quick-action clamping device (18). [7] Drive system (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that a line system (24) is arranged between the quick-action clamping device (18) and the fuel cell (14) or the hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine. [8] Method for operating a drive system (10) for a hydrogen-operated motor vehicle (12), in which a fuel cell (14) or a hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine is connected in a flow-conducting manner to a hydrogen storage device (16), and by means of which a drive of the motor vehicle (12) is controlled by incorporating hydrogen generation, and wherein hydrogen is guided from the hydrogen storage device (16) into the fuel cell (14) or the hydrogen drive / hydrogen engine by means of a quick-action clamping device (18) with a valve element (20) characterized by that a plurality of hydrogen storage devices (16a, 16b, 16c) are connected in a flow-conducting manner to the quick-action clamping device (18) and are removed at once by means of an opening mechanism (22).
