[19] Interchangeable insert (3) for use in a magazine well (1) for a self-loading firearm, wherein the magazine well (1) has a magazine housing (2) which is provided on its circumference with a recess (4) for the interchangeable insert (3) and has an axially extending receiving space (5) for a magazine of the self-loading firearm, wherein the interchangeable insert (3) comprises a pre-tensioned slide (12) which is displaceably mounted in the interchangeable insert (3) and via which a bolt catch lever (30) of the self-loading firearm can be axially acted upon.

System comprising an interchangeable insert (3) according to claim 19 and an adapter ring, the outer dimensions of which are adapted to the inner dimensions of the magazine shaft (1), in particular to its axial receiving space (5), wherein the interchangeable insert (3) and the adapter ring are colored in the same color.
