Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a hot water storage tank.A hot water storage device typically has a storage container and an electrically operated heating unit. The hot water storage device has a cold water connection as an input connection and a hot water connection as an output connection as well as electrical connections for the electrical heating unit.EP 3 315 872 A2 shows a hot water storage device with a storage container with a cold water connection as well as a hot water connection and an electrical heating flange. The electrical connections and the hot water connection and the cold water connection are provided in the lower region of the hot water reservoir and can be part of a heating flange. It is an object of the invention to provide a hot water storage tank with an improved spray protection. This object is achieved by a hot water storage device according to claim 1.Thus, hot water storage with a storage container, a cold water connection, a hot water connection, and an electrical connection tube is provided. The electrical connection space is formed by a storage container base made of plastic and by a cover made of plastic. At the transition between the storage base and the cover, a labyrinth is provided. The storage tray has first and second arms with a first recess therebetween, a second recess being provided at the end of the first recess. The cover has a web with a protrusion. The web can be introduced into the first recess and the projection can be introduced into the second recess. The labyrinth is formed by the first and second arms, the first and second recesses, and the inserted web and the protrusion. In one aspect, the protrusion is nose-shaped in cross section or configured as a circumferential lip.A hot water storage device with a storage container, a cold water connection, a hot water connection, and a heating flange with electrical contacts is thus provided. The hot water storage device has an electrical connection space in which the electrical contacts of the heating flange can be connected to an input current cable, for example, via connection terminals. The electrical connection space is formed by a storage container base made of plastic and by a cover made of plastic. The electrical connection space is accordingly formed by the plastic cover, the storage container base and a lower side of the heating flange. At the transition between the base and the cover, a labyrinth is provided in order to protect the electrical connection space from moisture. The cover has a base surface (underside) and a wall, the free end of which engages in the storage container base.Further embodiments of the invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims.Advantages and exemplary embodiments are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a hot water storage tank, FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of an electrical connection space of a hot water storage tank, FIG. 3 shows a schematic cross section in the region of an electrical connection space, FIG. 4 shows an enlarged schematic cross section in the region of an electrical connection space, and FIG. 5 shows a further enlarged schematic cross section of a labyrinth between the storage base and the cover.FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a hot water storage tank. The hot water storage device 10 has a storage container 100, an electrical connection space 200, a cold water connection 11, and a hot water connection 12. The hot water storage device 10 can be connected to an energy supply network via an electrical supply line 13. The electric connection space 200 may be provided at the lower end of the heat storage 10. The storage container 100 may be arranged on a storage floor 210 made of plastic. The storage floor 210 forms an upper end or the ceiling of the electric connection space 200, and the cover 200 made of plastic closes the electric connection space 200, for example, downward. The electrical connection space 200 is therefore substantially surrounded by a plastic housing.Optionally, a display 14 can be provided in the region of the electrical connection space 200. The display 14 may be connected to the storage floor 210.FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of an electrical connection space of a hot water storage tank. The hot water storage device 10 has a storage container 100 and an electrical connection space 200. The electric connection space 200 may be provided at the lower end of the heat storage 10. The storage container 100 may be arranged on a storage floor 210 made of plastic. The storage floor 210 forms an upper end or the ceiling of the electric connection space 200, and the cover 200 closes the electric connection space 200, for example, downward. In FIG. 2, the cover 220 is shown partially disassembled. The cover 220 may be fastened to the storage floor 210 or to a portion 210 aof the storage floor 210, for example, by means of screws 220 a. A display 14 may be provided on the portion 210 a. The portion 210 amay protrude from a plane of the storage floor 210. This is advantageous because it contributes to stabilization of the cover 220 in the assembled state.FIG. 3 shows a schematic cross section in the region of an electrical connection space. In FIG. 3, the storage container 100 and the electrical connection space 200 with the storage base 210 and the cover 220 are each made of plastic.FIG. 4 shows an enlarged schematic cross section in the region of an electrical connection space. In particular, a transition region between the storage floor 210 and the cover 220 is illustrated. The storage tray 210 has two downwardly pointing arms 211 and 212 which may be arranged substantially parallel and have a first recess 213 therebetween. At the end of the first recess 213, a second smaller recess 214 is provided. The cover 220 has a web 223, which can be introduced into the first recess 213. At the end of the web 223, a projection 224 of nose-shaped cross-section is provided. In the assembled state, the web 223 lies between the first and second arms 211 and 212 of the storage floor 210. Preferably, the thickness of the web 223 substantially corresponds to the inside width of the recess 213. The web 223 thus closes the recess 213 in the mounted state.Between the web 223 and an outer wall 220b a step 225 may be provided which may be adapted to the thickness of the first arm 211.Thus, a labyrinth may be provided between the storage floor 210 and the cover 220, which may prevent water or moisture from entering the electrical connection space 200 from the outside. Since water from the outside would have to pass between the end of the first arm 211 and the step 225, then between the inner side of the first arm 211 and the web 223, via the projection 224 having a nose-shaped cross section and the second recess 214, and finally between the web 223 and the second arm 212 into the interior of the electrical connection space 200. In particular, the nose-shaped projection at the end of the web 213 can reliably prevent water from entering the electrical connection space 200. This achieves a spray water resistance according to IP 25.FIG. 5 shows a further enlarged schematic cross section of a labyrinth between the storage base and the cover. The storage tray 210 has two downwardly facing arms 211 and 212 which are arranged substantially parallel and have a first recess 213 therebetween. The web 223 thus closes the recess 213 in the mounted state.Between the web 223 and an outer wall 220b a step 225 may be provided which may be adapted to the thickness of the first arm 211.References included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
