Description

The present invention relates to a circuit breaker having a contact device in which, in a contact-on position, there is an electrical connection between two contact elements and in which, in a contact-off position, there is no electrical connection between the two contact elements. In addition, the circuit breaker has a closing device with a transmission element, by means of which the contact device can be moved from the contact-off position into the contact-on position, and a triggering device. In particular, the protective switching device should be suitable for mounting on top hat rails. The circuit breakers may be miniature circuit breakers (MCB), residual current operated circuit breakers (FI), combined circuit breakers such as residual current line breakers (RCBO), and the like. In such safety switching devices for hat rail mounting, the mechanism is typically designed such that the actuation (switching on / off) is carried out by a handle which rotates about an axis. This rotational actuation drives the mechanism (latch) and closes or opens the contacts.Such rotatable handles on the circuit breakers require a certain amount of space for an operator to operate the handle with his fingers. However, in certain installation situations, this space is not always available. If the protective switching devices are installed deep in a switchgear cabinet, for example, it may not easily be possible to switch over the respective handles in the desired manner. From the patent specification DD 1 57 742 A1 a latch for switching devices, in particular for motor circuit breakers, the movable contacts of which can be actuated by means of a switch-on button and a switch-off pushbutton, is known. Furthermore, the publications DE 87 10 812 U1 and U.S. Pat. No. 4,864,268 A disclose pushbutton-operable overcurrent protection switches with manual, thermal and / or electromagnetic triggering. The object of the present invention is thus to make possible a comfortable operation of a circuit breaker even in the case of restricted installation conditions.According to the invention, this object is achieved by a circuit breaker according to claim 1. Advantageous further developments of the circuit breaker are evident from the dependent claims.According to the present invention, a circuit breaker device is accordingly provided, in particular for mounting top-hat rails. It has a contact device in which an electrical connection of two contact elements is provided in a contact-on position. The contact-on position corresponds to a switched-on position in which the contact elements are electrically connected and the protective switching device is switched on therewith. Moreover, the contact device can be in a contact-off position in which there is no electrical connection between the two contact elements. The protective switching device is accordingly switched off and no current can flow between the contacts. In addition, the circuit breaker has a closing device, having a first (optionally rigid) transmission element, by means of which the contact device can be moved from the contact-off position into the contact-on position. The closing device thus has a first transmission element, which may be rigid per se. The adjective "rigid" refers in the present document to the shape of the respective transmission element, but not to its entire mobility. The rigid transmission elements are therefore elements with a rigid shape, which, however, are moved entirely relative to other elements. For example, the transmission element is a rod or a specially shaped solid structure. With the transmission element, the contact device can optionally also be moved vice versa from the contact-off position into the contact-on position. For this purpose, an electrically conductive bridging element is usually moved with the (rigid) transmission element in order to short-circuit or electrically separate the two contact elements from one another.Furthermore, the circuit breaker has a triggering device, by means of which it is usually possible to automatically open the circuit breaker, for example in the event of fault current or overcurrent. The triggering device has, for example, a lifting magnet which electromagnetically moves a plunger.According to the invention, it is provided that the circuit breaker has a second (optionally rigid) transmission element which is connected to the first connecting element via a first joint. The second (rigid) transmission element can be, for example, a rocker element which rockers or can be pivoted on the first joint. The second transmission element or rocker element therefore has, for example, on both sides of the joint, in each case one arm which interacts with a further element.Furthermore, the circuit breaker has a third (optionally rigid) transmission element which is connected to the second transmission element via a second joint and has a pushbutton at its free end (end opposite the second joint). For example, the second joint therefore connects an arm of the rocker-shaped second transmission element to an end of the third rigid transmission element. The push button serves for manual actuation of the protective switching device. The push button can be used to actuate the protective switching device linearly. Pressure can be applied to the push button with a finger, whereby the third rigid transmission element is moved in the direction of pressure. If necessary, the pushbutton is guided linearly in a housing of the circuit breaker device. The guidance can, however, also be effected indirectly via the third transmission element. The second joint can be held stably in a joint-on position by means of a first link and can be moved into a joint-off position by means of the first link. The first link thus serves to restrict the degrees of freedom of the second joint in the desired manner. For example, the second joint has a pin or guide pin which is guided in the slotted link. The slotted link can have different paths. For example, the second joint is guided from the joint-off position into the joint-on position on a different path than when moving from the joint-on position into the joint-off position. If appropriate, the paths also overlap partially. Under certain circumstances, however, the link also has only a single path. The slotted link can be designed as a slot-slotted link, in which the (optionally closed) slotted link path is designed as a slot. A corresponding pin of the second joint can then be guided in the groove. An end portion or free end of the third transmission member with the push button opposite to the second link makes a linear movement when the second link is moved from the link-off position to the link-on position. The end portion, at which the free end of the third rigid transmission element is located, carries the push button. Thus, the end portion with the push button performs a linear movement when the second hinge is moved from the hinge-off position to the hinge-on position and vice versa. It is thus possible to transmit a linear pressure movement by means of the third rigid transmission element to the second transmission element (e.g. rocker).A portion of the second transmission element diametrically opposite the second joint with respect to the first joint can be fixed by the triggering device in a portion-off position and in a portion-on position. The portion of the second transmission element diametrically opposite the second joint with respect to the first joint is, for example, the other arm of the rocker element which is not connected to the third transmission element. This further arm of the rocker element or generally the corresponding section of the second transmission element can be restricted in its freedom of movement by the triggering device. For example, the triggering device can restrict the movement of the second transmission element by a corresponding form fit. In particular, it can thereby prevent the second transmission element from unintentionally sliding from the section-off position into the section-on position. For example, a magnetically movable plunger of a lifting magnet of the triggering device can prevent or allow the mentioned movement. Only in the section-on position would it then be possible for an operator to move the closing device for closing the contact device by pressing the pushbutton. For this purpose, the pressing movement of the pushbutton is transmitted via the third transmission element to the second transmission element and from there to the first transmission element. The latter is part of the closing device and can move a bridging element of the contact device for closing the contacts. Thus, a linear movement can be used in an advantageous manner to switch the circuit breaker on or off.In one exemplary embodiment, it is provided that by linear movement of the pushbutton, the second joint is moved linearly from the joint-off position into the joint-on position. The linear movement of the push button is thus converted into a linear movement of the joint, whereby practically no energy is lost. Such a conversion can be realized reliably by the third transmission element.According to a further exemplary embodiment, the first transmission element of the closing device is exclusively linearly movable, so that the contact device carries out a linear movement between contact-on position and contact-off position. For example, the first rigid transmission element together with a bridging element of the contact device produces a T-shaped structure. This structure may be rigid in itself and linearly moved along the central portion. When the T-shaped structure is raised, the contacts are opened and when lowered, the contacts are closed. The linear movement of the contact device can be generated by the linear movement of the push button in that the second transmission element forms a lever. Depending on the lever effect, the force on the pushbutton for the contact device can thus be increased accordingly.Alternatively, it is provided that the first transmission element of the closing device is pivotable, and the contact device has a shaft which is hinged to the first transmission element and which is set in rotational movement in the direction of the contact-on position or contact-off position when the first transmission element is pivoted. For example, a bridging element is attached to the rotatable shaft, which bridging element is rotatable with the shaft in different rotational positions. A first rotational position then corresponds, for example, to the contact-on position and a second rotational position corresponds to the contact-off position. By rotating the bridging element, the contacts of the contact device are electrically connected or disconnected. In this case, the first transmission element can be pivotably fastened to the shaft, such that a linear movement of the first joint of the second transmission element can be converted into a rotational movement of the shaft. In a further exemplary embodiment, it is provided that the first joint moves linearly in a second link when the first transmission element of the closing device moves the contact device from the contact-on position into the contact-off position. In particular, the second link can only allow a movement of the first joint in the main extension direction of the first transmission element. The two extreme positions in the linear link can be assumed by the first joint in the off position and in the on position of the protective switching device. In a further exemplary embodiment, it is provided that a first spring is arranged on the first (rigid) transmission element and, in the section-on position of the section of the second rigid transmission element, the contact device presses into the contact-on position via the first (rigid) transmission element. In particular, the first spring can be tensioned in the switched-on position of the circuit breaker (contact device in contact-on position and section of the second transmission element in section-on position), while it is relaxed in the switched-off position of the circuit breaker (section of the second transmission element in section-off position). In this context, "relaxed" can also be understood to mean a state which corresponds to a lighter tension than in the "tensioned" state (i.e. not fully relaxed).Furthermore, a second spring can be arranged on the second joint, which biases the latter in the joint-on position in the direction of the linear movement. This means that in the joint-on position a force is exerted on the second joint by means of the second spring, and this force can be used, for example, by means of the first link to hold the second joint in position (joint-on position). In particular, the second spring can also generate the force that resets the pushbutton or counteracts a manually exerted pressure.Furthermore, a third spring can be arranged on the third (rigid) transmission element, said third spring biasing said third transmission element perpendicular to a direction of the linear movement. For example, the push button including the third transmission member is linearly moved downward. The third spring engages the third transmission element and exerts a force perpendicular to the linear movement or the third transmission element. For this purpose, the third spring need not be arranged perpendicular to the third transmission element. Rather, it is sufficient if a component of the force of the third spring is perpendicular to the linear movement or perpendicular to the third rigid transmission element. This allows a suitable slotted guide to be achieved. In a further exemplary embodiment, it is provided that a stop is arranged in the section of the second rigid transmission element, on which stop the section is pressed when the triggering device is in a triggered state. This means, for example, that the free end of the rocker element (second transmission element) has been released by the triggering device and therefore requires a defined stop in order to restrict its range of movement. In this way, the movement of the second joint can be transmitted to the first joint in a defined manner.According to a further embodiment, in a blocking state, the releasing device blocks the second transmission element in a section-off position, so that the contact-on position is not accessible to the contact device. For example, the free section of the second transmission element is held between the stop and a plunger of the triggering device. In this blocking position, for example, a bridging element of the contact device fastened to the first transmission element does not reach the contact elements even when the pushbutton is fully pressed and the second joint is in the joint-on position. This can prevent the protective switching device from being unintentionally switched on again. In another exemplary embodiment, it is provided that the first link has a first, second, third and fourth groove section which are arranged one behind the other and form a closed groove (fourth groove section opens into first), wherein the first groove section runs in a direction of the linear movement of the pushbutton or second spring, the second groove section adjoins the first groove section at a first connection point and forms a local extreme value with respect to a direction of the linear movement of the pushbutton for the joint installation at a second connection point with the third groove section, and the fourth groove section is connected to the third groove section at a third connection point and to the first groove section at a fourth connection point. The four groove sections of the link thus define a closed path which the second joint executes when the protective switching device is switched on and switched off again. In particular, the second joint moves on a different path of the link when switching on than when switching off. When the circuit breaker is switched on, the second joint first moves from one end (joint-off position) of the first groove portion to the other end of the first groove portion. Subsequently, the second joint, optionally driven by spring force, moves into the second groove section. This forms, for example, with the adjoining third groove section an angle, the corner point of which forms a local extreme value (e.g. local maximum) with respect to the direction of the linear movement of the push button or second tongue. Since the push button including the third transmission member is pressed by, for example, the second spring in the direction of linear movement, the second joint is pressed to the second joint (on position) between the second and third groove portions. There, the second joint remains without external influence. When the push button is pressed again, the second joint travels along the third groove portion from the joint on position to the third joint. Subsequently, the second joint moves via the fourth groove section back to the fourth connection point on the first groove section and, if appropriate, further there into a bag section of the first groove section (joint-off position). By means of this first slotted link, a stable switched-on state and a stable switched-off state of the protective switching device can be achieved. The fourth groove portion of the first link may be arcuate. The second joint can thus initially record a resetting of the pushbutton and then use the corresponding genetic energy, if appropriate against the spring force of the second spring, in order to enter the joint-off position or the switch-off position of the circuit breaker device. As already indicated above, a connecting point between the first and fourth groove sections is optionally not located at one end of the first groove section. In this case, a bag section results at the end of the first groove section, in which bag section the groove ends. There, a stable joint-off position (switch-off position of the circuit breaker device) can be realized. In a further exemplary embodiment, it is provided that the first, second and third groove portions are each straight, and the first and second groove portions are arranged at an acute angle to one another. These straight groove sections ensure a low mechanical resistance, so that the second joint can be pushed through the link with little force. The acute angle ensures that the pushbutton advantageously returns haptically after reaching the lowest point before it reaches the latching point or the joint-on position. In a further exemplary embodiment, the first and second connection points are at the same level with respect to the direction of the linear movement. This has the advantage that, for example, the pushbutton must first assume the same deepest position in a haptically perceptible manner for assuming the on position as when leaving the on position. For use cases or application situations which can arise in the method and which are not explicitly described here, provision can be made for an error message and / or a request for inputting a user feedback to be output and / or for a default setting and / or a predetermined initial state to be set according to the method.Regardless of the grammatical sex of a certain term, individuals with male, female or other sex identity are included. The present invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 shows a schematic view of an exemplary embodiment of a protective switching device with a pushbutton in the switched-on position; FIG. 2 shows the protective switching device of FIG. 1 in the released switch-off position; FIG. 3 shows the protective switching device in the switched-off position; FIG. 4 shows the protective switching device in the blocking position; FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of a link for the second joint; FIG. 6 shows a schematic view of a contact device with rotatable bridging element in the switched-on position; FIG. 7 shows the contact device of FIG. 6 in the switch-off position; and FIG. 8 shows a schematic diagram of a multipolar circuit breaker with a push button. The exemplary embodiments described in more detail below represent preferred embodiments of the present invention.FIG. 1 schematically shows an exemplary embodiment of a circuit breaker with a pushbutton. The circuit breaker has a contact device 1 which in turn has two contact elements 2. The two contact elements 2 can be short-circuited with a bridging element 3 of the contact device 1. For this purpose, the bridging element 3 touches both contact elements 2. In the present example, the bridging element 3 is movable in the vertical direction (y direction). In addition, the circuit breaker has a closing device 4 with a first, optionally rigid transmission element 5. In the present example, it is (fixedly) connected at one end to the bridging element 3. If the first transmission element 5 makes a movement in the y direction, for example, the bridging element 3 makes (substantially) the same movement.Optionally, the first transmission element 5 is length-compressible. For this purpose, the first transmission element 5 can have a first spring 6, which applies the corresponding contact force in the contact-on position of the bridging element 3. For example, the spring force also acts in the y-direction.A first joint 7 is located on the end of the first transmission element 5 opposite the bridging element 3, the first joint 7 connecting the first transmission element 5 to a second transmission element 8. For this purpose, it has two opposing arms 81 and 82. The first joint 7 is located, for example, in the middle of the two arms 81 and 82. This second link or its guide path 9 can extend linearly in the y direction. In the switched-on position of FIG. 1, the first joint 7 is located at the lower end (at least in the lower half) of the second link 9.At an end portion of the arm 81 of the second transmission member 8, there is a second shaft 10 and the second transmission member 8 is rotatably connected to an end portion of a third transmission member 11 through the second shaft 10. The third transmission element 11 can be rigid in itself, like the second transmission element 8, and can be formed, for example, by a rod or a lever. Purely by way of example, the third transmission element runs vertically in its longitudinal direction, i.e. in the y direction. At the end of the third transmission element 11 opposite the second joint 10, a pushbutton 12 is located, which is guided vertically and movable, for example, in a housing 32. Preferably, the push button 12 is pivotally connected to the third transmission member 11.A pin or guide pin of or on the second joint 10 is guided by a first slotted link 13. In FIG. 5, this first link 13 is shown in perspective in one embodiment. The first slotted link 13 is illustrated purely by way of example in FIG. 5 and can also assume other shapes. It is only important that the link ensures a stable joint-on position 14 and a stable joint-off position 15, in which the protective switching device is correspondingly located in the switched-on position or the switched-off position. For this purpose, the exemplary first slotted link 13 has a groove which is closed on itself and consists of four successively arranged groove portions: first groove portion 16, second groove portion 17, third groove portion 18 and fourth groove portion 19. Thus, a first joint 20 connects the first groove portion 16 to the second groove portion 17, a second joint 21 (corresponding to joint-on position 14) connects the third groove portion 18 to the second groove portion 17, a third joint 22 connects the fourth groove portion 19 to the third groove portion 18 and a fourth joint 23 connects the first groove portion 16 to the fourth groove portion 19.The first groove section 16 extends vertically (y direction) here and has a bag section 24 at its end opposite the first connection point 20.The first connection point 20, the second connection point 21 and the third connection point 22 here form, by way of example, an isosceles triangle. The tip of this triangle, namely the second connection point 21, lies at the top in the y-direction.The fourth groove section 19 extends in an arc shape from the third connection point 22 to the fourth connection point 23. the four groove sections 16, 17, 18 and 19 form a closed path which the second joint 10 can complete from the joint-off position 15 to the joint-on position 14 and back again to the joint-off position 15.As can be seen in conjunction with FIG. 5, the second joint 10 is located in the first link 13 in the joint-on position 14.In extension to the third transmission element 11, a second spring 25 is arranged symbolically here, which counteracts a force exerted on the pushbutton 12. It also provides for a return of the pushbutton 12 and holds the second joint 10 in the joint-on position 14 and in the joint-off position 15, respectively.Furthermore, a third spring 26 is arranged laterally on the third transmission element 11, which spring can exert a force component perpendicularly (negative x direction) on the third transmission element 11 and thus also on the joint 10. This third spring 26 ensures that the second joint 10 is pressed further into the third groove section 18 at the lower end of the first groove section 16, i.e. at the first connection point 20 into the second groove section 17 and after leaving the joint-on position 14. Thus, the second hinge 10 needs to use the fourth groove portion 19 for returning to the hinge-off position 15, whereby the second hinge 10 performs a closed path as a whole. As will be shown below, the actuation of the mechanism (latch) for closing and opening the contact elements 2 takes place by the single pushbutton 12.At the free end of the arm 82 of the second transmission element 8, which is on the right in FIG. 1, there is a triggering device 27, which has, for example, a lifting magnet 28 and a plunger 29 movable therewith. The plunger 29 is movable in the x direction, for example. In the extended state, the plunger 29 blocks, for example, a vertical movement (y direction) of the free end of the arm 82 of the second transmission element 8, In the switched-on position of the circuit breaker device according to FIG. 1, the plunger 29 prevents, for example, a movement of the arm 82 upwards, for which reason the first joint 7 assumes a low position, such that the bridging element 3 can be pressed onto the contact elements 2 when the pushbutton 12 is pressed downwards (negative y direction). Moreover, the circuit breaker has a stop 30 vertically above the plunger 29, and the second arm 82 of the second transmission element 8 may be locked between the stop 30 and the plunger 29 (see FIG. 4 ).For switching on the circuit breaker, the push button 12 presses the second transmission element 8 (rocker) downward via the third transmission element 11 against the contact force of the first spring 6. The contact points are thus closed and an electrical connection is produced between the contact elements 2.During this movement sequence, a guide pin of the second joint 10 is pressed downward in the first slotted link 13 and then by a force of the third spring 26 to the left into the joint-on position 14. The pushbutton 12 is thus secured and cannot move upwards again into the starting position (switch-off position). The plunger 29 of the lifting magnet 28 prevents the rocker or the second transmission element from rotating.FIG. 2 shows the circuit breaker of FIG. 1 in a triggered state. The protective switching device is accordingly in a switched-off position. The individual components have already been explained in connection with FIG. 1, so that here, as well as in connection with FIGS. 3 and 4, a new detailed description can be dispensed with.As in the switched-on position of FIG. 1, here too the pushbutton 12 is in an on position with respect to the housing 32. The triggering device 27 has triggered, for example, on the basis of a fault current or an excess current and has retracted the plunger 29, for example. As a result, the right arm 82 of the second transmission element 8 is no longer held in the lower position by the plunger 29 but is pressed up towards the stop 30. As a result, the rocker, i.e. the second transmission element 8, tilts and the second joint 10 is pressed in the link 13 from the joint-on position 14 to the third connection point 22 (compare FIG. 5 ). At the same time, the first joint 7 moves upward in the second link 9 (e.g. into the upper half of the link 9). The first transmission element 5 thus also moves upward (y direction), so that the contact device opens up. This means that the contact device or the bridging element 3 is in the contact-off position in which the two contact elements 2 are no longer connected to one another.By actuating the lifting magnet 28 into its off position, the locking between lifting magnet 28 and rocker (second transmission element 8) is opened and thus the force of the first spring 6 can act and opens the contact points of the contact device 1. Thus, the push button 12 can be pushed up to the off position by the force of the second spring 25. The triggering can also take place, however, when the push button 12 is blocked.FIG. 3 shows the protective switching device in a switched-off position. This means that the circuit breaker is turned off and the push button 12 is pushed upward (y direction) out of the housing 32. This task is accomplished by the second spring 25, which is now in the relaxed state. During this upward pressing, the second joint 10 or its guide pin has moved from the third connection point 22 through the fourth section 19 into the blind section 24 of the first groove section 16 and is now in the joint-off position 15 (see FIG. 5 ). In this case, the left arm 81 of the second transmission element 8 has also moved upwards, just like the first joint 7. The first joint 7 is thereby located at the upper end or the upper half of the second link 9. the contact device 1 remains unchanged from the triggered state of FIG. 2 in the contact-off position, so that the contact elements 2 are not connected to one another. The right arm 82 of the second transmission element 8 also remains on the stop 30.The protective switching device is switched off manually from the switched-on position of FIG. 1 by depressing the pushbutton 12 again, and the third transmission element 11 is thereby pressed to the left by the force of the third spring 26. As a result, the guide pin or the second joint 10 is pressed out of the latching point (joint-on position 14) in the guide slot 13 and can run upward in the guide slot 13 along the fourth groove section 19. Thus, the contact elements 2 are opened by the force of the first spring 6.FIG. 4 shows the protective switching device in its blocking position. The extended plunger 29 of the triggering device 27 prevents the right arm 82 of the rocker or of the second transmission element 8 from being able to move downward. As a result, the second joint 10 or its guide pin in the first slotted link 13 (guide slotted link) cannot reach the first connecting point 20. Consequently, the second transmission element 8, including the first joint 7 and the first transmission element 5, remains too high, so that the contact device 1 cannot be closed. Thus, when the lifting magnet 28 is moved from its off position into the on position (plunger extended, i.e. on the left) in the off position of the circuit breaker device, the contact elements 2 are prevented from closing. The push button 12 can be pressed, but the path is not sufficient to close the contacts.FIG. 6 shows an alternative exemplary embodiment in which the contacting device 1' is designed with a shaft 31. The bridging element 3 is fixedly connected to the shaft 31 and is thus rotatable. In FIG. 6, the contact device 1' is in an on position, i.e. in a contact on position. This means that the two contact elements 2 are short-circuited by the bridging element 3.The first transmission element 5 is arranged eccentrically on the shaft 31. Therefore, a linear up-down movement of the first joint 7 (not shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 ) can be converted into a rotational movement of the shaft 31.In FIG. 7, the contact device 1' is in the off position, i.e. the contact off position. The shaft 31 is rotated, and therefore the bridging element 3 is displaced from the contact elements 2. The contact elements 2 are no longer short-circuited and the protective switching device is in the off position. This contact-off position of the contact device 1' would also assume the latter in the triggered state according to FIG. 2, in the switched-off state according to FIG. 3 and in the blocked state according to FIG. 4.The mechanism according to the invention of the circuit breaker with pushbutton can be used not only for single-pole devices but also for multipolar devices (e.g. four-pole devices) according to FIG. 8. In FIG. 8, an example of a four-pole device is shown. Four bridging elements 3 are fastened to the shaft 31, which bridging elements can be rotated with the shaft 31 to the corresponding contact elements 2. The bridging mechanism results from the preceding exemplary embodiments. In contrast to the previous exemplary embodiments, in the example of FIG. 8, the lifting magnet 28 or the plunger 29 is arranged transversely to the rocker or to the second transmission element 8. However, the mode of operation remains the same. The above embodiments show how a circuit breaker according to the invention can be equipped with a push button so as to reduce the operating space for the circuit breaker.List of reference characters1 Contact device 2 Contact element 3 Bridging element 4 Closing device 5 First transmission element 6 First spring 7 First joint 8 Second transmission element 9 Second link 10 Second joint 11 Third transmission element 12 Pushbutton 13 First link 14 Joint on position 15 Joint off position 16 First groove section 17 Second groove section 18 Third groove section 19 Fourth groove section 20 First connection point 21 Second connection point 22 Third connection point 23 Fourth connection point 24 Blind section 25 Second spring 26 Third spring 27 Triggering device 28 Lifting magnets 29 Plunger 30 Stop 31 Shaft 32 Housing
