Description

[0001] The invention relates to a vehicle, in particular a special protection vehicle, with a privacy screen device.

[0002] Special protection vehicles are vehicles designed to protect occupants or cargo from external attacks through integrated armor.

[0003] DE 43 38 650 C1 describes a smoke grenade launcher system for an armored vehicle, comprising several differently oriented grenade cups arranged in a three-dimensional fan shape to form a single launcher unit that can be adjusted vertically and laterally. This system is designed to be camouflaged to reduce the vehicle's radar detectability. Furthermore, it is intended to allow for both directed, single shots and overall firing. Protected reloading is also a requirement. To achieve these specifications, the launcher unit is laterally mounted on a roof hatch of the vehicle, which can be pivoted about a horizontal axis via adjustable angles. The roof hatch is located on the side of the hatch that is inside the vehicle when closed. Specifically, the roof hatch is positioned laterally adjacent to the driver's seat in the front of the vehicle.

[0004] In DE 10 2023 000 924, to solve the problem of making sportiness associatable, it is proposed to provide a fog machine in a vehicle with at least one lighting element which is designed to emit light into an area located under or to the side of the underbody of the vehicle, which is designed to release fog via at least one fog outlet into an area located under or to the side of the underbody of the vehicle, in order to create targeted impressive visual effects through light and fog.

[0005] One object of the invention is to equip vehicles with a privacy screen in order to make possible attacks on the vehicle more difficult.

[0006] The problem is solved according to the invention by a vehicle with the features of claim 1.

[0007] To solve the problem, it is proposed that, in the case of a vehicle, in particular a special protection vehicle, which includes a privacy screen, the privacy screen shall have at least one fog generator and distribution lines connected to the at least one fog generator, the ends of which shall have outlet openings which are arranged on the vehicle in such a way that, when the fog generator is in operation, the vehicle is concealed from the view of third parties by the release of fog from the outlet openings of the distribution lines.

[0008] The solution according to the invention makes it possible to obscure the vehicle, i.e., to envelop it in a cloud of fog or to make it disappear behind a wall of fog, thereby impairing the visibility of a potential attacker, making targeted attacks on the occupants of the vehicle, for example by firearms, more difficult and enabling the vehicle to leave its location more easily.

[0009] Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

[0010] In one embodiment of the invention, for example, the distribution lines may be hoses. The distribution lines may, for example, have diffusers at the outlet openings designed for the large-area distribution of mist.

[0011] It may be advantageous to provide that the at least one fog generator for the selective emission of fog can only be controlled via a selectable subset of the outlet openings.

[0012] The at least one fog generator can have a refillable reservoir for receiving a fog fluid, which is directed via distribution lines to the outside of the vehicle body to generate fog in which at least one fog generator evaporates, and is then released into the surroundings of the vehicle through outlet openings.

[0013] It can be advantageous to arrange the reservoir near another reservoir for a vehicle operating fluid. This could be, for example, a reservoir for engine coolant or a reservoir for windshield washer fluid. For instance, the fog fluid reservoir could be located in the vehicle's engine compartment so that it is quickly and easily accessible for refilling.

[0014] An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to a drawing.

[0015] This shows: Fig. 1 A schematic top view of a vehicle according to the invention.

[0016] The vehicle 100 has a body 110 and an engine compartment 120 therein. The vehicle 100 also has a privacy screen 200, which includes at least one fog generator 210 and distribution lines 230 connected to the at least one fog generator 210, the ends of which have outlet openings 240.

[0017] In the engine compartment 120 of the body 110 of the vehicle 100, at least one fog generator 210 is arranged, which further has a reservoir 220 for a fog fluid, for example a mixture of water and propylene glycol or glycerin.

[0018] The distribution lines 230 lead from at least one fog generator 210 to various points on the bodywork 110, where they open into outlet openings 240, which are equipped with diffusers 250 designed for the large-area distribution of fog 300.

[0019] If the danger of an attack on the vehicle 100 is detected, at least one fog generator 210 is activated, which then draws fog fluid from the reservoir 220, vaporizes it, and feeds it into the distribution lines 230. The fog 300 is transported through the distribution lines 230 to the outlet openings 240 and released there into the vicinity of the vehicle 100, so that the vehicle 100 is enveloped in a cloud of fog 300 within a very short time and is thus hidden from the attacker's view.
