Device to support the installation of wall-hung toilets

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for supporting the installation of wall-hung toilets, with which a wall-hung toilet can be positioned in the intended mounting position on a wall and then firmly attached to the wall with the special fastening means. The object of the invention is therefore to create a new device to support the installation of wall-hung toilets, which is simple in design and enables the installation of wall-hung toilets by only one person and is also universal. The solution to the problem is a device for supporting the installation of wall-hung toilets, wherein the device is formed from a mounting block made essentially of cardboard, which has a cavity on the top side for receiving a drain elbow of the wall-hung toilet and a surrounding shelf for the underside of the wall-hung toilet, wherein the height of the mounting block is adapted to the mounting height of the wall-hung toilet.

Description

[0001] The invention relates to a device for supporting the installation of wall-hung toilets, with which a wall-hung toilet can be positioned in the intended mounting position on a wall and then firmly attached to the wall with the special fastening means.

[0002] Currently, wall-hung toilets are usually installed by two people or with the assistance of mechanical lifting devices. These are often made of metal or plastic and are expensive to purchase and bulky to handle.

[0003] Furthermore, state-of-the-art lifting devices are heavy, which makes transport and storage disadvantageous.

[0004] The object of the invention is therefore to create a new device to support the installation of wall-hung toilets, which is simple in design and enables the installation of wall-hung toilets by only one person and is also universal.

[0005] The solution to the problem results from a device for supporting the installation of wall-hung toilets according to claim 1, which reads as follows: Device for supporting the installation of wall-hung toilets, characterized in that the device is formed from a mounting block made essentially of cardboard, which has a cavity on the top side for receiving a drain elbow of the wall-hung toilet and a surrounding shelf for the underside of the wall-hung toilet, wherein the height of the mounting block is adapted to the mounting height of the wall-hung toilet.

This has the advantage that the mounting block then provides a certain degree of protection for the sensitive wall-hung toilet within the transport box.

[0012] In summary, the advantages of the device according to the invention for supporting the installation of wall-hung toilets are, firstly, that ergonomically advantageous, only one installer can precisely mount the toilet at the desired height on the wall without great physical effort, thus making the entire installation process more efficient.

[0013] Furthermore, the device according to the invention for supporting the installation of wall-hung toilets can be implemented at low cost, since the mounting block consists of a cardboard product that is inexpensive to manufacture and can be disposed of at low cost.

[1] Device to assist in the installation of wall-hung toilets (15), characterized by , that the device is formed from a mounting block (10) made essentially of cardboard, which has a cavity (14) on the top side for receiving a drain bend (18) of the wall-hung toilet (15) and a surrounding support surface (19) for the bottom side (20) of the wall-hung toilet (15), wherein the height of the mounting block (10) is adapted to the mounting height of the wall-hung toilet (15).
