Description
The present invention relates to a module for maintaining food passengers. The present invention also relates to its use and to a corresponding motor vehicle.Prior ArtVarious approaches for integrating entertainment modules are known in motor vehicle technology. In particular, in the segment of higher-class vehicles, it is common to maintain rear passengers with audio-visual media. The so-called rear-seat entertainment systems have been implemented in a wide variety of designs. Typically, they comprise screens that are fixedly integrated into or attached to the rear sides of the front seats.US 6 926 329 B2 discloses the subject matter of the preamble of claim 1.A vehicle display system according to DE 10 2017 116 209 A1 provides a display device in a motor vehicle which is provided with a plurality of seating positions and a ceiling interior cladding. The vehicle display system includes a display device, a display device mounting device mounted on the display device, the mounting bracket having a pair of pins, each of the pins being perpendicular to the other, and a plurality of mounting positions provided on the headliner of the motor vehicle. The display device is seen by one or any combination of a rearward facing occupant in the second row of seats, a forward facing occupant in the second row of seats, and a forward facing occupant in a third row of seats.DE 10161476 A1 and WO 2008153523 A1 each disclose a rear display which is articulated on a roof structure via a pivot axis and can be folded onto the roof lining.DE 10226453 C1 and WO 2008086109 A2 each show a rear display which is linked via a pivot axis to a module carrier linked laterally to the roof frame and can be folded onto the latter.DE 102016225745 A1 describes a rear display which extends over the entire roof width and is articulated laterally on the roof frame and can be folded onto the roof lining.US 2022 / 0 176 888 A1 describes a rear display which is articulated via a pivot axis to a cross member of a roof frame and can be folded onto the roof lining.US 2023 / 0 406 225 A1 discloses a rear display which is fastened to a roof structure.Disclosure of the InventionOne problem is the lack of flexibility and flexibility of existing rear seat entertainment systems. The permanently installed or only limitedly adjustable displays do not always provide optimum visibility for each seat in the rear. In particular in vehicles such as Coupé SUVs with demanding interior geometry, the requirements of the rear passenger for individual and comfortable entertainment cannot be fulfilled satisfactorily.Another problem is the integration of entertainment systems into the vehicle structure. Not all solutions can be integrated without problems into the various roof variants, such as a glass roof or fixed roof. Often, different vehicle concepts require different entertainment systems, which results in an increase in cost and complexity in production, assembly, and inventory.In addition, because of their complexity, existing systems often require multiple drive motors for moving the displays, which in turn increases installation space, weight and costs. A simplified mechanism that ensures reliable operation with fewer components would therefore be desirable.A further challenge is safety and robustness. Systems of the aforementioned type must be designed in such a way that they maintain their function in the event of incorrect operation or in the event of abuse by the rear passenger and do not involve risks to the driving operation. An intelligent safety system which recognizes incorrect positions of the modules and responds accordingly is therefore of great importance.The described problem is solved by a module for maintaining rear passenger messages, a method for using the same and a corresponding motor vehicle according to the independent claims.This approach has the advantage that it allows simple rotation of the display units. By means of this movable connection to the roof frame, the displays can be brought from a parking position under the roof into a position which is optimum for the observer.The construction according to the invention allows the displays to be mounted independently of the roof configuration of the vehicle, for example as a glazed roof or fixed roof, which ensures high compatibility with different vehicle models. This increases the modularity of the system and facilitates integration into different vehicle lines.In addition, a reduction in the required drive components is achieved by a mechanical positive coupling. Instead of several motors, the system makes do with a single drive motor, which leads to a reduction in installation space, weight and costs. The mechanical positive coupling also provides synchronization of the movements between the pivoting of the arm and the rotation of the display, which simplifies the construction and increases the reliability.A further advantage lies in the controllability and safety of the system. By using an angle sensor within the mechanism, the position of the display can be determined and controlled precisely. Thus, in the event of unexpected movement or misoperation, the system may stop and correct the movement to provide both operability and safety.The connection of the system to the roof frame is likewise designed to be screened. It offers the possibility of being mounted either via a simple adapter or by means of an overall adapter which at the same time serves as a viewing part. These variants allow simplified assembly and logistics and contribute to cost reduction.Embodiments of the invention are set forth in the dependent claims.Brief Description of the DrawingsFIG. 1 is the conceptual diagram of a module according to the invention in the Kinoposition. FIG. 2 shows a module located in the parking position in a view obliquely from above. FIG. 3 shows the module according to FIG. 2 from the perspective of a rear passenger of the vehicle. FIGS. 4 and 5 show a first variant of the mechanical positive coupling, which variant is not covered by the claims. FIGS. 6, 7 and 8 show a second variant according to the invention of the mechanical positive coupling. FIG. 9 shows a first variant of the integration on the roof frame. FIG. 11 shows a second variant of the integration on the roof frame.Embodiments of the InventionFigure 1 illustrates an entertainment module shown in its kino position. The display (10) is connected to the roof frame (20) via a pivot arm (11). In this position, the rear passengers can view the screen comfortably. The rotation of the display (10) is made possible by a link which transmits the movement of the swivel arm (11) to the display.FIGS. 2 and 3 illuminate the entertainment module in the parking position from different perspectives. In this configuration, the display (10) is positioned close to the roof frame (20) to ensure smooth use of the vehicle interior when the entertainment system is not in use.FIGS. 4 and 5 show a first variant of the mechanical positive coupling, which variant is not covered by the claims. The link (14), which is substantially concealed under the cladding (13) in FIG. 4 and can be seen in FIG. 5, is fastened here to the display housing separately from the pivot arm (11).FIGS. 6, 7 to 8 illustrate a second variant according to the invention when viewed together. The guide rods (14) are here-hidden under a cover (15-FIG. 7 )-integrated directly in the swivel arm (11). It also contains a housing (16) for a transmission (12-FIG. 8 ) to which the steering rods (14) are connected in order to transmit the rotation of an electric drive (17) to the display (10). For this purpose, the rotational movement of a spur gear (1) supported by the drive (17) is transferred to a second spur gear (2) which is toothed with the latter and which supports a first spur gear of the transmission (12). Its second bevel gear actuates the guide rods (14) on both sides in order to rotate the display via these.The position can be determined and controlled by an angle sensor in this mechanism so that the movement can be stopped and corrected even in the event of a load or when there is incorrect use.FIGS. 9 and 10 show a first variant of the integration of the module on the roof frame ( 20). Here, a body shell adapter ( 18- FIG. 10 ) is used, which is fastened directly to the roof frame ( 20- FIG. 9 ). The inner lining (19) is subsequently mounted via this adapter, on which the pivot arm (11) is then mounted.FIG. 11 illustrates a second variant of the integration of the module on the roof frame ( 20). In this embodiment, an overall adapter is used which serves as a viewing part and can accommodate the overall module, including the drive. Module for passengers in a motor vehicle having a roof frame (20), having the following feature: - the module comprises a display (10) and a pivot arm (11) having at least one link (14), characterized bythe following features: - the pivot arm (11) is connected on the one hand in a rotationally articulated manner to the display (10) and on the other hand is configured to be pivotably mounted on the roof frame (20), - the module is provided for the entertainment of rear passengers and is configured in such a way that the link (14) rotates the display (10) on the pivot arm (11) when the latter is pivoted on the roof frame (20), - the pivot arm (11) carries a cover (15) on the front side and contains a transmission (12), and - the link (14) is connected to the transmission (12) under the cover (15).Module according to Claim 1, characterized bythe following features: - the display (10) carries a cladding (13) on the rear side, and - the link (14) is connected to the display (10) under the cladding (13) away from the pivot arm (11).Module according to claim 1 or 2, characterised bythe following features: - the swivel arm (11) further comprises a housing (16) concealed under the cover (15), and - the gear mechanism (12) comprises two bevel gears arranged in the housing (16).Module according to Claim 3, characterized bythe following features: - the pivot arm (11) has, on the side of the roof frame (20), an electric drive (17), a first spur gear (1) and a second spur gear (2) which is toothed with the latter, - the drive (17) bears the first spur gear (1) and - the second spur gear (2) bears one of the bevel gears.Module according to Claim 4, characterized bythe following features: - the pivot arm (11) has an angle sensor, and - the module is configured in such a way that the drive (17) is switched off if the angle sensor indicates a fault in the module.Use of a module according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized bythe following features: - a body shell adapter (18) is screwed to the roof frame (20), and - an inner lining (19) and the pivot arm (11) are subsequently mounted above the body shell adapter (18).Use of a module according to claim 4 or 5, characterised bythe following features: - the module is mounted on the roof frame (20) including the drive (17), and - the module simultaneously serves as an inner lining.Motor vehicle, characterized inthe following features: - the motor vehicle has a roof frame (20), and - the roof frame (20) carries a module according to one of Claims 1 to 5 on the side.Motor vehicle according to Claim 8, characterized bythe following features: - the roof frame (20) carries a further module of mirror-image construction in relation to the module, and - the motor vehicle is configured to actuate the displays (10) of the modules individually.
