Abstract

A foil tearer for opening spherically packaged items, consisting of a grinding head and a handle, characterized in that the grinding head has a hollow truncated cone shape, the inner surface of which is provided with grit or abrasions as a grinding surface, wherein the grinding head is adjustable in angle, depth and grinding head thickness depending on the application, and is designed in such a way that when the grinding head is placed on the packaging and, if necessary, by a manual turning or rubbing motion between the grinding surface and the foil, a controlled tearing of the packaging takes place.

Description

1. Technical field

[0001] The invention relates to a manual tool for opening packaging, in particular spherically packaged items. 2. State of the art

[0002] Documents D1 to D3 disclose grinding tools with handles that can be used to process surfaces or open packaging. However, these known devices are not designed to precisely open thin foil packaging of spherical objects. The known solutions are mostly flat or unsuitable for spheres with varying diameters. 3. Object of the invention

[0003] The aim is to provide a tool that tears open packaging films on spherical objects in a controlled manner through friction. 4. Solution to the problem.

[0004] The problem is solved by the foil tearer according to claim 1... 5. Structure of the invention

[0005] The foil tearer consists of a handle and a grinding head. The grinding head has a truncated cone shape, the inner surface of which is provided with grit or abrasions.

[0006] The grinding head is adjustable in angle, depth and grinding head thickness.

[0007] It is cylindrical-funnel shaped, so that spherical objects of different sizes can be accommodated.

[0008] When placed on the surface, the object positions itself within the inner profile. A slight twisting or rubbing motion between the abrasive surface and the film creates a controlled tear.

[0009] The preferred cone angle is between 50° and 100°, particularly around 60° or 90°, to ensure good adaptation to different sizes. 6. Functionality 1. The foil tearer is placed on the foil with the grinding head opening. 2. The spherical object automatically aligns itself with the grinding head profile. 3. Manual twisting or rubbing creates a defined tear in the film due to the grain structure. 7. Advantages of the invention • Different ball diameters are automatically accepted • Adjustable grinding head shape • Safe and easy to handle 8. Own inventive achievement

[0010] The combination of a funnel-shaped grinding head design, defined grain sizes / abrasion points and a friction-controlled opening principle is not disclosed in the prior art and represents a new technical teaching. 9. Brief description of the drawing

[0011] Fig. Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the foil tearer with handle (1) and grinding head (2). The internal grinding surface with grit (3) is indicated.

[0012] Fig.Figure 2 shows the side view of the foil tearer with handle (1) and grinding head (2). The internal grinding surface with grit (3) is indicated. 10. List of reference symbols 1 handle 2 grinding heads 3 sanding surfaces with grit sizes 4 spherical object

Claims

A foil tearer for opening spherically packaged items, consisting of a grinding head and a handle, characterized in that the grinding head has a hollow truncated cone shape, the inner surface of which is provided with grit or abrasions as a grinding surface, wherein the grinding head is adjustable in angle, depth and grinding head thickness depending on the application, and is designed in such a way that when the grinding head is placed on the packaging and, if necessary, by a manual turning or rubbing motion between the grinding surface and the foil, a controlled tearing of the packaging takes place. Foil tearer according to claim 1, characterized in that the grinding head has a cylindrical-funnel-shaped design which makes it possible to accommodate different diameters of spherically packaged objects, wherein the spherical object automatically inserts itself into the inner profile when placed on it and the foil is thereby automatically torn open at the contact point. Foil tearer according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the abrasive surface has a defined grit size which is adapted to the respective packaging material in order to enable clean and controlled tearing by manual operation. Foil tearer according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the handle is ergonomically shaped. Foil tearer according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the grinding head has a cone angle preferably between 50° and 100°, particularly preferably about 60° or 90°, to enable optimal adaptation to different sizes of spherically packaged objects.
