Abstract

An impeller for a turbomachine, preferably for a turbomachine, and in particular for a fan, wherein the impeller has a hub with blades attached to it, is characterized in that the blades are loop-shaped. A fan comprises at least one such impeller. Furthermore, a method for controlling such a fan is provided.
