Abstract

The invention relates to a support body (200) for connection to a watercraft (1), comprising a top surface (201) and a bottom surface (210) opposite the top surface (201), wherein the support body (200) has a support surface (202) in the region of the top surface (201) on which a user can rest parts of their body, and wherein the support body (200) is designed to be moved by the watercraft (1) in a direction of travel (F) along a water surface. The invention also relates to a water sports device comprising a watercraft (1) and such a support body (200). More energy-efficient movement along a water surface and increased travel speeds are made possible by the support body (200) having an air guide arrangement designed to direct air into the region of its bottom surface (210) when it is moved along the water surface.
