Abstract

Balancing element for attachment to a rotating component, in particular to a rotor shaft (1), comprising an inner ring (6) for arrangement on a shaft (2) of the component, a concentric outer ring (7) and a web structure (9) connecting the inner ring (6) with the outer ring (7), wherein the outer ring (7) is displaceable relative to the inner ring (6) while retaining its circular shape when a radial force is applied, and the web structure (9) is simultaneously deformed.
