Abstract
Thermal management component for a battery, wherein the thermal management component is provided with a medium inlet, a medium outlet and a medium flow channel, wherein the medium flow channel is located within the thermal management component, the medium flow channel connects the medium inlet and the medium outlet and the medium flow channel is designed to accommodate a fluid medium for regulating the temperature of the battery; wherein a cavity is provided within the thermal management component which is separate from both the medium inlet and the medium outlet.
