Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a fitting part with a fastening element for fastening the fitting part to a component, wherein the fastening element has a head and a shaft and is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the shaft.
[0002] The fitting can, for example, be a furniture hinge that is to be attached to one side of a furniture body and to a door of the furniture. An example of such a furniture hinge is described in DE 35 06 724 A1. The fastening element can, for example, be a screw with which a mounting flange of the fitting is screwed to the wall of the furniture body or the door using a screwdriver.
[0003] The object of the invention is to create a fitting that can be assembled and disassembled without tools.
[0004] This object is achieved according to the invention in that the head of the fastening element has a handle which can be folded down from an upright position, in which it allows the fastening element to be rotated, into a position resting against the fitting part.
[0005] The handle bar allows the fastener to be turned by hand to secure the fitting and then folds down into a position where it is out of the way and does not detract from the appearance.
[0006] Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
[0007] In one embodiment, the fastening element can be an expansion element in the form of a screw or eccentric, which is inserted or screwed into an expansion anchor, which in turn is inserted into a hole in the side of the structural element, e.g., the furniture door. By turning the expansion element, the anchor is then expanded and firmly anchored in the hole. With this fastening method, only a small amount of torque needs to be applied to the fastening element, allowing for convenient manual fastening.
[0008] The handle bracket can be a closed wire bracket with both ends inserted into a cross-hole passing through the head of the fastening element.
[0009] In the following, an embodiment example is explained in more detail using the drawing.
[0010] They show: Fig. 1 a furniture hinge in plan view; and Fig. 2 a side view of the furniture hinge.
[0011] The Fig. The furniture hinge shown in Figure 1 has a body-side fitting part 10, which is attached to one side 12 of a furniture body, and a door-side fitting part 14, which is attached to a door 16 of the furniture. The two fitting parts 10, 14 are connected to each other via a joint 18. Inside the fitting parts and the joint, springs (not shown) are housed, which, in a known manner, define two stable end positions of the hinge, separated by a dead center, in which the door 16 is held either in the closed position or in the open position. The door-side fitting part 14 has a cup-shaped engagement part 20, which engages in a cup bore (not shown) in the door and on which the joint 18 is mounted. Furthermore, the fitting part 14 has a mounting flange 22, which projects beyond the engagement part 20 and rests flat against the door 16 outside the cup bore. The fastening flange 22 is penetrated by two rotatable fastening elements 24, each having a head 26 and a shaft 28 running at right angles to the fastening flange, of which in . Fig. 2 a part can be seen. As further in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the shank of each fastener engages an expansion dowel 30. The expansion dowels 30 engage pre-drilled dowel holes in the door 14 and enable the fitting to be securely fixed to the door.
[0012] The head 26 of the fastening element 24 has a screwdriver slot 32 and a transverse bore 34 below the screwdriver slot and transverse to it, into which the ends of a wire ring bent into a rectangle are inserted, forming a handle 36. When the handle 36 is in the upright position, Fig. 2, it can be grasped by hand to rotate the fastener 24 manually. The fastener shank 28 can have a screw thread and be screwed into the expansion anchor 30, allowing the anchor to be expanded by screwing the shank deeper into the anchor. Alternatively, the shank 28 can also have an eccentric, allowing the anchor to be expanded by rotating the fastener through an angle of 90°.
[0013] The handle bar 36 is held frictionally in the cross hole 34 and can be inserted into the Fig. 1, in which it rests flat against the mounting flange 22 of the fitting (and against the door 16). Due to the frictional engagement, the handle bar 36 remains in the currently adjusted position. Since the handle bar has a certain distance from the surface of the door 16 in the folded-down position (corresponding to the thickness of the mounting flange 22), it can easily be swung back into the upright position if necessary.
[0014] The body-side fitting part 10 has a fastening flange 38, which can be fastened to the side 12 in the same way as the fastening flange 22 with two fastening elements 24.
[0015] In Fig.1, the handles 36 are shown in an angular position for the sake of clarity, in which their legs extend obliquely to the edges of the fastening flanges 22, 38. If the shanks 28 of the fastening elements are designed as expansion members, the handles can be oriented, in the state in which the dowels are not yet expanded and can still be rotated in the dowel holes, such that their longer legs run parallel to the longitudinal direction of the fastening flanges 22, 38. When they are then rotated by 90° during the expansion of the expansion dowels, they are in a position in which their legs run approximately along the edges of the fastening flanges 22, 38, so that they are visually very inconspicuous.
[0016] The fastening elements 24 can be operated without tools using the handles 36. However, thanks to the screwdriver slots 32 in the heads 26, fastening using a screwdriver is also possible. QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE DESCRIPTION
