Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a spring force clamping connection having:a clamping spring having a clamping leg with a clamping edge at the free end of the clamping leg, a contact leg for mounting the clamping spring, and a spring bow connecting the contact leg to the clamping leg,a busbar having a clamping section, wherein the clamping limb is configured with its clamping edge and the clamping section is configured for clamping an electrical conductor between the clamping edge and the clamping section, anda locking section which has a holding contour and is designed for locking the clamping edge of the clamping limb pivoted away from the clamping section of the busbar into an open position. The invention further relates to a conductor connection terminal with an insulating material housing and with such a spring force connection terminal.DE 10 2020 119 373 A1 discloses a conductor connection terminal having an insulating material housing which has a conductor insertion opening for receiving an electrical conductor in a conductor insertion direction, having a busbar section, and having a clamping spring. The clamping spring has a clamping leg which forms a clamping point for the electrical conductor with the busbar section, wherein the clamping leg can be latched to the conductor connection terminal in an open position of the clamping point. The clamping spring has a contact limb which has a fastening portion which is designed to fasten the clamping spring to the busbar portion, a holding portion which is designed to hold the clamping limb in the open position of the clamping point, and a releasing portion which is designed to release the latching of the clamping limb when the clamping point is in the open position.DE 20 2011 051 466 U1 discloses a clamping spring for a connection terminal having a clamping leg, a first clamping device for prestressing the clamping leg into a clamping position, and an actuatable latching leg for fixing the clamping leg in a clamping position. The latching leg comprises an actuating section which can be actuated in an actuating direction by the conductive region of a cable and by means of which the latching leg can be transferred from the clamping position into an actuated release position in which the latching leg releases the clamping leg for a movement in the direction of the clamping position.WO 2021 / 105280 A1 discloses a spring force clamp designed as a direct plug-in clamp for connecting a conductor to a busbar, a clamping spring acting as a compression spring, and a retaining spring for latching the clamping spring in an open position. The clamping spring has a clamping leg with a clamping edge, which can be pivoted about a first pivot axis. The holding spring has a pivot arm pivotable about a second pivot axis. The pivot leg has at least one holding means and the clamping leg has a latching means interacting therewith in the latching state of the clamping leg. The clamping leg can be adjusted from the latching state by displacing the electrical conductor into a clamping state in which the clamping leg is unlatched and presses the electrical conductor with the clamping edge against the busbar. The latching means of the clamping leg is spaced apart from the clamping edge.Proceeding from this, it is an object of the present invention to provide an improved spring force terminal connection and a conductor terminal connection equipped therewith. The object is achieved with the spring force terminal having the features of claims 1 and 13 and with the conductor terminal having the features of claim 16. Advantageous embodiments are described in the sub-sprays and the description. It is proposed that the clamping edge of the clamping leg can be pivoted on a first circular path and the holding contour of the locking section can be pivoted on a second circular path, wherein the first and second circular paths are different from one another and intersect in a locking position in which the holding contour forms a stop for the clamping edge pivoted on the first circular path into the open position. This allows an improved kinematic adjustment of the movements to be achieved. It is advantageous if the holding contour has a support surface that is transverse to the second circular path and the first circular path intersects this support surface. When the clamping leg is pivoted from the open starting position or clamping position into the open position, the locking section can be pivoted on the second circular path by the clamping leg sliding along the bearing surface. After leaving the support surface, the spring-elastic locking section can then spring back, so that the retaining contour then lies in front of the clamping leg end and forms a stop for the clamping leg. The clamping leg is thus held in the open position. The clamping edge of the clamping leg and the clamping section of the busbar form a clamping point between which an electrical conductor can be clamped. In the open position, the clamping point is open, so that an electrical conductor can be inserted into or removed from the spring force clamping connection. In this case, the holding contour provides a stop for the clamping leg in that the clamping leg is latched or locked positively on the holding contour. The second circular path can be locked with the holding edge by forming a stop for the clamping leg in the positions in which the clamping edge is locked and a return pivoting of the clamping leg from the open position in the direction of the clamping section into the clamping position is prevented, in the first circular surface formed by the clamping spring with its center of rotation and the first circular path.A center of rotation of the first circular path is to be understood as the (virtual) approximate center of the circle of the first circular path, which is described by the clamping edge during the movement from the clamping position to the open position. The second circular path has a (virtual) center of rotation in a corresponding manner, about which the holding contour is pivoted on the second circular path. The radius of the first circular path of the clamping edge is preferably greater than the radius of the second circular path of the holding edge. At the same pivot angle, the distance travelled by the locking section for latching or de-latching is indeed smaller than the stroke of the clamping limb. However, for latching or disengaging the clamping leg with the retaining edge, only a small stroke is required. The different centers of rotation make it possible to adapt the smaller stroke of the holding edge to the necessary large stroke of the clamping leg and thereby achieve a compact and kinematically good structural solution for holding open and unlocking the clamping leg.The locking portion can be a sheet metal element which has a retaining edge bent out of the plane of the sheet metal element. The locking section can be formed integrally with the contact limb. This makes it possible to achieve a spring force clamping connection which can be produced and mounted easily with little effort and is of compact and stable construction. The locking leg can adjoin the contact leg. The contact leg adjoining the spring bend is continued by the locking leg. The locking leg can form the freely movable end of the bent clamping spring. The clamping edge of the clamping leg can form the other free end.The locking section can form a release surface which is displaced together with the holding contour with the force of an impinging electrical conductor in order to unlatch the clamping spring. The bus bar may have a lead-through opening. The clamping spring then protrudes with the clamping leg and the contact leg into the conductor passage opening. Projecting is also to be understood as the option that the contact leg or at least the clamping leg protrudes through the conductor passage opening. The contact leg can abut on a first end side delimiting the conductor feedthrough opening and the busbar can have a clamping projection on a second end side of the conductor feedthrough opening, which clamping projection extends away from the plane of the busbar spanned by the conductor feedthrough opening and forms a clamping section for clamping the electrical conductor between the clamping edge of the clamping leg and the clamping projection.Such a conductor feedthrough opening of the busbar can have a collar which partially or completely delimits the conductor feedthrough opening and extends from the plane of the busbar spanned by the conductor feedthrough opening towards the locking section. The locking section can thus form a release surface in order to unlock the clamping spring by an impinging electrical conductor. The clamping portion can be formed on such a collar.A busbar can have a plurality of conductor plug-through openings, each with a clamping spring arranged thereon. At least one of the clamping springs is equipped with a previously described locking section in order to latch the clamping leg in the open position. With such a common busbar, it is possible, for example in the embodiment of a terminal block, to connect a plurality of electrical conductors to one another in an electrically conductive manner via the common busbar. The clamping spring may be a leg spring. In a spring force clamping connection of the type in question, the locking section can be formed as an extension of the contact section in one piece with the clamping spring, and the holding contour of the locking section can be formed as a tab arranged on the lateral edge of the locking section and bent in the direction of the clamping leg. This holding contour can be displaced from the latching position into a de-latching position by elastic bending and / or by pivoting of the locking section. When pivoting the locking section, the plane of the second circular path, which is described by the holding contour during pivoting, is preferably located on the plane or parallel to the plane of the first circular path, which describes the clamping edge of the clamping leg during pivoting. During the elastic bending, the holding contour can also be displaced away at an angle to the plane of the first circular path of the clamping leg.In a generic conductor connection terminal with an insulating material housing, at least one spring force connection terminal according to the invention described above is installed in the insulating material housing, wherein the insulating material housing has a conductor insertion opening leading to a release surface of the locking section. The holding contour can thus be displaced by the force of an electrical conductor to be clamped which impinges on the release surface, in order to unlock the clamping position locked in the open position and to clamp the electrical conductor to the busbar by means of the clamping limb. The point of intersection of the first and second circular paths can be in alignment with the conductor insertion opening extending in the direction of the clamping point. The insulating material housing may have an actuating opening which leads to an actuating surface of the clamping leg.The actuating opening can be designed to receive an actuating tool or an actuating element movably installed in the actuating opening. The clamping leg can be displaced against the force of the clamping spring into the open position toward the contact leg with an actuating tool inserted into the actuating opening or an actuating element installed into the actuating opening until the clamping leg is locked in the open position by the holding contour forming a stop.An actuating element can be installed in the actuating opening in a captive manner, for example with a positive fit. Suitable actuating elements are, for example, displaceable push buttons, pivotable levers or rotatable shafts. Such actuating elements can be connected to the insulating material housing in a form-fitting and movable manner by stop elements or bearings. A screwdriver is usually used as the actuating tool.In the context of this application, the words "a / an", unless expressly defined otherwise, are not to be understood as a numerical word, but rather as an indeterminate article having the word sense of "at least one / one".The invention allows various embodiments and is described in more detail below by way of example with reference to an exemplary embodiment. The following are shown: FIG. 1 is a side sectional view of a conductor connection terminal with clamping spring in the closed starting position; FIG. 2 is a side sectional view of a conductor connection terminal with clamping spring in the opened pre-latching position; FIG. 3 is a side sectional view of a conductor connection terminal with clamping spring in the locked open position; FIG. 4 is a side sectional view of a conductor connection terminal with clamping spring in the locked open position with inserted electrical conductor; FIG. 5 is a side sectional view of a conductor connection terminal with a clamping spring released by actuation of the locking section; FIG. 6 shows a side sectional view of a conductor connection terminal with unlocked clamping spring in the clamping position with the electrical conductor clamped on; FIG. 7 is a perspective view of the clamping spring in the unlocked starting position looking at the clamping leg; FIG. 8 is a perspective view of the clamping spring in the unlocked starting position looking at the contact limb; FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the clamping spring in the locked open position looking at the clamping leg; FIG. 10 is a perspective view of the clamping spring in the locked open position looking at the contact limb.FIG. 1 shows a side sectional view of a conductor connection terminal 1 with an insulating material housing 2 and a spring force terminal connection 3 installed therein. The insulating housing 2 has a conductor insertion opening 4 which extends with its boundary walls in a conductor insertion direction L.The spring force clamping terminal 3 has a clamping spring 5 and a bus bar 6. The clamping spring 5 has a contact leg 7 mounted on the busbar 6, a clamping leg 8 and a spring bend 9 which connects the clamping leg 8 to the contact leg 7.In the exemplary embodiment shown, the busbar 6 has a conductor passage opening 10 in the plane of the busbar 6, which runs out with a collar 11 on the underside of the busbar 6, which is situated opposite the conductor insertion opening 4. The collar 11 delimits the conductor passage opening 10.The contact leg 7 abuts a first end face 12 or end face wall of the collar 11. The opposite second end face 13 or end face wall is set obliquely in the direction of the first end face 12 in order to provide a clamping section 14 which is set into alignment with the conductor insertion opening 4. This can be arranged at the end region of the second end face 13.The clamping leg 8 has a clamping edge 15 at the free end for clamping an electrical conductor between the clamping edge 10 and the clamping section 14 of the busbar 6.The clamping leg 8 is in the closed starting position in FIG. 1 and can in this case bear against the second end face 13 of the collar. The first and second end sides 12, 13 are connected to one another by a longitudinal side wall 16 of the collar 11. It is conceivable that only one longitudinal side wall 16 is present and the other longitudinal side is open. The conductor passage opening 10 would therefore be bounded only partially by the collar 11. Preferably, however, a complete passage with two parallel longitudinal side walls 16 spaced apart from one another is provided. The current-carrying cross section is thus enlarged and the stability of the busbar 6 is improved. In addition to the conductor insertion opening 4, the insulating material housing 2 also has an actuating opening 17 which opens out in the interior space toward the clamping limb 8. An actuating force can thus be exerted on an actuating surface B of the clamping limb 8 by an actuating tool inserted into the actuating opening 17 or, as illustrated, by an actuating element 18 installed in the actuating opening 17, in order to pivot said actuating tool in the direction of the bearing limb 7 and thus open the clamping point. The actuating element 18 can be designed, for example, as a displaceably mounted actuating presser. This can be non-detachably fastened to the insulating material housing 2 by a positive connection 19.The clamping spring 5 has a locking section 20 with a holding contour 21, which locking section can adjoin the contact limb 7, as shown. The locking section 20 can be cut free from the width of the contact limb 7, wherein a remaining free end region 21 of the contact limb 7 is bent such that it bears against the first end wall 12 of the collar 11. The locking section 20 is bent out of the plane of the free end region 21 of the contact limb 7 and extends with a release surface 22 transversely to the alignment of the conductor insertion opening 4.It can be seen that the insulating material housing 2 has, in the space below the collar 11, i.e. opposite the conductor insertion opening 4, a conductor collecting pocket 23, in which the movable end of the locking portion 20 is accommodated. It is clear that a holding contour 24 protrudes from the locking section 20, for example as illustrated in the region of the release surface 22, in the direction of the clamping limb 8.FIG. 2 shows a side sectional view of the conductor connection terminal 1 with the clamping spring 5 in the opened pre-latching position. For this purpose, the actuating element 17 has been displaced toward the clamping leg 8 and an actuating force has been applied via the actuating element 17, by means of which the clamping leg 8 is pivoted toward the contact leg 7 counter to the spring force stored in the spring arch 9.It can be seen that the clamping edge 15 slides along the upper edge of the holding contour 20 which is inclined with respect to the direction of extent of the end section of the clamping limb 8. The locking section 20 can thus be pivoted downward away from the clamping leg 8 and the busbar 6 in order to guide the clamping leg 8 past the holding contour 20.FIG. 3 shows a side sectional view of the conductor connection terminal 1 with the clamping spring 5 now in the locked open position. It can be seen that the locking section 20 is pivoted back toward the busbar 6, so that the clamping leg 8 is positioned with its clamping edge 15 behind the holding contour 24. The holding contour 24 thus forms a stop for the clamping leg 8, which holds the clamping spring 5 in the open position. The holding contour 24 can taper towards the contact limb 7 in order to create a reduced stop point or stop surface there. The dotted lines indicate the pitch circles of the pivot radii in which, on the one hand, the clamping edge 15 of the clamping leg is pivoted in the path from the starting position from FIG. 1 into the open position and, on the other hand, the stop point of the holding contour 24 is pivoted in the transition from the starting position into the open position. It becomes clear that the clamping limb 8 is pivoted with a first pivot point D 1 on a first circular path K 1, which has a larger radius from the first pivot point D 1 to the clamping edge 15 than the second circular path K 2 described by the stop point of the holding contour 24. The second pivot point D 2 of the locking portion 20 is located at a distance from the first pivot point D 1 of the clamping leg 8. The first pivot point D 1 of the clamping leg 8 is located in the region of the spring bow 9, while the second pivot point D 2 can be located in the region between the trailing end 21 of the contact leg 7 and the section of the locking section 20 bent transversely to the conductor insertion direction L. The radius of the second circular path K 2 of the locking section 20 with the second pivot point D 2 is substantially smaller than the radius of the first circular path K 1 of the clamping leg with the first pivot point D 1. The circular paths K 1, K 2 intersect at the contact point. They extend at an angle to each other. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the pitch circles of the first and second circular paths K 1, K 2 each span a plane, wherein the planes are the same planes or parallel planes.FIG. 4 shows a side sectional view of the conductor connection terminal 1 with the clamping spring 5 in the locked open position. An electric conductor 25 is inserted into the conductor insertion opening 4 and is passed through the conductor passage opening 10 in the conductor insertion direction L. The stripped end of the electrical conductor 25 is led out of the space bounded by the collar 11 into the conductor collecting pocket and impinges on the release surface 22 standing transversely to the conductor passage opening 10. A triggering force is thus exerted from the electrical conductor 25 in the conductor insertion direction L on the locking section 16, by means of which the locking section 16 is pivoted on a second circular path K 2 about the second pivot point D 2.As a result, the stop of the holding contour 24 for the free end of the clamping shackle 8 is canceled and the clamping leg 8 can pivot out of the open position away from the contact leg 7 and towards the clamping section 14 by the force of the clamping spring 5. This is shown in FIG. 5. A side sectional view of the conductor connection terminal 1 with the clamping spring 5 unlocked by the actuation of the locking section 16 can be seen there. It is clear that the locking section 20 is pivoted somewhat downward with its release surface 22 away from the busbar 6. This short stroke is sufficient to clear the path for the clamping leg 8 past the holding contour 14.FIG. 6 shows a side sectional view of the conductor connection terminal 1 with the clamping spring 5 disengaged in the clamping position with the electrical conductor 25 clamped on. It can be seen that the clamping edge 15 of the clamping leg 8 is pivoted past the holding contour 24 and now abuts the stripped end of the electrical conductor 25. Thus, the clamping spring 5 exerts a clamping force on the electric conductor 25 directed against the opposite clamping portion 14 of the second end wall 13. The electrical conductor 25 is thus electrically conductively clamped to the busbar 6 at the clamping point between the clamping edge 15 and the clamping section 14.FIG. 7 shows a perspective view of the clamping spring 5 in the unlocked starting position with a view of the clamping limb 8.It is clear that the clamping spring 5 is designed as a leg spring. It has a curved clamping leg 8 which provides the clamping edge 15 at the free end for clamping an electrical conductor 25.The locking section 20 is formed as an extension of the contact limb 7 in one piece with the clamping spring 5. In this case, in the transition to the locking section 20, two remaining lateral free end regions 21 of the contact limb 7 are bent away from the previous alignment of the contact limb 7 from the clamping limb 8. The intermediate region forms the locking section 20, which has a width from the root region, due to the remaining end regions 21, that is smaller than the width of the contact leg 7 in the root region. The locking section 20 then has a bend towards the clamping leg 8, which is adjoined by the holding contour 24. This holding contour 24 of the locking section 20 is formed by tabs 26 which are arranged on the lateral edge of the locking section 20 and are bent from the plane of the locking section 20 in the direction of the clamping limb 8. The tabs 26 are cut out of the sheet material of the locking section 20 and bent up from the edge. A platform remains at the free end of the locking section 20 and serves as a release surface 22. The platform is wider than the adjoining intermediate space between the lugs of the retaining contour 24 and serves as a release surface 22.FIG. 8 shows a perspective view of the clamping spring in the unlocked starting position with a view of the contact limb 7.It can be seen that, from a root region in the transition to the locking section 20, the two lateral free end regions 21 are bent away from the clamping leg 8 at a distance from one another at the two lateral edge regions of the contact leg 7 out of the plane of the root region and extend at an acute angle to the locking section 20 lying therebetween. It is also clear that the locking section 20 terminates after bending at an obtuse internal angle (for example approximately 120°) toward the clamping limb 8 in a free end region which has the retaining contour 24 and the wider release surface 22 adjoining it. The tabs 26 are bent up from the sheet metal material of the locking section 20 at the mutually opposite side edges in the direction of the clamping limb 8. This forms a pocket, bounded by the release surface 22 as the base and the tabs 26 as side walls, for receiving the stripped end of an electrical conductor 25 to be clamped.FIG. 9 shows a perspective view of the clamping spring 5 in the locked open position with a view of the clamping limb 8.It is clear that the free end of the clamping leg 8 is positioned with its clamping edge behind the tabs 26 of the holding contour 24. The tabs 26 thus form with their front edges facing the contact limb 7 a stop for the clamping limb 8, in order to hold the latter in the open position. The locking section 20 is spring-elastic, so that an electrical conductor 25 striking the release surface 22 exerts a release force and the holding contour 24 is displaced downward away from the clamping leg 8. The stop can thus be lifted and the clamping leg 8 can pivot away from the contact leg 7 into the closed clamping position or starting position by the force of the clamping spring 5.FIG. 10 shows a perspective view of the clamping spring in the locked open position with a view of the contact limb.It can be seen here that the free end of the clamping limb 8 abuts the end edges of the tabs 26 which face the contact limb 7. It is also clear that the platform of the release surface 22 projects transversely to the plane of the end of the clamping limb 8 which is latched in the open position, with the result that a release force which acts approximately in the direction of extent of the clamping limb end can act.List of reference characters1 Conductor connection terminal 2 Insulating material housing 3 Spring force clamping connection 4 Conductor insertion opening 5 Clamping spring 6 Busbar 7 Contact limb 8 Clamping limb 9 Spring bend 10 Conductor passage opening 11 Collar 12 First end side 13 Second end side 14 Clamping section 15 Clamping edge 16 Longitudinal side wall 17 Actuating opening 18 Actuating element 19 Positive fit 20 Locking section 21 Free end region 22 Release surface 23 Conductor collecting pocket 24 Holding contour 25 Electrical conductor 26 Tabs B Actuating surface D 1 Pivot point D 2 Pivot point K 1 First circular path K 2 Second circular path L Conductor insertion directionReferences included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
