Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a conductor connection terminal with an insulating material housing and a spring force terminal connection. The spring force clamping connection has a busbar and a clamping spring, wherein the clamping spring has a clamping leg with a clamping edge for clamping an electrical conductor to a contact section of the busbar, a contact leg on which the clamping spring is mounted, and a spring bow which connects the contact leg to the clamping leg. The clamping leg forms together with the busbar a clamping point for clamping an electrical conductor between the clamping leg and the busbar. The insulating material housing has a conductor insertion opening for inserting an electrical conductor to the clamping point and an actuation channel leading to the clamping spring. An actuating leg protrudes from the clamping leg, which extends into the actuating channel. An actuating presser is arranged displaceably in the actuating channel, wherein the actuating presser has an actuating contour interacting with the actuating limb and is designed for opening the clamping point by pivoting the clamping limb in the direction of the bearing limb by means of a force application to the actuating limb with the actuating contour when the actuating presser is displaced in the actuating channel.Spring force clamping connections serve for clamping an electrical conductor to a clamping point which is formed between the clamping limb of a clamping spring and a busbar. For clamping the electrical conductor, the clamping spring can be pressed away from the busbar by the electrical conductor against the force of the clamping spring during direct connection. This is possible for rigid conductors, but not for multi-wire conductors or stranded conductors. There is a need for clamping electrical conductors to provide a spring force clamping connection in a self-holding manner in an open position. It is often desired that conductor connection terminals are delivered at the factory with the spring force clamping terminal open.DE 10 2020 119 373 A1 discloses a conductor connection terminal having an insulating material housing which has a conductor insertion opening for receiving an electrical conductor in a conductor insertion direction, having a busbar section, and having a clamping spring. The clamping spring has a clamping leg which forms a clamping point for the electrical conductor with the busbar section, wherein the clamping leg can be latched to the conductor connection terminal in an open position of the clamping point. The clamping spring has a contact limb which has a fastening portion which is designed to fasten the clamping spring to the busbar portion, a holding portion which is designed to hold the clamping limb in the open position of the clamping point, and a releasing portion which is designed to release the latching of the clamping limb when the clamping point is in the open position.DE 20 2011 051 466 U1 discloses a clamping spring for a connection terminal with a clamping leg which merges into a first clamping device (i.e. a spring arch), which is adjoined by a base leg and, after a second clamping device, by a latching leg. The locking leg has projections projecting from the plane of the locking leg, which form a stop for the clamping edge of the opened clamping leg when the clamping leg is displaced against the spring force towards the base leg.DE 20 2009 001 488 U1 discloses a generic conductor connection terminal for connecting conductor ends, which has at least one clamping cage which can be inserted in a housing and has at least one open side, and a clamping spring which is arranged in the clamping cage and, in the state in which it is connected to a conductor end, presses the conductor end against a busbar in the region of a clamping point. The clamping spring can be moved into an open position with the aid of an actuating element in such a way that the conductor end can be introduced into the clamping point or removed from the clamping point. The clamping leg has a shoulder extending outwards from the clamping cage, on which shoulder an actuating element for opening the clamping point is arranged or formed.Proceeding from this, it is an object of the present invention to provide an improved spring force clamping connection and a conductor connection terminal having such a spring force clamping connection. The object is achieved with the conductor connection terminal having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are described in the dependent claims. It is proposed that the spring force clamping connection has a latching contour which is designed for latching the clamping limb deflected towards the contact limb counter to the spring force of the clamping spring in a holding-open position. The latching contour is arranged in the region of the transition of the clamping limb to the actuating limb. This creates a compact construction formed from few components for actuating the clamping leg and for latching in the hold-open position, in which the latching takes place in the region of the transition between clamping leg and actuating leg. The actuating force applied by the actuating element to the actuating leg is thus directed at the transition in which the latching takes place. The clamping spring can thus be opened into the hold-open position in a force-optimized manner and locked there. At least one inner wall of the actuating channel can have a path contour which is curved and / or angled towards the contact section of the busbar. The actuating leg can project into the actuating channel with a curved and / or angled section. The actuation thus takes place on a path curve which is oriented toward the contact section of the busbar in order to focus the actuating force not only on the transition of the clamping limb to the actuating limb, but additionally on the contact section on which the clamping edge can bear in the closed position without inserted electrical conductor. The direction of the actuating force for displacing the clamping limb from the closed position into the hold-open position is aligned optimally to the transition of the clamping limb to the actuating limb during the displacement of the actuating element, which usually takes place on a direction which is at an angle to the direction of movement of the clamping edge. The actuating pusher can have a curved and / or beveled and / or stepped cross-sectional contour and be mounted in the actuating channel for displacement on a curved path to the contact section of the busbar. The actuating pusher can thus have a greater length of extent and nevertheless bear against the inner walls of the actuating channel at a plurality of bearing points which may possibly vary during the displacement, without the actuating pusher jamming in the process. The actuating presser is thus displaceably mounted on a curved path which is curved and / or angled, for example. The contact leg can be adjoined by a holding leg which has the latching contour which is designed for latching the clamping leg deflected towards the contact leg counter to the spring force of the clamping spring in a holding-open position. The holding leg can be formed on the contact leg in a spring-elastic manner. The extension of the contact leg of the clamping spring is thus used as a holding arm in order to latch the clamping leg on the holding arm with a positive latching contour projecting from the holding arm, for example, or with a negative latching contour formed in the holding arm, for example. For this purpose, a clamping tab of the clamping leg having the clamping edge can latch on the latching contour in that a, for example, a positive latching contour forms a stop for the clamping tab projecting from the clamping leg or the clamping tab dips into a negative contour of the holding leg in order to latch on a marginal edge delimiting the negative latching contour.A multipart embodiment with a configuration of the holding leg separate from the contact leg is also conceivable. The term "integrally formed" is to be understood in this sense such that the holding leg can be formed integrally (integrally) with the contact leg or can be connected to the contact leg as a separate part. The holding leg can have a release region, wherein the release region is configured to be elastically deflected counter to the spring force of the holding leg by an electrical conductor inserted for clamping to the busbar and thereby to move the latching contour away from the clamping leg and to unlatch the clamping leg latched in the hold-open position. The release region can form an emerging free end of the clamping spring. The release region can extend transversely to the clamping leg latched to the holding leg in the open holding position. The conductor insertion opening can be opened toward the holding leg and be oriented such that an electrical conductor inserted into the conductor insertion opening comes into contact with the holding leg and displaces the latter for disengaging the clamping leg which is latched to the latching contour in the open holding position. It is advantageous if the release region extends transversely to the alignment of the conductor insertion opening opening. As a result, the electrical conductor is guided to the trip region with the aid of the direction of extent of the channel-like conductor insertion opening, i.e. of the conductor insertion channel bounded by guide walls, so that the end-face end of the electrical conductor can apply a trip force to the trip region. The triggering force is introduced from the outside by the insertion force on the electrical conductor. The clamping leg can have a clamping tab bent away from the release region, which clamping tab has the clamping edge, wherein the latching contour forms a stop for the clamping tab in the hold-open position for latching the clamping leg. The locking on the clamping tab thus takes place in the transition to the actuating leg, wherein the bent clamping tab simultaneously provides the clamping edge for clamping the electrical conductor. The conductor insertion opening can be opened toward the holding leg and be oriented such that an electrical conductor inserted into the conductor insertion opening comes into contact with the holding leg and displaces the latter for disengaging the clamping leg which is latched to the latching contour in the open holding position. A triggering force can thus be exerted by the electrical conductor on the holding leg when the electrical conductor is inserted into the conductor insertion opening. The release force can preferably be exerted on a release region of the holding leg, as has already been described above. At least one latching tab can protrude from the holding leg in the direction of the spring bow, wherein the latching tab forms the latching contour for latching the free end region of the clamping leg.A free end is to be understood as the terminating end, to which no further section is connected any longer. The terminating end of the clamping leg is freely movable in this sense and forms the end of the clamping leg at which the clamping leg terminates at the free end opposite the spring arch.At the side edge regions of the clamping limb, two edge webs can extend away from the region of the clamping edge at a distance from one another into the actuating channel. The edge webs can be connected to one another at their end remote from the clamping edge with a transverse web in order to enclose a recess in a frame-like manner and stabilize the edge webs. The actuating element can act on the transverse web with its actuating contour. However, it is also conceivable to hold the edge webs together by connecting them to the actuating element, which then forms a kind of transverse web. The conductor insertion opening leads to the recess of the actuating leg, which recess is framed by the edge webs and the transverse web in the manner of a frame, so that an inserted electrical conductor extends through the recess to the clamping point. The busbar can extend into the recess of the actuating leg and thus guide the actuating leg laterally. The busbar can have a conductor plug-through opening in a busbar plane and a contact section projecting from the busbar plane, wherein the contact section has a contact edge which forms the clamping point and is intended for clamping an electrical conductor. The conductor plug-through opening can be bounded by a side surface extending away from the busbar plane. In one embodiment, the busbar can have a side surface on only one side and, in the region of the interspace between the bearing surface and the clamping surface, can furthermore be bounded only by this one side surface. The conductor plug-through opening of the busbar can be bounded by a collar, wherein side surfaces are formed from the collar side walls, a bearing surface for the contact limb is formed from a first collar end wall, and the clamping surface with the contact section is formed on a second collar end wall opposite the first collar end wall.In the context of this application, the words "a / an", unless expressly defined otherwise, are not to be understood as a numerical word, but rather as an indeterminate article having the word sense of "at least one / one".The invention allows various embodiments and is described in more detail below by way of example with reference to an exemplary embodiment. The following are shown: FIG. 1 is a side view of a conductor connection terminal in the closed clamping position; FIG. 2 is a side sectional view of the conductor terminal of FIG. 1 ; FIG. 3 shows a side view of the conductor connection terminal from FIG. 1 in the hold-open position with an inserted electrical conductor; FIG. 4 is a side sectional view of the conductor connection terminal from FIG. 3 in the hold-open position with an inserted electrical conductor; FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the conductor terminal in the hold-open position; FIG. 6 is a plan view of the conductor connection terminal from FIG. 1 in the closed position; FIG. 7 is a plan view of the conductor connection terminal from FIG. 3 in the hold-open position.FIG. 1 shows a side view of a conductor connection terminal 1 in the closed clamping position. The conductor terminal 1 has an insulating housing 2 and a spring force terminal 3 in the insulating housing 2, and the spring force terminal 3 has a bus bar 4 and a clamping spring 5 and is configured to clamp an electric conductor to the bus bar 4. The clamping spring 5 has a contact leg 6, which is mounted on the busbar 4, a clamping leg 7 with a clamping edge 8 and a spring bow 9 connecting the contact leg 6 to the clamping leg 7. In order to clamp an electrical conductor, the clamping leg 6 of the clamping spring 5 exerts a spring force on the stripped conductor end of the electrical conductor and presses the latter against a contact section 10 of the busbar 4.The insulating material housing 2 has a conductor insertion opening 11 which is bounded at least partially circumferentially by guide walls and leads in the manner of a conductor insertion channel to the clamping point. The conductor insertion opening 11 opens toward the bus bar 4.The busbar 4 can have a conductor through-opening 12, as illustrated. The conductor insertion opening 11 opens out toward the upper side of the busbar 4 toward the conductor through opening 12. On the underside of the busbar 4, a conductor collecting pocket 13 is present in the insulating material housing 2. An electric conductor to be clamped can be inserted into the conductor receiving pocket 13 in the conductor insertion direction L which is predetermined by the extension direction of the conductor insertion opening 11.The insulating material housing 2 also has an actuating channel 14 next to the conductor passage opening 11. An actuating element 15 in the form of an actuating presser is installed in this actuating channel 14 so as to be displaceable in the direction of the longitudinal extent B of the actuating channel 14 toward the busbar 4.The actuating element 15 has a pusher head 16 which projects out of the insulating material housing 2 in the closed clamping position. The clamping spring 5 has an actuating leg 17 which adjoins the clamping leg 6 and extends into the actuating channel 14. The actuating element 15 interacts with the actuating leg 17 by means of an actuating contour 18. For this purpose, the free end of the actuating leg 17 dips into the actuating contour 18. By pressing down the actuating element 15, the actuating leg 17 together with the clamping leg 6 connected thereto is displaced. The clamping spring 5 has a holding leg 19 which adjoins the contact leg 6 and terminates with a release region 20. The release region 20 of the holding leg 19 is positioned in the conductor collecting pocket 13 in alignment with the conductor insertion opening 11 so that an inserted electrical conductor impinges on the release region 20.FIG. 2 shows a side sectional view of the conductor connection terminal 1 from FIG. 1 in the closed clamping position. It can be seen that the clamping spring 5 extends with its contact leg 6 into the conductor plug-through opening 12 of the busbar 4. The contact leg 6 is mounted on the busbar 4 by abutting against an end face delimiting the conductor through-opening 12 and being locked by a locking tab 21 bent away from the plane of the contact leg 6.The holding leg 19 adjoins the contact leg 6. The holding leg 19 extends after a spring-elastic first bend B 1 on the underside of the busbar 4 to align F with the conductor insertion opening 11 and projects after a further, second bend B 2 into the conductor collection pocket 13. In this case, a release region 20 is set "transversely" in the widest sense into the alignment F, so that electrical conductor inserted into the conductor insertion opening 11 impinges on the release region 20.It can be seen that a latching contour 22 in the form of a latching tab protruding toward the busbar 4 protrudes at the second bend B 2. The latching contour 22 at the second bend B 2 is located at the location of the holding leg 19 at which the holding leg 19 is bent into the conductor collection pocket 13 at the bend facing away from the busbar 4.It can be seen that between the latching tab 22 cut free from the retaining leg 19 and the locking tab 21, edge webs 23 remain which extend parallel to one another leaving a recess. A desired spring elasticity of the holding leg 19 can thus be achieved. It can also be seen that, in addition to the conductor insertion opening 11, a test opening 24 is present in the insulating material housing 2, which opens out toward the spring bend 9. With a test tool which is inserted into the test opening 24 in order to make electrically conductive contact with the spring bend 9, the voltage potential present at the spring force clamping connection 3 can be measured. It can also be seen that a clamping tab 25 having the clamping edge 8 is cut free from the clamping leg 7 and bent out of the delimiting plane of the clamping leg 7. The clamping tab 25 forms the transition to the actuating leg 17, which extends into the actuating channel 14 in the form of two edge webs 26 spaced apart from one another. The edge webs 26 define a recess through which the contact section 10 of the busbar 4 extends. The actuating leg 17 is thus guided or supported laterally. The edge webs 26 are connected to one another at their ends by a transverse web 27. The actuating contour 18 of the actuating element 15 rests on the transverse web 27 and engages around it. The actuating contour 18 is designed, for example, as a slot or groove into which the transverse web 27 dips. The busbar 4 has a contact section 10 which is bent upwards from the busbar plane spanned by the conductor plug-through opening 12 toward the actuating element 15 or toward a separating wall 28 between the conductor insertion opening 11 and the actuating opening 14 and is designed as a bent material tab which is exposed from the busbar 4 and has a contact edge 29 projecting toward the clamping tab 25 by means of a bend. The contact section 10 is with its free end region inclinedly pointing towards the alignment F and has the protruding contact edge 29. The clamping leg 7 has a clamping edge 8, which is formed on the clamping tab 25 at the free end of the clamping leg 7 and serves for clamping an electrical conductor between the clamping edge 8 and the contact edge 29.FIG. 3 shows a side view and FIG. 4 shows a side sectional view of the conductor connection terminal 1 from FIG. 1 in the hold-open position. It can be seen that the actuating element 15 is displaced in the direction of the longitudinal extent B of the actuating channel 14 into the insulating material housing 2. The actuating element 15 is mounted in the actuating channel 10 for displacement on a curved path in the direction of the contact section 10 of the busbar 4.The mutually opposite inner walls of the actuating channel 14 have a curved or angled path contour towards the contact section 10 of the busbar 4, so that the actuating leg 17 projects into the actuating channel 14 with a likewise curved section. The actuating element 15 has a curved cross-sectional contour on both sides, which abut on the curved or angled inner wall and face or face away from the conductor insertion opening 11 in each case. The actuating element 15 is thus initially pressed in a straight line into the insulating material housing 2 and then follows on a curved path in a direction of movement directed toward the contact section 10. The transverse web 27, to which the actuating element 15 is coupled, is thus moved on the curved path in the direction of the contact edge 29.Between the curved wall section and the actuating contour 18, the actuating element 15 can have a stepped cross-sectional contour and taper somewhat. In the hold-open position, the latching contour 22 lies between the contact section 10 and the clamping tab 25 of the clamping limb 7, which has the clamping edge 8. The latching contour 22 thus forms a stop for the clamping leg 7 and prevents a springback of the clamping leg 7 which is induced per se by the restoring force of the clamping spring 5.If an electrical conductor 30 is now inserted into the conductor insertion opening 11 in the conductor insertion direction L and is inserted through the conductor insertion opening 12 into the conductor collection pocket 13, the end face of the electrical conductor 30 strikes with its free end against the release surface 20, which is in alignment F. The spring-elastic holding leg 19 is thus displaced away from the busbar 4 by the release force acting in the conductor insertion direction L, so that the latching contour 22 is likewise displaced. This has the result that the stop for the clamping leg 7 formed by the latching contour 22 is lifted and the clamping leg can spring back towards the contact section 10 due to the restoring force of the clamping spring 5.The bus bar 4 may have a side surface 31 (i.e., a side wall) as shown, which protrudes from the bus bar plane towards the conductor receiving pocket 13.FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of the conductor connection terminal 1 in the hold-open position. It can be seen that the actuating element 15 is displaced into the interior of the insulating material housing 2 on a curved path of the actuating channel 14. The clamping leg 7 is displaced with its clamping tab 25 behind the latching tab 22 and is latched to the latching tab 22 of the holding leg 19.The electrical conductor 30 is inserted into the conductor insertion opening 11, passed through the recess of the actuating leg 17, which is framed on both sides by the edge webs 26 and on the end sides by the transverse web 27 and the clamping tab 25, and projects through the conductor insertion opening 12 into the conductor collection pocket 13. It can be seen that the free end of the electrical conductor 30 abuts the trigger region 20. A release force can thus be exerted in the conductor insertion direction L on the release region 20 and the holding leg 19 can be displaced, so that the latching tab 22 is displaced towards the conductor receiving pocket 13 and releases the clamping tab 25. The clamping leg 7 is thereby unlatched and can spring back again into the closed clamping position toward the contact section 10 by the spring force of the clamping spring 5.In the exemplary embodiment shown, the busbar 4 is formed from a metal sheet bent in an L-shape. From the upper side in which the conductor through hole 12 is formed, a side surface 31 is bent. This creates a guide wall for the inserted electrical conductor 30.FIG. 6 shows a plan view of the conductor connection terminal 1 from FIGS. 1 and 2 in the closed clamping position. It can be seen that the insulating material housing 2 has the conductor insertion opening 11 and the actuating channel 14 lying next to it, both of which extend into the interior of the insulating material housing 2. The actuating element 15 is accommodated displaceably in the actuating channel 14. It can be seen that the pusher head 16 is accessible from the outside of the insulating housing 2. In the closed clamping position, it protrudes out of the insulating material housing 2, so that the clamping state is visible.Furthermore, an optional test opening 24 can be present in addition to the conductor insertion opening 11. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the conductor insertion opening 11 is located between the test opening 24 and the actuation channel 14. the conductor insertion opening 11 can be separated from the actuation channel 14 and / or the test opening 24 by separating walls 28, the at least one separating wall 28 forming a guide inner wall for forming a conductor insertion channel.FIG. 7 shows a plan view of the conductor connection terminal 1 from FIGS. 3 and 4 in the hold-open position with the electrical conductor 30 inserted. the actuating element 15 is displaced into the actuating channel 14 in this case, wherein the pusher head 16 is tilted away from the conductor insertion opening 11 by the curved curved path.List of reference characters1 Conductor connection terminal 2 Insulating material housing 3 Spring force clamping connection 4 Busbar 5 Clamping spring 6 Contact limb 7 Clamping limb 8 Clamping edge 9 Spring bow 10 Contact section 11 Conductor insertion opening 12 Conductor passage opening 13 Conductor collecting pocket 14 Actuating channel 15 Actuating element 16 Pusher head 17 Actuating limb 18 Actuating contour 19 Retaining limb 20 Release region 21 Locking tab 22 Latching contour / latching tab 23 Edge web 24 Test opening 25 Clamping tab 26 Edge web 27 Transverse web 28 Separating wall 29 Contact edge 30 Electrical conductor 31 Side surface B 1 Bend B 2 Bend F Alignment L Conductor insertion direction B Longitudinal extent of the actuating channelReferences included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
