Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a product for producing ice for cooling ice baths, comprising one or more bags made of a flexible, rubber-like, waterproof material, preferably flexible, cold-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), or silicone. The bags are specifically designed to absorb water and convert it into ice by external cooling, in particular by freezing in a freezer. They offer a practical and reusable alternative to conventional ice cube trays or disposable products.

[0002] Each bag is designed to hold up to 1 liter of water. Its external dimensions when empty are approximately 25.5 cm long and 16 cm wide. Before freezing, the bag is flexible, allowing it to be placed in a freezer compartment when closed, thus saving space. After freezing, the contents of the bag become rigid and can be placed directly into an ice bath. This enables efficient and targeted cooling without the need to buy conventional ice cubes.

[0003] The bag features a rubberized closure mechanism that prevents leakage by locking and sealing in an undercut. The closure has a diameter of approximately 3.5 cm, allowing for easy filling. The bag's material is elastic and durable, suitable for temperatures down to -20°C, ensuring safe and long-lasting use.

[0004] The product is always supplied with an ice quantity calculation chart in the form of a flyer. This chart allows the user to determine the required amount of ice depending on the initial water temperature. This simplifies the application and ensures optimal cooling.

[0005] An embodiment of the invention is described with reference to the Fig. 1 to 3 explained. They show: Fig. 1. The top view of the empty ice pack, Fig. 2. The side view of the empty ice pack, Fig. 3. The side view of the filled ice pack. Technical field:

[0006] The invention belongs to the technical field of refrigeration technology and products for the leisure and sports sector, in particular for use in ice baths. State of the art and problem statement:

[0007] Existing solutions for cooling ice baths often rely on the use of conventional ice cubes or disposable products, which are neither sustainable nor efficient. These methods are often expensive, impractical, and environmentally damaging. Description of the invention and solution:

[0008] The present invention offers a sustainable, reusable, and user-friendly solution for cooling ice baths. The bags are easy to handle, space-saving, and allow for targeted cooling. The application is further optimized by combining them with the ice quantity calculation table.

[0009] Advantages of the invention: • The bags are reusable, which reduces environmental impact. • Easy handling thanks to the rubberized locking mechanism. • Space-saving design that makes storage in the freezer easier. • Efficient cooling through targeted application in ice baths. • Combination with an ice quantity calculation table that specifies the required amount of ice depending on the initial temperature of the water and facilitates application.
