AI Technical Summary
The challenge in serial energy-efficient renovation of buildings is the unpredictable dimensional deviations of existing structures, requiring the removal of existing windows and subsequent cladding to ensure air and fire tightness, while avoiding entry into renovated apartments and addressing wind and climate-induced movements.
A frame with a flexible hollow chamber and seal is attached to the facade element, allowing the existing window to remain in place, connected via a tie rod to a rotating sash of a new window for simultaneous operation and cleaning, ensuring airtight and fire-retardant connection.
This solution provides a quick, reliable, and clean method for connecting new windows to existing walls without dismantling, maintaining air and smoke tightness, and enabling easy cleaning of both windows.

Abstract
Description
State of the art
[0001] In the serial energy-efficient renovation of buildings, prefabricated facade elements are often installed on the exterior walls of existing buildings in the factory to achieve improved thermal insulation. To save assembly time on the construction site, components such as windows are usually integrated into the facade elements at the factory.
[0002] To compensate for unevenness in the exterior wall surface, a gap of approximately ten centimeters is usually required between the existing wall and the facade element. In most cases, the existing windows are removed after the facade elements are installed, and the reveal, including the gap between the existing wall and the facade element, is covered with drywall. This cladding must meet high standards of air and vapor tightness, as well as fire protection. Furthermore, the reveal cladding must withstand movements caused, for example, by wind loads on the facade or by climate fluctuations (humidity, temperature).
[0003] According to the current state of the art, the window in the existing wall is usually removed. Then, vapor-tightness is created using a plastic film secured with adhesive tape. Finally, the reveal is covered using drywall construction. Problem / Task
[0004] A high-quality construction project with unpredictable constraints, as is often the case with existing buildings, contradicts the approach of serial renovation. The work requires access to the apartment being renovated and requires extensive protection from dirt and damage. Especially in light of the increased cost and time pressures, coupled with a shortage of skilled workers, the work is often not carried out with the necessary care, leading to time-consuming troubleshooting and rework.
[0005] The technical challenge lies in the unforeseeable dimensional deviations of the existing building combined with high demands on the quality of its airtightness. Furthermore, access to and soiling of the apartments to be renovated must be avoided as much as possible, which would mean that the existing windows cannot be removed. Leaving the windows in the existing wall while placing the facade elements with new windows in front of them would inevitably lead to collisions between the window sashes or problems cleaning the new and old windows in the space between them. Either the sash of the new window must be significantly smaller so that it can be opened inwards through the window frame of the existing window, or the new window must open outwards, which would make it very difficult to clean. Solution
[0006] The invention described here solves the problem of the airtight and fire-retardant connection by means of a frame [1] which is factory-attached to the facade element [2] (drawing 1).
[0007] The side of the frame [1] facing the existing wall [3] features a flexible hollow chamber or foam profile [4] that can compensate for installation dimension tolerances of several centimeters. The profile can be equipped with an additional seal [5] that ensures sufficient air and smoke tightness even on uneven substrates.
[0008] When installing the facade element with the distance specified from the existing wall, the seal [5] or the profile [4] is pressed sufficiently against the existing wall so that no further work step is required for the structural connection of the window reveal.
[0009] The existing window [6] is not dismantled in this solution. Instead, a pull rod [7] is attached to its sash
[14] from the outside (Figure 7) and connected to a pivoting sash [9] of the new window [8]. This allows the new window [8] and the existing window [6] to be opened and closed simultaneously via a kinematic chain. In the open position (Figure 7), the sash of the new window [8] can be cleaned from both sides. This solution offers a fast, reliable, and clean solution for window connections during serial renovations with facade elements. QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE DESCRIPTION

Claims
[1] Device for the rapid structural connection of windows or doors in facade elements to windows or doors in an existing wall [3], so that both windows or both doors can be opened in a single kinematic movement chain. [2] Device according to claim 1, characterized by that the gap remaining between the facade element and the existing wall after installation of the facade element is sealed airtight and smoke-tight by a frame [1] and a flexible profile [4]. [3] Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the profile [4] has an inserted seal [5], which preferably consists of a material, for example a glass fabric, so that the device meets increased requirements for fire protection and / or airtightness. [4] Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized bythat a casement window [8], which is pre-assembled in a facade element [2], is connected to the sash [14] of an existing window [6] by a connecting rod [7] (drawing 7), so that the casement window [9] can be opened and closed synchronously with the existing window [14] and so that the casement window [9] can be cleaned from the interior when both windows are fully open. [5] Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the casement window has opposing and differently polarized magnets [9] on the sash [9] and on the frame [8], which have sufficient attraction to ensure that the window closes tightly. [6] Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized bythat the frame [1] can be movably recessed into a groove [11] of the facade element [2] (drawings 3-5). A seal [5] is attached to the end face of the device facing the existing wall [3]. Circumferential seals [12] are also provided on the outside of the groove [11], which serves to recess the frame. The necessary force, which presses the device against the existing wall [3], is generated by compression springs [13], which are recessed into the end face of the frame [1] facing the groove. During transport of the facade element [2], the frame can be fixed in a fully recessed position using transport locking screws (17), which protects the frame [1] and saves space during transport (drawing 5). [7] Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the frame [1] is designed as a hollow chamber profile [14] with glued seal [15] (drawing 6).
