Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL AREA
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of coating machines, in particular a coating head arrangement and a coating machine. STATE OF THE ART
[0002] Slit extrusion coating is a precise wet coating technology that works on the principle of extruding and ejecting a slurry at a specific pressure and flow rate along a slit in a coating head, thus transferring it onto a substrate. Compared to other coating methods, slit extrusion coating offers numerous advantages, such as fast coating speed, high accuracy, uniform wet thickness, a closed coating system, the ability to prevent contaminant penetration, high slurry utilization, the ability to maintain stable slurry properties, and the ability to adapt to different slurry viscosity and solids content ranges.
[0003] An existing coating head for slot extrusion coating consists of an upper coating head, a lower coating head, and a shim clamped between them. The shim has an opening to form a coating slot, and its height determines the height of the slot. The upper coating head has a concave chamber that connects to an inlet opening in the center of the back of the lower coating head. A slurry enters through the inlet opening, passes through the coating slot after pressure equalization, reaches a coating nozzle lip on the outlet side of the slot, and is extruded, thus depositing it onto a substrate.
[0004] Since the inlet opening in the coating head is located in the center of the rear of the lower coating head, an excessively long flow path and a high pressure drop during the flow of the slurry from the inlet opening towards the two ends of the chamber during chamber pressure equalization result in a large pressure difference between the center of the chamber and the two ends, and a chamber pressure that gradually decreases from the center to the two ends. Furthermore, the coating thickness varies depending on the chamber pressure, causing poor coating uniformity. To simultaneously apply multiple coatings 2 in a three-lane coating or any other coating method where a strip- or web-like coating is desired, as in Fig. As shown in Figure 1, in the prior art, shims of various structures are used to close off some parts of the coating slot in order to achieve web division. However, since the chamber pressure remains unchanged and the feed for the coating head 1 still relies solely on the inlet opening in the middle, this results in more pronounced variations in coating thickness. REVELATION OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The present invention is based on the objective of providing a coating head arrangement and a coating machine in order to solve the prior art technical problem that the feed for a coating head still relies solely on an inlet opening in the middle, which leads to a large pressure difference when a slurry flows from an inlet opening towards the two ends of a chamber within a lower coating head and to a chamber pressure within the chamber that gradually decreases from the middle to the two ends of the chamber, so that the coating thicknesses differ from one another, and in particular, much greater differences in coating thicknesses occur when coating in webs.
[0006] According to a first aspect, the present invention provides a coating head arrangement. It comprises a coating head structure and a distributor; wherein a chamber is provided within the coating head structure and one side of the coating head structure is provided with several inlet openings distributed one after the other along the longitudinal direction of the chamber, each of the inlet openings being connected to the chamber; wherein a cavity, the length of which is less than that of the chamber, is provided within the distributor, and the distributor comprises an inlet side and an outlet side, the inlet side being provided with a total inlet opening which communicates with the cavity, and the outlet side being attached to the side of the coating head structure part provided with the inlet openings; and wherein the outlet side is provided with an outlet opening at at least two positions corresponding to the inlet openings, wherein each of the outlet openings is connected to the cavity and the outlet openings are connected to the inlet openings corresponding to them.
[0007] In an optional embodiment, the coating head assembly further comprises a closure element that serves to form a closure between the individual outlet opening and the respective inlet opening that are connected to each other.
[0008] In an optional embodiment, the inlet openings and outlet openings are each provided in a number of at least three, wherein at most two of the inlet openings are each an activated inlet opening and the remaining inlet openings are each a deactivated inlet opening; wherein at most two of the outlet openings are each an activated outlet opening and the remaining outlet openings are each a deactivated outlet opening; wherein each activated inlet opening is connected to the respective activated outlet opening, and wherein a closure is formed between each deactivated inlet opening and each deactivated outlet opening that are associated with each other by the closure element.
[0009] In an optional embodiment, a stepped recess is provided between each of the outlet openings and an inner wall of the cavity, with one end of the closure element projecting into and resting against the respective stepped recess, while the other end of the closure element projects into the respective inlet opening.
[0010] In an optional embodiment, the inlet openings are provided in an odd number, and among the multiple inlet openings, one inlet opening located in the middle is a main inlet opening, while the remaining inlet openings are secondary inlet openings; wherein the main inlet opening is the activated inlet opening and the secondary inlet openings are the deactivated inlet openings; wherein alternatively two of the secondary inlet openings are the activated inlet openings and the two activated inlet openings are located on two sides of the main inlet opening, while the remaining secondary inlet openings and the main inlet opening are the deactivated inlet openings.
[0011] In an optional embodiment, the coating head assembly further comprises a hollow inlet connection which is provided with an inlet at one end and an outlet at the other end, the outlet of the inlet connection being connected to the overall inlet opening of the distributor.
[0012] In an optional embodiment, the inlet of the inlet connection is a round hole, and both the outlet of the inlet connection and the overall inlet opening of the distributor are kidney-shaped holes.
[0013] In an optional embodiment, the chamber comprises a first chamber and a second chamber, wherein the volume of the first chamber is smaller than the volume of the second chamber, and the first chamber and the second chamber are distributed sequentially from a side of the coating head structure part provided with the distributor to a side facing away from the distributor; wherein the first chamber and the second chamber are connected to each other via a coating slot provided within the coating head structural part.
[0014] In an optional embodiment, it is provided that several locking elements are distributed spaced apart along their longitudinal direction within the first chamber.
[0015] According to a second aspect, the present invention provides a coating machine comprising a coating head arrangement according to one of the preceding embodiments.
[0016] The coating head arrangement according to the invention comprises a coating head structure and a distributor; wherein a chamber is provided within the coating head structure and one side of the coating head structure is provided with several inlet openings distributed one behind the other along the longitudinal direction of the chamber, each of the inlet openings being connected to the chamber; wherein a cavity, the length of which is less than that of the chamber, is provided within the distributor, and the distributor comprises an inlet side and an outlet side, wherein the inlet side is provided with a common inlet opening that is connected to the cavity, and wherein the outlet side is attached to the side of the coating head structure provided with the inlet openings; wherein the outlet side is provided with an outlet opening at at least two positions associated with the inlet openings.and wherein each of the outlet openings is connected to the cavity and the outlet openings are connected to their associated inlet openings. The coating head assembly according to the invention serves to implement a slot extrusion coating. For this purpose, the coating head assembly, as with existing coating heads, is also provided with a coating slot and a coating nozzle lip. In detail, the coating head structural part in the coating head assembly according to the invention comprises a front and a back side, which are opposite each other. The multiple inlet openings on the coating head structural part are formed on the back side of the coating head structural part. The coating slot is also provided in the coating head structural part, which extends from the chamber to the front of the coating head structure, and whose side located at the front of the coating head structure forms the coating nozzle lip, which runs along the longitudinal direction of the chamber. The chamber and the coating nozzle lip are connected to each other via the coating slot. When coating a slurry onto a substrate, the coating nozzle lip of the coating head structure in the coating head arrangement according to the invention can first be positioned on one side of the substrate, and then the slurry can be fed to the overall inlet opening of the distributor, so that the slurry enters the cavity within the distributor. Since the length of the distributor cavity is less than the length of the chamber of the coating head structure,The short flow path of the slurry after it enters the cavity largely prevents a large pressure difference. The cavity can then serve to equalize the pressure of the slurry, allowing it to more easily fill the cavity initially, thus increasing the distribution area of the slurry along the length of the chamber. This allows the slurry to flow quickly and simultaneously towards the multiple outlet openings on the discharge side of the distributor. Furthermore, since the outlet openings are connected to their corresponding inlet openings, the slurry, after flowing out simultaneously from the multiple outlet openings, enters the chamber of the coating head structure component through different inlet openings at the same time, creating multiple inlet points along the length of the chamber. In this way, not only is the flow path of the slurry within the chamber shortened, allowing the chamber to be filled quickly, but also achieves a more uniform distribution of the slurry within the chamber, thus effectively reducing the pressure differential within the chamber, which ensures a more consistent chamber pressure at individual points. After the chamber is filled with slurry, the slurry overflows from different areas of the chamber simultaneously and flows towards the coating slot, after which it flows evenly out of the coating nozzle lip. This ensures a more uniform coating thickness and can effectively improve the uniformity of the coating. It should be noted that the at least two outlet openings formed on the distributor not only serve to divide the flow but can also interact with a web dividing shim, so that each outlet opening is assigned to a web coating slot, thus facilitating web dividing. In this way, the slurry flowing out of the individual outlet openings...The slurry flows more easily and directly and precisely towards each of its assigned web coating slots, effectively shortening the slurry flow path and reducing pressure drop. This makes it easier to maintain a uniform chamber pressure at the positions in the chamber assigned to each web coating slot. This effectively improves the consistency of the coating thickness when coating webs. Furthermore, the distributor according to the present invention can interact with web dividing shims of various structures, facilitating web dividing and shortening the slurry flow path. Therefore, the distributor can effectively increase the slurry flow velocity to prevent slurry buildup and thus effectively improve the coating result.
[0017] In contrast to the prior art, the coating head arrangement according to the invention allows for pressure equalization and then flow division of the slurry via the cavity and the outlet openings of the distributor, so that the slurry enters the chamber simultaneously through different inlet openings. This not only effectively improves the flow path of the slurry, reduces the pressure difference of the slurry within the chamber and increases the uniformity of the coating, but also facilitates web division of the slurry through the interaction of the different outlet openings of the distributor with web division shims of different structures, thus increasing the consistency of the coating in webs.
[0018] The coating machine according to the present invention comprises the coating head arrangement described above, which is why the coating machine according to the invention is characterized by the same advantageous effects as the coating head arrangement described above. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EXECUTION FORMS
[0021] To better understand the problem, the embodiments, and the advantages of the present invention, the embodiments of the exemplary embodiments of the present invention are explained below in full and clearly with reference to the accompanying drawings. It is understood that the described exemplary embodiments represent a subset of the exemplary embodiments of the present invention, rather than all of them. The assemblies of the exemplary embodiments of the present invention, which are described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, can also be arranged and configured in various ways.
[0022] Therefore, the detailed description of the embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings is in no way intended to limit the claimed scope of the invention. Rather, the description merely serves to illustrate selected embodiments of the invention. All other embodiments that can be obtained by a person skilled in the art in this field from the embodiments of the invention without any inventive step are also within the scope of protection of the invention.
[0023] Some preferred embodiments of the present invention are discussed in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Unless there is a contradiction, the exemplary embodiments described below and the features in those embodiments can be combined with one another. Examples of implementation:
[0024] As in Fig. As shown in Figures 2 to 5, a coating head assembly according to the present embodiment comprises a coating head structure part 3 and a distributor 4. ... Fig. As shown in Figure 4, a chamber 30 is provided within the coating head structure part 3. Fig. As shown in Figure 5, one side of the coating head structure part 3 is provided with several inlet openings 31, which are distributed one after the other along the length of the chamber 30. Each of the inlet openings 31 communicates with the chamber 30. A cavity, the length of which is less than that of the chamber 30, is provided within the distributor 4, and the distributor 4 comprises an inlet side 40 and an outlet side 41. The inlet side 40 is provided with a single inlet opening that communicates with the cavity. The outlet side 41 is attached to the side of the coating head structure part 3 provided with the inlet openings 31. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the outlet side 41 is provided with an outlet opening 410 at at least two positions corresponding to the inlet openings 31. Each of the outlet openings 410 is connected to the cavity, and the outlet openings 410 are connected to their corresponding inlet openings 31.
[0025] The coating head assembly according to the present embodiment serves to implement a slot extrusion coating. For this purpose, the coating head assembly, like an existing coating head 1, is also provided with a coating slot and a coating nozzle lip. In detail, the coating head structural part 3 in the coating head assembly according to the invention comprises a front and a back side, which are opposite each other. The multiple inlet openings 31 on the coating head structural part 3 are formed on the back side of the coating head structural part 3. The coating slot is also provided in the coating head structural part 3, extending from the chamber 30 to the front side of the coating head structural part 3, and the side of this slot located on the front side of the coating head structural part 3 forms the coating nozzle lip, which runs along the longitudinal direction of the chamber 30.Chamber 30 and the coating nozzle lip are connected to each other via the coating slot.
[0026] As can be seen from Fig. 4 and Fig. As further provided in Figure 5, the coating head 1 may also comprise a first coating head 32 and a second coating head 33. One side of the second coating head 33 is provided with a recess. By connecting the first coating head 32 to a recessed side of the second coating head 33, the recess can be covered, thus forming the chamber 30. Furthermore, after connecting the first coating head 32 to the second coating head 33, a gap may remain in an area located between the first coating head 32 and the second coating head 33, situated between the chamber 30 and the front of the coating head structure part 3. This gap serves to form the coating slot.
[0027] To facilitate the formation of the coating slot, a shim can be clamped between the first coating head 32 and the second coating head 33. The shim, positioned opposite chamber 30, has openings extending to the front face of the coating head structure part 3. These openings constitute the coating slot. If coating is to be carried out in webs, the coating slot can be divided with respect to the webs by changing the number and size of the openings on the shim. In this case, each opening serves to form a web coating slot. Thus, by using shims with different structures, coatings of various types can be applied in webs. The shim used can also be referred to as a web dividing shim.
[0028] To facilitate shim replacement, in the present embodiment the first coating head 32 and the second coating head 33 are preferably detachably connected to one another. Furthermore, it is provided that the first coating head 32 and the second coating head 33 can be detachably connected to one another by a screw or other fastener. Alternatively, a detachable connection by snap-fit or riveting is conceivable.
[0029] When coating a slurry onto a substrate, the coating nozzle lip of the coating head structure part 3 in the coating head assembly according to the present embodiment can first be positioned on one side of the substrate, and then the slurry can be fed to the overall inlet opening of the distributor 4, so that the slurry enters the cavity within the distributor 4. Since the length of the cavity of the distributor 4 is less than the length of the chamber 30 of the coating head structure part 3, the short flow path of the slurry after it enters the cavity largely prevents a large pressure difference. The cavity can then serve to equalize the pressure of the slurry, so that the slurry more easily fills the cavity completely, thereby increasing the distribution area of the slurry in the longitudinal direction of the chamber 30.Thus, the slurry can flow quickly and simultaneously towards the multiple outlet openings 410 on the outlet side 41 of the distributor 4.
[0030] Furthermore, since the outlet openings 410 are connected to their associated inlet openings 31, the slurry, after simultaneously flowing out of the multiple outlet openings 410, enters the chamber 30 of the coating head structure part 3 simultaneously via different inlet openings 31, thus forming several inlet points along the length of the chamber 30. In this way, not only can the flow path of the slurry within the chamber 30 be shortened, so that the chamber 30 is quickly filled by the slurry, but a more uniform distribution of the slurry within the chamber 30 is also achieved, and thus the pressure difference within the chamber 30 is effectively reduced, resulting in a more uniform chamber pressure at individual points within the chamber 30.After filling chamber 30 with the slurry, the slurry overflows from individual points in chamber 30 simultaneously and flows towards the coating slot, after which it flows evenly out of the coating nozzle lip, which ensures a more uniform coating thickness and can effectively improve the uniformity of the coating.
[0031] It should be noted that the at least two outlet openings 410 formed on the distributor 4 not only serve to divide the flow but can also interact with a web dividing shim, so that each outlet opening 410 is assigned to a web coating slot, thus facilitating web dividing. In this way, the slurry flowing from the individual outlet openings 410 flows more easily and directly and precisely toward its assigned web coating slot, effectively shortening the slurry flow path and reducing the pressure drop. This makes it easier to maintain a uniform chamber pressure at the positions in chamber 30 assigned to the individual web coating slots. As a result, the consistency of the coating thickness during web coating is effectively improved.
[0032] Furthermore, according to the present embodiment, the distributor 4 can interact with web dividing shims of various structures, thereby facilitating web dividing and shortening the slurry flow path. Therefore, the distributor 4 can effectively increase the slurry flow velocity to prevent slurry deposition and thus effectively improve the coating result.
[0033] Compared to the prior art, in the coating head arrangement according to the present embodiment, pressure equalization and then flow division of the slurry can first occur via the cavity and the outlet openings 410 of the distributor 4, so that the slurry enters the chamber 30 simultaneously via different inlet openings 31, which not only effectively improves the flow path of the slurry, reduces the pressure difference of the slurry within the chamber 30 and increases the uniformity of the coating, but also facilitates web division of the slurry through the interaction of the different outlet openings 410 of the distributor 4 with web division shims of different structures and thus increases the consistency of the coating in webs.
[0034] In the present embodiment, the volume of the cavity can be smaller than the volume of chamber 30. If the volume of the cavity is smaller than the volume of chamber 30, the pressure equalization effect of the cavity can be further improved, so that the slurry more easily and quickly fills the cavity completely and then flows simultaneously and evenly towards the multiple outlet openings 410.
[0035] If the volume of the cavity is smaller than the volume of chamber 30, the length of the distributor 4 can also be smaller than the length of the coating head structure part 3. To further improve the pressure equalization effect of the cavity, pressure equalization is only required in the center of the coating head structure part 3 and in an area close to the center, as shown in Fig. Figure 4 shows several inlet openings 31. In this case, the distributor 4 only needs to be dimensioned with respect to its length such that the extent of the cavity is sufficient to cover the multiple inlet openings 31. Compared to the length of the chamber 30, the lengths of the distributor 4 and the cavity are small enough that the slurry can completely fill the cavity within a short time, allowing the slurry to flow quickly and simultaneously through the multiple outlet openings 410 and inlet openings 31 towards specific locations in the chamber 30, thereby increasing the uniformity of the slurry distribution.
[0036] It should also be noted that, in order to further shorten the flow path of the slurry, in the present embodiment the positions of the inlet side 40 and the outlet side 41 of the distributor 4 are preferably opposite each other, in which case the straight-line distance between the total inlet opening and the individual outlet opening 410 on the distributor 4 is the smallest, so that after passing the distributor 4 the slurry has sufficient pressure to flow smoothly in the direction of the coating head structure part 3.
[0037] As can be seen from Fig. 6 and Fig. 7, the coating head arrangement according to the present embodiment further comprises a closure element 5, which serves to form a closure between the individual outlet opening 410 and the respective inlet opening 31, which are connected to each other.
[0038] To ensure that the slurry has sufficient chamber pressure to flow smoothly into chamber 30 when using the coating head assembly, it is conceivable that only one outlet opening 410 and one corresponding inlet opening 31, which are connected to each other, are linked. Alternatively, only two outlet openings 410 and two corresponding inlet openings 31, which are linked to each other, can be linked. The outlet opening 410 and the inlet opening 31 that do not need to be activated can be closed by means of the closing element 5.
[0039] It is thus evident that the closure element 5 according to the present embodiment makes it possible to apply the coating head arrangement to both an operating scenario in which only one outlet opening 410 and one respective inlet opening 31, which are connected to each other, are activated, and an operating scenario in which only two outlet openings 410 and two respective inlet openings 31, which are connected to each other, are activated, which ensures flexible use and high compatibility.
[0040] To ensure the sealing effect of the sealing element 5, in the present embodiment the sealing element 5 is preferably made of a sealing material, for example rubber, silicone, etc.
[0041] As can be seen from Fig. 3 and Fig. As further explained in section 4, in the present embodiment, the inlet openings 31 and the outlet openings 410 are preferably each provided in a number of at least three. At most two of the inlet openings 31 each represent an activated inlet opening 31, and the remaining inlet openings 31 each represent a deactivated inlet opening 31. Similarly, at most two of the outlet openings 410 each represent an activated outlet opening 410, and the remaining outlet openings 410 each represent a deactivated outlet opening 410. Each activated inlet opening 31 is connected to its respective activated outlet opening 410. A closure between each deactivated inlet opening 31 and each deactivated outlet opening 410 that are associated with each other is formed by the closure element 5.
[0042] If the inlet openings 31 and the outlet openings 410 are each provided in a quantity of at least three, it is also possible, depending on the specific application scenario with varying chamber 30 lengths, to select a suitable activated inlet opening 31 and a suitable activated outlet opening 410. For example, the inlet opening 31 located in the middle of the chamber 30 is selected. Alternatively, the inlet openings 31 located between the individual ends and the middle of the chamber 30 on two sides of the chamber 30 are selected. After selecting the activated inlet opening 31 and the activated outlet opening 410, the deactivated inlet opening 31 and the deactivated outlet opening 410 are selected as shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. As shown in Figure 6, the chamber is closed by means of the closure element 5, so that, in the case of a short chamber length, the slurry can enter the chamber 30 via the central position. Alternatively, in the case of a large and varying chamber length, the slurry can enter the chamber 30 simultaneously via positions located between the individual ends and the center of the chamber 30 on two sides of the chamber 30, thus ensuring that the slurry has sufficient pressure to flow into the chamber 30. At the same time, the flow uniformity of the slurry within the chamber 30 is improved.
[0043] It is therefore evident that by using the closure element 5, the coating head arrangement according to the present embodiment can also be adapted to application scenarios with different lengths of the chamber 30.
[0044] To increase the ease of use of the coating head arrangement, the outlet side 41 can be provided with the outlet opening 410 at the positions assigned to the individual inlet openings 31.
[0045] Alternatively, several distributors 4 are provided and at each of the distributors 4, as can be seen from Fig. As 8 results, two outlet openings 410 are provided in each case, although the positions of the outlet openings 410 differ from one another on the several distributors 4. Thus, depending on the length of the chamber 30 in the coating head structure part 3, a corresponding distributor 4 can be selected and the distributor 4 can be detachably connected to the coating head structure part 3.
[0046] To facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the distributor 4, in the present embodiment the distributor 4 and the coating head structure part 3 are preferably detachably connected to one another. Specifically, the distributor 4 and the coating head structure part 3 can be detachably connected to one another by a bolt or other fastening means.
[0047] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 3, a stepped recess 42 is provided between each of the outlet openings 410 and an inner wall of the cavity. One end of the closure element 5 projects into and rests against the respective stepped recess 42, while the other end of the closure element 5 projects into the respective inlet opening 31.
[0048] The individual step recess 42 can serve to limit and reinforce the respective closure element 5, thereby effectively increasing the mounting stability of the closure element 5 on one side of the distributor 4 and thus improving the sealing effect of the closure element 5.
[0049] To enable a better alignment of the locking element 5 with the stepped recess 42, the locking element 5 in the present embodiment comprises, as can be seen from Fig. 7 results, preferably, in a main body and a locking head 50, which is attached to one end of the main body. The locking head 50 and the main body are connected to each other such that the locking element 5 has a T-shaped axial section and the shape of the locking head 50 is adapted to the stepped recess 42.
[0050] It should be noted that, in order to facilitate the disassembly of the closure element 5 between the individual deactivated outlet opening 410 and the respective deactivated inlet opening 31, a threaded recess 51 is preferably provided on an end face of the closure element 5 located within the step recess 42, into which a bolt or other tool with an external thread can be screwed in order to pull out the closure element 5.When disassembling the closure element 5, the distributor 4 can first be separated from the coating head structure part 3, so that the end of the closure element 5 located inside the step recess 42 is removed from the step recess 42, after which the tool described above with external thread is screwed into the threaded recess 51 of the closure element 5 and then the closure element 5 is pulled out of the respective inlet opening 31 of the coating head structure part 3.
[0051] Furthermore, it is provided that the coating head arrangement according to the present embodiment, as shown in Fig. 6 shown, furthermore comprising an annular flat seal 6 which rests against the bottom of the respective step recess 42, wherein the cavity, a hollow part of the flat seal 6 and the respective outlet opening 410 are connected to each other in succession.
[0052] Since the individual deactivated outlet opening 410 is to be fitted with the sealing element 5 during use, and the sealing element 5 can serve for sealing, the annular flat gasket 6 can only be mounted in the stepped recess 42 of the individual activated outlet opening 410. In this case, the flat gasket 6 can seal a gap at the connection point of the distributor 4 and the coating head structure part 3 on the circumferential side of the respective activated outlet opening 410, thus preventing the slurry from escaping along the gap between the distributor 4 and the coating head structure part 3.
[0053] As can be seen from Fig. If the result is 4, the inlet openings 31 are provided in an odd number, and among the multiple inlet openings 31, one inlet opening 31 located in the middle is a main inlet opening 310, while the remaining inlet openings 31 are secondary inlet openings 311. The main inlet opening 310 is the activated inlet opening 31, and the secondary inlet openings 311 are the deactivated inlet openings 31. Alternatively, two of the secondary inlet openings 311 are the activated inlet openings 31, and the two activated inlet openings 31 are located on opposite sides of the main inlet opening 310, while the remaining secondary inlet openings 311 and the main inlet opening 310 are the deactivated inlet openings 31.
[0054] If, in the case of a short chamber 30 in the coating head structure part 3, the use of only one inlet opening 31 is sufficient to achieve a simultaneous chamber pressure, then only one inlet opening 31 can be used as the activated inlet opening 31. In this case, preferably the inlet opening 31 located in the middle of the multiple inlet openings 31 is used as the activated inlet opening 31 to achieve a uniform supply at individual points in the chamber 30. That is, the main inlet opening 310 is used as the activated inlet opening 31, and accordingly, all of the secondary inlet openings 311 function as the deactivated inlet openings 31.
[0055] If, in the case of a large length of the chamber 30 in the coating head structure part 3, the supply using only one inlet opening 31 can hardly guarantee a simultaneous chamber pressure, then two inlet openings 31 can be used as the activated inlet openings 31, in which case the remaining inlet openings 31 function as the deactivated inlet openings 31 and are each closed by the closing element 5.
[0056] If two inlet openings 31 are used as the activated inlet openings 31, preferably two inlet openings 31 located between the center and the single end of the chamber 30 are used as the activated inlet openings 31 to also achieve a uniform supply at individual points in the chamber 30. That is, two secondary main inlet openings 311 located on opposite sides of the main inlet opening 310 are used as the activated inlet openings 31, and accordingly, both the remaining secondary inlet openings 311 and the main inlet opening 310 each function as the deactivated inlet opening 31.
[0057] Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the main inlet opening 310 is preferably located at a position on the coating head structure part 3 associated with the central region of the chamber 30, in order to improve the coating uniformity on two sides of the coating head structure part 3. That is, the main inlet opening 310 is located centrally on the coating head structure part 3, while the secondary inlet openings 311 are divided into two groups, and the two groups of secondary inlet openings 311 are distributed symmetrically on two sides of the main inlet opening 310.
[0058] It should be noted that the outlet openings 410 can also be provided in an odd number, and that the multiple outlet openings 410 are uniquely assigned to the multiple inlet openings 31. Corresponding to the main inlet opening 310, the outlet opening 410 located in the middle among the multiple outlet openings 410 is a main outlet opening 410, while the remaining outlet openings 410 are secondary outlet openings 410. In this case, the multiple outlet openings 410 are activated or closed according to the use and closure of the main inlet opening 310 and the secondary inlet openings 311, and no further explanation is required.
[0059] Among the multiple inlet openings 31, the central inlet opening 31 is the main inlet opening 310, while the remaining inlet openings 31 are the secondary inlet openings 311. The main inlet opening 310 is the activated inlet opening 31, and the secondary inlet openings 311 are the deactivated inlet openings 31. Alternatively, two of the secondary inlet openings 311 are the activated inlet openings 31, and these two activated inlet openings 31 are located on opposite sides of the main inlet opening 310, while the remaining secondary inlet openings 311 and the main inlet opening 310 are the deactivated inlet openings 31.
[0060] As in Fig. 1 and Fig. As shown in Figure 9, the coating head arrangement according to the present embodiment further comprises a hollow inlet connection 7, which is provided at one end with an inlet 70 and at the other end with an outlet 71. The outlet 71 of the inlet connection 7 is connected to the overall inlet opening of the distributor 4.
[0061] The inlet 70 of the inlet port 7 serves for connection to a material supply system. When material supply is required, the slurry can flow sequentially towards the inlet port 7, the distributor 4, and the coating head structure part 3 by starting the material supply system.
[0062] To facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the inlet connection 7, the inlet connection 7 and the distributor 4 are preferably detachably connected to each other in the present embodiment. Specifically, the inlet connection 7 and the distributor 4 can be detachably connected to each other by means of a bolt or other fastening device.
[0063] As can be seen from Fig. 9, it is further provided that the inlet 70 of the inlet connection 7 is a round hole and both the outlet 71 of the inlet connection 7 and the total inlet opening of the distributor 4 are each a kidney-shaped hole.
[0064] The round and kidney-shaped holes allow the slurry to flow into inlet port 7 through the round hole and then out through the kidney-shaped hole. Inlet port 7 then serves to equalize the pressure of the slurry, ensuring that upon entering distributor 4, the slurry is distributed more evenly within the cavity, thus increasing the uniformity of the slurry flow. This results in a more uniform coating thickness as the slurry exits the coating nozzle lip.
[0065] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 10, the coating head arrangement according to the present embodiment can further comprise an annular inlet flat seal 8, which is arranged between the outlet 71 of the inlet connection 7 and the total inlet opening of the distributor 4. A hollow section of the inlet flat seal 8 is in contact with the outlet 71 of the inlet connection 7, and the hollow section of the inlet flat seal 8 is in contact with the total inlet opening of the distributor 4.
[0066] As can be seen from Fig. As shown in Figure 11, chamber 30 comprises a first chamber 300 and a second chamber 301. The volume of the first chamber 300 is smaller than the volume of the second chamber 301, and the first chamber 300 and the second chamber 301 are arranged sequentially from one side of the coating head structure part 3 equipped with the distributor 4 to the side facing away from the distributor 4. The first chamber 300 and the second chamber 301 are connected to each other via the coating slot within the coating head structure part 3.
[0067] Since the first chamber 300 and the second chamber 301 are arranged sequentially from the side of the coating head structure part 3 equipped with the distributor 4 to the side facing away from the distributor 4, the slurry, upon entering the coating head structure part 3 from the distributor 4, first enters the first chamber 300 via the inlet openings 31 of the coating head structure part 3, and then enters the second chamber 301 via the coating slot through which the first chamber 300 and the second chamber 301 are connected. Because the volume of the first chamber 300 is smaller than the volume of the second chamber 301, the first chamber 300 can serve to equalize the pressure of the slurry entering the second chamber 301, thus distributing the slurry more evenly.
[0068] Furthermore, it is provided that within the first chamber 300 several barrier elements 9 are provided spaced apart along their longitudinal direction, as shown in Fig. 11 shown.
[0069] The barrier elements 9 can divide the first chamber 300, thus facilitating web splitting. If the coating head structure part 3 is formed in detail by connecting the first coating head 32 and the second coating head 33 to one another, the uppermost area of the individual barrier element 9 can rest against the bottom of the first coating head 32, thereby dividing the coating slot and thus facilitating web splitting. Alternatively, the uppermost area of the individual barrier element 9 is flush with the uppermost area of the first chamber 300, in which case the uppermost area of the barrier element 9 rests against a web splitting shim between the first coating head 32 and the second coating head 33 and can thus interact with the web splitting shim to divide the coating slot and facilitate web splitting.
[0070] Furthermore, the individual locking element 9 can also serve to separate and lock the slurry within the first chamber 300, thereby further reducing the pressure drop of the slurry assigned to the individual web coating slot and thus improving the coating consistency of the slurry at the positions of the coating nozzle lip assigned to the individual web coating slot.
[0071] To further facilitate track division, in the present embodiment the locking elements 9 are preferably removable and mounted within the first chamber 300. Specifically, each individual locking element 9 can be mounted within the first chamber 300 by means of a bolt or other fastening device.
[0072] It should be noted that if the locking elements 9 are removable and mounted within the first chamber 300, their positions within the chamber 30 are adjustable. For this purpose, the outermost locking element 9 of the multiple locking elements 9 can interact with an outlet opening 410 and an inlet opening 31, which are connected to each other, thereby changing the overall volume of the space within the first chamber 300 used to hold the slurry. For example, the outermost locking element 9 can be moved towards the center of the first chamber 300 and then secured within the first chamber 300. This reduces the overall volume of the space within the first chamber 300 used to hold the slurry. In this way, not only can adjustment to an operating scenario requiring a small coating width be achieved, but the height of the chamber 30 can also be reduced, thus increasing the chamber pressure, which ensures further improved coating uniformity.
[0073] The present embodiment further provides a coating machine comprising a coating head arrangement as described above. The coating machine according to the present embodiment includes the coating head arrangement described above, therefore it can solve the same technical problem and achieve the same technical effects as the coating head arrangement described above. Further explanation is therefore unnecessary.
[0074] Finally, it should be noted that the above embodiments serve only to illustrate the configuration of the present invention without limiting it. Although the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the preceding embodiments, it is understood by those skilled in the art that modifications to the configurations described in the preceding embodiments or equivalent replacements of some or all of the features contained therein are possible. However, such modifications or replacements do not result in the main ideas of the corresponding configurations differing from the scope of the configurations of the individual embodiments of the present invention.
