Description

The present invention relates to a biodegradable partially thermoplastic composite material of casein and / or milk proteins in combination with sheep wool or animal hair in thicknesses of 0.5 mm to 100 mm.More particularly, the invention relates to a biodegradable combi material of casein, its proteins, a carbonate, an additive and mainly of sheep wool or other animal hair. The material comprises:between 5% and 80% by volume of casein and / or caseinate, preferably 55-70%between 12% and 50% water, preferably 15-45%between 10% and 85% sheep wool and / or other animal hairHardening agents and accelerators from the mineral class of water-containing carbonates, preferably 10-30%hydrophobic bioadditives, preferably 0.1-4%, for altering the surface structureThe combination of these components enables a water-repellent biodegradable material having thermoplastic properties and high environmental compatibility.

Claims
