Description

[0001] Common deterrent measures are usually optical, acoustic measures or structural changes such as steel pins or permanently installed spacers, such as pipes mounted on a roof ridge to prevent birds from landing and nesting directly on roofs.

[0002] The above-mentioned measures are used to scare away birds, for example on house roofs.

[0003] However, this still allows birds to land and stay, which can lead to contamination of roofs, terraces or installed photovoltaic systems (PV systems).

[0004] The invention defined in claim 1 is based on the problem of creating a rollable device that prevents birds from landing and staying on rooftops.

[0005] This problem is solved by the features listed in claim 1.

[0006] The invention ensures that the birds have no way of permanently securing themselves when landing on the rolling device installed above the roof ridge, thus preventing soiling of the roof or any installed PV system with animal droppings and nest building. The rolling device is designed to prevent the birds from injuring themselves (humanely deterring).

Claims

[1] Rollable device for the animal-friendly deterrence of birds and for the prevention of net construction characterized by that the landing pole is installed higher than the roof ridge and is mounted so that it can be rolled.
