Description

[0001] Cutting for a one-piece packaging cushion made from a foldable fiber product, especially paper, cardboard, carton and corrugated board, to guarantee the protection and stability of the product during transport.

[0002] In the invention, the cushion is not fixed using fixing tabs on the end faces of the cushion, which are usually used to shape the cushion.

[0003] The self-supporting shape is achieved by folding in a segment on the long sides of the cushion, in which the sides of the cushion element are partially cut. By inserting the tab of the folded segment into the corresponding tab on the opposite side, these lateral cushion elements are fixed in a dimensionally stable manner.

[0004] An embodiment of the invention is described with reference to the Fig. 1-5 explained. They show: Fig. 1 open, flat cut of the packaging cushion Fig. 2 glued cushions in the flat state Fig. 3 Frontal view of the erected cushion with raised chambers Fig. 4 Side view of the erected cushion with dimensionally stable chambers Fig. 5 Side view of the erected cushion with dimensionally stable chambers and fixed insertion flaps

Claims
