[0004] The invention comprises a lock receptacle that can be attached to an existing urban bicycle rack. A locking unit is arranged in the lock receptacle, from which a flexible locking element can be extended.
[0005] The securing element is preferably designed as a textile-covered, cut-resistant rope or strap and is long enough to secure even larger or differently shaped vehicles such as cargo bikes or e-scooters. The textile covering prevents direct contact between the metal parts of the locking unit and the bicycle frame, thus reducing or eliminating damage to the frame.
[0006] The locking unit features an electric actuator that enables the opening and closing of the locking element. The actuator can be controlled wirelessly by an external control unit. Optionally, the device can be integrated into a higher-level system.

[0009] A U-shaped city bike rack is equipped with a lock receptacle containing a lockable locking unit. This unit comprises a textile-covered security element approximately 120 cm long. The locking unit features an electrically operated locking mechanism that can be controlled wirelessly by an external control unit.
[0010] Power is supplied via a battery or a solar panel. An integrated sensor triggers an audible alarm in case of vibration or tampering. The lock is mounted using standardized brackets adapted to the respective bicycle frame. Claims
Device for parking and securing a bicycle, comprising: - a lock receptacle attachable to an existing bicycle rack, - a locking unit arranged therein, - a flexible locking element, characterized in that the locking unit is firmly connected to the bicycle rack and the locking element can be led out of the lock receptacle in order to enclose at least part of the bicycle. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the securing element is designed as a textile-covered, cut-resistant rope, strap or chain, wherein the textile covering is suitable to avoid direct contact between metallic parts of the locking unit and the bicycle frame. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the securing element has a length of at least 100 cm and is suitable for securing cargo bikes or other micromobility vehicles. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the locking unit has an electrically operated actuator for opening and closing the locking element. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the actuator can be controlled via a wireless interface by an external control unit. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a tamper sensor is provided which activates an acoustic alarm unit in the event of unauthorized interference. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the lock receptacle is modular and can be mounted on existing bicycle racks using common tools, without altering or replacing their structure.
