Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a novel sock (1) for the feet, which not only serves as protection but is also designed as a container for a disinfecting liquid. Problem statement:
[0002] Many people suffer from bacterial or fungal infections of the feet (e.g., athlete's foot). Conventional methods such as foot baths are impractical, require bowls and large quantities of liquid, and are not portable. Solution:
[0003] The proposed sock (1) is made of a waterproof, flexible material and is equipped inside with a chamber (2) which can be filled with a disinfecting liquid (3). • The foot is placed in the sock and thus comes into direct contact with the liquid. • After the exposure time, the liquid can be emptied via a valve system (4) or an outlet opening. • The sock is reusable and easy to clean. • Optionally, replaceable inserts (5) can be integrated which are soaked with active ingredients such as chlorhexidine or essential oils.
[0004] The invention thus combines the advantages of a foot bath with the mobility and simplicity of a sock. 3.
