Abstract
Description
[0001] The innovation concerns a bracelet with means for distributing a fragrance and a set comprising a bracelet and a container with a fragrance.
[0002] Bracelets are well known as purely decorative items.
[0003] Furthermore, it is known to apply a fragrance, in particular a perfume, to the skin or clothing of a wearer in order to trigger an olfactory sensation in the wearer or third parties in the vicinity.
[0004] The disadvantage of this method of applying the fragrance is that people with allergic reactions cannot apply fragrances or perfumes directly to their skin. Applying them to clothing is often undesirable, as the fragrances' effects can last for a very long time, and the odor can only be removed by washing the clothing.
[0005] Based on this, the objective of the innovation is to provide a bracelet that enables the safe distribution of a fragrance in a simple and visually unobtrusive manner.
[0006] The object is achieved by a bracelet according to the features of claim 1. A set comprising a bracelet and at least one fragrance container is the subject of the independent claim 7. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.
[0007] According to a first aspect, the innovation relates to a bracelet. The bracelet comprises a bracelet base body which is open in some areas around its circumference. In other words, the bracelet does not form a self-contained ring, but rather has an open area through which two free ends of the bracelet are formed. The bracelet base body has at least one free end at which an opening is formed which provides access to an interior space extending circumferentially into the bracelet base body. A cap which is detachably connectable to the bracelet base body is provided on at least one free end of the bracelet base body. The cap has fixing means for a fragrance carrier. The fixing means are designed such that the fragrance carrier is inserted into the interior space when the cap is fixed to the free end of the bracelet base body. The fragrance carrier is arranged in the interior of the bracelet base body with the cap fixed to the free end of the bracelet base body.
[0008] The key advantage of the innovative bracelet is that it allows the fragrance to be released without having to be applied to the wearer's skin or clothing. By integrating the fragrance carrier into the interior of the bracelet's base, the wearer does not come into contact with the fragrance, and an attractive design is achieved.
[0009] According to one embodiment, the fragrance carrier is rod-shaped and can be inserted into a clamp-type fixing means at one free end. This allows the fragrance carrier to be interchangeably fixed to the cap.
[0010] According to one embodiment, the fragrance carrier is made of an absorbent material so that it can be impregnated with a fragrance. This allows the fragrance carrier to absorb a sufficiently large amount of fragrance to allow the fragrance to be released for a certain period of time when installed, i.e., when arranged in the interior of the bracelet body.
[0011] According to one embodiment, the cap has a cover portion that, when the cap is secured to the free end of the bracelet base, spans the opening of the bracelet base. The cover portion has at least one diffusion opening, which creates a connection between the interior of the bracelet base and the space surrounding the bracelet. This allows the fragrance emitted by the fragrance carrier to escape from the interior of the bracelet base and spread into the area surrounding the bracelet without being visually visible.
[0012] According to one embodiment, the cap has an internal thread by means of which the cap can be screwed onto an external thread formed at the free end of the bracelet base. This allows the cap to be releasably but securely fixed to the bracelet base. Alternatively, a locking mechanism can be provided by means of which the cap can be releasably fixed to the free end of the bracelet base.
[0013] According to one embodiment, the bracelet base has an opening at each of its free ends, each of which provides access to an interior space extending circumferentially into the bracelet base. A cap is provided at each of the free ends, which cap can be releasably connected to the bracelet base and each of which has a fixing means for a fragrance carrier. By inserting a fragrance carrier into both free ends, the amount of fragrance emitted can be increased.
[0014] According to a further aspect, the innovation relates to a set comprising a bracelet according to one of the preceding embodiments and at least one container in which a fragrance is provided.
[0015] According to one embodiment of the set, the container is a resealable container with a cap that is designed both to close a dispensing opening of the container and to be fixed as a cap to the free end of the bracelet base. This dual function makes it possible to use the cap both to close the container and to secure the impregnated fragrance carrier in the bracelet base.
[0016] According to one embodiment of the set, the container is designed such that a fragrance carrier attached to the cap can be inserted into the container via the container's removal opening, and the container's removal opening can be closed by the cap. This allows the container to be closed with the cap and simultaneously impregnate the fragrance carrier attached to the cap with the fragrance.
[0017] According to one embodiment of the set, the set comprises at least one closure element that can be placed on the cap. The closure element is designed to close the at least one diffusion opening provided in the cap. The closure element thus ensures that, when the cap is used as a closure for the container containing the fragrance, no unwanted escape of the fragrance occurs. Instead, the diffusion openings remain closed, allowing the fragrance to be stored with or almost no loss.
[0018] According to one embodiment of the set, the closure element has at least one pin-like extension that is inserted into the diffusion opening when the closure element is placed on the cap, thereby tightly sealing the diffusion opening. This allows the diffusion openings to be closed immediately. Furthermore, the hold of the closure element on the cap can be improved.
[0019] According to one embodiment of the set, the closure element is a sealing cap made of an elastic material. This allows for a high sealing effect while simultaneously securely fixing the closure element to the cap.
[0020] According to one embodiment, the set comprises several fragrance carriers, each of which can be interchangeably inserted into the cap's fixing means via a free end. This allows the fragrance carriers that can be fixed to the cap to be replaced, for example, when a fragrance carrier is worn out or a new fragrance is to be used in the bracelet.
[0021] The terms “approximately”, “essentially” or “about” mean, in the sense of the invention, deviations from the exact value by + / - 10%, preferably by + / - 5% and / or deviations in the form of changes that are insignificant for the function.
[0022] Further developments, advantages, and possible applications of the innovation will also become apparent from the following description of exemplary embodiments and the figures. All described and / or illustrated features, individually or in any combination, are fundamentally the subject of the innovation, regardless of their summary in the claims or their reference back to them. The content of the claims is also incorporated into the description.
[0023] The innovation is explained in more detail below using exemplary embodiments. The figures show: Fig. 1 shows an exemplary and schematic view of a bangle in a plan view; Fig. 2 shows an exemplary and schematic representation of the bracelet according to Fig. 1 in a sectional view in which the interior of the bangle body is visible; Fig. 3 shows an example of a cap of the bracelet in a first representation showing the interior of the cap; Fig. 4 shows an example of the cap of the bangle in a top view of the lid section of the cap; Fig. 5 shows, by way of example, a container for holding a fragrance, on which a cap of the bracelet is arranged; and Fig. 6 shows an example of a closure element for the diffusion-tight closure of the diffusion openings of the cap.
[0024] Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 each show, by way of example and schematically, a bracelet 1. The bracelet 1 comprises a bracelet base body 2. The bracelet base body 2 is designed, for example, to enclose the wearer's forearm in the wrist area. The bracelet base body 2 is not closed around its circumference, but rather has an open area 2a. As a result, the bracelet base body 2 has two free ends 2.1, 2.2. The free ends 2.1, 2.2 are preferably arranged facing one another.
[0025] The bracelet base body 2 has an opening 2.3 at each of the free ends 2.1 and 2.2, through which an interior space 2.4 formed in the bracelet base body 2 is accessible. The interior space 2.4 can be designed as a blind hole. Alternatively, the bracelet base body 2 can be tubular, i.e., the interior space 2.4 extends completely through the bracelet base body 2.
[0026] A cap 3 can be fixed to each of the free ends 2.1, 2.2 of the bracelet base body 2. The fixation can be achieved by means of a snap-in connection or a screw connection. For example, the cap 3 can have an internal thread, by means of which it can be screwed onto an external thread formed at the free end 2.1, 2.2 of the bracelet base body.
[0027] As can be seen from the sectional view of the Fig. 2, the cap 3 serves to introduce and fix a fragrance carrier 4 in the interior 2.4 of the bracelet base body 2. The cap 3 has fixing means 3.1, by means of which the fragrance carrier 4 can be fixed to the free end of the cap 3. When the cap 3 is applied to the free end 2.1, 2.2 of the bracelet base body 2, the fragrance carrier 4 fixed to the cap is pushed into the interior 2.4. Preferably, after the cap 3 has been fixed to the free end 2.1, 2.2, this fragrance carrier 4 is completely accommodated in the interior 2.4 of the bracelet base body 2 and is not visible from the outside.
[0028] Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 show the cap 3 in different representations, namely Fig. 3 a view into the interior of the cap 3, in which the fixing means 3.1 and the internal thread are provided and Fig. 4 an external view of the cover section 3.2.
[0029] The cap 3 has a lid section 3.2, on the inside of which the fixing means 3.1 are provided. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the fixing means 3.1 are formed by a clamping socket into which a free end of a rod-shaped fragrance carrier 4 can be inserted. The opening of the clamping socket is preferably somewhat smaller than the outer dimension of the fragrance carrier 4. This allows the fragrance carrier 4 to be inserted into the clamping socket with its free end, but the fragrance carrier 4 is clamped on the outside so that it is held captive on the cap 3 after insertion. When the cap 3 is placed on the bracelet base 2, the fragrance carrier 4 is inserted into the interior 2.4 and held in the interior 2.4 by the cap.
[0030] The cap 3 also has at least one diffusion opening 3.3 on the cover section 3.2, and in the illustrated embodiment, several diffusion openings 3.3. The diffusion openings 3.3 penetrate the cover section 3.2. The diffusion openings 3.3 have the effect that after the cap 3, which fixes a fragrance carrier 4, is applied to the free end 2.1, 2.2 of the bracelet base body 2 and the associated arrangement of the fragrance carrier 4 in the interior 2.4, the fragrance emitted by the fragrance carrier 4 can escape through the diffusion openings 3.3 from the interior 2.4 of the bracelet base body 2 into the surroundings of the bracelet 1. The fragrance can thus be perceived by the wearer and / or third parties without the fragrance being applied to the wearer's skin or clothing.
[0031] Alternatively or additionally, the diffusion openings can also be provided on the bracelet base body 2 itself. This means that the fragrance can escape from the interior space 2.4 through openings in the wall of the bracelet base body 2.
[0032] The cap 3 can be used both as an end piece on the free end 2.1, 2.2 of the bracelet base body 2 and as a closure for a container 5 which is used to store a fragrance. Fig. 5 shows a container 5, which, for example, forms a fragrance flacon. A removal opening 5.1 of the container 5 is closed by a cap 3, in which a fragrance carrier 4 is fixed. When the cap 3 is arranged on the container 5, the fragrance carrier 4 fixed to the cap 3 extends into the interior of the container 5. If a fragrance is stored in the interior of the container 5, the fragrance carrier 4 is wetted with the fragrance. Preferably, the fragrance carrier 4 is made of an absorbent material and thus absorbs the fragrance not only superficially, but also deeply.
[0033] It may happen that the container 5 is sealed for an extended period of time by means of the cap 3. To prevent the fragrance from being released undesirably through the diffusion openings 3.3 provided in the cap 3, a closure element 6 may be provided, which is designed to close the diffusion openings 3.3.
[0034] Fig. 6 shows such a closure element 6. The closure element 6 forms a sealing cap that can be placed on the cap 3. The sealing cap is placed on the side of the cap 3 facing away from the container 5, i.e., on the lid section 3.2 of the cap 3.
[0035] The closure element 6 is designed, for example, as a sealing cap and is made of an elastomer. The closure element comprises a base section 6a and an edge 6b protruding from the base section 6a. The edge 6b can, for example, be closed circumferentially. The interior space defined by the base section 6a and the edge 6b is dimensioned such that the closure element 6 can be clamped onto the cap 3.
[0036] At least one extension 6.1 protrudes from the base section 6a. The extension 6.1 protrudes in the same spatial direction as the edge 6b. Preferably, the number and arrangement of the extensions 6.1 of the closure element 6 are adapted to the number and arrangement of the diffusion openings 3.3 of the cap 3. When the closure element 6 is placed on the cap 3, one extension 6.1 is inserted into each diffusion opening 3.3. Furthermore, the diameter of the extensions 6.1 is adapted to the diameter of the diffusion openings 3.3 such that the diffusion openings 3.3 are closed in a fluid-tight manner. By applying the closure element 6 to the cap 3, it is achieved that the fragrance provided in the container 5 is not released in an undesired manner via the at least one diffusion opening 3.3, thus preventing the fragrance from escaping during storage.
[0037] The innovation also relates to a set comprising a bracelet 1 and at least one container 5 containing a fragrance. The set preferably comprises several containers 5 containing different fragrances. The set preferably comprises one or more closure elements 6, by means of which the at least one diffusion opening 3.3 of the cap 3 of the container 5 can be closed. The set can also comprise one or more fragrance carriers 4, which can be inserted into the fixing means 3.1 of the cap 3 and can be inserted into the bracelet base body 2 to diffuse a fragrance.
[0038] The innovation has been described above using exemplary embodiments. It is understood that numerous changes and modifications are possible without departing from the spirit underlying the innovation.
