This invention belongs to the field of
plant breeding technology and relates to the transgenic soybean event JK1013-3 and its detection method. This invention provides a
nucleic acid molecule for detecting the transgenic soybean event JK1013-3. The sequence of the
nucleic acid molecule is shown in one or more of SEQ ID NO:1-2, SEQ ID NO:3-4, SEQ ID NO:5, or their complementary sequences. The
nucleic acid molecule originates from the transgenic soybean event JK1013-3, and soybean seeds containing the transgenic soybean event JK1013-3 have been deposited at the China Center for Type Culture Collection (CCTCC) with the accession number CCTCC NO:P202529. Soybean plants containing the transgenic soybean event JK1013-3 of this invention have the following advantages: they contain the human milk β-
casein gene and can stably express human milk β-
casein; they are tolerant to the commonly used commercial herbicide
glufosinate; they do not reduce soybean yield; and they can be used with molecular markers to track transgenic
insertion fragments in the breeding
population and its
offspring. Simultaneously, the detection method provided by this invention can rapidly, accurately, and stably identify the presence of
plant material derived from the transgenic soybean event JK1013-3.
