Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a kitchen appliance having a base part, a preparation vessel, and having a locking device which is suitable and designed to lock the preparation vessel on the base part via a mechanical connection member together with an original cover of the preparation vessel when the original cover is in a predetermined original cover position, and having a detection device for detecting the original cover in the predetermined original cover position. The present invention also relates to a replacement cover for such a food processor, which can be optionally used in place of the original cover.EP 3 875 007 B1 discloses such a food processor. This has a locking device for a preparation vessel, which is connected via a mechanical operative connection to a lid locking device of a lid in such a way that, when the locking device is actuated, the lid locking device is also actuated and the lid reaches the predetermined position and can be locked there.Such a construction has the disadvantage that the lid cannot be locked in a closed position independently of the locking device of the preparation vessel. On the one hand, the cover cannot remain unlocked when the locking device locks the preparation container. The cover cannot be locked manually either, if the locking device does not lock the preparation container. On the other hand, the position of the closed position of the cover for the food processor should be predetermined in order to be able to ensure an operationally reliable cover position during operation of the food processor. A state in which the preparation vessel is locked on the base part without the cover also being locked in the predetermined position cannot be produced with the food processor of the prior art and the cover intended for it.The object of the present invention is therefore to further develop a food processor of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that an operative connection between a locking device and a cover locking device can be optionally canceled. The object is achieved according to the invention in that a replacement cover can be releasably arranged on an opening edge of the preparation vessel, which is suitable and designed to move into a replacement cover position independently of the locking device and to be detected by the detection device.A replacement cover for the preparation vessel can attain its corresponding suitability by virtue of the fact that it does not have a cover locking device for locking the replacement cover. It is sufficient that the replacement cover has, for example, a structure that can cooperate with the mechanical connecting member without a lock.An advantage of the present invention is also that the replacement lid position of the replacement lid is identical to the original lid position of the original lid. As a result, the mechanical connecting member can be used structurally in order to produce an operative connection with the structure of the replacement cover when the replacement cover is in the replacement cover position which is identical to the original cover position. The replacement cover then remains unlocked without a cover locking device. The detection device can thus recognize, with the replacement cover in the replacement cover position, that the replacement cover is placed on the preparation vessel just as an original cover would be placed. However, locking of the replacement cover is not necessary for this purpose.Another advantage of the present invention is also that the replacement lid includes a lid locking device adapted to lock the replacement lid in the replacement lid position by manual actuation. This makes it possible to lock the replacement lid at any time regardless of whether or not the preparation vessel locking device locks the preparation vessel.A further advantage of the present invention is also that the cover locking device forms a locking part of a bayonet lock. Bayonet closures are a typical locking mechanism in the field of electrical kitchen appliances, so that the replacement cover can be used in a wide range of applications. It is also an advantage of the present invention that the replacement cover forms a support surface for a supplementary device, in which a through-opening is formed. As a result, the replacement cover can be used as a base for a large number of supplementary devices, for example for juice extractors, adapters, deflection devices, reduction or reduction gearing, etc.It is also a further advantage of the present invention that the through-opening is formed concentrically with respect to a drive shaft of the base part. As a result, the driving force of the drive shaft can be transmitted to a supplementary device via an extension element and through the through-opening of the replacement cover. It is also an advantage of the present invention that the sensing means is a magnetic switch. Magnetic switches are frequently used to detect certain positions of cooperating components. They are inexpensive and can therefore also be used in a practical manner within the scope of the present invention. The present invention also relates to a replacement cover for a food processor according to claim 1 or claim 2 or claim 3 or claim 4 or claim 5 or claim 7. such a replacement cover is a self-tradeable item and can be traded in the replacement part store or accessory store for such a food processor, for example to replace an original cover advantageously without having to dispense with all functions of the original cover. With the replacement cover, the food processor according to the invention can be used for a much larger field of application than with the original cover. An advantage of the replacement cover is also that the support surface has a circumferential edge which, in a state in which it is placed on the opening edge, engages over the outside of the opening edge. This makes it possible to use the replacement cover without engaging the locking construction of the food processor.A further advantage of the present invention is also that the circumferential edge has a circumferential region in which the detection device is integrated into the circumferential edge. By integrating the detection device into the circumferential edge, the detection device can perform its task in an optimum manner. It is also a practical advantage that a grip projection is formed radially outwards on the circumferential edge in the circumferential region. As a result, the position of the detection device can also be determined optically.Further advantages of the present invention result from the further features of the dependent claims. An embodiment of the present invention will be described below in more detail with reference to the drawings. The following are shown: FIG. 1 shows a schematic illustration of a food processor with a base part, a preparation vessel and an original cover with cover locking device; and FIG. 2 shows a schematic perspective illustration of a replacement cover without cover locking device from below; FIG. 3 shows a schematic perspective illustration of a replacement cover without cover locking device from above; and FIG. 4 shows a schematic top view of a food processor with a replacement cover without a cover locking device from above.FIG. 1 schematically shows a food processor 1. This comprises an electrical drive device (not shown), an energy supply device (not shown) which provides electrical energy required for the operation of the food processor via an energy store and / or a mains connection, and an electronic and / or electrical control device (not shown) which is suitable for controlling an operation of the electrical food processor 1.The electric food processor 1 comprises a base part 3, a preparation vessel 5 with an opening and an opening edge 5.1, an original lid 7 with a lid locking device (not shown) and a locking device 9 which is operatively connected to the original lid 7 via a mechanical connecting member 9.1. The original lid 7 can be arranged with the lid lock on the opening edge 5.1 of the preparation vessel 5 in order to close the opening of the preparation vessel 5.The locking device 9 can be controlled by the control device in such a way that it locks the preparation vessel 5 on the base part 3 if operation of the food processor 1 makes this necessary. The direction of the locking is indicated in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4 by an arrow to the left; the direction of the unlocking is indicated in FIG. 2 by an arrow to the right. An actuation of the locking device 9 can take place automatically or by manual actuation of an electrical switch (not shown). An electrical device and / or electronics required for operating the electrical food processor 1 is generally known in food processors. For example, the electrical device and also the electronics from the prior art mentioned at the beginning can be used with this invention. The mechanical connecting member 9.1 can establish a mechanical operative connection between the locking device 9 and a lid locking device of the original lid 7 when the original lid 7 is placed on the opening edge 5.1 of the preparation vessel 5. The original lid 7 has lid locking means (not shown). The locking device 9 is connected via the mechanical connecting member 9.1 to the cover locking device of the original cover 7. When the locking device 9 is actuated for locking the preparation vessel 5 on the base part 3, the original lid 7 is also locked on the opening edge 5.1 of the preparation vessel 5 via the mechanical connecting member 9.1 and the mechanical operative connection with the lid locking device. The original cover 7 also has a detection device which detects the original cover position after the original cover 7 has been locked and when a predetermined position of the original cover 7 is reached at the opening edge 5.1.When the detection means detects the original lid position, the operation of the food processor 1 can be enabled.FIG. 2 shows a replacement cover 11 for the food processor 1 according to the invention. The replacement lid 11 may be optionally used in place of the original lid 7 with the food processor 1. In the embodiment shown, the replacement cover 11 does not have a cover locking device. In other embodiments, however, the replacement cover 11 can also have a cover locking device which can be actuated manually. The replacement cover 11 has a peripheral edge 11.1, on which at least one stop 11.2 is formed. In the embodiment shown, only one stop 11.2 is formed, but in other embodiments, several stops can also be formed at different points of the peripheral edge 11.1. The number and arrangement of the at least one stop 11.2 on the circumferential edge 11.1 of the replacement cover 11 can be selected depending on a respective original cover and its constructive features. The stop 11.2 is designed as an obstacle in a movement path of the mechanical connecting member 9.1. The replacement cover position at the periphery of the opening edge 5.1 is identical in the embodiment shown to the position that the original cover 7 would assume in the original cover position. In an alternative embodiment, the mechanical connecting member 9.1 can serve with the free end 9.2 as a driver and already abut against the stop 11.2 before the replacement cover position and carry it along into the replacement cover position. The replacement cover 11 also comprises a detection device 11.3, which in the preferred embodiment is a magnetic switch. In the figures, the detection device 11.3 is only denoted by its position. When the free end 9.2 of the mechanical connecting member 9.1 abuts the stop 11.2, the detection device 11.3 detects this state and transmits an electrical control signal to the control device in order to enable the operation of the food processor 1. For example, the speed of the drive device can increase if the free end 9.2 of the mechanical connecting member 9.1 is blocked in its movement. Upon reaching or exceeding a speed threshold value, the detection device 11.3 can detect a state which corresponds to a desired position of the replacement cover 11 and transmit the control signal to the control device in order to activate the operation of the food processor 1. The detection device 11.3 is a magnetic switch in the embodiment shown. In other embodiments, however, the detection device 11.3 can detect the desired position and / or the desired closed position in another manner, for example via a transmitting and receiving device. In another embodiment, the replacement cover 11 also has a replacement cover locking device which is manually actuated independently of the locking device 9 of the preparation container 5. In such a case, the replacement cover 11 must be rotated by hand into the replacement cover position, the position of which at the opening edge 5.1 corresponds to the position of the predetermined original cover position. In this position, the replacement cover 11 is then also locked. The detection device 11.3 is integrated into the circumferential edge 11.1 of the replacement cover 11. In the present embodiment, the stop 11.2 is formed on the circumferential edge 11.1 in the vicinity of the detection device 11.3. The position of the stop 11.2 on the circumferential edge 11.1, however, is not fixed at this position. In the context of the present invention, the stop 11.2 must be formed on an underside 11.4 of the replacement cover 11 depending on the movement path of the mechanical connecting member 9.1. If the mechanical connecting member 9.1 has the free end 9.2, then the stop must be formed in the path of movement of the free end 9.2, at least when the detection device 11.3 is a magnetic switch. If the detection device 11.3 is designed differently from a magnetic switch, the stop 11.2 can also be omitted. The free end 9.2 of the mechanical connecting member 9.1 can then remain free of action. In a circumferential region U of the circumferential edge 11.1, on which the detection device 11.3 is also integrated, a grip attachment 13 is also formed, which extends radially outwards. This grip extension 13 is formed on the peripheral edge 11.1 of the replacement cover 11 and also serves as an optical indicator for the predetermined original cover position.FIGS. 3 and 4 show the replacement cover 11 with a view to an upper side 11.5. A through opening 11.6 is formed between the underside 11.4 and the upper side 11.5. In the embodiment shown, the through-opening 11.6 is formed in the center of the replacement cover 11 and is concentric to a drive shaft (not shown) of the drive device. An annular support surface 11.7 extends around the through-opening 11.6. A supplementary device or accessory can be placed and supported on the support surface 11.7, which can be connected to the drive shaft via the through-opening 11.6, so that a drive force of the drive device is transmitted to a tool of the supplementary device, if necessary, via an extension part.List of reference characters1 Food processor 3 Base part 5 Preparation vessel 5.1 Opening edge 7 Original lid 9 Locking device 9.1 Mechanical connecting member 9.2 Free end 11 Replacement lid 11.1 Peripheral edge 11.2 Stop 11.3 Detection device 11.4 Underside 11.5 Upper side 11.6 Through opening 11.7 Contact surface 13 Grip attachment U Peripheral regionReferences included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
