Abstract

Plastic cup holder, characterized in that it is formed by a container (1) made of an elastic material, the horizontal section of which, which has the shape of a circle at the cup base (3), quickly changes into the shape of a wavy circle towards the cup rim, the container (1) being provided with a suction cup (2) at the bottom.

[0001] The invention relates to a device for stabilizing plastic cups containing pasty foods such as yogurt or quark cream during eating.

[0002] When eating yogurt from a plastic cup, the cup must be held in one hand or held on the table with one hand. This poses problems for young children who can already use a spoon but aren't sure how to handle a cup.

[0003] Known devices for stabilizing cups on a table take the form of a container or stand placed on the table, whose stability is ensured by a solid base or base plate. However, these devices do not adequately secure the position of the cup, either horizontally or vertically.

[0004] The invention is based on the object of constructing a portable cup holder that reliably stabilizes the cup on the table and is suitable for cups of different diameters.

[0005] According to the invention, this object is achieved by a cup holder formed by a container made of an elastic material, the horizontal section of which, at the bottom of the cup, has the shape of a circle, gradually transitioning into a wavy circle toward the rim. The container is provided with a suction cup at the bottom.

[0006] The edge of the suction cup can be provided with a runner to release the cup holder from the table surface. In an advantageous embodiment, the cup holder is made as a monolithic molded part from elastic plastic mass.

[0008] In an advantageous embodiment, the cup holder is manufactured as a monolithic molded part made of elastic plastic. It consists of a container 1 whose horizontal section at the cup base 3 has the shape of a circle, with the horizontal section gradually transitioning into a wavy circle toward the cup rim. The container 1 is provided with a suction cup 2 at the bottom. The edge of the suction cup 2 is provided with a projection 4 for releasing the cup holder from the table surface.

[0009] The material of the cup holder is elastic and resilient, so that the container 1 expands when the cup is inserted, clamping the cup in place. This allows for various cups with slightly different diameters to be inserted. The material of the cup holder allows the lower part of the cup holder to function as a suction cup 2. The edge of the suction cup 2 is provided with a projection 4, which allows the user to easily remove the cup holder from the table.

[1] Plastic cup holder, characterized by that it is formed by a vessel (1) made of an elastic material, the horizontal section of which, at the cup base (3) has the shape of a circle, quickly changes into the shape of a wavy circle towards the cup rim, the vessel (1) being provided with a suction cup (2) at the bottom. [2] Plastic cup holder according to claim 1, characterized by that the edge of the suction cup (2) is provided with a projection (4) for releasing the cup holder from the table surface. [3] Plastic cup holder according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by that it is made as a monolithic molded part from elastic plastic mass.
