Description

[0001] The present invention relates to measuring instruments for determining distances in a direction orthogonal to the reference line, in particular according to claim 1. The main field of application of the present invention is measuring instruments used in construction.

[0002] Laser rangefinders (electro-optical modules) are well known, which are standalone laser measuring devices - modern measuring tools that replace the conventional tape measure and enable high-precision measurement of object dimensions both indoors and outdoors.

[0003] The CONDTROL XP4 Pro laser rangefinder is well-known for its module for measuring distance, area, and volume, with an optical axis that is permanently aligned with the tripod mount and the distance reference point. It includes a signal evaluation circuit, a microprocessor, a memory, a control panel, a display, and a battery.

[0004] Well-known laser rangefinders with digital viewfinder are equipped with a common signal evaluation, a microprocessor and a single graphic display.

[0005] The closest thing to the proposed utility model is a laser rangefinder comprising a distance measuring module with a fixed optical axis with respect to the tripod attachment and the distance starting point, as well as a signal evaluation circuit, microprocessor, memory, control panel, display and battery (see Utility Model RU No. 108836, Class IPC G01C3 / 02, filed on 10 May 2011, published on 27 September 2011, "Laser rangefinder").

[0006] The object of the present invention is to provide a measuring device that enables the transmission of a video image of the measuring object to an external device with a graphic display, while at the same time maintaining the distance measuring function and reducing manufacturing costs.

[0007] The technical result of solving this problem is the development of a laser rangefinder equipped with an autonomous module of a digital viewfinder with an integrated image processing and transmission unit, the optical axis of which is parallel to the optical axis of the rangefinder, and the module is connected to an external device with a graphic display via a Wi-Fi interface.

[0008] The stated problem is solved by installing a known laser rangefinder, which comprises a distance measuring module with a fixed optical axis relative to the tripod mount and the reference point, as well as signal processing, a microprocessor, memory, control panel, display, and battery, according to the utility model, additionally incorporating an autonomous digital viewfinder module with integrated image processing and image transmission, whose optical axis runs parallel to the optical axis of the rangefinder. This module is connected via Wi-Fi to an external device with a graphic display.

[0009] The proposed laser rangefinder can be manufactured in any company specializing in this field, since it uses well-known materials, components and standard equipment produced by domestic and foreign industries.

[0010] Therefore, the laser rangefinder applied for meets the criterion of “industrial applicability”.

[0011] The proposed combination of essential features provides the claimed laser rangefinder with new properties that allow solving the stated problem - namely, the development of a measuring device that enables the transmission of a video image of the measured object to an external device with a graphic display while maintaining the distance measuring function and reducing manufacturing costs compared to existing rangefinders with viewfinders and graphic displays.

[0012] Equipping the laser rangefinder with an autonomous digital viewfinder module with integrated image processing and image transmission simplifies the rangefinder's signal processing.

[0013] Equipping the laser rangefinder with an autonomous digital viewfinder module that can be connected to an external device via Wi-Fi eliminates the need for a costly graphic display.

[0014] The present invention is further explained by the accompanying drawing: Fig. shows a block diagram of the laser rangefinder.

[0015] The laser rangefinder contains a distance measuring module (1), the optical axis of which is fixed for attachment to the tripod and to the reference point, a signal evaluation circuit (2), a microprocessor (3), a memory (4), a control panel (5), a display (6), a battery (7), an autonomous module (8) of a digital viewfinder with integrated image processing and transmission (9) and an external device (10) with a graphic display. How the laser rangefinder works:

[0016] The rangefinder is mounted on a tripod. In mode for measuring distances to distant objects, the rangefinder is switched on together with the autonomous digital viewfinder module (8) with integrated image processing and transmission (9), as well as the external device (10) with a graphic display. The connection between the two is established via Wi-Fi. The rangefinder is aimed at the object to be measured, and the external device (10) is used to precisely align the rangefinder to the object. The measuring process is then started via the control panel (5) or the external device (10).

[0017] The proposed laser rangefinder is characterized by its compact design, handy dimensions, ease of use, high measurement accuracy, versatility and a reduction in the labor required for measuring tasks. QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE DESCRIPTION
