Abstract

Device for the combined chemical and physical treatment of heating water, comprising a fluid-permeable metallic hollow body (1) made of stainless steel with a perforated wall with through-openings (4) and two reversibly connectable housing halves, wherein high-temperature resistant permanent magnets (7) are embedded in the edge region of each housing half, which in the connected state form a magnetic closure along a separation joint (2), and wherein inside the hollow body (1) a replaceable water treatment medium (6) is arranged in a permeable inner container (5) made of stainless steel wire mesh or filter fleece.
