Abstract

A system for securely physically binding a vehicle to a digital vehicle identity and for cross-source verification and seamless traceability of vehicle-related data, characterized in that the system comprises at least one identity binding unit, at least one multi-source validation unit, and at least one origin and integrity chain recording unit, wherein a cryptographically secured digital vehicle identity is generated from at least one hardware-based security unit, at least one vehicle-specific identification information, at least one physical or electrical vehicle fingerprint, and at least one dynamic operating parameter, wherein vehicle-related data from several independent sources is collected, standardized, correlated temporally and in terms of content, released based on defined validity criteria, and all primary data, secondary data, derivations, assessments,Decisions and changes, including origin information, timestamp, digital signature, and checksum, are stored in a tamper-proof data structure, so that only those data records are considered fully verified whose physical origin, cross-source consistency, and complete chain of origin are technically proven.
