Abstract

A cavitary stimulation device for placement in a human body cavity, comprising a flexible, elongated shell body (1) made of an elastic material with an inner cavity (11) extending along a longitudinal axis for receiving an insertion body, characterized in that the inner cavity (11) is essentially free of tapering in a first cross-sectional plane along the longitudinal axis and narrows stepwise from proximal to distal in a second cross-sectional plane perpendicular to the first cross-sectional plane (11b, 11c), wherein the shell body (1) has a continuous ventilation opening at its outermost distal end, opening the inner cavity (11) axially outwards, such thatthat axial insertion of a dimensionally stable insertion body (2) with displacement venting of the cavity (11) causes a radial displacement of the shell body (1) outwards in the direction of the second cross-sectional plane.
