[0001] The present invention relates to a wound care system comprising at least one wound dressing in the form of a folded or rolled gauze and at least one first packaging which encloses the wound dressing at least partially, in particular completely, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Wound gauze is available under brand names such as Cuticell® Classic Wound Gauze, Gazin® Gauze, UrgoTül Gauze Wound Dressing, or as sterile gauze packaged in pouches from Hale&hearty.
