Abstract
Adjustable ratchet wrench, comprising at least a wrench body (10) having a handle (11) and a wrench head (12) located on the handle (11), wherein the wrench head (12) is provided on its end face (121) with a reverse jaw (13) and a forward jaw (14) which are spaced apart, wherein the reverse jaw (13) and the forward jaw (14) have parallel reverse surfaces (131) and forward surfaces (141), wherein the space enclosed by the end face (121), the reverse surface (131) and the forward surface (141) forms an opening (15) for the insertion and removal of the drive section (W0) of the screw element (W), wherein the wrench head (12) and the reverse surface (131) form a curved surface (16), and wherein a receiving groove (160) with the curved surface (16) and the opening (15); a locking latch (20),which is arranged over the guide pin (17) in the receiving groove (160) and has a pressure surface (21) whose curvature corresponds to the curved surface (16), wherein, when the pressure surface (21) slides along the curved surface (16), the pawl (20) can move back and forth, wherein the pawl (20) has within the area of the opening (15) a first jaw (23) and a second jaw (24) which intersect each other, wherein the angle of intersection (θ) between the first jaw (23) and the second jaw (24) must be greater than 120 degrees, and wherein a corner groove (25) is provided at the intersection of the first jaw (23) and the second jaw (24); and a spring (30) that provides a backward-acting preload force for the pawl (20), thereby holding the pawl (20) in its initial position so that the pressure surface (21) of the pawl (20) does not continue to slide backward along the curved surface (16),wherein the first jaw (23) runs parallel to the forward surface (141) so that two parallel sides of the drive section (W0) can bear against it accordingly, thereby effectively driving the screw element (W) forward to rotate, wherein when the handle (11) is returned freely in the reverse direction, the pressure surface (21) can slide along the curved surface (16) forward, wherein the spring (30) can return the pawl (20) to its initial position, thereby allowing the other two parallel sides of the drive section (W0) to bear alternately against the first jaw (23) and the forward surface (141) to drive the screw element (W) alternately forward.
