Facade module for mounting on and cooling building facades by means of storing and evaporating rainwater, comprising: a) an inner shell (1) for attachment parallel to the building facade on a wall side (A), with a flat part (1d), with a left and a right side wall (1b) projecting from the flat part (1d) of the inner shell towards an outer side (B), with a width (E) between the left and right side walls (1b, 1b), b) an outer shell (2) for attachment to the inner shell (1), to form an interior space, c) at least one grate (3) for dividing the interior space into at least two compartments (4), and d) at least one storage device (5) arranged above the inner shell (1), which is designed as a box with a channel-shaped inlet opening (5a) into the interior space, wherein the inlet opening (5a) has a raised section (5b) above the base of the storage device.for the initial accumulation and even distribution of rainwater downwards (D).,
