Abstract
Description
field of technology
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of rope buckles, in particular a rope hook that is easy to install and grip, has a reliable connection and is break-resistant. General state of the art
[0002] A rope hook is an accessory used to connect and adjust the length and tension of ropes, webbing, or wires. Typically, one end of the rope hook is attached to a rope segment, and the other end can be detachably mounted to another rope segment to join the two segments; or the two ends of the rope hook can be detachably mounted to two rope segments to fix the segments together, thus solving the problem of insufficient length of a single rope segment, and by adjusting the length of the rope segment, it can be used to tighten and compress other objects. Technical problems
[0003] Currently, most rope hooks on the market secure a rope by providing an opening at one end through which the rope is inserted, and a buckle section at the other end of the hook, which is attached to another rope to fasten the ropes. Such rope hooks have a simple design. During use, the rope at the fixed end is driven by an external force, which in turn causes the rope hook to rotate, disengaging the buckle section from the rope at the other end and resulting in a failure of the rope hook connection. Furthermore, when a conventional rope hook is in use, the acting force is largely concentrated on the buckle section of the rope hook, and as the acting force increases, the rope hook tends to become overloaded and break, thus shortening its service life.Additionally, due to the small size of the rope hook itself, once the rope hook has been threaded onto a rope, it is often necessary to grasp the entire rope hook and then hook it onto another rope; during this process, the operator's fingers easily block the buckle section of the rope hook, making it difficult to hook the rope hook onto the rope, or the rope can pinch the operator's fingers, causing injury to the operator's fingers and increasing the difficulty of installing and connecting the rope hook. Technical solutions
[0004] Accordingly, there is a need to provide a rope hook that facilitates installation and gripping, provides a reliable connection, and is break-resistant to overcome the shortcomings.
[0005] A rope hook comprising a hook body, wherein the upper section of the hook body is provided with a through-hole extending in the horizontal direction and used for attaching a first rope, the upper section of the hook body projecting beyond the through-hole to define a handle, and two limiting ribs each being provided on two opposite sides of a front surface of the hook body at positions corresponding to an upper side of the through-hole; wherein the lower section of the hook body is bent upwards to form an elastic hook with a large arc construction, and the inner surface of the elastic hook interacts with the hook body to define a hook groove for clamping a second rope; and a line connecting a center point of the through-hole and a center point of the hook groove extends in a vertical direction.
[0006] In one embodiment, the handle is inclined towards the side of the hook body where the elastic hook is located, and the side of the hook body facing away from the elastic hook is an inclined surface that is inclined towards the side near the elastic hook and smoothly transitions into the handle.
[0007] In one embodiment, the inner diameter of the section of the through-hole adjacent to the handle is larger than the inner diameter of the through-hole adjacent to the elastic hook section.
[0008] In one embodiment, the thickness of the hook body between the handle and the elastic hook gradually decreases in a direction towards the elastic hook, and the width of the hook body between the handle and the elastic hook gradually decreases in the direction towards the elastic hook.
[0009] In one embodiment, the thickness of the end of the elastic hook is greater than the thickness of the connecting section between the elastic hook and the hook body, and the width of the end of the elastic hook is smaller than the width of the connecting section between the elastic hook and the hook body.
[0010] In one embodiment, the hook groove is a teardrop-shaped configuration, and the opening of the hook groove is located on an upper section of the teardrop-shaped configuration.
[0011] In one embodiment, a recess hole is provided in the middle section of the hook body, which runs through the front and back and extends from top to bottom, and the width of the upper section of the recess hole is greater than the width of the lower section of the recess hole.
[0012] In one embodiment, a surface of the limiting rib adjacent to the through hole is provided with an arc surface that is adapted to the inner contour of the through hole.
[0013] In one embodiment, the outer contour of the handle is a smooth arc-shaped construction, and the end surface of the elastic hook is concave to form an actuating section.
[0014] In one embodiment, the hook body, the handle and the elastic hook are formed in one piece. Brief description
[0015] The rope hook of the present invention is implemented such that the line connecting the center of the through-hole and the center of the hook groove extends in the vertical direction. When the first rope is fixed and the tension of the second rope increases, the stress acting on the rope hook is distributed evenly across the connecting section between the elastic hook and the hook body, and across the hook body itself. As the force increases, the elastic hook deforms and the opening of the hook groove enlarges until the second rope falls out of the hook groove, thus preventing the problem of rope hook breakage caused by partial overloading and extending the service life of the rope hook.By arranging limiting ribs on both sides of the hook body, when the second rope is subjected to a force in the forward-backward direction, the limiting ribs abut the first rope, thus preventing the first rope from driving the rope hook to rotate around the first rope as its center point. This avoids the problem of rope hook-rope connection failure caused by the rotation of the rope hook and improves the connection stability between the rope hook and the rope. By arranging a handle on the upper section of the hook body, a gripping section is provided when the rope hook is connected to the rope, mitigating finger injuries from rope compression and facilitating hooking, thereby reducing the difficulty of connecting the rope hook and the rope. Detailed description
[0016] To make the aforementioned problems, features, and advantages of the present invention more readily apparent, specific embodiments of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following description presents numerous specific details to facilitate a complete understanding of the present invention. However, the present invention can be implemented in many other ways than those described herein, and those skilled in the art can make similar modifications without departing from the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments disclosed below.
[0017] With reference to Fig. 1 and Fig. Figure 6 of the present invention discloses a rope hook that is easy to install and grip, provides a reliable connection, and is break-resistant. The rope hook can be used to connect and limit net-constructed ropes on the front or side of a backpack and can also be used to connect and secure ropes for storage when used independently. In particular, the rope hook includes a hook body 100, a handle 200 arranged on the upper section of the hook body 100, and an elastic hook 300 arranged on the lower section of the hook body 100. In this embodiment, the hook body 100, the handle 200, and the elastic hook 300 are made of the same material.Preferably, the hook body 100, the handle 200, and the elastic hook 300 are all made of a plastic or metal material capable of elastic deformation. For example, the hook body 100, the handle 200, and the elastic hook 300 are made of a plastic material such as POM, nylon, PE, PET, PC, PVC, or PP. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the hook body 100, the handle 200, and the elastic hook 300 are formed in one piece. Depending on the material used, the hook body 100, the handle 200, and the elastic hook 300 can be formed in one piece using methods such as injection molding. In other words, in this embodiment, the rope hook is an independent, one-piece component made of a single material.
[0018] With further reference to Fig. 1 to Fig.In this embodiment, the upper section of the hook body 100 is provided with a through-hole 110 extending horizontally for receiving the first rope 10. The upper section of the hook body 100 projects beyond the through-hole 110 to form a handle 200, and two limiting ribs 120 are provided on opposite sides of a front surface of the hook body 100 at positions corresponding to an upper section of the through-hole 110. Preferably, the limiting rib 120 has an arcuate surface adjacent to the through-hole 110 that conforms to the inner contour of the through-hole 110, so that the first rope 10, after being tensioned, abuts the arcuate surface of the limiting rib 120, thus preventing relative sliding between them. The lower section of the hook body 100 is bent upwards to form an elastic hook 300 with a large arc design. The inner surface of the elastic hook 300 and the hook body 100 define a hook groove 310 for clamping the second rope 20. The line connecting the center point of the through-hole 110 and the center point of the hook groove 310 extends vertically. In other words, the hook groove 310 is located directly below the through-hole 110. Preferably, the center point of the through-hole 110, the center point of the hook groove 310, and the center of gravity of the rope hook lie on the same straight line.It should be noted that in this embodiment, the front of the hook body 100 is the side facing the operator when the rope hook is positioned in the main view; the rear of the hook body 100 is the side facing away from the operator when the rope hook is positioned in the main view; and the side of the hook body 100 is the side facing the operator or away from the operator when the rope hook is positioned in the side view. The horizontal direction refers to the width direction of the hook body 100, that is, the left-right direction in the main view; the front-back direction refers to the thickness direction of the hook body 100, that is, the left-right direction in the side view; the vertical direction refers to the height direction of the hook body 100, that is, the up-down direction in the main view.
[0019] The aforementioned rope hook extends vertically by defining the line connecting the center of the through-hole 110 and the center of the hook groove 310. When the first rope 10 is fixed and the tension exerted on the second rope 20 in the direction away from the first rope 10 increases, the elastic hook 300 is pulled such that the tensile force acting on the rope hook is distributed evenly across the connecting section between the elastic hook 300 and the hook body 100, and across the hook body 100 itself. As the force increases, the elastic hook 300 deforms, and its distal end moves and opens, thus increasing the opening of the hook groove 310 until the second rope 20 falls out of the hook groove 310.During this process, the force on the rope hook is distributed evenly, which prevents breakage of the rope hook caused by partial overloading and extends the service life of the rope hook.
[0020] Furthermore, a gripping section is provided by a handle 200 on the upper part of the hook body 100 when the rope hook is connected to the rope. During the installation process of the rope hook and rope, the first rope 10 is first passed through the through-hole 110. When the second rope 20 is to be hooked onto the elastic hook 300, a force can be applied to the elastic hook 300 to open it while the handle 200 is gripped, and the elastic hook 300 is then hooked onto the second rope 20. This avoids injury to the operator's fingers caused by rope compression and reduces the difficulty of connecting the rope hook and rope.
[0021] Furthermore, when the first rope 10 is guided through the through-hole 110 and secured, and the second rope 20 is subjected to a force in the forward-backward direction and away from the hook body 100, the second rope 20 will cause the hook to rotate around the first rope 10. In this embodiment, by providing limiting ribs 120 on both sides of the hook body 100, when the hook tends to rotate, the limiting ribs 120 abut the first rope 10, thereby limiting any relative rotation between the hook and the first rope 10 and preventing the first rope 10 from causing the hook to rotate around it. Furthermore, when the hook of this embodiment is positioned on a flat surface, the handle 200 will also abut the flat surface, further limiting the rotation of the rope hook. This prevents a connection failure between the rope hook and the ropes due to rotation of the rope hook and improves the stability of the rope hook when connecting the ropes.
[0022] In one embodiment, the handle 200 is inclined towards the side of the hook body 100 where the elastic hook 300 is located, and the surface of the hook body 100 facing away from the elastic hook 300 is an inclined surface that slopes towards the side closer to the elastic hook 300 and transitions smoothly into the handle 200. This can also be understood as the entire upper section of the rope hook being bent to one side, while the lower section is bent towards the upper section of the rope hook, thus facilitating deformation of the rope hook under external tensile force. Furthermore, the curved design of the overall rope hook construction also facilitates the vertical extension of the line connecting the through-hole 110 and the hook groove 310.
[0023] In this embodiment, the inner diameter of the section of the through-hole 110 adjacent to the handle 200 is larger than the inner diameter of the section of the through-hole 110 adjacent to the elastic hook 300. Thus, when the rope hook connects the first rope 10 and the second rope 20, and one of the first rope 10 and the second rope 20 is tensioned, the first rope 10 is located on the side of the through-hole 110 away from the elastic hook 300 and abuts the inner wall of the through-hole 110. This prevents the first rope 10 from sliding in the through-hole 110 towards the side near the elastic hook 300. Simultaneously, the design with the varying diameter of the through-hole 110 limits the threading and fixing position of the first rope 10, reduces the difficulty of installing the first rope 10, and achieves a weight reduction of the rope hook.Furthermore, the thickness of the section of the hook body 100 between the handle 200 and the elastic hook 300 gradually decreases in the direction towards the elastic hook 300, and the width of the section of the hook body 100 between the handle 200 and the elastic hook 300 gradually decreases in the direction towards the elastic hook 300. In this way, while ensuring the strength of the connecting section between the first rope 10 and the hook body 100 and preventing the edge of the through-hole 110 from being overloaded and breaking, it also provides the operator with a handle 200 with a larger gripping area, thus reducing the difficulty for the operator to grasp the handle 200. Additionally, this also facilitates the elastic deformation of the elastic hook 300 when subjected to an external force, allowing the second rope 20 to be hooked onto the elastic hook 300.
[0024] In one embodiment, the thickness of the end of the elastic hook 300 is greater than the thickness of the connecting section between the elastic hook 300 and the hook body 100, and the width of the end of the elastic hook 300 is less than the width of the connecting section between the elastic hook 300 and the hook body 100. This reduces the difficulty of actuating the elastic hook 300 while preventing the end of the elastic hook 300 from breaking due to overload. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the end of the elastic hook 300 projects toward the interior of the hook groove 310, forming a limiting projection for defining the position of the second rope 20. This limiting projection also forms a section of the hook groove 310, thereby reducing the size of the opening of the hook groove 310 in its natural state and preventing the second rope 20 from disengaging from the hook groove 310.Preferably, the hook groove 310 has a teardrop-shaped design, with the opening of the hook groove 310 located at the top of the teardrop-shaped design. It should be emphasized that in this embodiment, the end surface of the elastic hook 300 is recessed and forms an actuating section 320, and the two side edges of the actuating section 320 are arcuate. In this way, when the second rope 20 is to be hooked onto the elastic hook 300, the operator can press the actuating section 320. After the actuating section 320 has been subjected to a downward force, it will pivot, together with the elastic hook 300, in a direction away from the hook body 100, thereby increasing the opening width of the hook groove 310 so that the second rope 20 can be placed in the hook groove 310.In this construction, the recessed design of the actuating section 320 can prevent slippage when the operator presses the elastic hook 300, thereby reducing the difficulty of installing the second rope 20.
[0025] In one embodiment, a central section of the hook body 100 is provided with a recess 130 extending from top to bottom and through its front and back faces. The width of the upper section of the recess 130 is greater than the width of the lower section. This can also be understood as forming an essentially inverted triangular configuration. The design of the recess 130 facilitates the insertion of the operator's finger into the recess 130 when gripping the hook, thus making it easier for the operator to grasp the rope hook. Furthermore, the recess 130 also serves as a weight-reducing hole for the rope hook, thereby reducing its overall weight.Furthermore, in this embodiment, if the hook is made of plastic, the recess 130 provided in the central section of the hook body 100 allows elastic deformation on both sides of the recess 130 when the first and second ropes are subjected to significant forces or sudden, high tensile forces. This elastic deformation causes the two sides of the recess 130 to move towards the central section of the recess 130, thereby distributing some of the force and preventing the rope hook from breaking.
[0026] Preferably in this embodiment the outer contour of the handle 200 is a smooth arc-shaped construction to prevent the operator's hand from being scratched by the sharp parts of the outer surface of the handle 200 when the operator grips the handle 200 firmly.
[0027] The technical features of the aforementioned embodiments can be combined in any suitable way. To keep the description concise, not all possible combinations of the respective technical features in the foregoing embodiments are described in detail; however, as long as there is no contradiction in the combination of these technical features, all such combinations shall be considered to be within the scope of this description.
[0028] The embodiments described above merely illustrate several implementations of the present invention and are described in a more specific and detailed manner; they should not be interpreted as limiting the scope of the patent. It should be noted that a person skilled in the art could make numerous variations and improvements without departing from the concept of the present invention, all of which fall within the scope of protection of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of protection of the patent for this invention is to be determined by the accompanying claims.
