Abstract

. Combustion grate (10) for an incinerator of a waste incineration plant, wherein the combustion grate (10) has a first edge region and a second edge region opposite the first edge region, wherein the first edge region and the second edge region adjoin the combustion grate (10) laterally and extend in a direction parallel to a conveying direction (12) of the combustion grate, a series of grate blocks extending between the first edge region and the second edge region, wherein the combustion grate comprises a clamping device (30) for the series (16) of grate blocks (18) arranged in the combustion grate (10), wherein the clamping device (30) extends in a longitudinal direction and is designed to maintain the alignment of the series of grate blocks, characterized in thatthat the clamping device comprises a cable (70) with a first cable end region (70a) and a second cable end region (70b) opposite the first cable end region (70a), a first connecting means (40) for connecting the first cable end region (70a) to a side wall (14a) of the first end region, and a second connecting means (50) for connecting the second cable end region (70b) to a side wall (14b) of the second end region.
