Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a guide device for a sliding door with a guide rail that has at least one track for a running part, and with a mounting part that can be inserted into the guide rail at one end. EP 2 781 679 B1 discloses a sliding door fitting in which a sliding door is guided on running parts and can be moved into a retracted position via a braking device with a self-closing mechanism. An activator for coupling the sliding door to the self-closing mechanism is pivotally mounted. When installing sliding doors, there is the problem that the end position of the sliding door can vary depending on the furniture body, depending on whether the sliding door is to cover a side wall of the furniture body or is positioned within the side wall. If the sliding door covers the side wall, the thickness of the side wall can also vary.As a result, the end position relative to the guide rail of such a sliding door fitting can vary depending on the furniture.
[0002] DE 10 2008 012 017 A1 discloses a roller bearing for a sliding door, in which a retaining device with a stop is fixed to a guide rail. This allows a sliding door to be stopped and held at the end of the guide rail.
[0003] DE 202 06 241 U1 discloses a running system for sliding doors with a stopper that can be clamped to the running rail.
[0004] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a guide device for a sliding door which enables flexible positioning of the sliding door relative to the guide rail with regard to the end position.
[0005] This object is achieved with a guide device having the features of claim 1.
[0006] In the guide device according to the invention, a pluggable mounting part is provided at the end of the guide rail, on which at least one mounting element adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail is provided for securing a self-closing mechanism for a running part, or at least two mounting elements offset in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail are provided for securing a self-closing mechanism for a running part. As a result, an end position of a sliding door can be specified via the mounting part, with a self-closing mechanism being mounted on the guide rail to hold a sliding door in an end position. This means that the position of the self-closing mechanism can be specified via the mounting element, which can be adjusted optionally in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail, or several mounting elements can be provided in the longitudinal direction, so that selecting one of the mounting elements specifies the positioning of the sliding door in the subsequently installed position. Furthermore, by arranging at least two mounting elements perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail, a first sliding door can be positioned at a distance from one another in relation to a second sliding door in their respective end positions by mounting self-closing mechanisms themselves in different positions in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail. This means that the desired door offset of a first sliding door relative to a second sliding door can be freely selected. This means that different furniture can be produced with one guide device, which is variable with regard to the final position of the sliding door relative to the guide rail.
[0007] According to the invention, a groove for receiving at least one mounting element is provided adjacent to the raceway. This allows for force transmission with favorable leverage ratios, with the distance between the raceway and the mounting element being small, preferably less than 30 mm or 20 mm, so that even high forces can be introduced into the guide rail via the mounting element. The groove can be undercut with inwardly projecting webs, thus enabling effective installation of the mounting part.
[0008] The mounting part can be easily positioned on the guide rail if it has a wall section that can be placed against the guide rail at the front. The mounting part can then be pushed into the guide rail at the front. The mounting elements are preferably designed as receptacles into which a clamping element can be inserted in order to secure a self-closing mechanism. After positioning, the self-closing mechanism can then be fixed directly to a groove on the guide rail via the receptacle, in particular via a clamping element. The clamping element can be designed as a sliding block, for example a rhombus nut, which can be inserted lengthwise into the groove and then turned until it hits a groove wall, in order to then clamp the sliding block to the groove of the guide rail by tightening a screw.A T-slot nut is an elongated component with an internal thread that can be inserted in the longitudinal direction of the groove and then fixed in the groove.
[0009] Preferably, a flexible tab with at least one opening for fastening means is provided on the at least one wall section of the mounting part, which can be placed on the end face of the guide rail. This allows additional support of the guide rail via the mounting part in order to prevent the guide rail from lifting off when the load changes. Tests have shown that with heavy doors the non-loaded side of the guide rail tends to lift off, for example because a top panel bends. To prevent this, each end-side mounting part can have a tab that is flexible in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail, but is designed to be rigid perpendicular to this, in particular in the vertical direction. The tab is designed to be flexible in the longitudinal direction in order to compensate for manufacturing tolerances on the furniture body or length deviations between the guide rail and the top panel.
[0010] If the mounting part has offset mounting elements, these are preferably formed on a web that is inserted into a groove in the guide rail. Several webs with longitudinally offset mounting elements can also be provided on the mounting part, depending on the number of tracks on the guide rail.
[0011] If the mounting part has a movable mounting element, the mounting part preferably comprises a web that can be inserted into the groove of the guide rail, along which the mounting element can be moved. Markings for positioning the mounting element can be provided on the web, so that during assembly, the web is first inserted into the guide rail and then the mounting element is positioned according to the markings, in order to then fix the self-closing device to the mounting element.
[0012] The invention is explained in more detail below using several exemplary embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show: Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a cabinet with a guide device according to the invention; Figure 2 shows a perspective view of a guide rail with two mounting parts during assembly; Figure 3 shows a view of the guide rail of the Figure 2 with two self-retractors during assembly; Figures 4A and 4B show two perspective views of a mounting part according to a first embodiment; Figures 5A and 5B show two perspective views of a mounting part according to a second embodiment; Figure 6 shows a perspective view of two self-retractors during assembly on the mounting part of the Figure 4 ; Figure 7 a perspective view of two stops not according to the invention during assembly on the mounting part of the Figure 4 ; Figure 8 a perspective view of the assembly of the assembly part of the Figure 4; Figure 9 a perspective view of the assembly of a self-closing mechanism on the guide rail; Figure 10 a perspective view of the assembly of a modified assembly part on the guide rail; Figure 11 a perspective view of the assembly part without the assembly element; Figures 12A and 12B two views of the assembly element of the assembly part of the Figure 10 ; Figure 13 shows a front view of the guide rail with the mounting part; Figures 14A and 14B show two perspective views of a mounting part according to a further embodiment, and Figures 15A and 15B show two perspective views of a mounting part according to a further embodiment.
[0013] A piece of furniture 1 comprises a furniture body 2 having two side walls 4 that are connected to each other in the upper area via a top panel 3. A guide rail 5 is fixed to the top panel 3, on which a rear sliding door 6 and a front sliding door 7 are movably mounted. It is also possible to provide more than just two sliding doors 6 and 7 on a furniture body 2. The sliding door 6 is movable via running parts 60 on a first guide track, and the sliding door 7 is movable via running parts 70 on a second guide track of the guide rail 5. In an end position, the sliding doors 6 and 7 each cover an end face of a side wall 4 on one side or assume a predeterminable distance from each other when arranged in the end position. This end position can be predetermined using a guide device.
[0014] In the Figures 2 and 3The guide rail 5 is shown, onto which a mounting part 9 or 10 is inserted on opposite sides. These mounting parts 9 and 10 serve to fix one or more self-closing devices 20 or stops 40, by means of which an end position of a sliding door 6 or 7 is specified.
[0015] In the Figures 4A and 4B A mounting part 10 is shown in detail. The mounting part 10 comprises a mounting web 11, on which a clamping element in the form of a slotted nut designed as a rhombus nut 12 is held. A screw passes through the mounting web 11 and the rhombus nut 12 to clamp the mounting web 11 firmly after it has been inserted into a channel or groove on the guide rail 5.
[0016] Furthermore, two webs 13 and 17 are provided on the mounting part 10, which can be inserted into corresponding grooves or channels in the guide rail 5. Two mounting elements 15 and 16 are formed on the web 13, which are offset in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 5, i.e., one behind the other. Two mounting elements 18 and 19 are also provided on the web 17, which are also offset in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 5. The mounting elements 15, 16, 18, and 19 are designed as cup-shaped receptacles, but can also be formed by webs, recesses, or other shaped bodies. Both webs 13 and 17 are fastened to a wall 14, which can be placed against the end face of the guide rail 5. The webs 13 and 17 have a different height in relation to the top floor 3, but can also be arranged at the same height.
[0017] In the Figures 5A and 5BA further mounting part 9 is shown, which is fixed to the guide rail 5 on the opposite side to the mounting part 10. The mounting part 9 also comprises two webs 13 and 17, on which mounting elements 15, 16, 18, and 19 are provided. However, the mounting part 9 does not have a mounting web 11 with a clamping element, so that the mounting part 9 can only be loosely inserted into the guide rail 5.
[0018] The mounting part 10 is fixedly arranged on the guide rail 5 via a force-locking fixing, while the mounting part 9 is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 5.
[0019] In Figure 6The assembly of two self-closing mechanisms 20 on the mounting part 10 is shown. Each self-closing mechanism 20 comprises an elongated housing 21 on which a guide track 22 for a driver 23 is formed. The guide track 22 can be linear with an angled end section on which the driver 23 can be pivoted and fixed in a parking position. The driver 23 is preloaded via an energy accumulator, in particular a spring, and can be retracted into a retracted position with braking by means of a damping device 24. Each driver 23 can be coupled to one of the sliding doors 6 or 7 in order to move the sliding door 6 or 7 into an end position and hold it there.
[0020] In order to be able to mount the self-retractor 20 on the mounting part 9 or 10, a clamping element in the form of a slotted nut designed as a rhombus nut 25 is provided on the housing 21, which can be inserted into one of the mounting elements 15, 16, 18 or 19 and is then clamped to the guide rail 5 by turning.
[0021] How Figure 6further shows, for example, a self-closing mechanism 20 for the rear sliding door 6 can be positioned on a mounting element 18 on the web 17 adjacent to the wall 14, while another self-closing mechanism 20 for the front sliding door 7 is positioned on a mounting element 16 on the web 13 further away from the wall 14. In this case, in a depth direction of the furniture body 2, i.e. in a direction parallel to the extension of the wall 14, the mounting elements 15 and 16 on the web 13 are each aligned with the mounting elements 18 and 19 on the web 17. In this way, depending on requirements, a predeterminable door offset or even flushness in the direction perpendicular to the sliding direction of at least two sliding doors 6, 7 in their end positions can be achieved.
[0022] In Figure 7In an embodiment of a guide device not according to the invention, a stop 40 is shown which can be mounted on one of the mounting parts 9 or 10 instead of a self-closing mechanism 20. Each stop 40 comprises a stop element 41 which, in the illustrated embodiment, is designed as a U-shaped holder in which a bolt or other component can be fixed in a locking manner in order to hold a sliding door 6 or 7 in an end position. The stop element 41 is held on a web 42 which, at its end, has a clamping element in the form of a sliding block designed as a rhombus nut 43 which, as previously described, can be clamped onto or fixed in the guide rail 5 by turning it after the desired positioning of the stop 40 relative to one of the mounting elements 15, 16, 18 or 19.
[0023] Depending on which of the mounting elements 15 or 16, or 18 or 19, the self-closing mechanism 20 or the stop 40 is mounted, the end position of the sliding door 6 or 7 is preset. The mounting elements 15 and 16, as well as 18 and 19, can, for example, have a distance of between 20 mm and 40 mm in order to preset a position of the sliding door in front of a front edge of a side wall 4 or next to the side wall 4. Fine adjustment of the end position can then optionally be performed using the running parts 60 and 70.
[0024] In Figure 8 The assembly of the mounting part 10 on the guide rail 5 is shown. The guide rail 5 comprises two tracks 51 and 52, each formed on T-shaped webs. Other geometries for the tracks 51 and 52 are of course also possible. The two tracks 51 and 52 are each arranged between side walls 53 that protrude vertically upward.
[0025] A groove 54 is provided on the side of the guide rail 5, into which a section with the rhombus nut 12 of the mounting web 11 can be inserted. The groove 54 is undercut with inwardly projecting webs that at least partially encompass the mounting web 11. To fix the mounting part 10, the mounting web 11 is inserted into the groove 54, and then the screw with the rhombus nut 12 is turned from the outside until it hits the groove walls and is then clamped to the guide rail 5.
[0026] Adjacent to the track 51, a groove 55 is formed, into which the web 13 can be inserted. Adjacent to the track 52, a groove 56 is formed on the guide rail 5, into which the web 17 is inserted. The mounting elements 15, 16, 18, and 19 are accessible from above after the mounting part 10 has been installed.
[0027] In order to attach a self-retractor 20 or a stop 40 to the fixed mounting part 10, the self-retractor 20 ( Figure 9) or a stop 40 is inserted from above into the respective groove 55 or 56. The installer can now choose whether to use the mounting element 15 or 18 adjacent to the wall 14 or the mounting element 16 or 19 further away from the wall 14 to fix the self-closing mechanism 20. The installation is carried out in such a way that the housing 21 of the self-closing mechanism 20 is inserted into the groove 55 or 56 and is then pre-positioned on the mounting part 10 by the rhombus nut 25 arranged on the underside of the housing 21 assuming the predetermined position in the mounting element 15, 16, 17 or 18. The installer can then turn the screw 26, which in a first step turns the rhombus nut 25 and secures it against lifting at the undercut groove 55 or 56.The rhombus nut 25 is elongated and can only be rotated within a certain angular range in the groove 55 or 56 until it hits the groove walls. Tightening the screw 26 clamps the inwardly projecting webs on the grooves 55 and 56 between the housing 21 and the rhombus nut 25, thus securing the self-closing mechanism 20 in the desired position. After installing the self-closing mechanism 20, the second self-closing mechanism 20 or a stop 40 can now be secured to the other groove 55 or 56.
[0028] In Figure 10A modified embodiment of a mounting part 30 is shown, in which only a single mounting element 33 is provided. This mounting element 33 is slidably mounted on the mounting part 30 in order to be able to preset an end position for a sliding door 6 or 7. The guide rail 5 is designed as in the previous embodiment, and the mounting part 30 can be optionally fixed to one of the grooves 55 or 56.
[0029] The mounting part 30 comprises a web 31, on which a wall 32 is formed, which can be placed against an end face of the guide rail 5. The mounting element 33 is slidably arranged on the web 31.
[0030] How Figure 11As shown, locking receptacles 37 or locking projections are formed on the web 31 to facilitate fixing the mounting element 33 in a desired position. Furthermore, markings 38, for example in the form of numbers, letters, or symbols, are arranged on the web 31 to visualize various mounting positions of the mounting element 33.
[0031] The Figures 12A and 12B The mounting element 33 shown comprises a receptacle 35 between two wall sections 34 and serves to receive a clamping element in the form of a rhombus nut, as described above. On the underside of a base of the mounting element 33 there is a projection 36 that can be inserted into one of the locking receptacles 37 on the web 31.
[0032] To assemble the mounting part 30, the mounting element 33 is arranged on the web 31 and inserted into the groove 55 or 56. Before or after insertion, the mounting element 33 can be aligned on the web 31, with the markings 38 serving to select the appropriate mounting position. In this position, a self-closing device 20 or a stop 40 can now be mounted, which, as in the previous embodiment, is inserted into the mounting element 33 via the rhombus nut 25 or 43, in order to then clamp the rhombus nut 25 or 43 to the grooves 55 or 56 of the guide rail 5 via the screw 26. Optionally, the web 31 can then be pulled out of the guide rail 5 again in order to align another mounting element 33 with the web 31 and fix it to the guide rail 5. Alternatively, the web 31 can also be left in the guide rail 5, as shown in Figure 13 is shown.
[0033] In the Figures 14A and 14BA further embodiment of a mounting part 10' is shown in detail. The mounting part 10' comprises a mounting web 11, on which a clamping element, for example a rhombus nut, is provided to fix the mounting web 11 to a channel or groove on the guide rail 5.
[0034] The mounting part 10' further comprises two webs 13' and 17', which protrude essentially perpendicularly from a wall 14 and can be inserted into grooves or channels of the guide rail 5. Three mounting elements 15, 16, and 115 are formed on the web 13' and are arranged offset in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 5, i.e., one behind the other. Three mounting elements 18, 19, and 118 are also provided on the web 17' and are also arranged offset in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 5. The mounting elements 15, 16, 18, 19, 115, and 118 are designed as cup-shaped receptacles, but can also be formed by webs, recesses, or other shaped bodies. Markings or embossed structures are provided on the base of the mounting elements 15, 16, 18, 19, 115, and 118 to simplify assembly.
[0035] Both webs 13' and 17' are formed integrally with the wall 14, which can be placed against the guide rail 5 at its end face. A flexible tab 45 with at least one opening 46 for the engagement of a fastening means, in particular a screw, is provided on the wall 14. The tab 45 is separated from the wall 14 by slots 47 and 48 and is therefore flexibly movable in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 5, but perpendicular thereto, in particular in the vertical direction, is rigid. The flexibility of the tab 45 in the longitudinal direction serves the purpose of compensating for manufacturing tolerances on the furniture body 2 or length deviations between the guide rail 5 and the top panel 3 when the mounting part 10' is arranged between the guide rail 5 and a wall of a furniture body 2 and then screwed to the furniture body 2.This allows additional support of the guide rail 5 by the mounting part 10' to prevent the guide rail 5 from being lifted off due to bending stress.
[0036] In the Figures 15A and 15B a further embodiment of a mounting part 9' is shown in detail, which is designed similarly to the mounting part 10`, but without the mounting web 11. The same components have been designated with the same reference numerals.
[0037] In the illustrated embodiment, the mounting parts 9, 9', 10, and 10' each comprise two webs 13 and 17, whereby only one web or more than two webs may be provided, on which at least two mounting elements 15, 16 or 18, 19 are provided. Furthermore, the number of mounting elements per mounting part 9, 9', 10, or 10' may also be more than two or three.
[0038] In the illustrated embodiments, slot nuts designed as rhombus nuts 12, 25, and 43 are used, which are rotated via a screw and then clamped to the guide rail 5. It is of course also possible to use other mechanical fastening means or clamping elements to fix the mounting parts 9, 9', 10, 10', the self-closing devices 20, or the stops 40.
