AI Technical Summary
Existing guide systems for folding-sliding doors experience uneven wear and premature failure due to one-sided loads and kinematic issues caused by the weight and adjustment of door leaves, leading to twisting and tilting of the carrier, which affects the support rollers and guide rails.
The guide system decouples the receiving device from the carrier by allowing them to move relative to each other in the longitudinal direction, with separate rollers on each component, supported on distinct catwalks of the guide rail, ensuring that the receiving device remains unaffected by loads and movements of the carrier, and includes a mechanical spring or damping element for further stabilization.
This decoupling and separate roller support system ensures precise movement and reduced wear, maintaining alignment and preventing premature failure of the guide system components, thereby extending the lifespan of the door leaf guidance mechanism.
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a guide system for guiding at least one movably mounted door leaf, in particular a folding-sliding door, relative to a fixed furniture part, comprising: at least one support for the movable mounting of the at least one door leaf, at least one guide rail to be fastened to the fixed furniture part for guiding the at least one support, at least one guide device for the displaceable mounting of the at least one support along the guide rail, at least one carriage which can be coupled to the at least one door leaf, at least one receiving device for receiving the at least one carriage, wherein the at least one receiving device adjoins the at least one support in a longitudinal direction of the at least one support.
[0002] Furthermore, the invention relates to a piece of furniture with a fixed furniture part and with at least one door leaf, which is movably mounted relative to the fixed furniture part by a guide system of the type to be described.
[0003] In WO 2018 / 129575 A1, the applicant's patent application, WO 2018 / 129575 A1, Figures 10a and 10b show a guide system for door leaves with two guide rails running at right angles to each other, wherein a support in the form of an elongated column is provided for supporting at least one door leaf. The support, together with the two door leaves, is mounted such that it can be moved in a depth direction of the furniture body, so that the door leaves can be retracted into a lateral insertion shaft of the furniture body when not in use, in a position running parallel to each other. For this purpose, a guide rail is attached to the side wall of the furniture body, wherein the support is mounted such that it can be moved along the guide rail in the depth direction of the furniture body via a support roller. A carriage that can be coupled to the door leaf can be transferred from a further guide rail, which runs parallel to a front edge of the furniture body, to a receiving device connected to the support. However, depending on the weight of the door leaf, the transition between the additional guide rail and the support's receiving device can be somewhat bumpy. The weight and any adjustments to the position of the door leaf can also cause the support to twist or tilt, causing the support roller to become tilted relative to the first guide rail attached to the side wall. In addition to unfavorable kinematics of the door leaf, this can also lead to one-sided loading of the support rollers, which causes uneven abrasion and thus premature wear of the support roller. Another guide system with the features of the introductory part of claim 1 is disclosed in WO 2018 / 129568 A1.
[0004] The object of the present invention is to provide a guidance system of the type mentioned at the outset while avoiding the disadvantages discussed above.
[0005] This is achieved according to the invention by the features of patent claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims. According to the invention, the at least one receiving device is mounted so as to be movable relative to the carrier in the longitudinal direction of the carrier.
[0006] In other words, the support and the receiving device for the carriage are designed as separate components, which are mounted so that they can be displaced relative to one another to a limited extent in a longitudinal direction of the support. In this way, the support and the receiving device are decoupled from one another, so that the receiving device for the carriage remains largely unaffected by these loads, for example, by a load caused by the weight of the door leaf or by a twisting or inclination of the support caused by an adjustment of the door leaf.
[0007] The guide device of the carrier can have at least one roller which is movably mounted along the guide rail.
[0008] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, it can be provided that the receiving device has at least one support roller which is separate from the guide device of the carrier and which is mounted so as to be movable along the guide rail.
[0009] It can be provided that the guide rail has a first runway and a second runway separate from the first runway, wherein the running roller of the guide device of the carrier is movably mounted along the first runway of the guide rail and the at least one support roller of the receiving device is movably mounted along the second runway of the guide rail. In other words, the bar and the receiving device can each have at least one or more running rollers or support rollers, which can each roll on separate runways of the guide rail. In this way, the decoupling between the carrier and the receiving device can be further improved. If necessary, the running rollers of the carrier and the support rollers of the receiving device can also be supported on separate guide rails that run essentially parallel to one another in an assembled position.
[0010] The carrier and the receiving device are connected to one another in a movement-coupled manner during a movement along the guide rail, wherein it is preferably provided that the carrier and the receiving device are coupled to one another without play during a movement along the guide rail.
[0011] According to one embodiment of the invention, at least one projection can be provided for movable mounting between the carrier and the receiving device in the longitudinal direction of the carrier, wherein the at least one projection is arranged on the carrier or on the receiving device and is displaceably guided in a recess arranged on the receiving device or on the carrier. The projection can, for example, be loosely received in the recess. Alternatively, it is possible for a relative movement between the carrier and the receiving device in the longitudinal direction of the carrier to be dampened by the force of a mechanical spring element or by a damping device (for example by a hydraulic piston-cylinder unit).
[0012] Further details and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of the figures. Fig. 1a, 1b show a perspective view of a piece of furniture with a furniture body and furniture parts movable relative thereto, Fig. 2a, 2b the furniture according to the Figuren 1a, 1b in further positions of the furniture parts to each other, Fig. 3 the guide system in a perspective view, wherein the receiving device is releasably locked to the longitudinal rail, Fig. 4 the guide system according to Fig. 3 , wherein the receiving device is unlocked from the longitudinal rail, Fig. 5 the guide system in a further position of the support 11 in a depth direction of a furniture body, Fig. 6a, 6b the guide system in a side view and a perspective view of the carriage arranged on the receiving device.
[0013] Fig. 1a shows a perspective view of a piece of furniture 1 with a furniture body 2 and a folding-sliding door having movable door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b. The door leaves 3a, 3b and the door leaves 4a, 4b are each movably mounted by a guide system 5 between a first position, in which the door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b are aligned substantially coplanar to one another, and a second position, in which the door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b are aligned substantially parallel to one another. In a second (parallel) position, the door leaves 3a, 3b can be inserted into a lateral receiving compartment 8a of the furniture body 2, while the door leaves 4a, 4b can be inserted into another receiving compartment 8b in a parallel position to one another. The functionality is explained below using door leaves 3a and 3b, whereby the same explanations apply to door leaves 4a, 4b.The guide system 5 comprises a longitudinal rail 7 with a longitudinal direction (L), wherein a carriage 6, which can be coupled to the second door leaf 3b, is mounted so as to be movable along the longitudinal rail 7. In an installed position, the longitudinal rail 7 is arranged substantially horizontally and parallel to a front edge of the furniture body 2.
[0014] Fig. 1b shows the furniture 1, where the door leaves 3a, 3b starting from the Fig. 1a shown coplanar position into an angular position to one another. The first door leaf 3a can, for example, be movably mounted on a support 11 via two or more furniture hinges 10, wherein the support 11 can be inserted into the receiving compartment 8a in a depth direction (Z). In the figure shown, the support 11 is in a transfer position so that the carriage 6 can be moved between the longitudinal rail 7 and the support 11. In the transfer position shown, the support 11 is releasably locked to the longitudinal rail 7, wherein the locking between the longitudinal rail 7 and the support 11 can be released by the carriage 6 entering or onto the support 11. The support 11 is designed in the form of an elongated column whose length corresponds to at least half the height of the door leaves 3a, 3b. The two door leaves 3a, 3b are connected to each other in an articulated manner about a vertical axis via at least one hinge fitting 9.The second door leaf 3b is mounted on the carriage 6 so that it can move along the longitudinal rail 7.
[0015] Fig. 2a shows the furniture 1 with the door leaves 3a and 3b, which are now aligned parallel to each other. The support 11 has been unlocked by the carriage 6 entering the longitudinal rail 7, so that the support 11 (together with the carriage 6 and the door leaves 3a, 3b) can be moved in the depth direction (Z) along a guide rail 17 ( Fig. 3 ) of the guide system 5 can be inserted into the receiving compartment 8a.
[0016] Fig. 2b shows the furniture 1 with the door leaves 3a, 3b, which are now in a fully inserted state in the receiving compartment 8a. The door leaves 3a, 3b are thus guided by the guide system 5 from a first position according to Fig. 1a , in which the door leaves 3a, 3b are aligned substantially coplanar to each other, and a second position according to Fig. 2b , in which the door leaves 3a, 3b are aligned essentially parallel to each other and can be accommodated within the receiving compartment 8a. In this way, for example, a Figuren 2a, 2b The kitchen 12 shown can be completely covered, so that the kitchen 12 can be visually separated from the remaining area of a living space. In the illustrated embodiment, the storage compartment 8a is formed by a side wall 13a and a fixed furniture part 13b spaced parallel to the side wall 13a, wherein the door leaves 3a, 3b can be inserted in a parallel position to one another between the side wall 13a and the fixed furniture part 13b.
[0017] Fig. 3 shows a perspective view of the guide system 5 in the area between the side wall 13a and the fixed furniture part 13b, between which the receiving compartment 8a for receiving the door leaves 3a, 3b is formed. The longitudinal rail 7 has a longitudinal direction (L), which in an assembled position runs parallel to a front edge of the furniture body 2. A guide rail 17 with a longitudinal direction (L2) is mounted on the fixed furniture part 13b, wherein the longitudinal direction (L) of the longitudinal rail 7 and the longitudinal direction (L2) of the guide rail 17 run transversely, preferably substantially at right angles, to each other. The support 11 is designed for the movable mounting of at least one door leaf 3a, wherein the door leaf 3a is connected, for example, via two or more furniture hinges 10 ( Fig. 1b ) is pivotably mounted on the support 11 about an axis extending vertically in the assembled position. The support 11 has at least one guide device 14, by means of which the support 11 is movable along the guide rail 17 in the depth direction (Z) and in a direction opposite to the depth direction (Z). In the figure shown, the guide device 14 of the support 11 has at least one roller 14a, which is movably mounted along a first track 17a of the guide rail 17.
[0018] In the illustrated embodiment, the carrier 11 can be releasably locked to the longitudinal rail 7 via a receiving device 15. The receiving device 15 is designed to receive the carriage 6, so that the carriage 6 can be moved into the receiving device 15 from the longitudinal rail 7. For this purpose, guide grooves 20, 21 can be formed in the longitudinal rail 7, which extend in the longitudinal direction (L) of the longitudinal rail 7 and which, in the transfer position of the receiving device 15, are aligned with corresponding guide grooves 20a, 21a of the receiving device 15. In this way, the rollers 6a, 6b ( Fig. 6b ) of the carriage 6 can be moved without a disturbing abutting edge between the longitudinal rail 7 and the receiving device 15.
[0019] According to the invention, the receiving device 15 is mounted so as to be movable relative to the support 11 in the longitudinal direction (L1) of the support 11. In this way, the receiving device 15 and the support 11 are mounted so as to be displaceable relative to one another in the longitudinal direction (L1) of the support 11, so that the receiving device 15 is decoupled from unwanted torsional movements or lowering movements of the support 11 by a mechanical force exerted on the support 11 (for example, by the weight of the door leaf 3a or by an adjustment device for adjusting a position of the door leaf 3a).This has the consequence that the guide grooves 20, 21 of the longitudinal rail 7 and the guide grooves 20a, 21a of the receiving device 15 always remain aligned with one another in the transfer position when the support 11 is lowered or twisted, thus ensuring precise displacement of the carriage 6 between the longitudinal rail 7 and the receiving device 15.
[0020] For improved decoupling between the receiving device 15 and the carrier 11, it can be provided that the receiving device 15 has at least one support roller 16 which is separate from the guide device 14 of the carrier 11 and is movably mounted along the guide rail 17. It is preferably provided that the guide rail 17 has a first track 17a and at least one second track 17b separate from the first track 17a, wherein the track roller 14a of the guide device 14 is movably mounted along the first track 17a of the guide rail 17 and the at least one support roller 16 of the receiving device 15 is movably mounted along the second track 17b of the guide rail 17.
[0021] The carrier 11 and the receiving device 15 are connected to one another in a movement-coupled manner during a movement along the guide rail 17 in the depth direction (Z). Preferably, it is provided that the receiving device 15 is coupled to one another without play during a movement along the guide rail 17 in the depth direction (Z) and in a direction opposite to the depth direction (Z). For improved support of the carrier 11, at least one further guide rail 18 can be provided, along which at least one further roller 19 of the carrier 11 is movably mounted.
[0022] Fig. 4 shows the guide system 5, wherein the receiving device 15 has been unlocked by the carriage 6 moving in from the longitudinal rail 7, so that the support 11, the receiving device 15, and the carriage 6 mounted on the receiving device 15 for the door leaf 3b have been released for movement in the depth direction (Z). The support 11 can be moved along the first track 17a of the guide rail 17 via the roller 14a, while the support roller 16 of the receiving device 15 can roll along the second track 17b of the guide rail 17. The support 11 can be supported on the further guide rail 18 via at least one further roller 19.
[0023] Fig. 5 shows a further position of the support 11 in the depth direction (Z). The first door leaf 3a is movably connected to the support 11, while the second door leaf 3b, which is articulated to the first door leaf 3a, is guided over the carriage 6. By moving the support 11 in the depth direction (Z), the receiving device 15, the carriage 6 mounted on the receiving device 15, and thus also the two mutually parallel door leaves 3a, 3b can be pushed into the receiving compartment 8a in the depth direction (Z).
[0024] Fig. 6a shows a side view of the guide system 5 in an assembled state, wherein the position of the carrier 11 in the depth direction (Z) of the previous Fig. 5 corresponds. The guide rail 17 with the vertically spaced-apart running tracks 17a and 17b is arranged on the fixed furniture part 13b, wherein the rollers 14a of the support 11 are movable along the first running track 17a and the support rollers 16 of the receiving device 15 are movable along the second running track 17b of the guide rail 17. It can be seen that at least one projection 22 is provided for movable mounting between the support 11 and the receiving device 15 in the longitudinal direction (L1) of the support 11, wherein the at least one projection 22 is arranged on the support 11 or on the receiving device 15 and is slidably guided in a recess 23 arranged on the receiving device 15 or on the support 11. The at least one projection 22 can, for example, be designed as a cylindrical pin which is received in a cylindrical recess 23.In this way, in the event of any twisting of the support 11 about its longitudinal axis (L1), no torque is exerted on the receiving device 15, so that the receiving device 15 remains precisely aligned with the longitudinal direction (L) of the longitudinal rail 7 in the transfer position despite twisting of the support 11 about its longitudinal axis (L1). Of course, two or more projections 22 can also be provided for displaceable mounting between the support 11 and the receiving device 15, which projections are displaceably guided in several corresponding recesses 23.
[0025] Fig. 6bshows the receiving device 15 with the guide grooves 20a and 21a, which in the transfer position of the receiving device 15, in which the receiving device 15 adjoins the longitudinal rail 7 in the longitudinal direction (L), are aligned with the guide grooves 20 and 21 of the longitudinal rail 7. The support roller 16 can be seen, which can be moved along the second running web 17a of the guide rail 17. The support roller 16 can be designed as a concave roller, for example as a double-cone roller, whereby the support roller 16 can be guided precisely and smoothly along the guide rail 17 in the depth direction (Z). The receiving device 15 is designed to receive the carriage 6, which has at least one roller 6a with a vertical axis of rotation and at least one roller 6b with a horizontal axis of rotation.
