Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a fastening device for attaching a privacy screen to a mounting rail of a household appliance, a mounting arrangement for a household appliance with such a fastening device and a household appliance with such a fastening device and / or with such a mounting arrangement.

[0002] For household appliances mounted in furniture, such as a built-in oven, cover plates are often used to conceal the gap between the furniture and the appliance. In this case, gaps are provided between the appliance and the cover plate, as well as between the cover plate and the furniture. For aesthetic reasons, these gaps should ideally have a uniform width. This requires the cover plate to be adjustable.

[0007] IT PN 970 049 A1 describes a household appliance.

[0008] Against this background, one object of the present invention is to provide an improved fastening device.

[0009] Accordingly, a fastening device for attaching a cover plate to a mounting rail of a household appliance is proposed. The fastening device comprises a base body, an eccentric body which is receptacleable in a receiving section of the base body, and a hinge section which connects the eccentric body to the base body, wherein the eccentric body can be folded by means of the hinge section from an initial state in which the eccentric body is arranged outside the receiving section to a final state in which the eccentric body is received in the receiving section.

[0010] Because the eccentric body is connected to the base body via the hinge section, the two bodies are permanently joined. This simplifies the manufacturing of the mounting device. For example, the mounting device can be manufactured cost-effectively as a plastic injection-molded component.

[0011] The cover panel can also be called a decorative panel, design panel, design strip, viewing strip, or decorative strip. The mounting strip can also be called a technical strip. The mounting strip can be connected to the appliance, for example, screwed to it. The mounting strip allows the appliance to be installed in a piece of furniture. Preferably, the appliance has two such mounting strips, positioned on either side of the appliance on its side walls. The appliance could be, for example, an oven, a combination microwave oven, a microwave oven, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a tumble dryer, a refrigerator, a fully automatic coffee machine, a warming drawer, or the like.

[0012] The receiving section is preferably designed as a bore penetrating the base body. That is, the receiving section is preferably circular. Accordingly, the eccentric body is also at least partially cylindrical, so that it can be at least partially received in the receiving section. The hinge section is preferably designed as a film hinge. In this context, a "film hinge" is understood to be a cross-sectional constriction between the base body and the eccentric body, which is so thin-walled that the eccentric body can pivot relative to the base body. Preferably, the eccentric body is pressed into the receiving section to move it from its initial state to its final state. The eccentric body can then lock into place in the receiving section. The eccentric body is rotatably mounted in the receiving section.

[0013] According to one embodiment, the eccentric body is in a zero position in the final state, wherein the eccentric body can be rotated from the zero position to any angular position, and wherein the hinge section shears off when the eccentric body is rotated out of the zero position.

[0014] The hinge section ensures that the eccentric body is always positioned in the zero position within the receiving section of the base body when it is folded from its initial to its final position. Therefore, it is unnecessary to rotate the eccentric body to move it into the zero position. This simplifies the handling of the mounting device.

[0015] According to another embodiment, the base body has a hook-in section for hooking the fastening device into a mounting opening provided on the mounting strip.

[0016] The attachment section is preferably hook-shaped. The attachment section extends from the base body and is integrally connected to the base body, in particular integrally made of the same material. "Integrated" or "monolithic" in this context means that the base body and the attachment section form a single component and are not composed of several components. "Mixed material" in this context means that the base body and the attachment section are manufactured entirely from the same material.

[0017] According to another embodiment, the base body has a locking section for snapping the fastening device into the mounting opening.

[0018] The locking section is elastic, specifically spring-elastic, and deformable. To attach the mounting device to the mounting opening, the hook section is first inserted or hooked into the mounting opening. The locking section is then pressed into the mounting opening, where it deforms spring-elastically and locks or snaps into place.

[0019] According to another embodiment, the fastening device is a one-piece, in particular a one-piece, plastic component.

[0020] Preferably, the fastening device is a plastic injection-molded component. For example, the fastening device can be made of polyethylene (PE), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polypropylene (PP), or another suitable plastic material. Alternatively, the fastening device can also be made of metal.

[0021] According to another embodiment, the base body has spring-elastic deformable snap arms designed to snap into the viewing panel in a form-fitting manner.

[0022] A positive-locking connection is created by the interlocking or overlapping of at least two connecting parts, in this case the snap arms and the lens cover. To connect the lens cover to the mounting device, it is pressed onto the mounting device, causing the snap arms to deform elastically and lock into the lens cover.

[0023] According to another embodiment, the snap arms are connected to each other by means of a spring-elastic deformable spring section.

[0024] The spring section is preferably curved in an arc. The base body, the snap arms, and the spring section are formed in one piece, in particular as a single piece of material.

[0025] According to a further embodiment, the base body has a height positioning section for positioning the fastening device on the screen, wherein the height positioning section is designed to engage positively in recesses provided on the screen.

[0026] In particular, the recesses are provided on the back of the cover plate. The height positioning section is strip-shaped and projects laterally beyond the base body on both sides. The positive engagement of the height positioning section in the recess of the cover plate enables precise vertical positioning of the cover plate on the mounting device.

[0027] According to another embodiment, the eccentric body has an engagement section which is designed to engage positively with the receiving section.

[0028] The engagement section preferably has a cylindrical geometry. The engagement section is rotatably mounted in the receiving section. In particular, the engagement section can snap into the receiving section.

[0029] According to another embodiment, the engagement section has a tool recess in which a tool for rotating the eccentric body can be received.

[0030] The engagement section can be designed to accommodate the blade of a slotted or Phillips screwdriver. This allows for easy rotation of the eccentric body relative to the base body.

[0031] According to another embodiment, the eccentric body has a cylindrical eccentric section which is connected off-center to the engagement section.

[0032] "Off-center" in this context means that the eccentric section and the engagement section do not share a common center axis or axis of symmetry. This means, in particular, that the axes of symmetry of the eccentric section and the engagement section are spaced apart or offset from one another. A disk-shaped intermediate section may be provided between the eccentric section and the engagement section, connecting the engagement section to the eccentric section in one piece, particularly as a single piece of material. A pocket-shaped receiving section may be provided on the base body for the intermediate section, in which the intermediate section is rotatably mounted. The intermediate section preferably has a larger diameter than both the engagement section and the eccentric section.

[0033] According to another embodiment, the eccentric section has a tool recess in which a tool for rotating the eccentric body can be received.

[0034] The tool recess can be designed to accommodate the blade of a slotted or Phillips screwdriver. The tool recess of the engagement section and the tool recess of the eccentric section preferably have two different geometries. For example, the tool recess of the engagement section is designed to accommodate the blade of a slotted screwdriver, and the engagement section of the eccentric section is designed to accommodate the blade of a Phillips screwdriver. The provision of two tool recesses allows the eccentric body to be actuated from either side of the mounting device.

[0035] Furthermore, a mounting arrangement for a household appliance is proposed. The mounting arrangement comprises a mounting rail and a fastening device as previously described, wherein the fastening device is in its final state, wherein the fastening device is attached to the mounting rail, and wherein the fastening device moves linearly relative to the mounting rail when the eccentric body is rotated relative to the base body.

[0036] Here, the eccentric section of the eccentric body is received in the mounting opening of the mounting rail and rests against its side contours. When the eccentric body is rotated relative to the base body, it shifts the mounting device linearly in a horizontal or lateral direction relative to the mounting rail. This allows for easy adjustment of the gap between the cover plate and the furniture, or between the cover plate and a door and / or control panel of the appliance. Preferably, two such mounting assemblies are provided with the appliance, arranged on both sides of the appliance. The mounting assemblies can be screwed to the appliance.

[0037] According to one embodiment, the mounting arrangement includes a cover plate which is connected to the mounting strip by means of the fastening device.

[0038] Preferably, the privacy screen is equipped with two mounting devices arranged one above the other along a vertical axis. Providing two mounting devices improves the adjustability of the privacy screen. The privacy screen can be clipped onto the mounting device(s) after they have been adjusted. The spring-loaded snap arms of the mounting device deform and engage with the privacy screen. Alternatively, the privacy screen can be snapped onto the mounting device before it has been adjusted. In this case, the mounting device can be adjusted from the rear of the mounting strip.

[0039] Furthermore, a household appliance with such a fastening device and / or such a mounting arrangement is proposed.

[0040] As mentioned previously, the household appliance can be any household appliance, such as a stove, an oven, a combination microwave oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a dishwasher, or the like. Preferably, as mentioned previously, the household appliance has two such mounting arrangements and four fastening devices.

[0041] Further advantageous embodiments and aspects of the fastening device, the mounting arrangement, and / or the household appliance are the subject of the dependent claims and the exemplary embodiments of the fastening device, the mounting arrangement, and / or the household appliance described below. The fastening device, the mounting arrangement, and / or the household appliance are further explained below with reference to preferred embodiments and the accompanying figures. Fig. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a household appliance; Fig. 2 shows a schematic front view of the household appliance according to Fig. 1 Fig. 3 shows a schematic perspective exploded view of an embodiment of a mounting arrangement for the household appliance according to Fig. 1 Fig. 4 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a fastening device for the assembly arrangement according to Fig. 3 Fig. 5 shows another schematic perspective view of the fastening device according to Fig. 4 Fig. 6 shows a schematic front view of the fastening device according to Fig. 4 Fig. 7 shows a schematic rear view of the fastening device according to Fig. 4 Fig. 8 shows a schematic detail view of the assembly arrangement according to Fig. 3 Fig. 9 shows a schematic rear view of an embodiment of a privacy screen for the mounting arrangement according to Fig. 3 Fig. 10 shows the detailed view X according to Fig. 9 ; and Fig. 11 shows detail view XI according to Fig. 9 .

[0042] In the figures, identical or functionally equivalent elements have been given the same reference symbols, unless otherwise indicated.

[0043] The Fig. 1 Figure 1 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a household appliance 1. The household appliance 1 could be an oven, a combination microwave oven, a double oven, a microwave cooker, a refrigerator, a fully automatic coffee machine, a warming drawer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a dryer, or the like. However, it is assumed here that the household appliance 1 is a household cooking appliance, such as an oven.

[0044] The household appliance 1 has a cooking chamber 2, which can be closed by means of a door 3. The cooking chamber 2 can also be referred to as a muffle or oven muffle. The cooking chamber 2 can be located inside a housing of the household appliance 1. The door 3 is in the Fig. 1 The door 3 is shown in a closed position. It can be opened or closed by pivoting it around a pivot axis provided at a lower end or a lower edge 4 of the door 3. Alternatively, the door 3 can be hinged laterally to the oven compartment 2. Furthermore, the door 3 can be mounted on a baking trolley that can be pulled out of the oven compartment 2.

[0045] A handle 6 may be provided on an upper section or on an upper edge 5 of the door 3. The cooking chamber 2 has a floor 7, a ceiling 8 opposite the floor 7, a rear wall 9 opposite the closed door 3, and two opposing side walls 10, 11. The cooking chamber 2 is preferably cuboid or cube-shaped. The cooking chamber 2 may be made of a metal material, in particular a sheet of steel.

[0046] The household appliance 1 further comprises control knobs 13, 14 provided on a control panel 12. The control knobs 13, 14 may, for example, be rotatable. A control unit 15, shown only schematically, for controlling the household appliance 1 may be provided on the rear of the control panel 12. The control unit 15 may be a regulating and / or controlling device. A display 16 may also be provided on the control panel 12. The display 16 can show the operating status of the household appliance 1. For example, the display 16 can show a temperature set using one of the control knobs 13, 14.

[0047] As the Fig. 2 As shown, the household appliance 1 can be installed in a piece of furniture 17, of which only two opposing side walls 18, 19 are shown. To conceal the respective gaps between the household appliance 1 and the side walls 18, 19 of the furniture 17, the household appliance 1 includes cover plates 20, 21. The cover plates 20, 21 conceal the gaps between the side walls 18, 19 of the furniture 17 and the household appliance 1. The cover plates 20, 21 can also be referred to as decorative panels, design panels, or trim panels. To achieve a visually appealing design for the household appliance 1 built into the furniture 17, it is necessary that a uniform gap extending over the entire length of the side panel 20 be provided between the side wall 18 and the cover panel 20, as well as between the cover panel 20 and the control panel 12 and the door 3. The same applies to the cover panel 21.

[0048] Household appliance 1 is assigned a coordinate system with an x-direction (or latitude direction x), a y-direction (or vertical direction y), and a z-direction (or depth direction z). The x, y, and z directions are positioned perpendicular to each other. The cover plates 20 and 21 extend as elongated components along the vertical direction y. In order to adjust the aforementioned gaps, it is advantageous to be able to adjust the cover plates 20 and 21 linearly along the latitude direction x.

[0049] The Fig. 3 Figure 1 shows a schematic perspective exploded view of a mounting arrangement 22 for the household appliance 1. Preferably, two such mounting arrangements 22 are provided, arranged on both sides of the household appliance 1. The illustration in the Fig. 3 The mounting arrangement 22 shown, for example, is assigned to and screwed to the side wall 10. Only one mounting arrangement 22 will be discussed below.

[0050] The mounting arrangement 22 comprises, in addition to the cover plate 20, a mounting strip 23. The mounting strip 23 can also be referred to as a technical strip or is itself a technical strip. The mounting strip 23 can be a sheet metal bent component. The mounting strip 23 comprises a flat mounting surface 24 on which the cover plate 20 can be mounted. Two mounting openings 25, 26 are provided in the mounting surface 24. The mounting openings 25, 26 are preferably identical. Viewed along the vertical direction y, the mounting openings 25, 26 are spaced apart from each other.

[0051] Each mounting opening 25, 26 is associated with a fastening device 27. The fastening devices 27 are identical in construction. The cover plate 20 is connected to the mounting rail 23 by means of the fastening devices 27. The fastening devices 27 allow the cover plate 20 to be adjusted along its width x in order to adjust the gap between the side wall 18 of the furniture 17 and the cover plate 20, or between the cover plate 20 and the control panel 12 and the door 3. The fastening devices 27 are positioned between the mounting surface 24 and the cover plate 20. The same applies to the cover plate 21. Only one fastening device 27 is referred to below.

[0052] The Fig. 4 Figure 27 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a fastening device. Fig. 5 Figure 27 shows another schematic perspective view of the fastening device. Fig. 6 shows a schematic front view of the mounting device. Fig. 7 Figure 1 shows a schematic rear view of the fastening device 27. The following refers to the Fig. 4 bis 7 Reference was made at the same time.

[0053] The fastening device 27 is a one-piece, in particular a one-piece, plastic component. "One-piece" or "one-piece" means that the fastening device 27 is not composed of several parts, but rather forms a single component. "One-piece" means that the fastening device 27 is manufactured entirely from the same material. For example, the fastening device 27 can be made of polyethylene (PE), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polypropylene (PP), or any other suitable plastic material.

[0054] The fastening device 27 comprises a base body 28. The base body 28 is essentially rectangular or plate-shaped. The base body 28 has a receiving section 29 in the form of a bore penetrating the base body 28. The receiving section 29 can be circular. In the orientation of the Fig. 5 and 7 A further receiving section 30 is provided on the rear side of the base body 28. However, the receiving section 30 does not completely penetrate the base body 28, but is designed as a pocket provided on the base body 28.

[0055] The base body 28 has a hook-shaped suspension section 31, which allows the fastening device 27 to be suspended in the respective mounting opening 25, 26. The suspension section 31 extends in the orientation of the Fig. 4 bis 7 The mounting section 31 extends from and away from the underside of the base body 28. It is spring-elastic and deformable. A strip-shaped height positioning section 32 adjoins the mounting section 31. The height positioning section 32 extends laterally from both sides of the base body 28 and is designed to engage positively in corresponding recesses provided in the cover plate 20. A positive connection is formed by the interlocking or overlapping of at least two connecting parts, in this case the height positioning section 32 and the recesses of the cover plate 20.

[0056] At an end section of the base body 28 facing away from the suspension section 31 and the height position section 32, two spring-loaded deformable snap arms 33, 34 are provided, which are designed to snap or lock into the viewing panel 20 in a form-fitting manner. The snap arms 33, 34 are connected in one piece, in particular in one piece of material, by means of a spring-loaded deformable spring section 35. The spring section 35 is curved in an arc. The snap arms 33, 34 and the spring section 35 thus enclose a recess 36 that extends through the base body 28.

[0057] A spring-elastic deformable detent section 37 extends into the recess 36 and out of the base body 28. The detent section 37 is preferably designed as a detent hook or snap hook. The detent section 37 is suitable for positive engagement in the corresponding mounting opening 25, 26. Display symbols 38 are distributed around the receiving section 29, of which in the Fig. 4 and 6 Only one of each is provided with a reference symbol. The display symbols 38 can be arrow-shaped, triangular, or bar-shaped.

[0058] In addition to the base body 28, the fastening device comprises an eccentric body 39. The eccentric body 39, in turn, comprises a cylindrical engagement section 40. The engagement section 40 can be pressed into the receiving section 29, causing the eccentric body 39 to snap into the receiving section 29. That is, the engagement section 40 engages positively with the receiving section 29. The engagement section 40 includes a tool recess 41 in which a tool for rotating the eccentric body 39 can be received. The tool recess 41 may be suitable for receiving the blade of a slotted screwdriver. Furthermore, the engagement section 40 includes an indicator symbol 42 and an indicator symbol 43, which indicates a possible direction of rotation of the eccentric body 39. The indicator symbol 42 may be arrow-shaped or triangular.

[0059] In addition to the engagement section 40, the eccentric body 39 comprises a cylindrical eccentric section 44. The eccentric section 44 is arranged off-center with respect to the engagement section 40. That is, the engagement section 40 and the eccentric section 44 do not have a common central axis or axis of symmetry, but rather the axes of symmetry of the engagement section 40 and the axes of symmetry of the eccentric section 44 are spaced apart or offset from each other. The eccentric section 44 also includes a tool recess 45 in which a tool for rotating the eccentric body 39 can be received. In particular, the tool recess 45 is suitable for receiving the blade of a Phillips screwdriver.

[0060] A disc-shaped intermediate section 46 is provided between the engagement section 40 and the eccentric section 44. The intermediate section 46 is cylindrical. The intermediate section 46 and the engagement section 40 share a common axis of symmetry. The diameter of the intermediate section 46 is larger than the diameter of the engagement section 40 and larger than the diameter of the receiving section 29. The diameter of the intermediate section 46 is slightly smaller than the diameter of the receiving section 30, so that the intermediate section 46 can be received within the receiving section 30.

[0061] The eccentric body 39 and the base body 28 are connected to each other in one piece, in particular as a single piece of material, by means of a hinge section 47. The hinge section 47 is in particular a film hinge. In this context, a "film hinge" is understood to be a material constriction or narrowing that is elastically deformable. The eccentric body 39 can thus be pivoted relative to the base body 28 by means of the hinge section 47.

[0062] The operation of the fastening device 27 is explained below. First, the eccentric body 39 is pivoted relative to the base body 28 by means of the hinge section 47 such that the eccentric body 39, in particular the engagement section 40 of the eccentric body 39, is received in the receiving section 29 of the base body 28. For this purpose, the eccentric body 39 is pressed into the receiving section 29, where it locks into place. The intermediate section 46 is also received in the receiving section 30 provided on the rear of the base body 28.

[0063] The eccentric body 39 is thus connected by means of the hinge section 47 from one into the Fig. 4 and 5 the initial state Z1 shown, in which the eccentric body 39 is arranged outside the receiving section 29, into a state in the Fig. 6 and 7shown final state Z2, in which the eccentric body 39, in particular the engagement section 40 of the eccentric body 39, is received in the receiving section 29 and in particular is locked in it.

[0064] As the Fig. 6 As shown, the eccentric body 39 is initially in a zero position NP in the final state Z2, in which the indicator symbol 38 points to the indicator symbol 42. In the zero position NP, the eccentric section 44 is, as shown in the Fig. 7 As shown, the mounting device 27 is arranged centrally on the base body 28 with respect to the width direction x. A fastening device 27 is then hooked into each mounting opening 25, 26 of the mounting strip 23 using the hook section 31. By pressing the respective fastening device 27 into the respective mounting opening 25, 26, the locking section 37 deforms spring-like and snaps into the respective mounting opening 25, 26. The fastening devices 27 are now positively connected to the mounting strip 23.

[0065] Subsequently, the eccentric body 39 can be rotated from the zero position NP either clockwise or counterclockwise using a tool inserted into the tool recess 41. As described in the Fig. 8 As shown, the eccentric body 39 engages with side contours 48, 49 of the respective mounting openings 25, 26. When the eccentric body 39 is rotated, the eccentric section 44 moves in the lateral direction x either to the left or to the right, so that the fastening device 27 itself also moves linearly along the lateral direction x relative to the mounting strip 23. Sufficient clearance is provided between the side contours 48, 49 of the respective mounting openings 25, 26 and the insertion section 31 received therein, as well as the locking section 37, which allows movement of the fastening device 27 relative to the mounting strip 23 along the lateral direction x. By adjusting the two fastening devices 27 differently, the cover plate 20 can be tilted.

[0066] After adjusting the mounting devices 27, the cover plate 20 can be clipped onto the mounting devices 27. As shown in the Fig. 10 und 11 As shown, recesses 50 to 53 are provided on the rear of the cover plate. The height positioning sections 32 of the fastening devices 27 are to be received in the recesses 50 to 53. The following act in the Fig. 10 The upper recesses 50, 51 shown serve as fixed bearings for the sight glass 20, and in the Fig. 11 The elongated lower recesses 52, 53 shown act as loose bearings for the sight glass 20.

[0067] Alternatively, the cover plate 20 can also be mounted on the mounting devices 27 before adjusting them. In this case, the mounting devices 27 can be adjusted using a tool inserted into the tool recess 45 in the orientation of the Fig. 3 Possible from the rear.

[0068] The mounting devices 27 are concealed and not visible, thus enabling an aesthetically pleasing design. The mounting device 27 is infinitely adjustable. The adjustment range is indicated by the display symbols 38 and 42. Once set, the angular position of the eccentric body 39, and therefore also the position of the cover plate 20, remains constant. Precise adjustment is possible because two mounting devices 27 are provided for each cover plate 20 or 21. Since the mounting devices 27 are one-piece components, they can be manufactured particularly cost-effectively, for example, as injection-molded plastic parts. Furthermore, the eccentric body 39 is securely connected to the base body 28 by means of the hinge section 47. Reference symbols used.
