Description
[0001] The present invention relates to an electric handheld power tool with a housing-integrated handle through which a handle axis extends. A receptacle for a battery pack is arranged at one end of the handle. The battery pack supplies power to the electric handheld power tool.
[0002] Electric hand tools of the type mentioned above are generally known from the prior art. Battery protection devices, such as elastic battery housings or corner protectors for the battery pack, are also known.
[0003] Some examples are known from US 2006 / 113100 A1, US 2020 / 215679 A1 or US 2012 / 171539 A1.
[0004] US 2006 / 228936 A1 discloses the preamble of claim 1.
[0005] It is an object of the present invention to provide an electric hand-held power tool which provides a basis for battery protection with comparatively compact dimensions or dimensions of the hand-held power tool.
[0006] The object is achieved in that the receiving bay is movably mounted in the handle end along the handle axis, and wherein the hand tool has a compression spring which is arranged coaxially to the guide sleeve.
[0007] The invention incorporates the recognition that previously known battery protection devices typically require a comparatively larger volume for the handheld power tool, or at least for the battery pack. Thus, while such battery packs are shockproof, comfortable working in compact workspaces is often difficult. This is avoided in the handheld power tool according to the invention by relocating at least part of the battery protection device to the handle end of the handheld power tool.
[0008] It has proven advantageous if the hand-held power tool has at least one spring element and / or at least one damping element that acts between the handle end and the receiving bay.
[0009] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the receiving bay has a guide sleeve. It has proven advantageous if the guide sleeve is arranged at least in sections in a guide channel formed in the handle end. In a particularly preferred embodiment, a plurality of ribs are arranged around the guide sleeve. In a further preferred embodiment, the ribs are designed to be elastically deflectable outwards and / or inwards in the radial direction. It has proven advantageous if the ribs are inclined outwards in the radial direction with increasing distance from the receiving bay. In a further preferred embodiment, the guide channel tapers along the handle axis and in the direction applied by the receiving bay. This is preferably such that the ribs are elastically deformed inwards in the radial direction when the receiving bay and the handle end approach one another. The receiving recess and the handle end typically approach each other when the handheld power tool falls onto the battery pack. The taper can be dome-shaped or partially dome-shaped. Preferably, the taper adjoins a substantially cylindrical section of the guide channel. It has proven advantageous if the ribs are formed integrally with the receiving recess. Alternatively, the ribs can be provided as components separate from the receiving recess. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the ribs and / or the receiving recess are made of plastic.
[0010] In a further preferred embodiment, the ribs each have a retaining edge, wherein the retaining edge preferably limits movement of the receiving recess relative to the handle end. It has proven advantageous if the retaining edge, together with a projection of the guide channel, creates at least one-sided positive locking in the direction of the handle axis.
[0011] According to the invention, the handheld power tool has a compression spring. It has proven advantageous if the compression spring is arranged coaxially with the guide sleeve. It has also proven advantageous if the compression spring is arranged such that it is compressed along the handle axis when the receiving recess and the handle end approach each other—for example, due to an impact. The compression spring can be identical to the at least one spring element of the handheld power tool. It has proven advantageous if both the elastically deformable ribs and the compression spring participate in cushioning and / or damping a fall.
[0012] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the handheld power tool is equipped with an elastically deformable sealing sleeve, which is preferably arranged along a transition between the handle end and the receiving recess. The sealing sleeve can be supported against the projection and / or against the receiving recess. It has proven advantageous if the sealing sleeve acts as a damper along the handle axis. The sealing sleeve can be identical to the at least one damper element of the handheld power tool.
[0013] In a further preferred embodiment, the electric handheld power tool is designed as a drill / driver. It has proven advantageous if the handheld power tool has a battery pack that is accommodated or is to be accommodated in the receiving bay.
[0014] Further advantages will become apparent from the following description of the figures. Various embodiments of the present invention are illustrated in the figures. The figures, the description, and the claims contain numerous features in combination. Those skilled in the art will also expediently consider the features individually and combine them into useful further combinations.
[0015] In the figures, identical and similar components are numbered with the same reference numerals. They show: Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of an electric hand-held power tool; Fig. 2 shows a sectional view through a receiving bay for receiving a battery pack; Fig. 3 shows a receiving bay in perspective; and Fig. 4 shows the embodiment of the Fig. 1 in detail. Examples of implementation:
[0016] A preferred embodiment of an electric hand tool 100 is shown in Figure 1 As the Figure 1can be removed, the hand-held power tool 100 is designed, for example, as a drill / driver. The hand-held power tool 100 is equipped with a housing-integrated handle 10 through which a handle axis GA runs. During operation, the handle 10 is gripped by a user in order to hold the hand-held power tool 100, for example with one hand. At a handle end 11 of the handle 10, a receiving bay 20 for receiving a battery pack 80 is arranged. According to the invention, the receiving bay 20 is mounted in the handle end 11 so as to be movable along the handle axis GA. This is indicated by the double arrow BR oriented parallel to the handle axis GA in Figure 2 indicated.
[0017] The receiving bay 20 has a guide sleeve 25 (cf. Figure 2 ), which is arranged at least in sections in a guide channel 15 formed in the handle end 11. A plurality of ribs 27 are arranged around the guide sleeve 25 (see also Figure 2), which are designed to be elastically deflectable in the radial direction RR outwards and inwards. Clearly visible in Figure 2 is that the ribs 27, with increasing distance from the receiving bay 20 (in Figure 2 upwards) are inclined outwards in the radial direction RR. In other words, the circumference of the ribs 27 is smaller at the transition to the battery receptacle 20 than at the free end of the ribs 27. In order to mount the receiving bay 20 on the handle end 11, the ribs 27 are pressed inwards by hand or machine in the radial direction RR and the guide channel 15 is inserted. The ribs 27 each have a holding edge 29. The holding edge 29 limits a movement of the receiving bay 20 relative to the handle end 11. More precisely, the holding edge 29, together with a projection 17 of the guide channel 15, causes a one-sided positive connection in the handle axis GA downwards. In other words, the receiving bay 20 can be Figure 2do not fall downwards out of the handle end 11.
[0018] Again Figure 2 can also be removed, the hand-held power tool 100 has a compression spring 30 which is arranged coaxially with the guide sleeve 25. This compression spring 30 can cushion an impact force FS on the battery pack 80 arranged in the receiving bay 20. In this case, the guide sleeve 25 dips further upwards into the guide channel 15 in the direction of the handle axis GA. A downward swinging of the compression spring 30 is realized by the already described positive connection between the holding edge 29 of the ribs 27 and the projection 17 of the guide channel 15.
[0019] The handheld power tool 100 also has an elastically deformable sealing sleeve 40, which is arranged along a transition between the handle end 11 and the receiving recess 20. The sealing sleeve 40 encloses the handle end 11, so that neither dirt nor moisture can enter the guide channel 15. The sealing sleeve 40 is supported against the projection 17 and the receiving recess 20. The sealing sleeve 40 is made, for example, of an elastomer, so that the sealing sleeve 40 acts as a damper along the handle axis GA. In other words, the sealing sleeve 40 is compressed from below when the battery pack 80 is impacted.
[0020] A perspective view of the receiving bay 20 is shown in Figure 3Clearly visible is the guide sleeve 25, which protrudes from the receiving bay 20 and is surrounded by six ribs 27. The ribs 27 are arranged at equal distances from one another around the guide sleeve 25. The ribs 27 are designed to be elastically deflectable outwards and inwards in the radial direction RR and are inclined outwards in the radial direction RR. In the exemplary embodiment shown here, the ribs 27 are formed integrally with the receiving bay and are made of plastic.
[0021] The spring action of the ribs 27 is now determined with reference to Figure 4 further explained. Figure 4 is a detailed representation of the Figure 1The essentially cylindrical guide channel 15 formed in the handle end 11 has a taper 19 in the direction of the handle axis GA (meaning the upward direction applied from the receiving bay 20), along which a respective retaining edge 29 of the ribs 27 can slide. Due to this taper 19, the ribs 27 are elastically deformed in the radial direction RR inward towards the handle axis GA when the receiving bay 20 approaches the handle end 11 due to an impact force FS applied to the battery pack 80. The elastic inward deformation of the ribs 27 cushions part of the impact force FS. Another part of the impact force is cushioned by the compression spring 30. The spring effects of the ribs 27 and the compression spring 30 act cooperatively. List of reference symbols
