AI Technical Summary
Conventional laundry care devices, such as washing machines, often fail to ensure effective pressure compensation between the lye container and the outside area, leading to issues like vacuum formation in the lye container during spinning processes.
A laundry care device with a partition that subdivides the interior of the outlet protection into a liquid channel and an air canal, allowing air to escape while ensuring effective pressure compensation between the lye container and the outside area.
The partition effectively delimits the liquid channel from the air duct, ensuring that air can escape during washing fluid feeding, thus maintaining effective pressure compensation and improving drainage and reducing lye container intake.
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a laundry care appliance with a partition wall.
[0002] In conventional laundry care appliances, particularly washing machines, the washing liquid from the detergent dispenser tray is often fed to the suds container through a tray housing and an inlet nozzle, wherein the inlet nozzle is arranged in a sleeve of the laundry care appliance. The sleeve is in particular designed as an elastomer plastic ring which seals a container opening of the suds container facing the appliance door. However, with corresponding conventional washing machines the problem often arises that effective pressure equalization between the suds container and the outside of the laundry care appliance is no longer sufficiently ensured. So that, for example, during a laundry spin cycle, a negative pressure occurring in the suds container causes the suds container to be sucked towards the appliance door, or the pumping of washing liquid from the suds container can be negatively affected.
[0003] In DE 197 57 303 A1, a vent line of a washing machine is designed as an integral part of the drain outlet of the detergent dispenser drawer.
[0004] DE 10 2011 089 395 A1 discloses a dispenser assembly for a household appliance for washing laundry.
[0005] The published patent application DE 4 222 736 A1 discloses a drum washing machine.
[0006] It is the object of the present invention to provide a laundry care appliance with a tub, wherein an effective pressure equalization between the tub and an outer area of the laundry care appliance is ensured.
[0007] This object is achieved by the subject matter having the features according to the independent claim. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims, the description, and the drawings.
[0008] According to one aspect, the object of the invention is achieved by a laundry care appliance, comprising a tub for holding washing liquid, wherein the tub has a container opening, a sleeve which is arranged at the container opening and is designed to seal the container opening, wherein the sleeve has an inlet nozzle, and a bowl housing in which a dispensing bowl for holding laundry care substance is accommodated, wherein the bowl housing has an outlet nozzle which is fluidically connected to the inlet nozzle of the sleeve, wherein the laundry care appliance has a partition which is arranged in the outlet nozzle and is shaped to divide an interior of the outlet nozzle into a liquid channel for conducting liquid and into an air channel for conducting air.
[0009] This achieves the technical advantage that the partition wall within the outlet nozzle effectively separates the liquid channel from the air channel, so that while washing liquid is being supplied through the liquid channel, air can simultaneously escape from the suds container through the air channel, so that effective pressure equalization between the suds container and the outside of the laundry care appliance can be ensured.
[0010] The container opening is arranged, in particular, on a front side of the tub, with the front side facing a door of the laundry care appliance. The sleeve extends, in particular, around the container opening to ensure an effective fluidic seal between the container opening and a window of the door of the laundry care appliance.
[0011] The inlet nozzle, in particular, penetrates the sleeve to introduce the washing liquid through the sleeve and through the container opening into the tub. In particular, the inlet nozzle has an inlet nozzle on the side facing the tub to spray the washing liquid into the tub in a directed manner. In particular, the inlet nozzle or inlet nozzle is arranged on the sleeve in such a way as to introduce the supplied washing liquid axially into the tub, in particular axially offset from a drum rotation axis of a laundry drum.
[0012] The shell housing has the outlet nozzle. In particular, the outlet nozzle is arranged on a housing bottom part of the shell housing, wherein the The lower housing part is connected to an upper housing part of the shell housing, and wherein a receiving space for receiving a dispenser tray for receiving laundry care substance is arranged between the upper housing part and the lower housing part.
[0013] In particular, the outlet nozzle is directly connected to the inlet nozzle of the lye container. In particular, the outlet nozzle is inserted into the inlet nozzle of the lye container.
[0014] A laundry care appliance is a device used for laundry care, such as a washing machine or a tumble dryer. In particular, such a laundry care appliance is a household laundry care appliance. That is, a laundry care appliance used in household management and used to treat laundry in normal household quantities.
[0015] According to the invention, the partition wall extends at least partially from the outlet nozzle into the inlet nozzle of the sleeve. This achieves the technical advantage that the partition wall extending from the outlet nozzle into the inlet nozzle continues the separation of the air channel from the liquid channel at least partially downwards into the inlet nozzle, thus achieving an effective fluidic separation of the liquid supply and air supply.
[0016] In an advantageous embodiment, the shell housing has a housing lower part on which the outlet nozzle is arranged, wherein the partition wall arranged in the outlet nozzle extends at least partially into an interior space of the housing lower part.
[0017] This achieves the technical advantage that the partition wall arranged in the outlet connection extends upwards, at least in sections, into the interior of the lower housing section, so that the fluidic separation of the liquid supply and air supply is also continued above the outlet connection in the lower housing section. In the event of a backflow of washing liquid in the interior of the lower housing section, the partition wall extending upwards into the interior of the lower housing section ensures that the air duct for conducting air is kept clear.
[0018] In particular, a contact element is arranged on a wall of the housing lower part which delimits the interior of the housing lower part, to which wall a housing cover of the shell housing is fastened in order to close off the housing lower part at an upper side.
[0019] In an advantageous embodiment, the partition wall extending at least partially into the interior of the housing lower part has a partition wall upper side, wherein a partition wall opening is formed between the partition wall upper side and a housing cover arranged on the housing lower part, which partition wall opening fluidically connects the liquid channel to the air channel.
[0020] This achieves the technical advantage that the partition opening ensures that in the event of a significant backflow of washing liquid in the interior of the housing base, the washing liquid can flow through the partition opening into the air duct, so that the air duct serves as an emergency drain for the washing liquid.
[0021] The housing cover is arranged in particular on an upper side of the housing base that delimits the interior of the housing base and in particular closes the upper side of the housing base.
[0022] In an advantageous embodiment, a cross section of the liquid channel is the same size as a cross section of the air channel, or a cross section of the liquid channel is larger than a cross section of the air channel.
[0023] This achieves the technical advantage of ensuring an effective symmetrical distribution when the air channel and liquid channel have the same cross-sectional area. If the cross-sectional area of the liquid channel is larger than the cross-sectional area of the air channel, this ensures that even a large volume of scrubbing liquid can be effectively discharged through the outlet nozzle.
[0024] In an advantageous embodiment, the liquid channel and / or the air channel have a semicircular cross-section.
[0025] This achieves the technical advantage that the semicircular cross-section of the liquid channel and / or the air channel ensures optimized flow behavior of the fluids.
[0026] In an advantageous embodiment, the partition wall has a partition wall inner section which is arranged in the outlet nozzle, wherein the partition wall inner section is in particular straight or curved in shape.
[0027] This achieves the technical advantage that the inner partition section, located within the outlet nozzle, ensures effective separation of the air channel and the liquid channel. The straight or curved shape of the inner partition section allows the air channel and / or liquid channel to be designed in the desired shape.
[0028] In an advantageous embodiment, the partition wall and the outlet nozzle are formed in one piece, wherein the partition wall and the outlet nozzle are formed in particular as an injection-molded part.
[0029] This achieves the technical advantage that simple production is ensured by the one-piece design of the partition wall and outlet nozzle, particularly as an injection-molded part.
[0030] In an advantageous embodiment, the outlet nozzle of the shell housing is inserted into the inlet nozzle of the sleeve, wherein in particular a clamp encloses the inlet nozzle on the outside in order to ensure a fluid-tight connection between the inlet nozzle and the outlet nozzle.
[0031] This achieves the technical advantage of ensuring a simple and effective fluid-tight connection between the outlet nozzle and the inlet nozzle.
[0032] In an advantageous embodiment, the bowl housing has an upper housing part and a lower housing part on which the outlet nozzle is formed, wherein a receiving space for receiving the dispenser bowl is arranged between the upper housing part and the lower housing part, wherein the receiving space is fluidically connected to the lower housing part in order to supply laundry care substance from the receiving space to an interior space of the lower housing part, wherein the interior space of the lower housing part is closed off in particular by a housing cover.
[0033] This achieves the technical advantage that an effective supply of washing liquid from the dispenser tray is ensured by the upper housing section and the lower housing section with the outlet nozzle, and that an effective top closure of the interior of the lower housing section is ensured by the housing cover.
[0034] In an advantageous embodiment, the receiving space is fluidically connected to the interior of the lower housing part by a siphon, wherein the siphon is divided into a falling section and a rising section, in particular by a housing cover of the lower housing part.
[0035] This achieves the technical advantage that the siphon ensures an effective fluidic connection between the receiving space arranged between the upper housing part and the lower housing part and the interior of the lower housing part, and the washing liquid in the siphon, in particular in the U-shaped siphon, in particular ensures an airtight seal, so that odors from the interior of the tub cannot penetrate to the outside.
[0036] The housing cover, which closes an upper side of the interior of the housing base, in particular a dividing section of the housing cover, extends in particular into the siphon and divides the siphon into a downstream section and a downstream section. The washing liquid, which flows from the receiving space into the siphon, falls downwards through the downstream section and rises again through the upstream section of the siphon before subsequently entering the interior of the housing base.
[0037] In an advantageous embodiment, the upper housing part has an upper part nozzle which is connected to a lower housing part nozzle of the lower housing part by a hose line in order to guide air escaping from the air duct through the lower housing part nozzle through the hose line and through the upper part nozzle into the interior of the upper housing part.
[0038] This achieves the technical advantage that air with a high humidity escaping through the air duct can be guided through the hose line from the lower part of the housing into the upper part of the housing to condense there.
[0039] In particular, the upper part nozzle is arranged on a rear side of the upper housing part, which is facing away from a bowl handle of the dispenser bowl, so that it is ensured that the liquid deposited by condensation on the rear side of the upper housing part does not condense on the bowl handle of the dispenser bowl.
[0040] In an advantageous embodiment, the partition wall has a lower partition wall section which extends at least in sections beyond a lower nozzle edge of the outlet nozzle, wherein the further partition wall section tapers in particular in the direction of the inlet nozzle.
[0041] This achieves the technical advantage that the lower partition wall section, which extends downwards beyond the nozzle edge, extends at least partially into the inlet nozzle of the sleeve, so that the air channel and the liquid channel can advantageously be continued in the inlet nozzle. The tapering of the lower partition wall section ensures advantageous insertion of the lower partition wall section into the inlet nozzle.
[0042] In an advantageous embodiment, the lower partition wall section delimits at least one hollow channel which comprises the air channel and / or the liquid channel and extends beyond the nozzle edge.
[0043] This achieves the technical advantage that the lower partition wall section ensures an advantageous continuation of the air channel and / or the liquid channel. In particular, the lower partition wall section forms a hollow-cylindrical air channel and / or a hollow-cylindrical liquid channel.
[0044] In an advantageous embodiment, the air channel within the inlet nozzle is longer than the liquid channel, or the liquid channel within the inlet nozzle is longer than the air channel.
[0045] This provides the technical advantage that, depending on the installation situation, the liquid supply to the lye container or the air discharge from the lye container can be designed advantageously.
[0046] Further embodiments are explained with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show: Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a laundry care appliance; Fig. 2 shows a schematic view of a shell housing of a laundry care appliance; Fig. 3 shows a schematic view of a housing bottom part of a shell housing of a laundry care appliance; Fig. 4 shows a schematic view of an outlet nozzle of a housing bottom part of a shell housing of a laundry care appliance; and Fig. 5 shows a further schematic view of an outlet nozzle of a housing bottom part of a shell housing of a laundry care appliance.
[0047] Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a laundry care appliance 100, such as a washing machine. The laundry care appliance 100 has an appliance housing 101. The laundry care appliance 100 includes an appliance door 103 for loading the laundry care appliance 100 with laundry. The laundry care appliance 100 includes a dispenser tray 105 into which laundry care substance, such as detergent, can be poured.
[0048] Fig. 2 shows a schematic view of a shell housing of a laundry care appliance.
[0049] The laundry care appliance 100 has a tub 107 for holding washing liquid, wherein the tub 107 has a Fig. 2 only schematically shown container opening 109, which extends in particular in the direction of the Fig. 2 not shown appliance door 103.
[0050] To ensure an effective fluidic seal between the container opening 109 of the suds container 107 and the appliance door 103, a sleeve 111 is arranged at the container opening 109, which seals the container opening 109. The sleeve 111 is formed, in particular, from an elastically deformable plastic and surrounds the container opening 109.
[0051] The cuff 111 has an inlet nozzle 113 which is connected to an outlet nozzle 115 of a shell housing 117 of the laundry care appliance 100, wherein in the shell housing 117 a Fig. 2 not shown dispenser tray 105 for holding laundry care substance.
[0052] Thus, the laundry care substance from the Fig. 2 not shown, through the outlet nozzle 115 and through the inlet nozzle 113 into the suds container 107, advantageously via the container opening 109 of the suds container 107. In particular, the laundry care substance, or washing liquid, can advantageously be introduced axially, in particular axially offset to a drum rotation axis of a laundry drum, into the suds container 107, in order in particular to advantageously wet the laundry held in a laundry drum.
[0053] The shell housing 117 has a housing upper part 119, and the shell housing 117 has a housing lower part 121, on which the outlet nozzle 115 is arranged.
[0054] The upper housing part 119 and the lower housing part 121 define a receiving space 120 for receiving the Fig. 2 not shown dispenser tray 105.
[0055] The receiving space 120 is fluidically connected to the housing lower part 121 by a siphon 123, in particular to an interior space 141 of the housing lower part 121. The siphon 123 is divided by a housing cover 125, in particular by a separating section 125-1 of the housing cover 125, into a falling section 123-1 and a rising section 123-2.
[0056] A liquid level 127 of liquid standing in the siphon 123, in particular in the fall section 123-1 and in the riser section 123-2, is in the Fig. 2 only shown schematically.
[0057] As from the Fig. 2 As can also be seen, the housing cover 125 has a closing section 125-2 connected to the separating section 125-1, which closes the housing lower part 121 at the top of the interior space 141. The closing section 125-1 of the housing cover 125 forms, in particular, at least a sectionally delimiting the receiving space 120.
[0058] The laundry care appliance 100 according to the present disclosure has a partition wall 129 which is arranged in the outlet nozzle 115 and is shaped such that an interior space 131 of the outlet nozzle 115 is divided into a liquid channel 133 for conducting liquid and an air channel 135 for conducting air.
[0059] Thus, washing liquid can be supplied from the receiving space 120, or the dispenser tray 105 accommodated therein, through the falling section 123-1 and through the rising section 123-2 of the siphon 123 to the lower housing part 121, and the washing liquid can be supplied from the interior 141 of the lower housing part 121 through the liquid channel 133 in the outlet connection 115 and through the inlet connection 113 to the tub 107. A corresponding liquid supply direction 137 is shown in the Fig. 2 represented by arrow markings.
[0060] During the supply of washing liquid from the dispenser bowl 105 through the liquid channel 133, air can flow out through the air channel 135 so that effective pressure equalization can be ensured.
[0061] During a spin cycle of the laundry drum, a negative pressure can arise in the tub 107, which can be compensated by both the air channel 135 and the liquid channel 133.
[0062] In order to ensure pressure equalization between the tub 107 and the housing base 121, the air can be circulated along the Fig. 2 flow in the air guidance direction 139 shown by arrow markings from the tub 107 through the inlet nozzle 113 and through the air duct 135 formed in the outlet nozzle 115 into the lower housing part 121.
[0063] By equalizing the pressure, drainage can be improved and the suction effect of the tub 107 in the direction of the door window of the appliance door 103 can be reduced.
[0064] The partition wall 129 arranged in the outlet nozzle 115 thus effectively separates the air channel 135 from the liquid channel 133. As can be seen from the Fig. 2 As can be seen, the partition wall 129 extends in particular from the outlet nozzle 115 at least in sections into the inlet nozzle 113 of the sleeve 111, or is inserted into the inlet nozzle 113 of the sleeve 111, in order to ensure an effective fluid-tight connection between the outlet nozzle 115 and the inlet nozzle 113. In this case, in particular, a Fig. 2 A clamp (not shown) encloses the inlet nozzle 113 on the outside to ensure an effective fluid-tight connection between the inlet nozzle 113 and the outlet nozzle 115.
[0065] As from the Fig. 2 As can also be seen, the partition 129 extends at least partially from the outlet nozzle 115 into an interior space 141 of the housing lower part 121. The partition 129 has a partition upper side 129-1, which faces the housing cover 125. A partition opening 129-2 is formed between the partition upper side 129-1 and the housing cover 125.
[0066] The partition opening 129-2 ensures that, when the washing liquid level in the interior 141 of the lower housing part 121 rises, the washing liquid can flow through the partition opening 129-2 into the air duct 135 and from the air duct 135 into the tub 107. Thus, the air duct 135 serves as an emergency drain for washing liquid.
[0067] For further details on the design of the partition wall 129, please refer to the explanations for the following figures.
[0068] In one embodiment, the housing base 121 may have a Fig. 2 not shown lower part nozzle, which is connected by a hose line with a Fig. 2 not shown upper part connection piece of the upper housing part 119.
[0069] Air exiting the air duct 135 can thus be fed to the upper housing section 119 through the lower section connection piece, through the hose line, and through the upper section connection piece. This allows, for example, air exiting the air duct 135 with a high humidity to be fed to the upper housing section 119 and condense there. In particular, the upper section connection piece is arranged on a rear side of the upper housing section 119, thus preventing liquid from condensing on the front side of the upper housing section 119 or the bowl handle of the dispenser tray 105.
[0070] Fig. 3 shows a schematic view of a housing base of a shell housing of a laundry care appliance. Fig. 3 the housing cover 125 and the upper housing part 119 are not shown, so that in the perspective according to the Fig. 3 a direct view into the interior 141 of the lower housing part 121 is ensured.
[0071] From the Fig. 3 It can be seen that the partition wall 129 is arranged in the outlet connection 115 and extends at least partially into the interior 141 of the housing lower part 121 in order to separate the liquid channel 133 and the air channel 135 from each other. Between a partition wall upper side 129-1 and the Fig. 3 A partition opening 129-2 is formed in the housing cover 125, not shown.
[0072] In addition, the partition wall 129 has a partition wall upper section 129-3, which is located on the housing lower part 121 in the direction of the Fig. 3 not shown housing cover 125.
[0073] In the Fig. 3 Furthermore, a siphon outlet opening 143 is shown, through which liquid can flow from the siphon 123 into the interior 141 of the lower housing part 121.
[0074] Furthermore, the Fig. 3 a contact element 145 is shown, which contacts the housing cover 125.
[0075] Fig. 4 shows a schematic view of an outlet nozzle of a housing bottom part of a shell housing of a laundry care appliance.
[0076] In the Fig. 4 a view of the underside of the housing lower part 121 of the shell housing 117 is shown, wherein the partition wall 129 is arranged in the outlet nozzle 115 of the housing lower part 121.
[0077] Here, the partition 129 has, in particular, a partition inner section 129-4 arranged in the outlet connection piece 115, which is particularly curved. Due to the curved design of the partition inner section 129-4, the liquid channel 133 has, in particular, a larger cross-section than the air channel 135.
[0078] As from the Fig. 3 It can also be seen that the partition wall 129 and the outlet nozzle 115 are formed in one piece, in particular as an injection-molded part.
[0079] Fig. 5 shows a further schematic view of an outlet nozzle of a housing bottom part of a shell housing of a laundry care appliance.
[0080] Fig. 5 shows a side view of the outlet nozzle 115, wherein the partition wall 129 has a lower partition wall section 129-5, which extends at least partially beyond a lower nozzle edge 115-1 of the connection nozzle 115. In particular, the lower partition wall section 129-5 extends at least partially into a Fig. 5 not shown inlet nozzle 113 of the sleeve 111.
[0081] According to a Fig. 5 In an alternative not shown, the further partition wall section 129-5 can taper in particular in the direction of the inlet nozzle 113.
[0082] According to a Fig. 5 In an alternative not shown, the lower partition wall section 129-5 can define at least one hollow channel, in particular a hollow cylindrical hollow channel, which comprises the air channel 135 and / or the liquid channel 134.
[0083] According to a Fig. 5 In an alternative not shown, the air channel 135 within the inlet nozzle 113 may be longer than the liquid channel 134, or the liquid channel 133 may in particular be longer than the air channel 135.
[0084] According to the present disclosure, good drainage from the tray housing 117 is ensured and a suction effect of the tub 107 towards the door window of the appliance door 103 is reduced.
[0085] Condensation of the air from the detergent dispenser 107 does not take place in the area of the bowl handle of the detergent dispenser 105, but in a rear area of the upper housing part 119. In addition, construction costs are reduced, the available installation space is used effectively, and the assembly line is used optimally.
[0086] All features explained and shown in connection with individual embodiments of the invention can be provided in different combinations in the subject matter according to the invention in order to simultaneously realize their advantageous effects.
[0087] The scope of the present invention is given by the claims and is not limited by the features explained in the description or shown in the figures. Bezugszeichenliste
