Description

[0001] The invention relates to street furniture such as bollards, lights, signs, railings, protective bars, bicycle parking, waste containers, benches, consisting of an embedding sleeve and / or ground sleeve which can be inserted into the ground and a tubular post or beam which can be positively inserted into this and detachably connected to the same, wherein the embedding sleeve and / or ground sleeve provided for receiving a vertically directed tubular post or beam of another street furniture is equipped with a first holding device and a second holding device, and wherein the holding devices are each arranged on different levels within the embedding sleeve and / or ground sleeve.

[0002] Street furniture such as bollards is typically used in cities, towns, etc. to protect areas where free access for motor vehicles should be restricted or largely prevented, such as pedestrian zones, church forecourts or landmarks, and much more. However, to ensure access to these areas for fire engines, emergency vehicles, police, etc., the bollards or posts can be separated from the ground socket or embedded socket using a special tool and removed from the same.

[0003] Such a bollard is described, for example, in DE 100 10 449 C1. To ensure that this bollard cannot be easily removed, but can still be easily anchored and replaced, it features a special connection system in which the bollard's upper part is securely and permanently clamped to the embedding sleeve via a clamping device.

[0004] Since this bollard has a special connection system and the embedding sleeve is intended exclusively for bollards with this connection system, individual interchangeability of bollards is not possible.

[0005] Other bollards that do not allow individual interchangeability are described in WO 2013 / 081474 A1 and US 2007 / 0176159 A1.

[0006] The invention is based on the object of creating street furniture of the specified type, with which different fastening options for bollards or tubular posts or beams of the street furniture are provided, wherein the bollards or tubular posts or beams of the street furniture having different fastening systems can be removed and fastened very easily and quickly, so that a significant time saving is achieved in the removal and also in the insertion of the bollards or tubular posts or beams of the street furniture compared to conventional street furniture.

[0007] This object is achieved according to the invention by street furniture having the characterising features of patent claim 1.

[0008] Appropriate further developments of the invention are characterized in the subclaims.

[0009] According to the invention, the holding devices are each designed for tubular posts or beams of another piece of street furniture with differently designed connection systems. A connecting piece of the street furniture can be inserted into the lower end of the bollard or tubular post or beam of the respective piece of street furniture in a fastening system, the lower end of which can be bayonet-connected to an upper opening of the embedding sleeve forming the second holding device on an upper level. The holding devices arranged on different horizontal levels relative to the longitudinal extent of the embedding sleeve and / or ground sleeve enable the individual use of bollards or tubular posts or beams of street furniture with differently designed connection systems.Since only one embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, is required to connect street furniture equipped with different connection systems to the same or the same system, inventory is reduced due to the use of identical parts, which also reduces manufacturing and storage costs. The connector, combined with the bayonet-type connection, ensures a secure hold of the bollard, tubular post, or pole in the embedding sleeve.

[0010] In the case of the bollard, tubular post or pole of the respective street furniture, a further fastening system can have a locking device integrated into the tubular post, which can automatically lock with the lower end of the bollard, tubular post or pole into the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, on a first holding device when the lower end of the bollard, tubular post or pole is inserted into the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve. In this case, in the area of the bollard, tubular post or pole protruding from the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, an unlocking device engaging the locking device can be arranged to unlock the locking device and remove the bollard, tubular post or pole from the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve. The locking device enables the bollard to be inserted quickly and safely. The tubular post or pole is inserted into the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, and securely held therein. The release mechanism ensures that the bollard, tubular post, or pole can be unlocked and removed from the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, in an undamaged condition in a fraction of a second at any time.

[0011] The locking device can be formed from a lever rod extending from the unlocking device within the bollard or tubular post or spar to the embedding sleeve or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, wherein after the bollard or tubular post or spar has been inserted into the embedding sleeve or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, an opening provided in the region of the lower end of the lever rod can be penetrated by an attachment of the embedding sleeve or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, which attachment forms the first holding device on a lower level and extends radially towards the longitudinal center axis of the bollard or tubular post or spar and secures the bollard or tubular post or spar against longitudinal displacement or vertical displacement.

[0012] In order to securely fix the lever rod in the locking position, the lever rod can be pre-tensioned by means of a tensioning device towards the base of the embedding sleeve or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve.

[0013] The lever rod can be offset in the area of the opening for the attachment of the embedding sleeve, or the embedding sleeve with ground sleeve. This offset ensures that the length of the attachment in the embedding sleeve, or the embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, can be kept relatively short and that there is sufficient space inside the bollard, tubular post, or pole for the pivoting movement of the lever rod.

[0014] In order to achieve a relatively easy engagement of the lever rod on the attachment, a sloping section of the crank can form an inlet slope for the attachment of the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, when inserting the bollard or tubular post or spar into the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve.

[0015] The clamping device can be formed by a screw-nut connection extending radially through the bollard or tubular post or beam, wherein the shaft of the screw can extend through a first bore in the bollard or tubular post or beam via a further opening in the lever rod through a second bore with a threaded portion opposite the first bore. The bollard or tubular post or beam can be clamped between the head of the screw and the nut and a compression spring can be clamped between the side of the lever rod facing away from the neck of the embedding sleeve or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve and the inner circumference of the bollard or tubular post or beam. The compression spring ensures the necessary preload on the lever rod, wherein the compression spring is neatly guided on the shaft of the screw.Furthermore, the shaft extending through the further opening in the lever rod holds the lever rod in its position, so that a secure locking of the lever rod to the base of the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, is guaranteed.

[0016] The two openings in the lever rod can be designed as elongated holes. This design ensures that the base of the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, securely engages the opening in the lever rod, while the wider opening also ensures unrestricted pivoting movement of the lever rod.

[0017] The unlocking device can be provided in the region of the upper end of the bollard, tubular post, or stile and can be formed from a cylindrical bushing inserted into and held in a further radial bore in the bollard, tubular post, or stile, in which a unlocking bolt with an actuating means molded into the front or integrally molded thereon can be rotatably mounted. A longitudinally directed connecting bolt provided at the upper end of the lever rod can be inserted into and held in a radial bore of the unlocking bolt through a molded-in slot extending over a portion of the circumference of the cylindrical bushing. The arrangement of the unlocking device in the region of the upper end of the tubular post provides relatively easy access to it.The rotatability of the release pin in the cylinder bushing and the slot formed over a portion of the circumference of the cylinder bushing ensure that the lever rod can pivot freely in the area of the release device at all times.

[0018] In order to ensure that the tool usually kept on hand by fire brigades, rescue services, police, etc. can be used for other barriers, such as barriers, etc., thus ensuring quick access, the actuating device can be a triangular tool.

[0019] The longitudinal connecting bolt of the lever rod can have an external thread on its circumference, and the hole in the release bolt can have an internal thread. The threads ensure a secure connection between the lever rod and the release bolt, with the shaft of the tensioning device screw also providing an anti-twist lock for this connection.

[0020] To prevent the bollard, tubular post or stile from twisting in the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, and to guide the insertion of the bollard, tubular post or stile into the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, the bollard, tubular post or stile can have a longitudinal slot extending from the lower end of the bollard to at least the upper edge of the horizontally directed attachment of the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, for centering the bollard, tubular post or stile within the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground sleeve, whereby the upper end of the longitudinal slot can also serve as a depth stop for the bollard, tubular post or stile.

[0021] The connecting piece can have a transverse bore that can be conically widened at both ends. These conical extensions, which can continue into opposing conical transverse bores in the bollard, tubular post, or stile, can each accommodate a clamping cone. These clamping cones can be used to force-tighten the retaining part in the embedding sleeve within the bayonet lock by means of a screw that can be operated with a special wrench, thus clamping the bollard, tubular post, or stile against the embedding sleeve.

[0022] The clamping cones can be seated in the conical extensions of the cross-bore of the connecting piece and in the conical cross-bores of the respective bollard or tubular post or spar with appropriate play, such that when the screw is tightened they can each exert a wedge effect to move the connecting piece upwards and the bollard or tubular post or spar downwards.

[0023] In an alternative embodiment, the ground sleeve can be pressed or cast into the embedding sleeve, which can preferably be embedded flush with the ground in concrete, and which, due to its contour, ensures proper hold in the ground or concrete.

[0024] The tubular post or pole, with its protruding portion from the embedding sleeve, or embedding sleeve with ground socket, can be pressed or cast into a bollard body or similar body enclosing the tubular post or pole. This allows for a variety of differently shaped bollard bodies or similar bodies, which can also be adapted to existing bollards, for example.

[0025] Preferably, the embedding sleeve can be made of cast iron and the bollard body can be made of aluminum or cast metal.

[0026] Preferred embodiments of the street furniture according to the invention are explained in more detail below using the example of a bollard with reference to the drawings.

[0027] It shows Fig. 1 a front view of a first embodiment of a bollard, Fig. 2 a view in the direction of arrow II in Fig. 1 ,where a bollard body enclosing the tubular post is also shown in phantom lines, Fig. 3 a section along the line III-III in Fig. 1 , Fig. 4 an enlarged section IV from Fig. 3 , Fig. 5 an enlarged section V from Fig. 3 , Fig. 6 a further enlarged section along the line VI-VI in Fig. 5 , Fig. 7 a further enlarged section along the line VI-VI in Fig. 5 , Fig. 8 a cut like Fig. 5 , but with a ground sleeve pressed or cast into an embedding sleeve, Fig. 9 a perspective view of the tubular post, Fig. 10 a side view of the tubular post, Fig.11 in perspective view the lever rod, Fig. 12 perspective view of the ground socket, Fig. 13 a perspective view of the cylinder liner, Fig. 14 in perspective view the release bolt and Fig. 15 a longitudinal section of another embodiment of a bollard which can be connected to the embedding sleeve in a bayonet-like manner.

[0028] The invention relates generally to street furniture such as bollards 1, lights, signs, railings, protective bars, bicycle parking, waste containers, benches or the like and, as already mentioned above, is described in more detail below using the example of a bollard 1 for the sake of simplicity.

[0029] The Fign. The bollards 1 shown essentially consist of an embedding sleeve 50 which can be inserted into the ground 2 and preferably embedded in concrete flush with the ground (see Fig. 1 bis 3 as well as 5, 8 and 15), and a tube post 4 which can be inserted into the embedding sleeve 50 in a form-fitting manner and can be detachably connected to the same (see Fig. 1 bis 3 as well as Fig. 9 und 10 ).

[0030] The embedding sleeve 50 provided for receiving the vertically oriented bollard 1 is equipped with a first holding device 52 and a second holding device 53, which are each provided at different levels 54, 55 within the embedding sleeve 50 and which enable the reception of different bollards 1 with different fastening systems.

[0031] In a first fastening system, the tubular post 4 has a locking device 5 (see in particular Fig. 5 ),which is integrated into the interior 6 of the same and, when the lower end 7 of the tubular post 4 is inserted into the embedding sleeve 50, automatically locks with the same on the first holding device 52, so that withdrawal of the tubular post 4 is not possible. To remove the tubular post 4 from the embedding sleeve 50, an unlocking device 9 engaging the locking device 5 is arranged in the area of the tubular post 4 protruding from the embedding sleeve 50, preferably in the area of the upper end 8 of the tubular post 4 (see in particular Fig. 3 and 4 ).

[0032] The locking device 5 has a lever rod 10 extending from the unlocking device 9 through the interior 6 of the tubular post 4 to the embedding sleeve 50 (see in particular Fig. 3 and 11 ),which is essentially formed from a flat or strip steel and has a crank 12 at its lower end 11 directed towards the embedding sleeve 50. When inserting the tubular post 4 into the embedding sleeve 50, an inclined section 13 of the crank 12, which serves as an inlet slope, slides along the front free end 14 of a projection 16 of the embedding sleeve 50, which extends radially towards the longitudinal central axis 15 of the bollard 1 and forms the first holding device 52 on a lower plane 54, wherein the projection 16 of the embedding sleeve 50, when the tubular post 4 is fully inserted, engages in an opening 18, preferably an elongated hole, provided in a straight section 17 adjoining the inclined section 13 of the crank 12 and penetrates this opening (see in particular Fig. 5 and 6 or 8).The tubular post 4 is thus secured against longitudinal displacement, the lever rod 10 being securely fixed in the locked position by means of a clamping device 19 (see in particular Fig. 5 , 7 and 8 ) is prestressed towards the shoulder 16.

[0033] The clamping device 19 consists of a screw-nut connection 20, 21 extending radially through the tubular post 4, which preferably penetrates the tubular post 4 in the area above the shoulder 16 within the embedding sleeve 50. The screw 20 extends with its shaft 23 through a first bore 24 in the tubular post 4 via a further opening 25, also preferably an elongated hole, in a further obliquely running section 26 of the offset 12 of the lever rod 10 through a second bore 27, opposite the first bore 24, in the tubular post 4 with its threaded section 28, wherein the tubular post 4 is clamped between the head 29 of the screw 20 and the nut 21. Between the side 30 of the lever rod 10 facing away from the shoulder 16 of the embedding sleeve 50 orof the second obliquely extending section 26 of the same and the inner circumference 31 of the tubular post 4, a compression spring 32 is clamped around the shaft 23 of the screw 20, which ensures the necessary pretension of the lever rod 10 and prevents an unintentional release of the same from the shoulder 16 of the embedding sleeve 50 (see in particular . Fig. 5 and 7 ).

[0034] As already mentioned, the unlocking device 9 is preferably located in the area of the upper end 8 of the tubular post 4 ( Fig. 3 and 4 ) vorgese which, on the one hand, comprise a cylinder bush 34 inserted into a further radial bore 33 in the tube post 4 and held therein in a rotationally fixed manner ( Fig. 13 )whose first end 35 is supported on the inner circumference 31 of the tubular post 4 and whose second free end 36 projects beyond the outer circumference 37 of the tubular post 4. On the other hand, the unlocking device 9 has an unlocking bolt 38 rotatably mounted in the cylinder bushing 34. ( Fig. 14 ) with an actuating means 39 formed on the front side or integrally formed thereon, which is preferably designed as a triangle, since fire brigades, rescue services, police, etc. have a tool designed in this way in stock and this tool can be used to quickly dismantle the bollard 1 or the tubular post 4 without any problems.

[0035] To connect the lever rod 10 to the unlocking device 9, a longitudinally directed connecting bolt 41 is arranged at the upper end 40 of the lever rod 10, which is inserted and held in a radial bore 44 of the unlocking bolt 38 by a molded-in slot 43 extending over a partial area of the circumference 42 of the cylinder bushing 34. To ensure that the connecting bolt 41 and thus the lever rod 10 are securely held in the unlocking bolt 38, the longitudinally directed connecting bolt 41 of the lever rod 10 has an external thread 46 on its circumference 45, and the bore 44 in the unlocking bolt 38 has an internal thread 47 (see in particular Fig. 4 ).

[0036] In order to be able to remove the tubular post 4 from the embedding sleeve 50, a suitable tool is placed on the actuating means 39 or the triangular part of the unlocking bolt 38 and the same is rotated against the spring action of the compression spring 32 of the clamping device 19, whereby the lever rod 10 with the offset 12 is pivoted away from the shoulder 16 of the ground sleeve 3 so far that the shoulder 16 of the embedding sleeve 50 is no longer in engagement with the lever rod 10 or its offset 12, whereby the tubular post 4 can then be pulled out of the embedding sleeve 50.

[0037] For the guided insertion of the tube post 4 into the embedding sleeve 50 and to prevent the tube post 4 from being rotated in the embedding sleeve 50, the tube post 4 has a longitudinal slot 49 extending from the lower end 7 thereof to at least the upper edge 48 of the horizontally directed projection 16 of the embedding sleeve 50 for centering the tube post 4 within the embedding sleeve 50 (see also Fig. 9 und 10 ).

[0038] In an alternative embodiment, a ground sleeve 3 can also be pressed or cast into the embedding sleeve 50, which is preferably made of cast iron and which, as already mentioned, ensures proper and permanent hold in the ground 2 or in the concrete due to the contour of the embedding sleeve 50. The ground sleeve 3 has the shoulder 16 and the tubular post 4 is inserted into the ground sleeve 3 (see Fig. 8 and 12 ).

[0039] The tubular post 4 can be inserted with its part protruding from the embedding sleeve 50 or the ground sleeve 3 into a bollard body 51 encasing the tubular post 4 (in Fig. 2 shown in phantom lines), preferably made of aluminum or cast metal, pressed or cast in, whereby a variety of differently shaped bollard bodies 51 can be used, which can, for example, also be adapted to the design of existing bollards.

[0040] In a second, alternative fastening system, a connecting piece 57 can be inserted into an opening 56 at the lower end of the bollard 1, the lower end 58 of which can be connected in a bayonet-like manner to the upper opening 59 of the embedding sleeve 50 forming the second holding device 53 on an upper level 55 (see Fig. 15 ).For this purpose, the connecting piece 57 is inserted into the embedding sleeve 50 or into the opening 59 via longitudinal grooves 60 and coupled in a bayonet-like manner by rotating it 90°. Cams 61 of the connecting piece 57 engage a corresponding inner circumferential groove 62 of the embedding sleeve 50.

[0041] The bollard 1 is placed with the opening 56 on the connecting piece 57 in such a way that conical cross holes 63 of the bollard 1 (see Fig. 15 ) aligned with a transverse bore 64 of the connecting piece 57, which has a conical extension 65 at each end. From both sides of the bollard 1, two clamping cones 66, 67 are inserted into the conical transverse bores 63 of the bollard 1 in such a way that the clamping cones 66, 67 already engage a little in the conical extensions 65 of the transverse bore 64 of the connecting piece 57.

[0042] The screw-side clamping cone 66 has a through-bore 68 for a screw 69, while the nut-side clamping cone 67, in the described embodiment, has a slightly conical hexagon socket 70 for force-fittingly clamping the nut (not shown) that fits the screw 69. The nut is received so deeply in the hexagon socket 70 of the clamping cone 67 that a conventional hexagon wrench (not shown) can be inserted into the hexagon socket 70 above the nut to provide counter-holding when the screw 69, which has a polygonal head, e.g., triangular or square, is tightened with a corresponding special wrench (not shown).

[0043] When tightening the screw 69, the clamping cones 66, 67, which initially sit with play in the respective conical transverse bore 63 of the bollard 1 and in the conical extensions 65 of the transverse bore 64 of the connecting piece 57, are pulled inwards in order to pull the connecting piece 57 upwards by means of a kind of wedge effect and simultaneously to press the bollard 1 downwards onto the embedding sleeve 50. This process is limited by the stop of the cams 61 of the connecting piece 57 on the upper wall 71 of the inner circumferential groove 62 of the embedding sleeve 50. Fig. 15 the clamping cones 66, 67 are tightened by the screw 69 and nut (not shown here) and the bollard 1 is clamped against the embedding sleeve 50.

[0044] The connecting piece 57 can have a circumferential recess 72 as a predetermined breaking point for a controlled breakage thereof, particularly when used for bollard 1.

[0045] The bollard 1 according to the invention can be used, on the one hand, in its form consisting of a tubular post 4 and an embedding sleeve 50, and also in its form with a tubular post 4 pressed or cast into a bollard body 51 and a ground sleeve 3 pressed into an embedding sleeve 50. Furthermore, the bollard 1 according to the invention can be used in its form as a bollard body 51 in conjunction with the embedding sleeve 50, wherein the locking device 5, the unlocking device 9, and the tensioning device 19 are integrated into the bollard body 51, and a shaft for inserting the bollard body 51 into the embedding sleeve 50 is provided at the lower end of the bollard body 51.
