Description
[0001] The invention relates to a door fitting for mounting on a door. The door fitting is particularly suitable for use on tubular frame doors.
[0002] For example, EP 2 998 463 A1 shows a previously known door fitting for a building door. The handle, for example, the door handle, is rotatably mounted on the door fitting and can be connected to the mortise lock in the door via a corresponding coupling module, transmitting torque.
[0003] EP 3 514 302 A1 shows a door fitting with an external fitting part for mounting on the outside of a door. Also shown is a securing arrangement for preventing unauthorized disassembly of the external fitting part. The securing arrangement has a first engagement element that can be fixed to the outside of the door and a second engagement element that is arranged on the external fitting part. One of the engagement elements has an undercut and the other engagement element has a projection that can be inserted into the undercut. The securing arrangement has a component that, in the mounted state of the door fitting, prevents relative movement between the external fitting part and the first engagement element by means of a positive-locking contact in order to secure the projection in the undercut.
[0004] US 5,960,517 A shows a fastening device for a door fitting, such as a knob or a handle, comprising a mounting plate arrangement with an inner locking sliding plate which snaps into fastening lugs.
[0005] The object of the present invention is to provide a door fitting which is easy to install and enables a safe use of a door.
[0006] This object is achieved by the features of the independent claim. The dependent claims relate to preferred embodiments of the invention.
[0007] The invention shows a door fitting that is particularly suitable for use on building doors. The door is particularly preferably a tubular frame door.
[0008] A characteristic feature of tubular frame doors is that the door leaf is formed by a relatively narrow tubular frame. The tubular frame, for example, is made of assembled profiles. The tubular frame surrounds a frame panel, usually a glass panel. When installing or designing the door fittings, the typically narrow design of the tubular frame must be taken into account.
[0009] The door fitting shown here comprises a mounting device. The mounting device is designed to be attached to the door, in particular to the tubular frame. The mounting device has a mounting plate and a locking device. The locking device is movably arranged on the mounting plate, so that the locking device can be moved into a locking position and a release position. In particular, these two positions form the two end positions of the locking device.
[0010] The mounting plate preferably has several mounting holes. The mounting plate is attached to the door via these holes using mounting elements, particularly screws.
[0011] The mounting holes for mounting on the door are preferably arranged vertically one above the other. This is particularly advantageous for tubular frame doors, since the narrow tubular frame does not always allow the mounting elements to be placed next to each other, for example, on either side of the locking cylinder.
[0012] In addition to the mounting device, the door fitting comprises a fitting device. The fitting device is designed for attachment to the mounting device. The fitting device has a handle area designed to receive the handle, in particular a door handle. The handle area of the fitting device is designed, in particular, for rotatably supporting the handle. As will be described in more detail below, the handle area is preferably formed by a coupling module of the door fitting.
[0013] The locking device is designed to fasten the fitting device to the mounting device. In particular, the locking device is designed to positively engage the fitting device in its locking position in order to fasten the fitting device to the mounting device.
[0014] The fitting device is preferably attached to the mounting plate using fastening elements, in particular screws.
[0015] Fastening by means of the locking device is preferably carried out in addition to fastening by means of the fastening elements.
[0016] To describe the invention, a mounting axis is defined. The mounting axis extends coaxially through the handle area and is, in particular, perpendicular to the door leaf and horizontal. The mounting elements extend parallel to the mounting axis. The positive connection between the locking device and the fitting device is, in particular, designed such that at least one movement parallel to the mounting axis away from the mounting surface, i.e., the door, is blocked.
[0017] The locking device has, in particular, a first pin element recess, in particular a first locking cylinder recess. This pin element recess, in particular a locking cylinder recess, is designed to insert a pin element, in particular a locking cylinder. The inserted pin element, in particular the inserted locking cylinder, extends through the mortise lock and projects outward into the door fitting on at least one side. The first pin element recess, in particular the first locking cylinder recess, in the locking device is designed such that an inserted pin element, in particular a locking cylinder, blocks movement of the locking device from the locking position into the release position.
[0018] The pivot element can be designed, in particular, as a locking cylinder, a pivot, or a dummy cylinder. It is important that the locking device has a recess through which the pivot element protrudes when installed and blocks the movement of the locking device. Preferably, the pivot element can only be released when the door is open or can only be released from the inside of the door. For example, a mortise lock with a faceplate can be provided in the door. The pivot element can be released from the faceplate, for example, by means of a faceplate screw.
[0019] Preferably, the first pin element recess is designed as a first locking cylinder recess. Thus, the pin element can be inserted through the passage for a locking cylinder provided in the mortise lock. In particular, the pin element recess is spaced from the handle area of the door fitting at a distance that is adapted to the distance of the passage of the locking cylinder to a follower in the mortise lock, in particular, it corresponds to this distance.
[0020] When installing the door fitting described here, the mounting device, i.e., the mounting plate including the locking device, is first attached to the door, in particular, screwed on. It is then ensured that the locking device is in its release position. The fitting device is placed on the mounting device. The locking device can then be moved into the locking position. The subsequent insertion of the pin element, in particular the locking cylinder, ensures that the pin element, in particular the locking cylinder, blocks the movement of the locking device, thus ensuring that the locking device remains in the locking position.
[0021] For example, the locking cylinder or dummy cylinder is secured with the faceplate screw. Removing the locking cylinder or dummy cylinder is therefore only possible if the door is already accessible, i.e., if the door is open. When the door is closed, the faceplate screw cannot be removed, and accordingly, the locking cylinder or dummy cylinder cannot be removed. It is not possible to move the locking device into the release position and thus remove the hardware from the mounting plate without using destructive force.
[0022] Alternatively, a pin can only be released from the inside of the door. Removal of the pin is therefore only possible if access to the interior has been granted. When the door is closed, the pin cannot be removed from the outside of the door, i.e., from the side of the door to which the door fitting according to the invention is preferably attached. It is therefore not possible to move the locking device into the release position and thus remove the fitting device from the mounting plate without the use of destructive force.
[0023] The locking device is particularly designed as a single piece. In particular, the locking device is formed by a sheet metal element.
[0024] In particular, the locking device is located on a rear side of the mounting plate facing the door. In particular, the mounting plate has a corresponding recess on its rear side for receiving the locking device.
[0025] Preferably, the locking device is linearly displaceable parallel to the mounting plate. In particular, the locking device is linearly displaceable in the vertical direction perpendicular to the mounting axis.
[0026] Preferably, the first pin element recess, in particular the first locking cylinder recess, is arranged below the handle area, wherein the locking device secures the fitting device above the handle area, in particular engaging with the fitting device. The locking device thus extends, preferably on the rear side of the mounting plate, from the lower area with the pin element recess, in particular the first locking cylinder recess, past the handle area to the upper area of the door fitting and secures the fitting device there, in particular engaging with the fitting device there in a form-fitting manner.
[0027] The fastening elements (particularly screws) for connecting the fitting device to the mounting device are located, in particular, below the handle area. When the door handle is operated, a relatively large force is introduced above the handle area. To ensure a reliable force path in this upper area of the door fitting as well, it is preferably provided that the particularly positive connection between the fitting device and the locking device is formed above the handle area, thus ensuring stable force introduction into the mounting device.
[0028] It is preferably provided that the fitting device has a plate region, wherein this plate region visually forms part of the mounting plate. The plate region is preferably connected to the locking device, in particular the locking device engages this plate region in a form-fitting manner. In particular, it is provided that the mounting plate only extends over part of the height of the fitting device. The plate region preferably adjoins the mounting plate, in particular perpendicular to the mounting axis. The plate region of the fitting device can complement the mounting plate, in particular in a flush manner. In particular, the plate region visually completes the mounting plate. For example, the plate region and the mounting plate have the same spatial extent in the direction of the mounting axis.
[0029] The fitting device preferably comprises a support to which the other components of the fitting device are attached. The plate region is preferably attached, in particular screwed, to this support of the fitting device.
[0030] In particular, the plate area has an extension, in particular directed downwards, into which the locking device engages in a form-fitting manner.
[0031] The mounting plate preferably has a second pin element recess, in particular a second locking cylinder recess. The two pin element recesses, in particular locking cylinder recesses, in the locking device and the mounting plate are aligned so that the inserted pin element, in particular the inserted locking cylinder, can protrude through both recesses. The two pin element recesses, in particular locking cylinder recesses, are designed to be aligned such that the pin element, in particular the locking cylinder, can only be inserted when the locking device is in the locking position. This prevents the pin element, in particular the locking cylinder, from being mounted without the locking device first locking the fitting device.
[0032] Furthermore, it is preferably provided that at least one of the mounting elements used to attach the mounting device to the door extends through the locking device. The mounting hole is formed accordingly in the locking device. In particular, this mounting hole is located in a tab of the locking device below the first pin element recess, in particular the locking cylinder recess.
[0033] The fitting device preferably comprises a cover that can be attached to the carrier and is non-destructively assembled and disassembled. Furthermore, a coupling module and an electronics module are preferably attached to the carrier. These modules will be described in more detail below.
[0034] A frame is preferably arranged around the support. The frame can be formed integrally with the support or attached to the support.
[0035] In particular, it is provided that the fastening elements (in particular screws) for attaching the fitting device to the mounting device are accessible under the cover, i.e., after the cover has been removed. This allows these fastening elements to be easily installed. Manipulation, such as dismantling the fitting device, would be possible without further measures, since the cover can be removed without causing damage. To prevent such non-destructive manipulation, the fitting device is connected to the mounting device not only via the fastening elements but also via the described locking device.
[0036] However, it is also preferable to ensure that the mounting elements, i.e., the fastening between the mounting device and the door, cannot be tampered with non-destructively and thus unnoticed. Therefore, it is preferably provided that not all of the mounting holes or mounting elements are accessible under the cover. Accordingly, it is preferably provided that at least one mounting hole is covered by a "covering area" of the fitting device. This covering area cannot be removed from the rest of the fitting device, or at least cannot be removed non-destructively.
[0037] In particular, the covering area is the carrier and / or the coupling module and / or the electronic module: The carrier itself is firmly connected to the mounting device via the locking device.
[0038] The coupling module is preferably fixed to the carrier or to the back of the carrier so that the coupling module cannot be removed from the carrier without causing damage.
[0039] In the electronic module, a circuit board forms the covering area. This circuit board is attached in such a way that it cannot be removed from the outside without causing damage. For example, removing the circuit board would break the circuit board itself or the fastening system.
[0040] The coupling module is preferably controllable. This control is achieved, in particular, via the electronic module. The coupling module is located at least partially within the fitting device. The coupling module can extend at least partially outward and thus into the handle and / or inward and thus into the door or mortise lock.
[0041] The coupling module preferably has an outer connection and an inner connection. The outer connection serves for the rotationally fixed connection to the handle. In particular, the outer connection is a mandrel, especially a square. The handle is preferably plugged onto this outer connection and secured, for example, with a grub screw.
[0042] The inner connection is preferably a recess with a square socket. The square socket is connected to the mortise lock, in particular also to the handle on the opposite side, in a torque-transmitting manner. In particular, a corresponding pin extends from the handle on the opposite side through the mortise lock to the inner connection of the coupling module. The coupling module is designed, for example with a suitable electromagnet or other actuator, to connect and disconnect the two connections in a torque-transmitting manner when appropriately controlled.
[0043] The electronic module is arranged, in particular, above the handle area and thus above the coupling module. The electronic module preferably comprises one or more circuit boards. The electronic module is connected to the coupling module, in particular for power and / or data transmission, and serves to control the coupling module.
[0044] The electronic module preferably comprises an antenna. The antenna is preferably arranged on the at least one circuit board. In particular, the antenna is designed to receive a signal, which in turn causes the coupling module to be engaged or disengaged. In particular, the antenna is designed to wirelessly read a chip. The antenna is designed, in particular, for wireless short-range communication, e.g., via RFID or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The chip can be designed as an RFID or BLE chip.
[0045] Additionally or alternatively, the electronic module can be designed to receive other signals, wireless or wired, whereby these other signals also cause the coupling module to be engaged and / or disengaged.
[0046] An antenna cover is preferably located on the electronic module. In particular, the front visible side of the door fitting is formed by the cover in the lower area and the antenna cover in the upper area.
[0047] The antenna cover can be designed so that it can be removed without damaging the device. However, the underlying circuit board can then preferably no longer be removed without damaging the device, so that access to the underlying mounting elements is not possible in this area.
[0048] Alternatively, the area to be covered can be the antenna cover.
[0049] Preferably, the covering area, in particular the electronics module, the coupling module, the support, and / or the antenna cover, conceals the particularly positive fastening of the locking device to the fitting device, in particular to the plate area. As a result, the fastening of the mounting device to the fastening device is not possible without damaging it and without removing the pin element.
[0050] It can also be provided that a reversibly detachable connection between the plate area and the remaining fitting device is located behind the covering area.
[0051] The fastening elements for connecting the fitting device to the mounting device are located in particular below the handle area and are accessible there even after dismantling the cover.
[0052] The mounting plate may include a mounting hole. This mounting hole may be concealed by the locking device in the release position. Thus, during assembly, the mounting element is only inserted into the mounting hole once the locking device has been moved from the release position to the locking position.
[0053] Additionally or alternatively, the mounting plate may include a mounting hole, and the mounting hole may be arranged such that, in the locking position, the locking device can be supported on a mounting element located in the mounting hole. This prevents the locking device from being supported on the pin element, in particular the locking cylinder. Thus, the pin element, in particular the locking cylinder, is relieved of stress.
[0054] It is conceivable for the locking device to comprise a mounting hole that, in the locking position, is aligned with the mounting hole of the mounting plate. Preferably, the mounting hole of the locking device is only aligned with the mounting hole of the mounting plate in the locking position. In the release position, however, it is not possible to insert a mounting element, in particular a screw, through both the mounting hole of the locking device and the mounting hole of the mounting plate. When mounted on the door, a mounting element is located in the mounting hole of the locking device and the mounting plate. This allows the locking device to rest on the mounting element.
[0055] The invention further discloses an arrangement. The arrangement comprises a door. The door is, in particular, the tubular frame door already described. Furthermore, the arrangement comprises the described door fitting, which is mounted on the tubular frame door. The arrangement may comprise the described mortise lock and / or the described locking cylinder.
[0056] Furthermore, a combination of the door fitting according to the invention and the pin element, in particular the locking cylinder, is protected.
[0057] Preferably, several tubular frame holes are formed on the tubular frame door, particularly on the tubular frame. These tubular frame holes match the mounting holes or mounting elements used in the door fitting. In particular, blind rivets with internal threads are arranged at the tubular frame holes.
[0058] In particular, the tubular frame holes are located along a vertical line and not next to each other, for example to the right and left of the locking cylinder.
[0059] Preferably, the door includes the usual recess on the faceplate side for inserting the mortise lock. The faceplate-side recess of the door is delimited by an upper edge and a lower edge. In particular, all mounting holes used to mount the door fitting to the door are positioned lower than the upper edge and higher than the lower edge. Accordingly, no elements, such as screws, can be used to attach the door fitting that extend through the door frame to the opposite fitting without corresponding holes being present in the mortise lock - which is not the case with many mortise locks. This results in the very advantageous application of the door fitting shown here, which, through the use of the locking device on the mounting plate, enables tamper-proof installation without the screws having to extend through the door to the opposite fitting.
[0060] The invention will now be described in more detail using an exemplary embodiment. In the following: Fig. 1 shows an arrangement according to the invention with a door fitting according to the invention according to an embodiment, Fig. 2 shows the door fitting according to the invention according to the embodiment without a cover, Fig. 3 shows a rear side of the door fitting according to the invention according to the embodiment, Fig. 4 shows the rear side of the door fitting according to the invention according to the embodiment without a mounting device, Fig. 5 shows the mounting device of the door fitting according to the invention according to the embodiment, Fig. 6 shows an exploded view of the mounting device from Fig. 5 , and Fig. 7 a detail of the door fitting according to the invention according to the embodiment.
[0061] In the following, the Figures 1 to 7 A door fitting 1 according to an embodiment is described in detail. Unless otherwise stated, reference is always made to all figures.
[0062] Fig. 1 shows the door fitting 1 as part of an arrangement 100. The arrangement 100 comprises a door 101, which is designed as a tubular frame door and is shown here only in detail.
[0063] The door 101 comprises a tubular frame 102 and a frame panel 103. The frame panel 103 is, in particular, a glass panel or other panel-shaped element. The tubular frame 102 is hollow inside and has a recess 104 on the faceplate side for inserting a conventional mortise lock. The recess 104 on the faceplate side is delimited by an upper edge 105 and a lower edge 106. In the area between the upper edge 105 and the lower edge 106, the tubular frame 102 has several tubular frame holes 107. The door fitting 1 is screwed onto these tubular frame holes 107.
[0064] Fig. 1 shows the perspective view of the tubular frame holes 107 on the opposite side. However, the tubular frame holes 107 of the described Fig. 1 The front side is positioned the same. Blind rivets with internal threads can be used on the inside of the tubular frame holes 107.
[0065] How Fig. 1 shows, the four tube frame holes 107 used are located in the area below the upper edge 105 and above the lower edge 106. Furthermore, the tube frame holes 107 are arranged along a vertical line.
[0066] Furthermore, Fig. 1 the position of a mounting axis 108 which extends horizontally and perpendicularly to the door or coaxially to the axis of rotation of a handle 8.
[0067] The door fitting 1 comprises a fitting device 4, which is designed in particular based on the Figures 2 to 4 and a mounting device 2, which is described in particular with reference to the Figures 5 to 7 is described.
[0068] The fitting device 4 has a support 41. The handle 8 is rotatably mounted on the support 41 at a handle area 43. This handle area 43 is formed in particular by a coupling module 44.
[0069] The coupling module 44 is, as shown for example in Fig. 4 shown, attached to the carrier 41. The coupling module 44 has an inner connection 45 and an outer connection 46.
[0070] In the illustrated embodiment, the inner connection 45 is designed as a recess with a square socket. The inner connection 45 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the lock (not shown) or the handle on the opposite side.
[0071] The coupling module 44 also includes an outer connection 46, here designed as a square mandrel. The handle 8 is seated on the outer connection 46.
[0072] The coupling module 44 is designed to connect the two connections 45, 46 to one another in a rotationally fixed manner, i.e. to engage them, or to separate them, i.e. to disengage them, when appropriately controlled by an electronic module 47.
[0073] The electronics module 47 is located above the handle area 43 in the fitting device 45. In the illustrated embodiment, the electronics module 47 has two parallel circuit boards. The electronics module 47 is connected to the coupling module 44 for electrical and data transmission.
[0074] Furthermore, the electronic module 47 has an antenna 48, which is printed, for example, on one of the circuit boards. The antenna 48 is designed in particular for reading an RFID chip.
[0075] A frame 42 is located around the support 41, visually enclosing the fitting device 4 at the sides, top, and bottom. A cover 50 is mounted on the front of the support 41 or frame 42 in a non-destructively removable manner. The cover 50 also has a recess through which the handle 8 can extend and / or through which the outer connection 46 can extend outward.
[0076] Above the cover 50, the fitting device 4 is closed at the front by an antenna cover 49.
[0077] Fig. 2 shows the front of the door fitting 1 with the cover 50 removed. Fig. 3 shows the back of the door fitting 1, with the fitting device 4 located on the mounting device 2. In Fig. 4 this mounting device 2 is hidden.
[0078] As in particular Fig. 4As shown, the fitting device 4 comprises a plate portion 52 on its rear side, which is screwed to the support 41. An extension 53 is formed on the underside of the plate portion 52. The function of this extension 53 will be described in more detail in connection with the mounting device 2.
[0079] Furthermore, the Figures 2 and 4 that the fitting device 4 is screwed to the mounting device 2, in particular the mounting plate 21, via fastening elements 51, here designed as screws.
[0080] The mounting device 2 is in the Figures 5 to 7 presented in detail. In particular Fig. 5 It can be seen that the mounting device 2 has mounting holes 22 along a vertical line that match the tubular frame holes 107. The mounting device 2 is to be attached to the door 101 via these mounting holes 22 and the corresponding mounting element 23, in particular screws.
[0081] The mounting device 2 consists of the mounting plate 21 and a locking device 25. The locking device 25 is designed as a single piece, in particular made of sheet metal.
[0082] The exploded view in Fig. 6 shows the rear side of the mounting device 2. It can be seen that the mounting plate 21 has a rear recess 24 on its rear side, in which the locking device 25 is arranged so that it can be moved linearly upwards and downwards. The figures always show the locking device 25 in the upper position, which is referred to as the locking position. By moving the locking device 25 downwards, it can be moved into the so-called release position.
[0083] The locking device 25 has a first locking cylinder recess 26 in the lower area for inserting the locking cylinder.
[0084] The lower end of the locking device 25 is formed by a lower tab 27. This lower tab 27 is bent forward and runs along the front side of the mounting plate 21. A mounting hole 22 is formed on the lower tab 27. A mounting element 23 is only inserted into the mounting hole 22 of the locking device 25 once the locking device 25 has been moved into the locking position. This mounting element 23 is also located in a mounting hole 22 of the mounting plate 21. The locking device 25 is supported by the mounting element 23.
[0085] The locking device 25 extends from the lower tab 27 and the first lock cylinder recess 26 with two parallel, spaced webs 28 upwards past the handle area 43.
[0086] Above the handle area 43, the two webs 28 merge to form an upper tab 30, which is bent at 90°. The upper tab 30 contains an upper recess 31 into which the extension 53 projects in the locked position.
[0087] Crucial for the positive locking is a positive locking edge 29, which in the illustrated embodiment is located in the upper recess 31. This positive locking edge 29 prevents movement of the fitting device 4 parallel to the mounting axis 108 away from the door 101.
[0088] Fig. 6shows that the mounting plate 21 has a recessed receptacle 32 at its upper end. The upper tab 30 of the locking device 25 is recessed into this recessed receptacle 32 when the locking device 25 is in the release position. This prevents the locking device 25 from protruding beyond the mounting plate 21 during assembly of the mounting device and thereby becoming bent or hindering assembly.
[0089] Fig. 7 shows the upper area of the mounting device 2 and the plate area 52 as part of the fitting device 4 in the locked state. In conjunction with Fig. 1 or Fig. 3 It can be seen that the plate area 52 complements the mounting plate 21 on its upper side and, in particular, visually completes it, since the combination of plate area 52 and mounting plate 21 corresponds in height approximately to the height of the fitting device 4.
[0090] Furthermore, the Figures 4and 5 that the mounting plate 21 has a second locking cylinder recess 33. The two locking cylinder recesses 26, 33 are aligned such that the locking cylinder can only be inserted when the locking device 25 is in the upper position, i.e., in the locking position. In this position, the locking device 25 is fixed in the lower tab 27 by the mounting element 23.
[0091] Movement into the release position is prevented by the locking cylinder. The locking cylinder can only be removed when the door is open. This prevents disassembly of the door fitting 1 according to the invention from the outside. The lower mounting elements 23 can indeed be released after removing the cover 50. The fastening elements 51 can also be released. However, because the locking device 25 is connected to the fitting device 4 on the side facing the door, in particular in a form-fitting manner, it is not possible to detach the fitting device 4 from the mounting device 2. In addition, the fastening of the mounting device 2 and the fitting device 4 takes place behind the electronics module 47 and / or the antenna cover 49. The fastening of the mounting device 2 and the fitting device 4 can only be released non-destructively by moving the locking device 25 into the release position. However, this is prevented by the locking cylinder.
[0092] The Figure 3 The uppermost mounting element 23 shown is arranged behind the electronics module 47 and / or the antenna cover 49. This can only be accessed without damage if the fitting device 4 is first separated from the mounting device. However, this is prevented by the locking cylinder and the positive connection between the locking device 25 and the fitting device 4.
[0093] If the positive connection between the locking device 25 and the plate region 52 is closed, the fastening of the plate region 52 to the remaining fitting device 4 is also not accessible without causing damage. In particular, the plate region 52 is arranged behind the electronics module 47 and / or the antenna cover 49. List of reference symbols
